Doreen: Y/N?

She poked her head through the door of your temporary room only to find you asleep in the bed. She pushed the door open and walked in. The sunlight shined through the open window with the sounds of the streets below filling the otherwise silent room.

Tandy: Is he in here?

The blonde girl entered the room with Nadia close behind. Doreen pointed at the bed where you were still sleeping. After the fight yesterday, you needed it. Even the others were out cold while the Guardians explored the city.

Today, the city was holding a festival to celebrate, something. You had no idea what they were celebrating mostly because you didn't ask. You were planning on sleeping through the first day and maybe go look at things tomorrow when everyone will get here.

Or so you thought.

Nadia: Hun? Are you alright?

While Nadia was trying to be gentle, Tandy walked over to the bed and tore the blanket off of you which caused you to roll over and fall out of bed.

Nadia: Tandy!

Tandy: What?

Y/N: Huh?

You lifted your head from the wooden floor as you spotted the three women looking down at you.

Y/N: Hm.

Tandy: Hello there.

Y/N: General, *yawn, Kenobi.

Tandy rolled her eyes while Nadia laughed a bit. You pushed yourself off the ground and stood up to greet your wives. You were still shirtless but had on a pair of sweat pants, or at least this planet's version of sweat pants. You and everyone else were just glad to have clothing that wasn't robes or Asgardian garbs.

Doreen: Where did you get those?

Y/N: The Queen gave us a bunch of stuff. They have graphic tees here.

You sat on the bed and smiled.

Y/N: This planet has a bunch of stuff Earth does. It's awesome.

Tandy: Well, I guess I'm glad you guys seem to be having fun here.

Y/N: Eh. Fought the Hearlds yesterday so we're kinda tired. When did you guys get here?

Doreen: About an hour ago. Is there some kind of festival going on? Please tell me that there's a festival going on!

You just shrugged.

Y/N: No clue. Maybe? I have no idea what's going on.

You rubbed the back of your neck before standing up and kissing Tandy.

Y/N: I'm glad you guys are here though.

You kissed Nadia then Doreen before walking over to the drawer to pull on some fresh clothes.

Y/N: Whatever it is, let's go check it out. Something tells me that this will be the last time we'll have a chance to relax.

You smiled as you walked over and threw an arm around Nadia's waist before kissing her cheek.

Y/N: Oh, and I have three kids ok let's go!

You quickly rushed out of the room leaving the three women stunned.

Nadia: Three, kids?

Doreen: I'm gonna kill him.

Tandy cracked her knuckles before cracking her neck.

Tandy: Let's at least let him explain. We can break his spline later.

Robbie shifted a bit in his sleep as he ended up holding the pillow close to himself in an attempt to replicate the feeling of someone laying next to him. It was a odd habit he had picked up sometime in the last 2 years. Katie always found it adorable but never bothered to tell him about since she didn't want him to try and stop.

Speaking if which, Katie was leaning against the doorway watching her sleeping lover. She debated rather or not to wake him up but decided to take the time to watch Robbie sleep. Of course, she did want to just watch his bare torso as he slept in his boxers.

Molly: Uh, what are you doing?

Katie jumped at the sudden voice and quickly covered the view she wanted to keep to herself.

Katie: Heeeey. I'm, um, just, ah...I don't know how to lie about this.

Molly: You were totally just watching my brother sleep, didn't you?

Katie bashfully nodded.

Molly: Ok. I mean, I can't really stop you. Just, maybe don't be so creepy about it?

Molly smirked as she walked down the hall to find her own boyfriend. Katie sighed and turned around, only to find Robbie standing there with a smile on his face as he leaned against the bed post with his arms crossed.

Robbie: Enjoying the show, you creep?

Katie blushed from embarrassment before Robbie walked over and hugged her.

Robbie: Hey, babe.

Katie: Hey. You look like you had a good fight.

