Emilia
Plans that involve murder are always the best, especially when you're killing an enemy. It's exciting and scary at the same time because you don't know what's going to happen. It's exciting because you have a feeling it's going to work, and that all that torture is going to stop. Scary because things might take a turn and somebody important might end up dead, or simply the plan would fail.
I had millions of enemies back in the days. Well, school enemies. Y'know, those bitches who think they're better than everyone. The bitches that has a glittery phone, always wears pink, captain of the cheer team, blond hair, two minions, a jock boyfriend, and a pink pepper spray in her pink purse.
Is the world out of it's mind to let those kind of people in? I mean, what's their purpose in life? To go around and bullying people and giving an odd image of themselves. They're making a fool of themselves.
Hold up, how did the subject change from plans to Regina George?
Let's start over with the enemies, not the ones in my middle school years. I had one enemy yesterday, I have one enemy today, and I will have one enemy tomorrow. Thing is, that enemy is Katherine Pierce. Yeup, my favorite bitch.
Damon, Stefan, Alaric, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, and I had a plan to kill Katherine for once and for all. Nobody had a specific job, expect Alaric who has to distract Elena. Yeup, my own flesh doesn't know about the plan.
The rest of us had to just pretend like we were just normal people in a Masquerade Ball who were happy and had no idea what the supernatural was. Someone would ask us, "Are you aware of the supernatural?" And we go like, "What the fück is a supernatural?"
That made it sound like I was innocent, right? Right?
I shook my head at my stupid thoughts and looked around the room at everyone. We were all seated on the couch in the Salvatore house as we went over the plan. I was sitting criss crossed on the leather couch with Damon in my right and Caroline in my left.
"Are you sure you guys don't want me there tonight?" Alaric asks, looking around the room. "No, I need you to stay with Elena. I don't want her to know about this." Stefan answers, sighing. "Y'know what's funny." I say and they all ask, "What?"
"You guys are trusting me to keep a secret, a secret, from my own sister."
"Yeah, how are we trusting her? Emilia is like the snitcher of the snitches." Caroline added and I nodded, "She is 100% correct."
"Ok, so don't talk to Elena all day." Damon suggests, shrugging. "Oh, and I'm supposed to wear a garbage bag? Plus, even if it's 100 years later, I'd still tell her." I replied.
"Well then, don't tell her?"
"And do what, stitch my lips together?"
"Well yeah, or you can just not tell her."
"Oh, my god. How about you just wrap me in a garbage bag and take me out to the garbage truck, huh?"
"Oh yeah, why didn't I think of that?"
"Oh, my god!"
"Would you two stop bickering like 4 year olds?" Caroline broke it off while Damon and I crossed our arms and looked away from each other, pouting. "Anyways, I'll make sure Elena doesn't leave my sight." Alaric reassures Stefan.
"Alright, if anybody wants to back out, I'll understand." Stefan says, looking at all of us. "Yeah, cold feet speak now. I don't want this going wrong if someone chicken's out." Damon began before he looked at Caroline, "Caroline."
"I won't. Look, she killed me. Fair's fair. As long as there's no werewolf running around." Caroline replied and I gawked at her. "Y-You're a werecoyote, Emilia." Caroline says, her face awkward.
"I took care of Mason."
"As long as Tyler doesn't kill anyone, he won't turn." Jeremy added. "Bonnie? Are you with us?" Stefan asks and we all turn to look at my best friend. There was a long pause as she looked around us all, deciding whether to help along or not.
"But no one gets hurt."
"Except Katherine. Tonight Katherine gets a stake through her heart." Damon adds. "Hey, how about I stake her?" I ask, suggesting. The six of them grumbled a, "No."
♡ ♡ ♡
"These heels are killing me." I groaned, clenching my toes in the black heels I wore. "Do you want to switch shoes?" Damon suggested and I couldn't help but laugh at the image. "Do you guys see her?" Stefan asks, looking at the Lockwood Mansion.
"Nope."
"You guys sure you can do this?" Stefan asks, looking at Damon and I. "Who are you talking to?" Damon said while I said, "If I get to stake her, I'm sure I'd even nail it."
