Walking past the front desk, I probably looked exactly how I felt. Like a drowned rat that would have been better off falling into the gutter rather than coming here and flooding the front lobby.

Despite the fact that the number on my key card from the envelope said I was on one of the top floors of the hotel, I trudged straight past the elevator to the stairs. As silly as it probably sounds, I couldn't use it...so many things had happened in the elevator at Starship Entertainment. Gosh...I probably sound like an absolute idiot, but it was true. A stupid elevator was causing me to be on the verge of tears. I'd never get stuck in any weird or dorky situations like that ever again... I'd honestly do anything to go back...but I can't jeopardize their careers...I just have to keep my distance and slowly let them go.

My shoes squished with every step, the soles squeaking against the tile stairs. It seemed like an eternity and I had forgotten how to breathe once I reached my floor.

As I stared at the door in front of me, the numbers on the wood suddenly grew blurry as my eyes filled with tears.

Hands shaking, I fumbled around as I scrambled to unlock the door. Once inside...I broke.

I broke into more pieces than I think I ever have before. It was going to be nearly impossible to pick them all up and try to put them together again..

Time was suddenly at a standstill, droplets of water ricocheted off the window, as I laid on the bed. My things all sat in the corner, delivered before I had arrived like stated in the note I received earlier.

It seemed like nothing could stop this breakdown until a knock sounded against the door...

"Who in the hell..."