Robbie: Yeeeeah. Long story. I think I'm gonna take today off. After the Galactus fight, I'm gonna take a few weeks off. Maybe we can get married. I'm gonna go change. You want to check out the festival?

Katie: Yeah. Sounds good.

Robbie kissed her head before turning back to his room. Katie smiled a bit before she caught what he said.

Katie: Married?

Sam: The Festival of the Gods. This planet holds one once a cycle, which is like 2 years Earth time, and they use it to celebrate the Old Ones. Kinda like a jazz festival.

Robbie: How the fuck is this like a jazz festival?

Sam: I, I dunno.

Everyone had gathered in the main plaza of the capital. Of course, you had to explain the whole situation regarding the three kids that you had yet to meet.

Cindy: This is pretty cool though. It's been a while since I've gone to something like this.

Y/N: Yeah. Me to. The last one I went to I had to join a fighting tournament to sniff out a traitor to save the princess and ended up as the champion.

Everyone looked at you oddly for a moment.

Nadia: Oh! Yeah, I remember that.

Everyone then looked at her confused. They just shook it off and looked around the decorated city as it's inhabitants walked around happily as they celebrated.

Danny: Well then, why don't we take this chance to celebrate all that we've been through?

Robbie: I am, ok with that idea. Let's go have some fun.

Everyone stood there for a moment awkwardly.

Y/N: I mean, everyone is dating here. How about we all go our own ways for now?

All: Agreed!

Doreen: Look at this dress! Isn't it so cute?!

You watched as the girls looked around one of the many shops within the city. The Queen did say that she would cover all of your expenses, plus you were the god damn king of Asgard and could afford everything in this store without making a dent in your fortune, but you still didn't know how to feel about their shopping spree.

At least they were happy. You were still tired from the fight before but, you were just glad to be with them again. Of course, you wished Felicia and Viv were here as well but you weren't going to complain.

Nadia: Hey, Y/N. How does this look?

You snapped out of your thoughts and looked over to see Nadia wearing a red sundress that made her look, just beautiful. How the fuck did you get so lucky?

Y/N: I love it. It would look much better on the floor though~

You winked as she blushed and Tandy laughed behind you. You even got some laughs from some passerbys.

Nadia: You are a dork, and I love you.

Y/N: I love me to.

Tandy: Oh my god.

Doreen: None of these are made by animal products. Wow. I love this store!

Y/N: It's like that everywhere here. Animals here are seen as holy spirits or something. There was also a legend about some giant sea monster under the water to which, let me just say, is fucking terrifying to think about.

Tandy: Uh, yeah. You're telling me there's a sea monster below us right now?

You nodded as Nadia went to go pay for the dress. With Doreena and Nadia distracted, you moved over to Tandy and gently squeezed her hand. Tandy smiled as she turned her head away. You smirked as you reached up and turned her head to look at you. You then leaned in and planted your lips on hers to give her a kiss. Of course, you weren't just going to give your loving wife a peak. You deepened the kiss before someone cleared their throat.

Doreen: Having fun there?

You smiled while Tandy blushed.

Y/N: Yeah, yeah I am.

Doreen: I can tell.

You smiled softly as you placed your hands on her cheeks and kissed her as well.

Y/N: Happy?

Doreen: Mmm...maybe another one.

You happily indulged her wish as you kissed her again. As you parted, you could hear her giggle to herself. Nadia returned to the group and you decided to include her as well. When she got close enough, you grabbed her and dipped her to kiss her which caught her by surprise. Someone cheered from the street and you gave a thumbs up while holding her.

Y/N: Hey.

Nadia: H-Hey.

Robbie: And then I shot him.

Katie: You shot him.

Robbie: Yep.

Katie: Nice.

Katie nudged him as she took another bite from her crepe like food. Robbie had one of his own but he was already mostly done with his.

Robbie: So, how's the battle scar?

Katie rolled her eyes.

Katie: I'll never get to wear a crop top ever again.

