Nadia watched from the window as the forces below engaged in battle against Thanos' forces. While the Knights were down there, Big Hero were up in the palace with her and the others. The Mind Stone was first priority. No one could get their hands on it.

Viv: Nadia.

Nadia turned around to see that Viv was looking at her from across the room. It was just the two of them since Laura and Kitty were on guard with Big Hero.

Nadia: Yeah?

Viv: I have been running the numbers. Our chances of survival are...

Nadia: Don't. We don't need statistics right now, Viv. We just need to have faith in everyone.

Viv didn't really respond. She just looked at the ground for a moment. Faith. Was that something she could really relay on right now? Things were already looking down with three deaths. Countless more were going on down below that she couldn't see.

Nadia looked at the android. She knew better than anyone that things were looking grim. She was beyond scared but she wasn't going to show it. She needed to be strong right now. For everyone. She needed to make it home to Elise with everyone.

Laura entered the room and noticed the tense silence between the two women.

Laura: The forces below are giving it their all. Thanos' forces aren't slowing down, though. If anything, they're multiplying.

Nadia turned back to the window and looked down below.

Frank silently cursed as the coms went dead. He grabbed and alien by the neck before he slammed him down on the ground and pumped a slug into it's chest. He then turned back around and fired off another one. Black Panther leaped from one alien to another as his claws dug deep into their skin and sprayed blood onto the battlefield. One of the aliens began to tear one of the soldiers apart before T'Challa leaped over to him and knocked the alien away.

It was too late, though. The man was dead and many more were suffering just like him. Matt fought harder than he ever had in his entire life as his wounds began to catch up with him. He felt one of the aliens fig its teeth into his arm which resulted in a cry of pain. Matt stabbed one of his batons into the creature's eye and pulled his arm away.

Venom picked up one of the aliens and used it as a makeshift hammer as he swung it around and slammed it into it's allies. Venom opened fire as well as more aliens tried to swarm him. Finally, he was out of ammo. He tossed his gun away and shot out multiple spike from his body that stabbed into multiple aliens.

Everyone was fighting their hardest yet it seemed like it amounted to nothing. Wakandan soldiers were still screaming out as they died. The alien forces were still breaking through the barriers. The heroes were growing more and more tired.

Nadia watched this in both fear and horror. She shook her head and turned back to Laura.

Nadia: Get Big Hero doen there to help. You and Kitty will stay with me so we can protect the Stone.

Laura hesitated but nodded. She dissapeared. Nadia returned to the window as Viv joined her. Frank was struggling to keep up with the invading forces but he did. When he would run out of ammo, he would use another gun. If he ran out of guns, he used his knives. When his knives were useless, he used his fists. When those failed, he would allow himself to fall. At least he was taking them down with him.

Venom watched as the palace doors opened and Big Hero rushed out to join the fight. Fred's aura was immediately helpful as it began to bulldoze through the hordes of aliens. Go Go sped through the forces while Honey Lemon and Wasabi forced their way through. Overhead, Hiro rode on Baymax and provided air support.

Maybe thing will turn around after all.

Quentin: H-How do you t-think the others are?

Danny: Hopefully, they are well.

The Avengers hung around the castle while the Future Avengers silently spoke to each other. Danny's eyes fell on Gabe who was leaning away from the others while Arthur and Miguel talked about strategy and what they knew about this event.

Riri: Regardless, we should focus on our job first. Our priority is the Reality Stone.

Miles: Right.

Danny looked over to his friend to see that he hadn't fully recovered from Gwen's death. It was hard on everyone but, it seemed to have hit him the hardest. Made sense since they knew each other the longest.

Gwendolyn: So, what happens if Thanos attacks here? I mean, we have Danny and Adam but, what are the rest of us going to do?

Danny: What do you mean?

Gwendolyn: Well, Y/N was made for the purpose of fighting Thanos and he already has two Stones. Can we really fight him?

Miguel: You won't have to worry about that. Records show that he won't show up here. Y/N fights him in New York. As a matter of fact, it should be under attack right now.

Riri: Really? Why haven't they radioed in?

Miguel just shrugged.

Venus: To be fair, you guys have a tendency to change the timeliness.

Danny: So Thanos could really be anywhere.

Arthur: I think his forces attack New York first before they move to Wakanda. I don't recall him ever coming here.

Dane: Yet New York hasn't contacted us. Neither has Wakanda.

Gabe seemed to have realized something before he stood up.

Gabe: Wait. What if that's wrong?

Arthur: What do you mean?

Everyone turned to the archer as he began to piece it together.

Gabe: What if, something happened that shouldn't have. Like a death? Or an attack?

The Future Avengers suddenly grew wide eyed as they realized something.

Venus: Uncle Sam. He wasn't supposed to die!

Katie: What?!

Arthur: He helped grandpa fight Thanos! He was supposed to survive because Thanos' forces attacked Grandpa instead of Xander!

Riri: So you're telling me that this battle isn't going the way it's supposed to?