Both brothers rolled their eyes at me and I shrugged innocently. "I had the chance to kill her and I hesitated." Stefan suddenly says. "Well that is the fork in the road between you and me my friend. I don't hesitate." Damon replied.
"You spent 145 years loving her, it could happen."
"I won't hesitate."
"Okay."
Damon nodded and walked towards the mansion's big doors. I stepped closer to Stefan as we both looked at Damon god. "He's going to hesitate." I whisper to him and he nods, "Yeah."
He offers me his arm and I entwine mine with his. We walk to the doors and once we get in I just smell fragrances. Different types of fragrances. Fragrances that had me sneezing a lot while Stefan patted my back awkwardly.
"You go, I'm going to find Damon." I shooed him away and he looked at me concerned, "Are you sure?"
"Yeup." I replied, nodding and he smiled slightly before he walked away. I tickled my nose and adjusted my lace mask. I adjusted my black short dress and walked into the ballroom, instantly feeling insecure.
My brown wavy hair bounced on my shoulder as I walked to Damon who was leaning against the wall as he scanned the room with a glass of whiskey in his hand. I rolled my eyes and stopped in front of him, crossing my arms. He raised a questioning eyebrow and moved away from he wall, standing straight in front of me.
"Let's dance." I simply said, offering him my hand. He looked down at my hand before looking up at my face. He did the action for a few minutes before he placed his empty glass down. "Why not." He said and I smiled as he slipped his hand in mine, his warmth instantly spreading.
I gripped his hand as he maneuvered between the dancing couples, dragging me gently behind him. He stopped in an empty spot and I gasped when he pulled my hand towards him, causing me to stumble to his chest. My ankle twisted to the side and my knees buckled, but Damon wrapped a protective around my waist and held me up straight.
I swatted him across the chest and he laughed, the voice making my heart to flutter. I realized that I was pressed against him so I took a step backwards. Damon smiled slightly and took my right hand in his, his right slipping around my waist.
I gulped and wrapped my left arm around his neck. "You're going to have to step closer if you want it to look like we're dancing adults, and not elementary school dances." Damon said and that eased the tension.
I laughed and stepped closer, earning an approved smile from him. "How did you learn to dance, anyways?" I ask as we began moving to the low beat. "Runs in the family." He replied and I laughed at that.
Damon and I waltzed across the room, keeping eye contact. We spun around the room, slow and sensual and in the mids of it, I leaned my head on his chest. "Time for the twirl." He whispered in my ear and I laughed. I took a step back and he moved his arm over me as I twirled in place before going back close to him.
Damon tightened his hand on my waist, his fingers digging in my flesh as he pulled me tighter to him. Our cheeks were pressed against each other as we moved from side to side. "You don't seem like the dancing type." I whisper.
"I'm not, but it's worth it." He whispers back, his breath tickling my ear. "I can't believe we're going to kill Katherine." I murmur, sighing. I gasped when suddenly Damon pushed me back away from him, twirled me, pulled me back towards him, and dipped me down.
I breathed heavily at the shock of what just happened and Damon just stared at me amused. "Don't think about it too much." He whispers, his face close to mine.
I closed my mouth—realizing that it was gaping at him—and gulped visibly. I stopped biting my bottom lip repeatedly when I realized that Damon's gaze fell on my lips.
He leaned forward and his forehead touched mine. My breath caught up in my throat and I opened my mouth to form words, but someone raced me to it.
"Guys, we have a problem."
I instantly stood up and pulled myself out of Damon's arms, stumbling a bit but Damon helped me stay stable on my feet.
The both of us turned to Stefan who had an eyebrow raised while he stared between us. I cleared my throat, "And may I ask what the problem is?"
Damon snorted while he looked at me like I've grown a second head. I rolled my eyes and turned to Stefan, crossing my arms.
"Come, I'll show you."
♡ ♡ ♡
After getting rid of the girl Katherine killed, we hid in the room exactly like we planned. Jeremy is supposed to lure Katherine out to the lake so Damon and Stefan could give her the moonstone.
Now we knew Katherine wouldn't fall for it, so she'd go to Caroline. Caroline will fess up and tell her that Bonnie has the moonstone and that she's upstairs.
Katherine would come inside the room and wouldn't be able to go out since Bonnie casted a spell at the door.