Robbie smiled as he threw an arm around her should.

Robbie: Good. I want that all to myself.

Katie pushed him away playfully. Robbie just smiled as he finished his snack and tossed it into a trash bin. Katie suddenly got quiet which Robbie noticed.

Robbie: I'm sure it's not that bad. You can rock a crop top with a scar. Scars are sexy.

Katie: No, I mean, I can but that's not what I'm thinking about.

Robbie: Then tell me what's on your mind birdy.

Katie leaned against his shoulder as the two walked.

Katie: You've been bringing up marriage a lot lately.

Robbie: Oh. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I know that marriage is a bit, off putting to you....

Katie: It's not that! I'm not against marrying you. It's just, I've been thinking about it and, I don't think I'm ready quite yet.

Robbie sighed a breath of relief.

Robbie: Oh. You scared me for a second there. That's absolutely fine.

Katie looked at him surprised.

Katie: Really? You're ok with that?

Robbie shrugged.

Robbie: Yeah. Why wouldn't I be? I mean, we're only 21. I know we've been together for technically 6 years but, I'm not in a rush.

Katie smiled as she kissed his cheek.

Katie: You know, for a tough guy, you're pretty sensitive.

Robbie: Yeah. Only for you though.

He once again placed an arm around her shoulder as she leaned into him.

Danny stood at the railing that overlooked the wide sea at the edge of the city with his hands in his pockets.

Cindy: This is really beautiful.

Danny nodded in response.

Danny: Not as...

Cindy: I swear, if you finish, I will push you over the rail.

Danny: Ahhhhh....crazy how this whole planet is covered in water.

Cindy nodded approvingly as she shifted a bit closer to her lover. Danny just sighed as he ran his fingers across the box in his pocket.

Cindy: So, how goes the training?

Danny: Well enough. We still weren't strong enough to defeat any of the Hearlds though.

Cindy: You can always get them next time. For now, let's just enjoy the festival.

Danny: Yeah. Is there anything you wanted to do in particular?

Cindy: I don't know really. I've never been here before.

Danny laughed a bit.

Danny: I know some spots. There was a cafe thing if you're interested.

Cindy: Coffee? I need to go and see if it's any good.

Danny smiled and held her hand as the two of them walked down the street.

Sam: All I'm saying is, team 4 is at 99% power without Sakura.

Molly: And all I'm saying is, Sakura was a good character.

Sam: I love you but, I'm gonna have to disagree.

The young couple found themselves walking through the crowd while holding hands and talking about things Sam had missed while he was away on his missions.

Molly: Oh, they canceled Lethal Weapon.

Sam: What?! I, am actually ok with that. I missed Riggs.

Molly: Me to. They could've wrapped up his story better.

The two walked for a bit before Sam spotted Peter and Drax hanging ariund the open dance area where Gamora and Mantis were having fun.

Molly: Hey guys!

Peter: Oh. Hey Mini Monster. Space boy. How are you guys enjoying the festival?

Molly: I love it! Everything is so clean, even though everyone is walking around it's not packed, and the music is surprisingly good.

Sam: And the food is good.

Drax: I agree. Though everyone is so happy. I do not like it.

Sam: Who hurt you?

Molly: Why aren't you dancing with Gamora?

Peter: Eh, this isn't my kind of vibe. I prefer the older tunes.

Sam looked at the older man and saw how he watched his beloved dance among the crowd. Molly noticed the flowercrown on her head and smiled. It was always good to see people have fun.

Sam: You wanna dance?

Molly looked at him surprised?

Molly: You want to dance?

Sam: No but, you look like you do.

Molly: What about your arm?

Sam: What about it? Just means I have to follow your lead.

Molly smiled brightly before dragging Sam toward the dancing crowd. Peter watched the two for a moment.

Drax: They remain me of me and my wife.

Peter: Weird?

Drax: Happy.

Peter looked up at his friend and olaced a hand on his shoulder.