Damien: But if that's the case, where the hell is Thanos? Where are his forces attacking?

Venom slammed down another alien before he threw it away. He began to grow in size before he let out a roar and charged through the forces. Matt held onto his shoulder as he held out his remaining baton as he became surrounded.

One of them leaped at him but T'Challa moved and kicked it away. The Black Panther began to help the Daredevil fight off the forces the best they could. It wasn't long before T'Challa was hit in the leg that sent him to drop on his knee. From behind, an alien jumped onto Matt's back and bit down on his shoulder once more that resulted in it being ripped clean off.

Matt let out a cry of pain before another alien jumped on him and began to tear away at him as well. T'Challa slipped away and stood back up to try and help but it was too late. Matt was covered with aliens as they dug into his skin and tore him to shreds.

T'Challa: No...

He was interrupted by a loud scream. He turned back around to see that one of the large aliens grabbed Wasabi and lifted him up towards its mouth. T'Challa watched in horror as it bit down on the samurai before it dropped the lifeless body to the ground.

Venom knocked the beast down and leaped up to stab a spike through its skull. He stood back up and looked around the battlefield to see that it was absolute carnage. Bodies littered the battlefield from both sides. Red blood mixed with blue.

Venom: Where are you kid?

He leaped down and rejoined the fight. He didn't get tired. He was one of the lucky ones. He rushed back into battle before there was a loud boom from above. A bright light shined down into the middle of the field which stopped everyone.

The light cleared and T'Challa looked to see who was standing there.

Thanos: So, this is Earth.

He smirked as he clenched the gauntlet in his hand.

Thanos: I will enjoy tearing it to pieces.

Thanos began to march across the battlefield toward the palace. Anyone who would get close was greeted with a powerful attack that sent them flying away. From where he was, T'Challa felt the raw power that came off the Mad Titan. That wasn't even with the Stones in his possession.

Venom watched as he got closer to the palace. He struggled to push through the forces to try and stop but but there were just too many.

Thanos stopped in his tracks when Big Hero stood between him and the palace. Up above, Nadia and Viv watched.

Nadia: I can feel him from up here.

Viv: His power level matches that of Y/N in his Godslayer form. It seems to have doubled with the Stones.

Nadia looked at the android with wide eyes. Thanos smirked as he looked at the 5 heroes. Go Go was the first one to make a move but almost immediately, there was nothing there. The only thing left was her skates.

Hiro's eyes grew wide in horror as Thanos suddenly grabbed Fred by his head. With no effort, he squeezed his head like he was popping a ballon. He threw Fred's body right into Honey Lemon with enough force to completely destory her body. Hiro looked at his fallen comrades before Thanos turned to him. He walked over to him and stared at the boy.

Thanos: Move, or die.

Hiro stood there for a moment. He was completely frozen in fear. He had never seen power like this before. Pure, raw, unadulterated power. Thanos simply looked at him before he pushed him to the side and continued his way up to the palace.

Nadia and Viv turned to find Kitty and Laura there with them.

Kitty: Thanos is here.

Nadia: We saw. He completely wiped out Big Hero.

Laura: Shit! We need to go!

The three began to leave but Viv didn't budge. The girls stopped and turned back to her.

Nadia: Viv, we need to go.

Viv just shook her head.

Viv: They died, because of me. Because of this Stone.

Laura: Now isn't the time for this, Viv!

Viv turned around and stared at them with clenched fists.

Viv: I am staying. I am fighting.

Nadia looked at the android. She knew there was no arguing with her. She was prepared to fight this. To stand her ground. Nadia hesitated before she shook her head. Viv was right. She can't run now.

Kitty: Guys...

Nadia: We need to stay and fight. We can't run.

Laura: You're joking.

Nadia: I'm serious.

Laura and Kitty looked at each other before the two girls sighed.

Laura: God, damnit! Fine. We'll fight. We can hold him off until Y/N arrives.

Nadia nodded as the four of them left the room.

Thanos marched up the steps of the palace before he stopped. Standing there, were the four women ready for battle. Thanos raised a brow before he noticed the Mind Stone in Viv's head.

Thanos: I see. I will need to take it by force.

Laura: You'll have to go through us.

Thanos lifted his gauntlet with a smile.

Thanos: That can be arranged.

Laura popped out her claws while Nadia activated her helmet. Viv flew up and released a beam from her head that Thanos blocked his his hand. Laura rushed forward and sliced his leg which caused him to drop to one knee. She then climbed up his back and lifted her claw to stab into his head but Thanos managed to catch her wrist. He flung her over his shoulder and into the ground before he punched her away.

Nadia shrunk down and flew toward Thanos before she grew to normal size and fired off a blast right into Thanos' face. He cried out as it burnt his skin before Viv fired another blast. Kitty then rushed forward to try and phase herself through his arm to steal back the Stones. Thanos instead noticed her. Feed up with the attack, he slammed his hand down to the ground.

The energy wave sent the four girls flying in different directions before Thanos stood back up. He looked over to Viv and gritted his teeth. He marched over to her and grabbed her by the throat before he lifted her up.