Damon is in the closet with the compressed air weapon that he borrow from Alaric. Stefan would be the one to greet Katherine. While I hide behind the door with wooden stakes, a lot of them.
Suddenly, I hear heels clicking coming towards the room and I clenched my hand around a stake, pressing my back against the door.
"Where is she?" Katherine asks, stepping inside the room. Caroline stops sobbing and started chuckling, "I did it! I really didn't think that I'd be able to fool you but I did it!"
Katherine rushes over to Caroline but she gets stopped by the force. "What the?Stefan?" Stefan comes into view and Katherine turns to him.
"Hello Katherine." Stefan greets, smiling. "Goodbye Katherine." Caroline waved before she turned around and left.
"You don't really think that you can kill me with that now, do you?" Katherine chuckles, staring at the stake in Stefan's hand. "No, but they can."
That was Damon's and I's cue to start shooting. I throw the stake towards her and it dives in her back. Damon shoots her with the compressed air weapon and the stake goes in her stomach.
Katherine groans as Stefan rushes to her, diving the stake through her arm. Katherine grits her teeth and I slide the stake in her side. She glares at me and dives the stake through my stomach.
I sneer at her as the brothers start fighting with her. I grit my teeth as I pull the stake out of me, instantly feeling the wound healing.
Suddenly, Damon is flying towards my direction and I end up falling on my back, him on me.
I groan and open my eyes just as Katherine rushed to us, ready to stake Damon. But Stefan grabs her from behind, and they both fall on the floor as Stefan chokes her.
Damon stands up from on top of me and I hand him my last stake. He pulls me up fast and rushes to Katherine, holding the stake as he is about to kill her. But Jeremy stops him.
"Stop! You're hurting Elena! Everything you're doing to her is hurting Elena!"
My eyes widen as Stefan releases Katherine and she stands up, smiling. "You think you two are the only ones with a witch on your side? Wrong and something tells me that my witch is better than your witch." Katherine said.
She takes the stake from Damon's hands and I clench my fists, shooting daggers at her. "Jeremy, go check on Elena. Make sure she's okay. Go!" Stefan says and Jeremy nods, leaving.
"Let's all make sure poor Elena is okay. Just a little bit more pressure." I gasp when Katherine cuts her hand with the stake. I growl and throw the stake away from her, pushing her to the floor.
"Oh, Emilia, you look different than the last time I saw you."
I give her a warning look and she laughs. "Last time I saw you, you were all furry and beautiful. You also had a good meal, didn't you? How did those fishermen taste?"
Damon and Stefan both gave me questioning and shocked looks but I just ignored them, keeping my glare focused on Katherine.
Katherine dangles the stake in her hand before she points it at her stomach. "This is really gonna hurt." She's about to stake herself but Damon stops her. "Wait!"
Katherine smirks and sits down on the couch. "Okay. So, how about that moonstone?"
"I'm leaving." I muttered. "Oh, why so fast? The fun was just going to start." Katherine said, pouting. I rolled my eyes, "Bitch please."
Damon chuckled and I turned around to walk out the door. "I'm still waiting for that thank you, by the way." Katherine says. "What?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
"If it weren't for me, you'd still be human right now."
"What does that supposed to me?"
"God, can you get any stupid." She groans, "I asked Mason to bite you so he could kill you. But unfortunately, you turned. So, I deserve a thank you."
"Your crazy is showing, might wanna tuck that back in." I replied, glaring at her. "Hmmm," She laughed, "I knew there was I reason why you were my favorite."
"Hm, I knew there was a reason why you're dead."
I gave her a fake smile before I walked out of the room. I pulled down my mask and maneuvered my way through the crowd. I found the exit and stepped out of the mansion, breathing in the night fresh air.
I had to find Elena and make sure she was okay. I groaned as I walked on the wet grass, the dirty water seeping through my heels.
I finally walked out of the wet grass and my heels clicked against the pavement as I crossed the street.
Suddenly, an arm wrapped around my neck and tightened it. I choked as I fought against the arm and suddenly a needle was pressed into my skin.
I groaned in my pain when I recognized the poison anywhere. I felt the wolfsbane through my veins and I stumble against the person, my head getting numb.
My eyes drooped and I fell into the person's arms, darkness consuming me.
