You leaned against the wall as everyone took in the news. You had flown to Symkaria where the other Avengers were and the Avengers in Wakanda joining in by hologram.

Miles: Sam...

Y/N: I'm sorry.

Kamala: It's, not your fault.

Your hands were resting on the table as you stood before everyone. You had just told everyone about Sam and Moony. How you had lost them both in the matter of hours.

Riri: This is really war then.

Y/N: Yeah. Look, this isn't just us fucking around anymore. This is real. This is something we've never seen before. None of us have ever even seen Thanos yet he has already taken one life from us.

Everyone silently agreed. You set the Soul Stone onto the table and looked at everyone.

Y/N: Thanos is coming. He's coming now. We don't have time to waste anymore. The Stones need to stay separated. The Reality Stone in Symkaria, the Mind Stone in Wakanda, the Time Stone in New York, and now the Soul Stone that will stay with me at all times.

Gwen: How are we breaking this up?

You typed into the table's program and the image appeared on the screen behind you.

Y/N: New York is protected by the former Avengers and the Program. Symkaria will be with the Symkaria and New Avalon forces as well as the Avengers. Wakanda is protected by the Knights.

Quentin: A-And the S-Soul Stone?

You looked at the Stone before you. You finally sighed and picked it up again.

Y/N: That's up to me.

Everyone immediately looked at you as you slid the Stone into your pocket.

Miles: Like hell it is.

Nadia: You're not going to be the only thing between Thanos and that Stone.

Y/N: I have to be. It's already written in stone that we will have to face each other eventually.

Robbie: I've seen first hand what his minions can do without the Stones. If Thanos gets the other five, then you won't stand a chance. If we had more time and could plan more...

Y/N: We don't. We're out of time and we have no more room for planning. We need to hold off Thanos' forces and either kill Thanos before he can get all six, or find a way to destroy at least one Stone.

Katie: But it's suicide.

You slammed your fist on the table which made a few people jump.

Y/N: I know that damnit! This, all of this is war. If we're going to win, then I'm willing to put my life on the line. I won't lose anyone else if I can stop it.

Everyone looked at each other for a moment. The entire room was silent.

Kamala: Then, we can at least help. Keep the Strikers with you to help guard the Stone.

Y/N: Kamala....

Doreen: Like he has a say. He was the one who brought us all together in the first place.

Robbie: We're not abandoning him now.

Tyrone: We'll help you keep the Stone safe until we can destroy it or defeat Thanos.

Felicia nodded in agreement as well. Even Tandy smiled at the idea. You looked at your team for a moment before you looked over to Molly. She was still in full uniform like everyone else, but she didn't have her mask on. She was suffering more than anyone else here. Sam's death was sudden and unjust. You clenched your fists and nodded.

Y/N: Fine. The Strikers are with me. We'll find someplace to hide out for the time bei....

Suddenly, the entire room shaked. You looked around confused before your senes went off like crazy for the first time in years. You noticed that Miles, Cindy, and Gwen reacted the same way.

Gwendolyn: Uh, what was that?

Miles: Trouble.

Y/N: Big trouble.

The door swung open and one New Avalon soldier rushed in.

Soldier: We are under attack!

You turned to the others and nodded. Everyone rushed out of the room to join the battle as the holograms were forced to watch.

Nadia: Please, be safe.

You ignited your feet and blasted out of the castle where you found out who was causing all this mayhem.

Riri: One of Thanos'?

Y/N: Must be. Everyone stay sharp! Danny and Robbie, go Ultra!

Danny and Robbie immediately transformed and rushed toward the attacker.

Black Swan: So, you're the Earth's Heroes. How, interesting.

Robbie: You and your friends will pay for what you did!

Robbie transformed into his newest form and punched the attacker. Black Swan was knocked down which gave Danny the opening he needed. Danny flew above her and delivered a powerful barrage of punches that pushed Black Swan into the ground. The two boys flew back to rejoin the others who watched as the dust settled.