Thanos: I am sorry, little one. But, the universe needs balance.

He slowly began to reach for the Stone as Nadia tried to recover. It was like her entire body was asleep as she struggled to push herself up. Unfortunately, she was too late. She was forced to watch as Thanos dug his fingers through Viv's head and grab the Stone.

He ripped it out and discarded her body with no care as he looked at the Stone. He smiled as he began to move the Stone towards his gauntlet, but he never got it there. Instead, he felt a sharp pain in his wrist that caused him to drop the Stone. He looked down to see that Kitty had phased her own hand through his arm and used it to cut it clean off.

Thanos' eyes grew in anger as he backhanded Kitty in a fit of rage. The force was so great that Laura heard the snap of Kitty's neck before her body fell lifeless to the ground. Thanos held his bleeding arm, or what was left of it, before the beam of light shined on him and took him away.

Nadia slowly turned back to Viv's body as she tried to pull herself to her. Nadia finally reached her and saw the damage. Her skin was now dark and grey while her eyes no longer had light in them. The spot the Stone once was was no longer there. Just a hole.

Thanos' forces began to retreat as the remaining heroes finally started to give in to their wounds and their tiredness. Venom looked around at the battlefield before his eyes fell on the palace. His eyes grew wide when he saw Viv and Kitty. Slowly, he dropped to his knees.

Venom: No.

You stepped out of Tyrone's cloak with the others only to find the palace in complete silence. You looked around and saw that the number of soldiers had decreased drastically while those who were left were unfit to fight.

Slowly, you made your way through the halls before you came across T'Challa who was tending to one of his men. He looked up and spotted you before he slowly lowered his head. You looked to your left and saw Eddie leave a room. He noticed you and Venom appeared on his shoulder.

Venom: I, I'm ssory kid.

You looked at him confused before you pushed past him and entered the room. Immediately, you froze. There were two beds. On one, a body covered in a white sheet where Laura sat with her head in her hands. On the other, was Viv. Her body broken and without life. Nadia held her hand as she cried. On Viv's finger, you saw her ring. Slowly, you stumbled over to her. You looked at her before you felt tears form in your eyes as you slowly reached out toward her.

Your finger brushed against her cheek as the first tear fell.

Viv: Is there something wrong with me?

You looked at her confused.

Viv: Everyone else was crying at the movie. Why did I not feel anything?

Oh. That explains it. What do you even say to that? Sorry that you can't feel emotion because your an android? No. This was your friend looking for some kind of comfort. You needed to be there for her.

Y/N: I wasn't crying.

She looked up to you.

Y/N: As a matter of fact that movie sucked. Don't feel bad about not feeling anything for that crap.

Viv seemed a bit happier. You then placed your free hand on hers and smiled.

Y/N: Besides, you feel bad about it right? That means you feel something in the end.

Viv suddenly realized that you were right. Guilt. She felt guilt. She felt bad for not crying.

Viv: I see. I am learning quite a bit during this project.

Y/N: Don't you mean date?

Viv just smiled.

Viv: Yes. Date.

The second tear fell as you slowly placed your head against hers. You began to cry as the others entered the room.

Viv: Y/N.

Y/N/Venom: AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Viv looked at you before trying to do her own yell.

Viv: ahhhhhhhh.

You grabbed your chest from the near heart attack Viv gave you from phasing through your closet. You turned on on the light and looked at her.

Y/N: Why?!

Viv: Why what?

Y/N: Why did you phase through my door? Why didn't you knock?

Viv: Apologizes.

She phased out your closet, knocked, and phased back in.

Viv: Is that better?

You just sighed.

Y/N: Did you need something?

Viv nodded.

Viv: Since I do not attend school with you, I was hoping I could spend time with you now.

You yawned.

Y/N: I don't really feel like going out right now. Maybe we could just watch a movie?

Viv phased in a laptop with a charger.

Viv: My thoughts exactly.

You gave her an odd look before shrugging. You were about to open the door but Viv phased completely through and laid against you.

Viv: I believe this is referred to as, cuddling?

You just smiled.

Y/N: This works to.

You ended up falling asleep sometime during the movie but Viv watched it all the way through. Once it was over, she closed the laptop and phased it through the door. She then positioned herself so she was laying on top of you. She then closed her eyes and pretended to sleep.

Felicia covered her mouth while Tandy held Doreen as she cried. Robbie moved to punch the wall but stopped himself and instead rested his head against it. Tyrone stayed quiet as Molly silently sobbed. You placed one final kiss on her head before you looked up and saw the Mind Stone on the nightstand. Your eyes were quickly replaced with anger.

Kitty ended up leaning against you since Venom and Lockheed were still fighting on the other side of the counter.

Kitty: Sorry about leaving you behind.

You just smiled as you petted her.

Y/N: I'll try not to miss you guys too much.

Miles watched the two of you and wondered why you seemed so damn obvious. Kitty stood up and picked up Lockheed was was still swiping at Venom.
