The city of New York was many things. It wasn't, however, very peaceful. This was evident as you sat in the passenger seat of Robbie's car while you were both stuck in traffic.

Robbie: Move the FUCK over!

He hit his horn before he sighed and sat back in the driver seat. You looked at him for a moment before you turned your attention back to your phone.

Robbie: You know, the Rider could just drive through all of this.

Y/N: No powers in public. We got lucky that no one knew about our fight with the Wrecking Crew. Riri did wonderful at hacking into everything.

Robbie mumbled something under his breath as he looked around. He had the time. No one was moving.

Felicia: You should relax. I rather not be in a blazing inferno.

Nadia: I agree with the cat.

You chuckled at your girlfriend/wife's statement. Felicia and Nadia were in the backseat of the car. You were all heading to a meeting spot to meet up with the others of your ragtag group of rebels.

Things have changed dramatically over the last two months. For starters, you learned that you were once a super hero who stopped the end of the universe as you know it. Bad news was, someone or something trapped you and your friends in an endless loop that resets when you all died.

On top of that, there were two fractions beside your own that were working to keep this loop thing a secret from you. The Pact and the Red Room. Luckily, you were able to recruit some others. They included the people in the car, Riri Williams, Laura Kenny, Kate Bishop, Viv Vision, and Doreen Greene. Though, to be fair, you only really trusted four people at the moment.

You rested your head against the window. It had been almost a month since you learned the truth. Things were becoming more increasingly difficult to handle. Honestly, you had plenty of trust issues to go around right now.

Robbie: Can someone text Dorren and tell her that we're gonna be late. You know, cause no one is moving! Fuck!

He hit his wheel again and groaned before he sobbed to himself. You and the girls looked at him for a moment before you pulled out your phone and sent a quick text.

Y/N: Be there a bit late. Traffic. Robbie is crying.

Doreen: KK.

You felt the car start to heat up and you looked over at Robbie. He looked up confused as well and looked back at you. Slowly, you both turned to the backseat where Felicia's eyes were glowing. You, Robbie, and Nadia all scooted away in unison as Felicia slowly took some deep breaths.

That was also something new. Felicia was in possession of the Phoenix force. Some kind of powerful thing from space that apparently killed you in a past timeline.

Y/N: You good, babe?

Felicia finally calmed down and sighed.

Cat: I got it under control. Sorry about that.

Robbie: It's fine. I was the same way with the Rider. It gets easier.

Cat nodded and switched back to Felicia. This was another occasional issue. She has gotten better at keeping the Phoenix under control but it had it's moments. All things considered, she was doing a good job.

It was a visiting weekend but you decided to stay at the dorms with Robbie and Nadia. Oh. And Felicia. Now that Kate was on your side, Robbie has been giving you the room to do....things. You, Nadia, and Felicia have had plenty of time to "catch up" on your relationship as did Robbie and Kate.

It was about 20 minutes later when you finally pulled up to the dinner you all agreed to meet up. It was mostly empty which meant there was no one to listen in on your conversation. You all got out of the car and headed inside. You spotted the others sitting at a table in the corner and you headed over.

Doreen was the first to notice you.

Doreen: Hey! Uh, we didn't order anything yet. We wanted to wait for you guys....

You ignored her and sat in the otherside of the table with Felicia and Laura sitting between the two of you. Robbie and Kate looked at each other but didn't say anything. Robbie knew you were still mad at Doreen and Viv for lying but he also couldn't help but feel bad for the two. You were their husband in a past life, after all.

Y/N: We have important crap to talk about.

Riri: Food is still kinda important.

Y/N: Then get food. I don't give a shit.

Cat: We should focus on how to get everyone back on our side. It won't be easy.

Nadia nodded.

Nadia: In every loop, there was always something preventing us from uniting and defeating whoever placed us in this cycle.

Robbie: So if we get everyone to reunite...

Nadia: I think we'll have a good chance at beating this.

You nodded at the idea. As of right now, it was only you and your group. You needed your team back from the Red Room and this Pact thing Doreen and Viv used to be a part of. Unfortunately, it seemed that your family was also involved in all of this.

