You looked up at the tall building with a sigh. Any other time, you would love to visit the Baxter Building and the Fantastic Four. They had kinda became a weird family friend situation. You even trusted them enough to have Sue and Ben act as the mentors to the new Program.

Eli: Every time I see this place, I can't help but feel a bit hopeful.

Y/N: Yeah. Shame we have to be here under these circumstances though.

Doreen: It'll still be good to see everyone again. I wonder how the others are doing.

You just shrugged.

Y/N: Probably bored. I doubt anything exciting is going on.

You all entered the building and simply nodded at the receptionist. You all entered the elevator and waited. Music played as you all stood around awkwardly.

Viv: I like this song.

Eli: Cool.

Silence.

Kamala: So, how are things?

Y/N: Pretty good.

Kamala: Good. Good.

Tyrone: Yeah.

The awkward silence continued. You looked up at the blinking numbers and saw that you were only on the 5th floor. Only 20 more to go. Eli cleared his throat while Doreen reached behind you and pinched your butt which made you jump a bit. You shot her a look to which she just responded by winking. The doors finally opened and you all sighed a breath of relief.

Kamala: We made it.

You all stepped out and headed over to the medical wing where Reed had moved the Guardians to. As you entered, you found him standing over Peter in his lab coat while writing on a clipboard. He noticed you and smiled.

Reed: Hello. Glad you made it.

Y/N: Us to. What's the news?

Reed looked down at the sleeping space man before sighing.

Reed: Nothing new to report, I'm afraid. You were lucky that you found them when you did. Any longer and they might have been much worse.

Doreen: So, are they ok now?

Reed: For the most part. They just need rest.

That was a relief. You were just glad they were ok for the time being. Looks like you were playing the waiting game.

Eli: So, we just have to wait?

Reed: I'm afraid so.

Tyrone: Then maybe we should head back to HQ. We can report back to the others when they return.

Kamala: Might as well. Nothing we can really do here.

You just sighed as you turned over to the window. This was a great view of New York. Kinda like a painting. Why were your senses going off?

Viv: Missile approaching.

Oh. Oh! OH!

Y/N: Everyone get down!

The missile hit the side of the building which caused the entire structure to shake. The blast was a few floors below but you could already smell the smoke.

Eli: An attack?

Reed: Why didn't the alarms go off?

You stood back up and rushed over to the window. Your eyes widened when you saw a horrific sight.

Y/N: Guys. It's Doom.

Everyone looked out the windoe to see an army of Doombots flying straight toward the building.

Doreen: Hm. That's not something you see everyday.

Reed and Eli moved to push the Guardians to safety as the bots flew through the window and started to attack. You popped out your claws and began to tear through as many as you could while the others smashed and blasted them away. Tyrone used his cloak to teleport several away to the Dark Dimension while Doreen smashed several more and even threw some outside the window.

Viv: I am getting several readings on the Doombots.

Eli: Like an army?

Kamala: It seems like it. They just won't end.

Y/N: We need to keep them away from the Guardians. Viv, Cloak, you guys are in charge of going to the damaged floor and evacuating the building. Patriot, Ms. Marvel, and Squirrel Girl are with me. Get to work on smashing as many bots as you can.

Reed: I'm going to try and get the system back online.

Y/N: That's fine.

Doreen: Oh! Say the thing.

Y/N: Which one?

Eli: Which do you think?

You just smirked as you all leaped into action.

Y/N: AVENGERS, ASSEMBLE!

Viv and Tyrone flew out of the destroyed window and flew down to the damaged floor while the rest of you got to work with trying to destroy the Doombots. You ignited your claws and sliced through even more bots before freezing the ground and trapping several more which Doreen smashed.

Eli slammed his shield into another which sliced it in half before he used the upper body to slam another against the wall. Kamala enlarged her fists and started to beat down whoever she could reach.

Viv and Tyrone reached the destroyed floor where they got to work with getting everyone out. It didn't take long before they got some help.

Johnny: I really can't go anywhere for 5 minutes.

Johnny flew in and got to work with wielding the steel beams that were threatening to fall apart.

Tyrone: Thanks for coming back. Where are the other two?

Johnny: Sue and Ben are at the Program's Tower. I sent out the alert.