Quentin: Did you do it?

Gwen: No. Our senses are still going off.

From the crater, a hand emerged. Black Swan pulled herself up and began to dust herself off like nothing had happened.

Black Swan: I see. Midnight said that you were strong enough to kill Corvus. Then again, he was always the weaker of the bunch.

Riri: How is she not even hurt?

Was this the strength of Thanos' forces? Black Swan looked up at you and smirked.

Black Swan: So, we have two Stones here. Looks like I may need some backup.

You heard a loud noise and looked up to see that another portal had opened up in the village where a swarm of aliens began to rush through and attack.

Y/N: Shit. Riri, lead a team to stop them from finding the Reality Stone.

Riri: On it. Beta, you're with me. Alpha, you're helping Y/N.

You watched as some of the Avengers rushed into action to stop the invading forces while you flew back down to join everyone else.

Gwen: So, what's the plan here?

Cindy: If Danny and Robbie can't hurt her, then what can?

Robbie: Y/N is leagues ahead of us, even in this form.

Danny: We just need to hold her off enough for Y/N to defeat her.

Kamala: Right. But how?

Doreen: We just need to try.

Miles: Well, regardless, we need to focus. This is gonna be a tough fight.

You clenched your fist and powered up to Godslayer Mode before you turned to Danny and Robbie.

Y/N: We just need to hold her off long enough for the others to come back.

Everyone nodded in agreement as Black Swan looked at you.

Black Swan: Ah. The Godslayer.

Y/N: Ah. The bitch.

Black Swan continued to smirk as she suddenly vanished from sight. You all stayed on high alert as you waited for her to reappear.

Kamala: Uh, spidey people, where is she?

Miles: No clue.

Robbie: Why can't I see her aura?

Danny: You noticed it to?

Robbie nodded.

Robbie: Even on Xander, the two that attacked us didn't have one.

Y/N: What?

Suddenly, you were hit in the jaw that, for the first time in 4 years, ended up popping it out of place as you went flying across the courtyard. Black Swan smirked as she turned to the others and pulled out her knives. Danny was quick to grab her wrist as she tried to stab Doreen. Danny and her struggled for a moment before Robbie was able to land a clean hit on her. He then threw his chain at her but she managed to catch it.

Black Swan: The devil. I have heard stories about you.

Robbie: I already killed one of you!

Black Swan: Yes. Thanos' favorite one. He really wants you to himself.

She threw the chain back which instead collided with Cindy. She fell to the ground and Black Swan pulled out more knives. She threw about six and everyone scattered. You rejoined the fight and collided fists with her. The shockwave was enough to send whatever trees were nearby flying.

You delivered various kicks and punches that were all either dodged, or blocked. You then popped out your claws and delivered another hit. This time, when Black Swan tried to block, you stabbed right into her hand. Black Swan cried out in pain and staggered back as she held her bleeding hand.

Using this chance, Miles, Cindy, and Gwen leaped up and began to web her down to hold her in place. Doreen and Kamala then rushed forward and delievered a powerful joint punch to her face whoch caused her to bleed.

Black Swan: How dare you?!

Y/N: Your leader got one of my friends killed and my uncle sacrificed himself for this Stone. I'm not going to be playing games with you.

Black Swan: You'll all pay for your insolence!

She pulled out another knife and lodged it into your shoulder. To your shock, the knife seemed to be moving in your body as if it was alive. You quickly pulled it out as your wound began to heal. You threw it down and moved to attack again, but Black Swan vanished.

Black Swan: I can't kill you, but I will get that Stone.

Suddenly, she was behind Cindy where she held a knife to her throat.

Danny: CINDY!

Black Swan: One wrong move and she's dead. Give me the Stone, and I'll leave.

You clenched your fist as you tried to think.

Gwen: What do we do?

Danny: We can't give her the Stone.

Robbie: But she'll kill Cindy.

