Riri looked at her coms as they waited for any news. There still wasn't anything.

Quentin: H-Hey.

Riri looked up to see her lover standing there.

Quentin: E-Everything good?

Riri just sighed. Quentin sat next to her and allowed her to rest her head on his shoulder.

Riri: I'm honestly worried. No one has reported in.

Quentin: T-They'll be fine. They're all s-strong.

Riri: I know. They're still my team.

Miguel looked at the two and smiled. At least that part was fixed. His eyes moved to Abstract who was mock gagging at seeing his grandparents act all lovey dovey. This earned a nudge from Damien who returned to talking to Gabe. It has been some time since the 2099 Avengers were together like this. After Gabe's departure and Arthur and Grey's deal, things had been hard for everyone. It was nice to know that their priorities were at least still there.

Gwen: Maybe we should check the history files again.

Miguel: I've checked them at least five times. Nothing has changed. Even Sam's death hasn't been rewritten. It's like someone is stopping it from changing.

Arthur: Like someone is manipulating time?

Miguel shrugged. Suddenly, it hit him. At the same time, Arthur realized what he just said.

Miguel: Thanos is in New York.

Arthur: He's getting the Time Stone.

Jericho watched the sky as if he was waiting for something to suddenly appear. His patience was just about to reach its end as he grew more frustrated. Tony had found out that the lines were cut after Thanos' forces had managed to destroy the Avengers' satellite.

There was no way to reach anyone meaning everyone was on their own.

Sun: Bro!

Jericho turned back around to see his team standing there in their gear. Right. It was time to be a leader. Jericho jumped down from his vantage point and walked over to the Program. He took a glance over to the adults who were having a meeting of their own. Probably about the satellite.

Stinger: So, what's the plan?

Jericho: We wait. We can't really do much at the moment.

White Tiger: So that's it? Just us sitting here like ducks?

Spider-Girl: To be fair, there's nothing for us to do.

Iron-Spider: But shouldn't we at least have some plan of attack.

Sun: Yeah. Attack.

Stella: No shit, Sherlock.

Jericho: Language. Look, I know everyone is restless. This is our biggest mission yet. We just need to stay focus for when something does happen.

Everyone just agreed silently before they all dispersed. Jericho sighed as he looked back over to the adults.

Natasha was slightly worried about the coms being dead but she knew that you had your end handled. She did train you guys after all.

Tony: Maybe we can send someone up there to fix it.

Cap: Too risky. Up there is Thanos' territory. Galactus and the Hearlds should be holding them off well enough.

Bruce: How much longer until the Guardians arrive?

Reed: About two hours. After that, well have reinforcements with the Realms.

Cap: Good. We'll need it. As for now...

Suddenly, there was a loud boom. The heroes, both old and new, watched as beams of light appeared all around the city.

Tony: What the hell is that?

Natasha: Their forces. They're going to attack civilians!

Tony activated his helment and flew up.

Tony: Everyone focus on protecting civilians. Program, you stay back to protect the Time Stone.

The former Avengers all jumped into action while Jericho turned back to his team.

Jericho: You heard Ironman. Our objective is the Time Stone.

Everyone nodded before there was another loud boom. Everyone looked over and saw that this one was closer.

Strange: Children, stay back.

Sun: What?

Strange: Do as I say!

From the beam, came the one armed Thanos. His wound was still dripping fresh blood as his eyes scanned the area. Strange knee this was coming. He had seen it all.

Strange: Kids, you must leave.

Jericho: Hell no!

Strange: That was not a request. It was an order.

Sun: We're supposed to protect the Stone.

Iron-Spider: Kinda the reason we're here.

Strange shook his head.

Strange: Your purpose in this battle is much greater than that. You all must go. Now.

Stella: Not a chance.

Strange closed his eyes before he opened up a portal and forced the entire Program through. Strange took a deep breath as he turned back around. The children did not need to see what was about to transpire.

Everyone in the castle stopped and looked up as a portal opened up over head. From it, the Program all fell through and landed int the room.

