You flew up to better hold off Galatus' hits just in time to block another. It still pushed you back some ways but you were at least able to hold your ground, or lack of, by using your new and improved fire blessing. You forced his fist away and blasted off right towards him. You made it to his right shoulder where you stabbed your blade through his armor but it never made it to his skin.

Y/N: Shit.

Galactus swatted you away from his shoulder. While it may look like someone swatting away a fly, the force of the blow sent you flying through one of the buildings and to the ground which shattered beneath you. The blow actually hurt you.

Y/N: Ouch.

You pushed yourself up and shook your head before blasting back up. You summoned a magical chain and threw it at a nearby light post. Using your strength, you pulled it out of the ground and launched it toward the giant who just flicked it away.

Galactus: What was that?

Y/N: A distraction.

You suddenly vanished from his sight in a blue spark. You were suddenly back at your blade as you blasted right toward the giant's head. You pulled your blade out along the way as you pulled back your fist, popping out your claws in the process, and coated it with your God Blessings.

Galactus: What?!

Y/N: Godslayer Beatdown!

Your fist collided with the Planet Eater's jaw with a powerful blast. The blow was so powerful that the clouds in the sky cleared away and the sea below Galactus rose up to create a wall of water behind him. Even the windows in the nearby buildings shattered.

Galactus staggered as you threw your sword to the city's center and teleported to it. You landed with a smirk as Galactus rubbed his chin.

Firelord: Lord Galactus, was hurt?

Danny: One should not turn away from their foes!

Firelord turned around and caught Danny's fist as he tried to attack.

Firelord: I thought you had more honor than that. Do you not fight with fairness?

Danny: With the people I call family? Not a chance.

Suddenly, Firelord was greeted with a powerful kick to the side as Gwen attacked with the distraction. He slammed against a nearby wall as Danny looked at his granddaughter.

Danny: How did you achieve Nirvana Form?

Gwen: Huh? Oh yeah. Well, just like with Uncle Y/N, us Reids get stronger with every generation. I got this form by the time I could drive.

Danny looked at her flabbergasted.

Danny: I had to train nonstop until I was 21.

Gwen: Cool, right?!

Firelord: You two are becoming insufferable.

The two Reids turned back to the Healrd who threw off the rubble of the destroyed wall.

Gwen: Right! Gotta get back into the fight!

Danny: Where do you get this energy?

Gwen: I'm told I get it from my mom.

Firelord let out a yell before blasting right back towards the two.

Robbie blocked the hit from Air-Walker before trading one of his own. Air-Walker grunted as the blue flaming fist connected with his gut before the handle of the pistol slammed into the side of his face.

He rolled away before standing back up. He wiped the blood from his mouth before his fists lit up with energy as did his eyes.

Air-Walker: You are truly an amazing opponent!

Robbie: Wish I could say the same.

Despite the intense situation and everything on the line, Robbie couldn't help but somewhat enjoy his fight against the Hearld. Likewise, Air-Walker had not faced an opponent like Robbie before in his life.

The two collided again as Robbie used his chain to restrain his opponent's arm. Robbie turned his body and pulled on the chain which caused Air-Walker to go flying over his shoulder and slam through the roof of the building. Robbie jumped through the hole and slammed his feet into Air-Walker which sent him all the way to the ground floor. Air-Walker managed to get up as Robbie charged at him again.

Air-Walker grabbed hold of Robbie's horns before throwing him away which sent him through the walls and out into the streets outside.

Robbie pushed himself up and smirked wickedly as Air-Walker emerged from the massive hole in the wall.

Robbie: Now we're talking.

Air-Walker: Indeed.

The two leaped at each other before their fists collided which sent shockwaves through the streets. Not too far away, an unseen figure watched, completely unfazed by the shock. Under their cloak, they smirked.

???: So this is the old man. Heh. Can't say I'm disappointed.

Sam: Get back here and face me you coward!

Surfer: Then catch up.

Sam blasted off to chase after the Surfer as he tried to shoot him down. It still blew his mind that he could fly faster than Sam in his Supernova Form.

Sam fired off another blast which Surfer blocked with his board. Sam silently cursed as he maneuvered through the city following the Hearld. Sam started to get even more frustrated as he tried his best to keep up with the fast flyer.

Sam: Damnit! This guy isn't slowing down.

He could tell that he couldn't hold his form for much longer without it affecting his body again. Hell, his eye was getting slightly blurry again. Even with all his training with Danny and Robbie, Sam couldn't quite get a hold on his Ultra Form.

Sam: This is getting rough. I have to do something. Think damnit! Why can't I come up with something?! If Riri or Quentin were here, they would have a plan.

He was never really the creative one when it came to fighting. Usually, blasting and hitting did the trick. But now, now he had to get creative. He had to do something to beat this guy. At least, restrain him long enough for you to defeat Galactus. He still had no idea how you were going to do that but, he trusted you.

Sam: Right. I can't let them down. Right now, I need to focus.

Sam blasted off faster than ever as he broke through the soundbarrier. Then, something incredible happened. It was like the world around him slowed down immensely. Sam looked around but saw that the Surfer was now flying at normal speed as he got a bit closer. All around him, he could see odd lines of light pass by him.

Sam: What is this? What are these lines?

Suddenly, he felt something. It wasn't the helmet breaking or his body giving in. Instead, it felt lighter than ever. Sam looked down at his hand and saw something else that was odd. His blue energy was gone. Instead, he was surrounded by somekind of black energy.

Sam: Wait, this is...no way. This is the Black Nova Energy!

Instead of blue and white, he was now black and gold. Black energy surrounded his body as he flew even faster. Surfer turned to see his foe quickly catching up. Before he could react, Sam punched him back to the ground below.

The Surfer slammed into the ground as he felt pain for the first time in centuries. The ground below him shattered as Sam slowly flew down. The Surfer looked up through the dust to see the mass of black energy hovering over him.

Surfer: What are you...

Sam: My name is Samuel Alexander! I'm the Black Nova!