Y/N: We'll have to get started soon or we might lose them permanently. I rather not die and have to restart the cycle.

Nadia: You and me both.

Viv: We can communicate with those involved with the Pact.

Doreen: Yeah. We can convince them.

Kate: Everyone in the Red Room is already on our side. We just need them to admit it.

While everyone talked about the different ways they could convince the others, you sighed and grabbed your head. Another headache. These seemed to be a common occurrence these days. You groaned and drank some water that was already on the table.

Robbie: You okay, man?

You nodded and looked out the window. Ever so slightly, it shifted. Almost like an echo. Like a mirror being shook.

Felicia and Nadia watched your for a moment before you sipped on your water again.

Laura watched with a nervous glare. You weren't being yourself. You were paranoid which made sense given the circumstances.

She just hoped you were okay.

Visions Academy was once a place of hope and ambition for you. This was once upon a time. Not any more.

The entire city was now a huge chessboard and you were one of the pieces. However, you were the hand that was playing your side.

It didn't take a genius for you to know that you were nowhere as powerful as you were before. The blessings you gathered were gone. No Godslayer Mode, no Monster Mode, not even your Berserker Mode. You just had the basic powers you started with and one new one.

And as you sat in your classroom, surrounded by people you once trusted, you found yourself wondering if you could really trust anyone besides Laura and Robbie. Felicia and Cat seemed too quick to trust the others and give them a second chance and Nadia knows more than what she was saying. Rather that was on purpose or not was a mystery to you. Of course, she did say that if she revealed too much too early, it could cause you all to go mad.

What a fucked up game you found yourself in.

On top of everything else, you remembered your daughter. The same one that was now missing but somewhere in the universe. Waiting for you to save her.

Widow: Y/N?

You snapped out of your thoughts and looked to your teacher and leader of the Red Room. Actually, the entire class was looking at you.

Widow: Are you alright? You're looking a bit pale.

You nodded.

Y/N: I'm fine. Just, tired.

That wasn't very convincing, but you honestly couldn't care at this point. Widow hesitated but went on with her lesson as you laid your head on your desk.

You were tired, that part wasn't a lie. You found it harder to sleep in the recent days. It wasn't going to be much longer before you confronted your friends and family about the truth. The God awful truth.

Gwendolyn: Psst.

You looked up at her without lifting your head.

Gwendolyn: Wanna go skateboard later?

You shook your head and went back to closing your eyes. You wanted to get your thoughts in check. Focus on what was important first. You needed to get your head in the game and be at you best if you were going to beat this new enemy. Or maybe it was an old one.

Miles: Hey, man. You got a pencil I could borrow?

You shook your head again. You slowly opened your eyes and saw that Widow's lesson was over meaning everyone was either working on their homework or chatting about random nonsense. Why? Why were they even bothering with all of this?

They knew this was a loop and that none of this stuff mattered. So, why? Why are they pretending like everything was normal?

Danny: Y/N, my friend. Are you alright?

Kamala: Yeah. You seriously look sick.

Gwen: I got some headache pills if you want one.

Shut up.

Quentin: M-Maybe you should g-go lay down for a b-bit.

Kitty: Dude, have you been eating? You look a bit thinner.

Eli: Need some water? I can go get one real quick.

Tandy: Have you been sleeping enough? I wouldn't be surpised if you said no.

Sam: Maybe he stayed up too late watching Anime.

Tyrone: Let's go get some food at lunch. Maybe that'll help.

Widow: Are you sure you're alright? You can go to the nurse's office if you need to.

Felicia: Y/N?

Robbie: Hey, you alright?

Nadia: Hey, take a breath.

Elise: Daddy?

You shot up from your desk which caught everyone off guard. Without saying anything, you rushed out of the room and headed down the hall as fast as you could. You made it to the bathroom and barely made it in time to throw up in the toilet.

Your stomach hurt. Your head was spinning. It felt like the worst hangover you had ever experienced and it wasn't stopping. None of this was stopping.

You puked again and found yourself on your knees while you held onto the toilet. You gaged as someone else entered the room.