Back on the 25th floor, you contiued your fight before you blasted out the window to battle the bots outside of the tight space. As you flew around to destroy even more bots, you suddenly found a new person joining the fight.

Sun: Hey dad!

Y/N: Sun? What are you doing here?

Sun: Mrs. Richards said that we needed to help. The entire Program is here to. See?

You looked back at the building which now had several more heroes helping with holding back the attack. You spotted Jericho and Stella among the fight and smiled.

Y/N: Have I ever told you how proud I am of you guys?

Sun: Every change you get.

Y/N: It's because it's true. Come on.

The two of you blasted back toward the building where you both rejoined the others.

Y/N: Spider-Girl, I need webs on the 22nd floor. Stinger and Pinpoint, you go to and help Viv and Cloak with the evacuation.

They all nodded and all jumped out of the window, May swinging to action while Cassie carried Pinpoint.

Y/N: Iron Spider, you think you can help Reed with getting the security system up?

Amadeus nodded and rushed off to help Richards. You caught a bot's fist and tore the arm off before swinging it right back at the bot which sent it flying back outside.

Y/N: God. I hate this guy.

Jericho: We need to find a way to shut these things down. Their signal has to be coming from somewhere.

Stella: They're being controlled by someone.

That's right. But who?....Did you really just ask yourself that? Who else would be controlling Doombots?

Y/N: Right. We just need to find out where. White Tiger!

The young girl turned to you.

Y/N: Switch out with Viv. Tell her that we need her up here.

The girl nodded and rushed out the room to head downstairs. Before long, Viv flew thriugh the window where she blasted a few more bots.

Viv: I was summoned?

Y/N: I need you to hack into one of the bots and find out where the signal is coming from.

Viv nodded and bent down to hack into the system just as the security system came back online. As the measures took over, the others returned.

Viv: I have track the signal.

Y/N: Good. We'll go take care of it.

Eli: The rest of us will stay here in case the bots break through.

You nodded as you and Viv flew away. As you soared through the sky, you tbought back on Doom.

Y/N: How did he break out of the RAFT? I thought SHEILD locked him up back after I kicked his ass in Tokyo.

Viv: It appears that he had escaped under unknown circumstances.

You grunted.

Y/N: I guess I should talk to Fury about that. That guys seriously scares me.

The two of you finay reached the docks where you came across the an abandoned warehouse. So he must be inside. You walked up to the metal door and kicked it in, only to be blasted back.

Viv: You should have knocked.

Y/N: Oh haha!

You stood back up and blasted into the warehouse where you found more Doombots and the main man himself.

Doom: So, you arrived. I have been waiting for this chance to get my...

He was immediately silenced when you flew right into him which lead to you sending him through the side of the warehouse. You then flew up as Doom screamed. You reached the vastness of space before you smirked.

Y/N: Have a nice fall.

You let go and dropped Doom. You flew down and passed him before you caught his leg and threw him the rest of the way. This caused a small crater in the warehouse as the bots all powered down. You flew down and laughed.

Y/N: Man. I really wanted to do that to someone and I am so glad it was you.

You steached as you and Viv returned to the Baxter Building after SHEILD came and apprehended Doom. You both stepped into the medical wing which was already under repairs.

Y/N: We're back!

Doreen: Did you kick his ass?!

Y/N: Kinda.

You smirked as your mask deactivated and you walked over to Reed.

Y/N: Sorry about the building.

Reed: Don't worry about it. It seems that the noise woke some people up.

Your eyes widened as he lead you and your team to the safe room where you found Drax and Gamora awake.

Y/N: You guys are awake.

Gamora: How long were we out for?

Reed: Only about a day. How are you feeling?

Drax: Like I ate something bad.

Gamora looked at her lap and shook her head as she clenched her fists.

Gamora: Thanos. He's coming.

Eli: We know. We're already getting preoare for if he attacks.

Gamora shook her head.

Gamora: You don't understand. He's coming here. We don't have much time.

You raised a brow and looked at the others.

Y/N: What do you mean? We have three of the Stones and we're looking into the others.

Gamora just shook her head again.

Gamora: You don't understand. He has the Space Stone.

Your eyes widened at the news. He already had a Stone? That was, seriously troubling.

Y/N: So, he's already on his warpath?

Gamora: Yes. You need to get the other two Stones before it's too late.

Everyone turned to you as your heart raced. You were out of time.
