Emilia
Surprisingly I woke up from the bright sun that was shining square at my face. It took my 2 seconds before I realized that I still was in a coyote form and I was sleeping like a damn dog.
It was my second full moon and I had turned into a coyote, something that didn't happen in the first full moon. I was confused yet I was still a coyote when it's now 4 hours after the full moon.
Unfortunately, I wasn't only starving but also thirsty. I used my hearing senses to walk over to the pond of cold freezing water. It was also the same pond I got drowned in.
It was disgusting drinking from the dirty pond but I was an animal, and animals tend to do things that humans would never do.
I leaned down and drank from the cold yet dirty water. It still covered my thirsty instincts, and I also continued the meal with the raw fish.
Later, I was sauntering through the woods for more food later tonight. Yet there was this feeling inside of me, telling me that someone is following me.
I checked around me a few times but no one was discovered. That is until I spotted Katherine Pierce standing beside a tree, her arms crossed with a smirk on her face.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Miss Gilbert, stuck in a coyote, lost in the woods, with no one to help her. How unfortunate." I growled at the bitch and she chuckled, "Easy there, wolfy!"
I sneered at her and she was making me furious by the second. "It's so great to run into you." Katherine said, smirking.
I wish I had the language to speak but I was a damn animal, and the only way I threatened her were with my fearless sneers.
"How was last night?"
That was it! I growled and jumped at her but she sped away and stood behind me. I turned around to face her but she sped away and stopped behind me. I turned around and she sped back.
Son of a bitch! I growled as I stopped in the middle, her on my right. "It's so sad, your life. Your friends are trying to find you and you're just here eating flesh and drinking blood. It's called bloodlust, it's when you crave blood like you can't live without it. I have it all the time and it's the best feeling ever."
I sneered and jumped on her, flashing my fangs at her. She laughed and punched my stomach, sending me flying to a tree. I hit the tree and fell on the floor, whimpering. I didn't know how to fight in a coyote form but I still tried.
But when I turned around, she was already gone. My side hurt like a botch and I limped through the woods. I forgot where the cave was and I just limped, feeling so weak.
I whimpered and leaned against a tree. I didn't know a punch was going to hurt that bad. It was just a punch and I was supposed to heal like a snap of a finger. But I feel it forming into a bruise.
I continued my limping but stopped when I saw Damon roaming the woods. I froze and took a step back, hoping he wouldn't sense me. But the leaves crunched under me when I took a step back, and his head snapped towards my direction.
Damon narrowed his eyes at me and I wanted to sprint away, but I was too weak. "Okay, it's either I'm hallucinating or that is a coyote." He said to himself and took a step towards me.
When he got closer, he gaze into my eyes and it felt weird. A vampire staring into a coyote's eyes, expect it felt like he was staring at my soul.
Confusion settled on his face before he groaned, "Please don't tell me you're Emilia." He whispered, biting his fist. I just tilted my head and took a step forward, hoping he knew that was a yes.
"Oh god," He muttered, running his fingers through his hair. "You're coming with me. Actually," He said, wrapping his arm around my waist to carry me. I groaned loudly when he touched the forming bruise and he instantly let me go.
"You're hurt." Damon whispers, looking at me concern. I looked down and he sighed, "We have to take you home."
No shit, sherlock!
"Can you follow me? Your house is close." He asks and I nodded, whimpering. "Ok." He whispers, standing up and started walking. I limped behind him and he made his pace slower. "You have a lot of explaining to do." He said, looking down at me.
"We thought you were dead. I mean, there's nothing else to think when you see a puddle of blood in the kitchen floor. How dare you run away? You scared the hell out of me. We looked for you everyday, expect this time Stefan, Elena, and I went separate ways. You also have to explain how this," He motioned to my body, "happened."
I laughed in my head besides the pain as we came out onto the road that separate the woods and my house's back door. It was literally scary since our backyard was connected to the woods.
I sighed in relief as Damon opened the back door for me and I stepped inside. "Are you kidding me?" He laughed, staring down at the dirt paw marks on the wooden floor. I suddenly froze and looked at Damon. "What?" He asks, raising a question.
I wanted to ask him if Jenna or Jeremy were here but he just shooed me upstairs. I groaned and walked up the stairs, into the hall and finally to my room. Damon followed inside and closed the door as I laid down on my carpet.
Damon took out his phone and dialed, pressing the phone to his ear. "Brother, I found Emilia. Call Elena and come to her house, Emilia's bedroom." He then listened to the other line before he scoffed, "Of course she's okay."
I glared at him as he hung up and he looked at me, "What?"
He then sighed, "I want them to drive safe. Plus you look okay, other than you're hurt and that you're not human. But it's okay, it happens to everyone."
Yeah right, he was spoon feeding me lies and I was throwing them out.
Damon kneeled beside me, "Don't worry, we're gonna get you back to normal. Bonnie will do it, if of course she has a spell that can. But other than that, you'll be fine."
Wow, comforting Damon. Thanks for the pep talk.
Just then, the door of my room flew open and the couple came tumbling in. "Where is sh-" Elena stopped mid-way when she saw me. Stefan froze beside her and his eyes widened. "Where's Emilia?" Elena asks, looking at Damon.
"Right in front of you."
Elena scoffed, "Damon, stop playing games and tell me where my sister is."
"I'm not playing games, Elena." He said, "But if you want me to clarify. Then Emilia, this is Elena. Elena, this is Emilia." He introduced and he earned a glare from his brother.
"Emilia?" Elena whispers, looking down at me. "Why is she a coyote?" Stefan asks and Elena gasps. "I don't know, but she's also hurt." Damon answers and Stefan glares at him, "You said she was okay."
I turned down their bickering as Elena kneeled down in front of me. "There's so many questions I want to ask you, and you have a lot of explaining to do. But first, we have to get you back and healthy."
That's exactly what Damon said, in his own saying.
"So, how do you plan on brining her back?" Elena asks, looking at Damon. "Bonnie." He answers. "What will Bonnie do?" Stefan asks. "Maybe there's a spell that can change coyote's into human, there's got to be."
"What if there isn't?"
Damon paused and looked down at me, "Then we look for other ways."
"Of course, we weren't suggesting to give up on her. She's my sister, there's no way I'd give up on her. I wouldn't even think of it." Elena says, looking down sadly at me.
My eyes drooped and Elena took a white blanked from on top of my bed. She placed it on me and the last thing I heard was, "I love you." With a kiss on my head, before sleep consumed me to a dream of yells and fights.