Robbie: Holy shit, dude!

He rushed over to you and kneeled down to check in on you.

Robbie: Hey, you alright?

You shook your head.

Y/N: I, my head. It hurts. I, I can't keep doing this. Pretending like everything okay. I....

You gaged again and turned back to the toilet to throw up. You've never been sick like this before. Never had to hug a toilet to make sure you didn't throw up on the floor.

Robbie placed a hand on your back and rubbed circles while you tried to catch your breath.

Robbie: That's it. You need to go home.

Y/N: I can't. My mom and dad...

Robbie: We don't know what your parents are doing. Whatever it is, it seemed to be for you. Go home. Take a few days off. Rest. You're no good to us if you're fuckibg dying. Me and Laura can handle things here for a bit.

You wanted to protest, but he had a point. You needed to get back at full strength and that wasn't happening with you dying like this.

Y/N: Fine. Fine.

Robbie helped you up and you washed off at the sink. Looks like you were going to go home.

You stood in front of your house with your bag in your hand. The subway ride here was brutal and you just wanted to go to sleep for a few days. You had called your parents earlier to tell them that you were going to be home, Widow had approved, but you were still hesitant to go inside.

Your mom was dead in your original timeline. They were both working with the Red Room and the Pact. Even your little sister, Molly, was with the Pact. For what reason? You had no idea.

But you needed to be here. You needed to rest.

So you knocked in the door.

It didn't take long for it to open and reveal your mother standing there with a worried look. She saw your face and immediately hugged you.

Elise: You okay?

You hugged her back.

Y/N: I'm just, so tired.

Your mom let go of you and helped you into the house. Your dad was still at work so he wouldn't be home until Molly was. That was fine. You had a plan. It was a stupid one, but it was a plan.

Elise: Go sleep. I'll make some soup for you and you can....

YN: Mom?

Your mom looked at you as you stood there.

Y/N: When everyone is here, I need to tell you guys something.

Your mom looked confused but nodded.

Elise: Okay. Go rest up, hun. Your dad will be home in the afternoon.

You nodded and headed up the stairs. Once you were in your room, you tossed your bag down and kicked off your shoes. You shuffled over to your bed and dropped face first onto it. Slowly, you pulled your blankets over you as you shivered.

Why were you suddenly this sick? Why was this suddenly an issue?

You heard your phone go off and you pulled it out. You tossed it aside and rolled over so you were facing the wall. You started to doze off while your phone went crazy with texts and miss call. Slowly, you fell asleep.

Cletus: Well look at what we have here.

Y/N: Venom?

Venom: Carnage.

You quickly leaped out of the way as Carnage attacked again. You thought you were in the clear but were instead greeted with a sharp pain. You were thrown into a wall. He had cut deep into your side. It was healing somewhat but not as fast as you would have liked. Venom helped you up and covered the wound so it could heal properly.

Carnage: I was looking forward to this since your ruined my plan.

Y/N: The one that involved killing a lot of innocent people?!

Carnage: That's the one. The momentI saw you I knew you were special. When I saw you throw that bag I knew I had to be the one to KILL YOU!

He lunged at you again with the intent to kill. You jumped out of the way to avoid being hit. You attempted to hit him with a flame but Carnage was quick to attack you again. You felt yourself get impaled in several different places. You collapsed on the floor with blood spewing out everywhere. You picked yourself back up and felt your wounds heal.

Carnage: Oh? Seems that you can heal. This will be even more fun!

He continued to swipe even more and you tired to dodge as much as you could but still got cut up. You popped out your claws and ignited them. You managed to cut one of his tentacles only for another to hit you.

Carnage: You have so many goodies to show me. Show me more!

You attempted to leap out of the way but found yourself losing too much blood. Venom did his best to cover your wounds but he could only do so much. Carnage eventually swipped your leg causing you to fall. He was quick to leap on you. His mouth got dangerously close.

Carnage: I like your scent. Your blood excites me. I want more. I want it inside of me.

Y/N: Sorry but not today. Or ever for that manner!

