SPOLIER ALERT!!!!

Tip #10: The best monologues come from the places you have actually felt something.

Fandoms. All of us have them. Whether you don't know what that means or if you just don't like books, movies, or games, everyone, and I mean everyone, has them.

It starts out with something small. For instance, Warrior Cats. I thought it was about some housepets who met in the forest to hunt and train, sometimes play fight for when they need to learn how to defend themselves.

Hunger Games. I thought it was this stupid book about teenagers who lost their families and decided to play a game where they had to kill each other and survive in the forest, sometimes dying of starvation.

Percy Jackson. This dumb kid angers the gods.

Artemis Fowl. A twelve-year-old boy discovers that he is the son of Artemis while at school, and goes on this huge hunting trip with a few friends to do a thing.

The Legend of Zelda. A dumb kid with a girl's name fights for his girl. It's just a stupid Japanese anime like Pokemon.

Pokemon. These animals claw each other to death, and get captured by some dumb kids in the process.

You see the pattern?

I had soooo many stereotypes for about 80% of the things I hold so dearly. How did that change?

Well, first, I had to actually discover their value. See it for myself. Step into the character's POV and see what the real meaning of the story was. Then, I had to actually enjoy it. Some of these, I forced myself to keep watching, just to see the ending. I'm not disappointed. Most of the time. Avengers...eh...I'm not going to talk about...I fear that if I do, an angry mob will appear at my door and I will be sentenced to death by the time you are reading this.