Riri: Kids?!

Jericho sat up and looked around before he punched the ground in frustration. He stood up and looked around.

Eli: What are you guys doing here?

Sun: Strange sent us here. Thanos was in New York.

Miguel: Shit! We were right! He's going to use the Stone to change time!

Arthur: He's stopping it from changing.

Gwendolyn: Uh, English for those of us who don't understand time travel crap.

Miguel turned to everyone.

Miguel: Thanos is messing with the timeline and now that he has the Time Stone, we have no way of knowing what he's going to do next since he just created an entirely separate timeline. We've been looking at what happened in our timeline, not yours!

Danny: So from this moment forward...

Jax: Thanos is unpredictable. We have no way of knowing his next move or even what he has already done.

Quentin: This i-isn't good.

Y/N: No. It's not.

Everyone turned to see you enter the castle with the other Strikers and the survivors of Wakanda. Everyone immediately noticed some people missing from the group.

Danny: Where's Viv? Kitty? Matt?

Riri: Where is Big Hero?

You stopped and looked back as the New Avalon medical care moved to help the injured soldiers. The Knights all moved to talked to Danny about Matt while you just walked over and sat down on one of the benches.

Y/N: Viv and Kitty, they, they didn't make it.

Everyone fell silent. Jericho looked to his siblings to see that they took the new hard. She was one of their mothers after all.

Riri: Does that mean Thanos...

Robbie: We have the Mind Stone. Soul Stone to.

Tyrone: And if the Program is here...

Miguel: He has the Time Stone. The coms are dead and Thanos is messing with the timeline. We don't know what his next move is going to be.

Everyone turned to you for any answers you may have. In truth, you didn't have any. You had no idea what was to come. You just clenched your fists since you knew what was happening right now.

Natasha was stuck under the rubble of what used to be an apartment complex as she struggled to keep her eyes open. One was no good while the other was just about blind from the blood she was losing. It was all so quick.

Strange had battled Thanos head on while the former heroes took on the invading forces. It was all a ruse. Natasha watched as Thanos plucked away the green Stone from the now dead Strange's necklace. Thanos placed it on his gauntlet which released a green ball of energy around him. He lifted his gauntlet to his missing arm before he used the Time Stone to bring it back.

Flexing his newly restored arm, he turned to find that the others had been defeated as well. Of course. How would they possibly stand a chance against him and his forces. Thanos just smirked as he was beamed away.

Natasha found it hard to breathe before the rubble covering her was lifted up. Cap pulled her free before he fell back. Natasha noticed the bloody cut on his side that Spidey had did his best at covering up. Speaking of Spidey, the web slinger landed next to him and Natasha noticed the absence of three fingers from his left hand.

Natasha: How many are dead?

Cap: Tony is still looking. So far, just us four made it. Mr. Fantastic is missing and so is Jessica.

Natasha had to lean against the broken wall as she looked around at all the bodies that littered the streets. Cap struggled to stand up but he managed. Finally, Tony flew over and told Cap that he had found Jessica one street over. Spidey left with him to help free her while Natasha looked up at the sky which was now orange due to the fires.

Cap: This is madness. Thanos has three Stones.

Natasha: That just means we have three as well. I trust those kids. I know they'll protect them.

Cap: I'm not doubting them. I'm just saying that things aren't going to be easy.

Natasha looked down at the open wound on her gut and winced.

Natasha: It never is, Steve. But I know those kids won't stand down. They'll fight, until their last breath. I know. I trained them.

Cap just smiled. Spidey returned with an injured Jessica in his arms while Tony followed with Reed. The remaining heroes all rested before another figure walked their way. Matasha had to squint her eyes to make out the figure before her eyes grew wide.

It was Bruce Banner. What made her worry was the fact that he was missing his left arm. Bruce stumbled over to them as he held his wound.

Bruce: We need to warn the others.

Tony: Right. But how?

Suddenly Tyrone appeared before them. He looked arlund the destroyed city before he turned back to the heroes.

Tyrone: Come on. We have to protect the last three Stones.