You stabbed your claw through him causing him to scream out in pain. You managed to kick him off of you with your strength before standing back up. Most of your body was covered with Venom but the your arm was covered in fire.

Y/N: This is rough.

Venom: Carnage isss my offssspring. Hisss hossst isss asss bloodthirssssty asss he isss.

Y/N: I couldn't tell.

Carnage stood back up.

Carnage: I am going to tear your skin off of you and eat every single piece of you muscle by muscle!

Yikes. You felt some of your wounds heal fully so Venom slowly let go. Your bloodlost was also a bit better now. Maybe you can do this. Carnage leaped at you and you managed to slice his arm. He managed to slam his fist into your side which caused you to slam against the wall. You spat out some blood before standing back up. You were leaning against the wall.

Carnage: You can heal fast but I can slice you faster!

You dodged another blow only to run right into one of his claws. He used this chance to slice you even more. Venom did his best to cover you but he wasn't able to cover every cut. One of his claws slice right through you gut which cut it right open. Venom was quick to cover it before your guts could fall out. You fell to the ground while Venom covered all of you. Carnage didn't let up.

Carnage: Yes! Bleed! Bleed! Show me more of your blood! That sweet sweet blood! Die die die die!

You were unable to do anything as he continued to beat down on you. You felt his claws begin to cut through Venom and scrap against your skin.

Carnage: DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!

You tried to hold it off but you were slowly losing it. Your eyes shot open and you began to growl like an animal. Electricity covered your body before your feet ignited. Carnage watched as you suddenly vanished from his sight.

Carnage: What?!

You appeared behind him and delivered a kick to his head. You began to freeze his legs before you broke them with your claws. You vanished again and reappeared with an arm covered in electricity. You slammed it down onto Carnage who cried out in pain. You continued to vanish and reappear all around him to deliver blows.

Carnage finally leaped up to get away from you. You simply stood there covered in your own blood. Carnage looked down at you.

Carnage: This isn't over. I will taste your blood again.

He climbed to the roof of the building and ran off. You were about to give chase when you were suddenly hit with the pain from your wounds. You ended up collapsing to your knees before coughing up blood.

You sat up and gasped for breath. You grabbed your chest and tried to calm down the best you could. You could feel your heart race as the image of Carnage  flashed through your head.

You slowly calmed down but you couldn't get his face out of your head. The memories of facing him with Venom came to mind and how you lost him. Sure, Venom survived, but you still remembered the pain that came with it.

How weak you were then.

How weak you are now.

You heard a knock on your door and you turned to see it cracking open. Your dad poked his head in and looked at you.

Victor: Oh, you're awake. How're you feeling?

He opened the door and stepped in while you rubbed your head.

Y/N: Sick as a dog.

Victor closed the door behind him and walked over to the bed. He sat at the edge and you felt the entire bed shift under his massive weight.

Victor: What's going on, kid? Your mom said you wanted to talk about something.

It was rare to see your dad ever concerned. He was a damn good father but he liked to leave you and Molly to figure things out.

Y/N: Yeah. I just want everyone to be there. You, mom, and Molly. I need to talk to you guys.

Victor nodded.

Victor: Alright. Well, come down stairs and get some soup. Molly is doing her homework. We can talk.

He patted your arm and stood up. You followed him and headed downstairs.

Sure enough, Molly was at the dinner table doing her homework, bored out of her mind. When she saw you, there face lit up. She got out if her chair and rushed over to you to crush you in a hug.

Molly: Are you alright? Sam said that you just left class and that you looked sick. Have you been sleeping well? Did you eat something bad?

You gently pried her off of you and smiled.

Y/N: I just, I need to talk to you guys about something important.

Elise: Alright. Take a seat and we can talk.

You shook your head.

Y/N: No. I....I just want to say this and get this over. No beating around the bush.

Your parents looked at you but Victor nodded.

Victor: Alright. Out with it.

You took a deep breath and clenched your fists. You looked at your parents and sighed.

Y/N: I know. I know about everything. About the loop, about the Pact and the Red Room, and about you all knowing.

Victor and your mom looked at each other while Molly looked like a kid that was caught red handed.

