Everyone to tell us to try and hold on

because the world will surely give you a second chance

but I think that's a rather optimistic thought.

After all we're just pawns in the game of life-

both alike with hopes and dreams

but only the strongest one will endure

because we're the same

and different at the same time.

I'd prefer if it didn't end like this.

I'd rather we didn't part

and die in this miserable world.

I hope my memory is more than a faded picture

because I will miss having you around

I would like someone to compete with

Someone to face when things get tough.

this ending is not ideal.

but at least you know you aren't alone.