Peter: Yeah. They do look happy.

Drax smiled. He was happy to.

In the end, the festival ended up being the break everyone needed. After a somewhat defeat against the Hearlds, you felt relaxed after spending the entire day with your wives. Sam was bit more tired thanks to giving in to Molly's active demands while Robbie and Katie ended up heading back to the guest housing sometime during the day.

In the end, you all ended up meeting back in the city's square to watch the fireworks. As you all traded stories about what you did throughout the day, you all hung around the open area. Since most people were planing on watching from the docks or edge of the city, you and the guys had a plan.

Nadia: It should be starting soon.

You looked to the others and nodded. Much to the girls' surprises, Danny, Sam, Robbie, and you all went "Ultra Form" before grabbing your partners, you pulling triple shift, and flying up to a nearby roof.

Tandy: What are you guys...

Robbie: Better views up here.

Molly: Will we get in trouble.

You just reached your arms out.

Y/N: I'm the King of Asgard and was pretty much hired to save the planet. What are they gonna do?

Doreen: Yeah! Throwing around our titles!

You and Doreen high fived as the others cheered. Everyone moved over to the edge to take a seat. Danny stopped Cindy by gently grabbing her wrist.

Cindy: What's up?

Danny: Can we just, hang back for a bit?

Cindy: Uh, yeah. Of course.

She smiled as he pulled her a bit closer. You sat down between Nadia and Tandy while Doreen sat next to Molly who, in turn, sat next to Sam. Katie leaned on Robbie and you looked over your shoulder to see the final couple standing back.

Nadia: What's up?

You just smiled.

Y/N: Nothing.

You held her hand as the first firework fired off into the sky. As it went off, you could hear the crowd below start to cheer. As you watched the beautiful display, Danny took a deep breath.

Cindy: They're beautiful.

Danny: Not...

Cindy: Mmm...

Danny: As beautiful as you.

Cindy: You are so corny. I love it.

Danny just smiled as his heart raced a bit fast. He was a master of controlling himself and his body but, there was no way to calm down now.

Danny: It's true though. You are, so beautiful. I always thought that. Way back when we first met at school.

Cindy looked at him a bit confused.

Danny: When I first saw you, I know that, deep down, you were going to be the person I was going go fall in love with. Even after you got your powers, I never saw you any different. You're Cindy Moon. The girl I love.

Danny reached into his pocket and grasped the box.

Cidny: I love hearing you compliment me but, what are you doing?

Danny: I'm telling you how I truly feel.

By this point, you had gotten everyone's attention and signaled to the couple as you watched.

Danny: I can't tell you how much I love you. I can't show you either. You're the reason I'm able to get stronger and the reason I'm able to get out of bed everyday with a smile on my face. I love you so much. And, I want to say that to you everyday.

He slowly dropped to one knee as all of you squealed in anticipation. Cindy covered her mouth as Danny pulled out the black box with a simple yet beautiful ring.

Danny: Do, Cindy Moon, will you stay by my side forever as my wife?

Cindy looked over to all of you as you you all nodded. Cindy smiled widely as she nodded.

Cindy: Yes.

Danny: Yes?

Cindy: Yes.

All: YES!

Danny slid the ring onto her finger before standing up and kissing his fiancé. You all cheered over the fireworks.

You all needed this. Come next week, you were all going to be apart of the biggest fight of your lives.

But for now, you were going to enjoy this.

Miguel: So, this is how it all happened?

Arthur: This is, kinda neat.

Jax: Indeed. How do you feel seeing your grandparents?

The fourth, cloaked figure, smirked as she watched her grandparents embrace as Danny spun Cindy around.

???: This is nice. We should get some sleep though.

Miguel: Right.

Jax: You just want us gone so you and Arthur can sneak away.

Arthur: J-Jax!

Miguel: Tell us we're wrong, Gwen.

Gwen just smiled as she turned away with her hands behind her back.

Gwen: Maybe~
