Emilia
Air blew at me as I walked down the street opposite side from the Grill. A huff escaped me as I skipped down the street and walked to the Grill. My phone buzzes in the back of my pocket and a groan escapes me as I roll my eyes. I pull my phone out just as I pull open the door.
Where are you? You're taking forever.
I locked my phone and stepped inside through the door and walked into the Grill. My eyes instantly scanned the area for the person in search, the person asked to meet me here.
"You're here." He whispers in my ear and I jump, a small scream escaping me. "Jumpy." He chuckles as I turn around and glare at him. "Why am I here?" I ask, raising an eyebrow impatiently.
"I got you a gift."
"Why?"
"Because you deserve it." Klaus mumbles, smiling at me. "Hah! Heard that one before." I mutter, my face blank as I follow him to the bar. "We need to talk first." Klaus adds, sliding on the stool as I sit beside him, leaning my arms forward on the bar.
"Slip 'n' slide with cherry vodka, lemonade, and lots of lime juice." Klaus says to the bartender and my head snaps towards him, my eyes wide.
"You know my mix?"
"I know everything about you, princess." He mutters, smiling with a glint in his eyes. "I was told that you've been watching me." I whisper, narrowing my eyes at him.
"Yeah, eight years if you count this one."
"Hmmm, stalker alert." I mumble, sighing as he laughs, his laugh echoing the place. I snort and roll my eyes at him as the bartender slides my drink towards Klaus.
"It's for the lady." Klaus says, motioning to me. "Give it to her then." The bartender mutters before he turns around, leaving but Klaus wraps his hand around the guy's bicep.
"Give it to her and apologize." Klaus orders, compelling him. "Klaus-" I protest but stop when the bartender slides the drink towards me, sending me a shaky smile.
"I'm sorry, sir."
"Not to me."
The bartender turns to me and smiles apologetically. "I'm sorry about my manners earlier." I nod, pursing my lips as Klaus lets his arm go.
"Go now."
The bartender walks away as Klaus sits back on his stool. He turns to me snd sends me a smile but I turn my head away. "What did you want to talk to me about?" I ask, playing with the dry sugar that was around the brim of the glass.
"You know the sacrifice is today, right?"
"Yup." I reply, pulling the slice lime from the brim of the glass. "Are you afraid?" He asks and I shake my head as I dig my teeth into the lemon while he stares at me.
I scrunch my face up at the strong sour taste as strange noises come out of me. Klaus chuckles and I regain my composure, wiping the lime juice from my chin.
"I'll send you a text for you to meet me, okay?"
"Okay." I respond and he stands up from his stool. I clear my throat and take a gulp of my drink. "Oh and," Klaus stops and turns to me, "If you don't show up then I'm afraid that we'd have to play it the hard way."
"I'll show up."
"You better." Klaus replies before he leaves the Grill, my eyes still trailing on him. "Weird guy." I mutter to myself, finishing my drink in one gulp.
"Twelve dollars." The bartender says to me as I slam my glass down on the bar. My eyes widen, "He didn't pay?" The bartender shakes his head and I grumble, "What a gentleman."
I slam twenty dollars on the counter before I storm out of the Grill, my eyes trailing on the soon to be full moon as I walk down the street with the cold air breeze.

"I can't believe he trusts you!"
"I can't believe that you can't believe that he trusts me!"
"You're not trustable."
"Says the guy who purposely fed my sister blood."
"I saved her life."
"You ruined her life! She was hella good as DiCaprio but then you had to ruin it all!"
"For the last time. I saved her life!"
"For the last time, Damon, you ruined it!"
Damon's chest rose up and down along his heavy breathing as his nose flared while he glared at me. I clenched my jaw as my fists balled while I tried to keep in my temper.
A short silence fell upon us while we stared at each other, containing our anger before we ended up ripping each other into shreds.
"I can't believe he trusts you!"
"Oh. My. God!"
I stomp away, taking deep breaths as I clench and unclench my fists repeatedly. "I can't believe I'm taking a werecoyote to save another werewolf and a vampire on a full moon." Damon mutters as we walk through the woods.
"You and Caroline are named dead." I respond, clicking my tongue. "Wonderful. Can't wait." Damon says, sarcastically. He then asks once again, "Remind me again why Klaus trusts you?"