Danny: I know! We need to do something.

Miles: If we try to shot a web, she'll slit her throat.

Y/N: Damnit.

Kamala: What do we do Y/N?

Y/N: I'm thinking.

Black Swan: The Stone. Or she dies. You have three seconds.

Doreen: What?

Black Swan: 3.

Y/N: Wait!

Black Swan: 2.

Your heart began to race as she pressed the blade to Cindy's throat enough to make some blood appear. Everyone tried to come up with the best idea they could but, there was no way around this. If you gave her the Stone, then you lost. If you didn't, Cindy dies. Danny looked at his wife in fear as he clenched his fists.

Cindy: I'll be fine.

You all looked up at her to see that she was smiling despite her fear.

Cindy: Don't give in. Protect the Stone.

Black Swan: 1. Times up.

Danny: NO!

Without any further delay, Black Swan moved her wrist. To your horror, blood spilled on the ground. To your surprise, it wasn't from Cindy.

Gwen: Screw your demands you bitch.

Gwen held the knife blade in her hand as Cindy dropped to the ground. Black Swan stared at Gwen for a moment before she smile.

Black Swan: Very well.

From her glove, came a second blade. Immediately, she jabbed the blade into Gwen's gut as you all tried to rush forward. The white soon became red around the wound as her mask also began to turn red due to her coughing up blood.

Miles: NO!

Black Swan dropped Gwen and turned back to all of you, just as Miles reached her. He delivered a powerful hook to her jaw which caused her to stagger again. Miles didn't let up. He delievered blow after blow, kick after kick, punch after punch. Black Swan didn't even have time to think or look at her attacker.

Doreen and Kamala rushed over to Gwen while Danny rushed to Cindy and you and Robbie rushed to help Miles. He continued his beatdown in pure blind rage before Black Swan tried to stab him as well. Miles was quick, though, and grabbed her wrist. He ended up snapping it before he grabbed it, and forced it to go up. The blade entered the bottom of her head, and emerged through the top.

You and Robbie watched as the attacker's body fell to the ground, lifeless. Miles stood over her as he tried to catch his breath.

Y/N: Miles...

Miles: She's done.

You just nodded before you turned back around to look at Gwen. Doreen had taken her mask off so you could see her face at the very least. You kneeled down with Miles as you looked at her.

Y/N: Will she....

Doreen lowered her head as Cindy just covered her mouth as tears began to fall. Kamala held onto Robbie as Danny watched. Miles reached out and grabbed Gwen's hand as he took off his maks.

Miles: Hey. Can you hear me?

Gwen couldn't say anything. She just looked at him and smiled.

Gwen: D-Did, you, g-get her?

Miles: Yeah. I kicked her ass.

Gwen: G-Good. What, a b-bitch.

She slowly began to close her eyes but you grabbed her shoulder.

Y/N: Hey. Hey! Stay awake! You have to stay awake! We'll get some doctors over here and patch you up!

Miles: Gwen?!

Gwen didn't respond. Miles slowly found tears in his eyes and he lifted Gwen's hand to his face.

Miles: No. No no no. Not you to. Please. Gwen? Please stay awake. Please!

Everyone stayed silent as Miles cried, begged, and pleaded for Gwen to stay awake long enough for the doctors to show up.

Miles: I can't lose you to!

But, atlas, her hand went limp in his. Miles slowly lowered it to her chest before he fell back to floor where he sat. Danny walked over and picked up Gwen's body as you placed a hand on Miles' shoulder. Miles covered his face as he cried over the loss of his friend while you were mourning for yet another family member.

Y/N: I-I'm sorry.

Miles didn't say anything. He just clenched his fists.

Miles: Don't apologize. Just make me a promise.

You looked at him as he stood up. You saw something else on his face. Resolve.

Miles: When you fight Thanos, make that motherfucker pay.

You nodded as you looked up into the sky.

Y/N: Trust me. He will.
