Socks chilled out in the café with ghouls he never knew, but Socks suddenly came across a familiar person, the person wearing a gas mask on his face and wearing a lab coat. Socks realized it was the same person who tried to give human flesh to him.

"Hi, I think I've seen you before..." Socks said

"Yeah, me too" The ghoul responded, "The name's Laff"

"Nice to meet you, Laff, I'm Socks" Socks responded as he shook hands with Laff.

"Why didn't you eat the flesh I gave to you?" Laff asked.

"I don't feel hungry" Socks replied

"But human flesh is important for survival for ghouls like you and me" Laff stated.

Socks knew what Laff meant, but he wasn't convinced. Socks thought about it for a moment, but he was interrupted by the café owner. Laff and Socks were startled by the owner.

"Pardon interrupting your conversation, but Laff, you have some work to do." The owner said.

"Oh, right" Laff replied, "Gotta go do some work, bye Socks, it's nice meeting you"

"Okay, bye, Laff," Socks replied.

As soon as Laff left to work, the owner came up to Socks.

"Hey, mister, are you interested in working at this café?" The owner asked Socks.

Socks are only here to chill at the café, but he seems interested to do a job here, after a few moments of thinking, Socks replied,

"Yes"

"Great," The owner calmly replied, "Could you become a waiter for me? We are hiring more."

"Um...sure," Socks responded.

"Excellent, you're hired!" The owner said.

Soon, Socks worked at a café as a waiter, he seemed to enjoy the job, and he happily served the customers drinks and food, After a long day, Socks decided to go home and he went to sleep

-time skip-

Socks woke up the next morning and heard somebody knocking on the door. Socks opened the door to find his friend, Blaza.

"Hey, Blaza," Socks greeted

"Hey, Socks!" Blaza replied, "Do you wanna play some Minecraft with me?"

"Sorry, I can't, I gotta work at a job" Socks replied

"What job?" Blaza questioned

"I'm working as a waiter in the café" Socks replied

"Oh, alright, Saturday?" Blaza asked

"Okay" Socks answered

"Great! See you on Saturday!" Blaza said

As soon as Blaza leaves, Socks went to the café as quickly as he could.

Socks arrived at a café, and as soon as Socks opened the door of the café, Laff showed up at the door, waiting for him.

"Well, well, look who decided to show up," Laff said in a sarcastic tone as he tapped his foot.

"Sorry I'm late, Laff, I'm supposed to work with you" Socks apologized.

"It's alright," Laff said. "But you're early, there is no one here except us and the owner..." He stated

Socks looked around the café, what Laff said was true, there was no one around at the café except Laff, himself and the owner.

"Why are there no customers here?" Socks asked.

"We haven't opened the café yet" Laff responded, "If we opened it now, there would be customers."

"Ohhh, I got it now." Socks said.

"Okay, I think we're good to go," The owner said, "Laff, can you flip the sign for me?" The owner demanded.

Laff nodded. Laff flipped the sign and 3 minutes later, some of the customers entered the café. Soon, Socks and Laff went to work.

Socks had a great time as a waiter, but little did he know that just being a waiter could change his life forever.