"Nope. So not having this fight again." I scoff, stopping when I spot the smirking witch who stands in front of us. "Which one are you trying to save? The blond, or the wolf? Did you really think Klaus would leave them unprotected?" He asks, chuckling.
"Wishful thinking." Damon mutters before he speeds towards him. Maddox casts a spell on him causing Damon to fall down on the floor, clutching his head. Suddenly, there's gun shot as Maddox falls to the floor.
My eyes widen as I look behind me to see Matt with a rifle that points at Maddox. "Matt? What are you doing here?" I ask, shock evident in my voice.
"Where's Caroline?"
Damon speeds towards Matt and knocks him out by the butt of the rifle. Matt falls to the floor conscious and I roll my eyes, sighing.
"Let's go." I mutter before running down the stairs to the tomb. "Wait, so that's it?He just texts you and you meet him?" Damon asks, changing back to our old subject as I place my hands on the rock sliding door of the tomb.
I hum in response as I wrap my fingers on the small gap between the door and the wall. "And where are you supposed to meet him?" He asks as I grunt while I pull on the door.
"Hell."
"What if you don't show up?"
"Then we'd have to play it the hard way." I mock Klaus while I pull on the heavy door. "A little help here, gentleman?" I ask, sending him a fake smile.
"You can handle it. You're a big girl."
"And you have a big dick in your ego."
Damon snorts as I slide the door open, stopping it when a small gap appears, enough for us to fit in. I sigh and rub my hands while I step into the dark tomb.
Damon follows inside as I slowly walk deeper into the tomb, my hands in front of me incase I bump into something. It was oddly quite as I continued walking, the only thing I hear are my own footsteps.
"Boo!" A screech escapes me as I jump, my hand jumping to my heart. Damon's wholehearted laugh echoes through the tomb as I take big nervous gulps, my hands shaking from the aftermath.
"You sure are tough for a werecoyote."
"Asshole." I mutter, glaring at him. "I'm not an asshole." Damon replies, smirking at me. "I'm not a proctologist, but I know an asshole when I see one." I mutter, glaring at him through the dark before I continue walking.
A scream escapes me when I trip and fall forward, but Damon speeds in front of me and catches me just in time before I crashed to the floor. I clutched onto his button up silky black shirt while he tightened his arm around my waist.
Deep breaths escape me as I stare up at him, well his shadow. He takes a large inhale as he helps me stand on my feet. "I'd say thank you but then I'd be lying." I mutter after an awkward silence.
Thankfully, Damon snorted while I stepped away from him. "Moon's coming out. We gotta save them before it's too late." Damon replies as we both continue to walk into the tomb.
We stop when we spot two figures chained to the wall. "Damon? Emilia?" Caroline asks, confusion lacing her voice. "Shush." I hiss, walking towards Tyler as Damon walks to Caroline.
"Moon's coming up, can you hold it?" I ask, my voice low as I break the chain from around Tyler. "Yeah, if I get to the cellar in time." Tyler replies as I help him stand up by an offer of my hand.
"Don't make me regret this." I say to Tyler before we all walk out of the tomb. We walk out the tomb and up the stairs when suddenly a grunt escapes me while I fall onto the floor.
Tyler groans and falls to the floor while I clutch onto a tree, grunts of pain escaping me. My phone buzzes in my back pocket as sweat starts dripping down my face.
I struggle to pull out my phone but I end up pulling it out and I stare at the text message.
Quarry.
That's all it said and I knew that it was the place where I was supposed to meet him. I stood up to my feet and walked painfully to the other side of the woods.
"Emilia, where are you going?" Damon asks, speeding in front of me. "I have to go." I whimper, groaning. "No, you can't! I won't let you go." Damon says and before I could say anything, Caroline screams.
Damon speeds towards her and pushes Tyler off of her, causing Tyler to jump on Damon. I take this as a chance to escape and I do.
I limp towards the Quarry and my eyes widen when I spot fire. I grunt as I walk faster to it but the pain of the moon keeps fighting in me.
"I put a spell on you to slow your transformation." A girl says, holding me by the arm as she drags me out of the woods.
I groan as we come out from behind the trees and my eyes widen at the sight in front of me. Elena, Jenna, and Jules all sit on the ground with a fire circle around them.
Suddenly, Klaus stands in front of me with a smile on his face. He pushes a sweaty strand off of my face as I stare up at him, words not capable of coming out.
"Are you ready, my princess?"