Molly: Oh.

Victor: How long have you known?

Y/N: Almost two months now.

Elise: How much do you know?

You sighed.

Y/N: Everything.

Felicia was sitting on her bed with a book when Kate walked in. The dark haired girl nodded as a greeting before she tossed her bag in the corner.

Kate: Hey, Party Hardy.

Felicia: Hey.

Cat: Hello.

Kate looked at the girl for a moment.

Kate: I'm gonna have to get used to that again. So, any word on Y/N?

Felicia shook her head as she picked up her phone. She had been trying to reach you since you dissapered. Robbie had told her that you went home, like home home, cause you were sick. She couldn't remember a time when you were actually sick outside of when you were infected with the Anti-Cells.

Kate: I'm sure he'll be okay. Maybe he needs this rest. It has been kinda crazy, lately.

Felicia: Yeah. I just, hope he's okay.

Gwendolyn: Me too!

The two girls screamed at the sudden appearance of the third girl who was now standing in the middle of the room.

Kate: Gwen!

Gwendolyn: Present!

Felicia: What are you doing?!

Gwendolyn: I just swung by to say hey......Hey.

Kate shook her head while Gwendolyn stood there like a bad bitch.

Kate: You can't just barge into people's rooms.

Gwendolyn: You can when you're me. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if I can join your guys' team.

Felicia and Kate looked at each other.

Felicia: Uh, how do you know about that?

Gwendolyn: I know a lot of things. Like your bra sizes.

Felicia: What...

Gwendolyn: Felicia wears a D 39 and Kate wears a C 48.

Kate: How...

Gwendolyn: Cause I just know shit, Kate. I know a lot of things about a lot of people. I know when Robbie lost his virginity, when Sam and Molly first kissed, what kind of lingerie Widow wears, that Viv is actually a robot, I know that everyday at 6:43 PM Danny likes to take a shower, and I know that you have a secret team that is working to take down both the Pact and the Red Room then go on and take down the one responsible for trapping us in this endless loop.

The two girls looked at Gwendolyn with expressions of horror, fear, curiosity, amazement, puzzlement, and slightly arosed.

Kate: Ah....

Gwendolyn: So can I join? If you say no, Kate, I will send Y/N the nudes you sent Robbie and, Felicia, I will send Robbie the nudes you're going to send Y/N.

Felicia: How you have those?!

Gwendolyn: Cause I'm a boss!

You sat at the table with a bowl of soup in front of you as your family took in the information. You told them about everything you had learned and what you could remember.

Molly: I'm sorry.

Y/N: I don't blame you. If I got everything right, Mom and Dad probably told you not to say anything.

Elise: That's true. As for everything else, yes. We hid it from you. Of course I'm sure you know why.

You nodded.

Y/N: Cause Steve and Thor collapsed when they found out before they got their memories back.

Victor: But when we learned that Marc had created the Pact in order prevent anyone from fighting whoever is causing this, we joined them. Not because we wanted to hide everything, but so they wouldn't go after you.

Elise: Whe the Red Room was created, we started working with them as well in order to help them uncover the truth. We betrayed our own to help Reed and expose the truth to everyone who could remember.

Y/N: So, you were just waiting for me to remember so that I could, what? Help you guys?

Victor shook his head. He sighed as he looked at you.

Victor: The only thing we ever wanted was for you to live a happy life. In doing so, we were blinded by the truth. You had a happy life. You had a family of your own. You deserve to have that back.

Molly: Yeah! I want my sister in laws back!

You grinned a bit before you looked at your mom.

Y/N: You were, dead. If I beat this guy and return everything to normal then...

Elise: It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for you. I got my happily ever after. I have it now.

You looked down at the soup before you nodded.

Y/N: So, you guys have my back?

Victor: Always.

Elise: Whatever you need.

Molly: Hell yeah! Let's go break some faces!

You slowly nodded.

Y/N: Then, is it okay, if I stay here for a few days? Just so I can gather myself up before I confront the others?

Victor smiled.

Victor: Of course. Take all the time you need, son.

You smiled.

Y/N: Thank you.
