Time had gone by swiftly at your parent's place, as there had been a lot to catch up on— not to mention the embarrassing stories and baby pictures seemingly every parent just loves to show their child's friends, and especially lover.

Nonetheless, after spending a few hours together it was time to leave as you all still hadn't unpacked your things, let alone even dropped by the beach house yet since this had been the first destination upon reaching Busan.

So after bidding goodbye to your parents with the promise to drop by once more for coffee before returning to Seoul, the driving resumed for another 20 minutes until you all finally were parked outside of the final destination— a bright smile painting your lips as you grabbed your luggage from the trunk of the car with Taehyungs help before excitedly entering the house together with your friends; the place turned out to be even prettier than the pictures had shown, making you completely awestruck as you looked around in admiration

Though before everyone could run off to explore the place fully, Namjoon took the lead as he swiftly clapped his hands to gain everyone's attention

Namjoon: Alright guys let's pair up, there are three bedrooms in here that we need to share, and obviously it's only fair that the group of three takes the bedroom with 3 beds downstairs so who-

Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi immediately saluted playfully as they grabbed their luggage and headed over to the mentioned room, clearly declaring themselves as the trio to share that bedroom making you all laugh warmly at the sight

Jin: Well then, that part was easy to settle!

This now left you, Taehyung, Jin, and Namjoon to decide on which duo would get to stay in the master bedroom, and like the sophisticated and mature men you were, there was no better way to settle this matter...

....-than by playing an incredibly competitive round of Rock, Paper, Scissors?

Needless to say, you've never seen anyone take a silly game so seriously before, and none of you could contain your laughter as you watched Taehyung win and jump up in victory whilst Jin dramatically stared down at his own hand in utter betrayal

Taehyung: Ha that's right, master bedroom's ours baby!~

He playfully blew some nonexistent smoke away from his finger gun, before turning towards you with a warm and proud grin plastered on his lips

Taehyung: Did you see that Ggukie? I'm the master of rock paper scissors!

Yet another bubbly giggle left your lips as you rolled your eyes at him, but nonetheless nodded whilst reaching up to ruffle his hair proudly

Jungkook: Yeah yeah hyungie, whatever you say~

Namjoon and Jin eyed the two of you admiringly yet couldn't help but laugh softly in amusement— clearly loving the perfect opportunity they got to tease the both of you as they spoke up in a playful manner

Namjoon: Sheesh I think we all accidentally signed up to join their honeymoon...

Jin: Yeah I think so too... Those master bedroom walls better be soundproof, or we might just have to check into a hotel!

A soft gasp left your lips as a faint crimson began spreading on your cheeks upon hearing the teasing remark your friends had made, though Taehyung only chuckled warmly as he paid their teasing no attention, looking at you fondly whilst letting out a soft "Let's go pup" as he gestured upstairs

He then picked up both yours and his own luggage and began to carry them upstairs, letting you lead the way to the room as he trailed right behind you, watching you in admiration as you opened the bedroom door and gasped in excitement after seeing just how stunningly cozy the bedroom looked— not to mention, the incredibly beautiful view outside, the big bedroom windows prettily displaying a perfect view of the beach and ocean outside the house

Jungkook: Hyung look! It's so beautiful hyungie— are you looking?~

A warm chuckle left his lips as he pulled you into his embrace, kissing your forehead, cheeks, and finally lips oh so tenderly before pulling away slightly to look into your eyes, voice gentle as he smiled warmly whilst caressing your cheek

Taehyung: I know baby, I know...  But how am I supposed to focus on the view when you're here hm?

His cliché remark still managed to send millions of butterflies to your heart and stomach as you momentarily lowered your head, cheeks being painted a light crimson once again as a bubbly yet timid giggle emitted past your lips

Jungkook: Oh hush, you're just s-saying that...

Though he slowly yet sternly shook his head before gently making you raise your chin; looking down into your eyes once more as he whispered out a fond "Oh but I'm not" before pulling you into a loving kiss

One that started off innocent, gentle, and loving whilst you carefully wrapped your arms around his neck— yet slowly turned into one filled with more intensity and passion as his hands sneakily trailed under your shirt, holding onto the bare skin of the curve of your waist firmly as he pulled you in close to deepen the kiss; the two of you near completely forgetting all about your current surroundings, and only managed to snap out of the moment when your hyungs suddenly called out to you both from downstairs

"Taehyung-ah, Jungkook-ah! You guys coming? We should drop by the market before they close so we can get the things we need for tonight!"

You instantly buried your face into his chest as you bit back a timid grin, feeling flustered as you realized the two of you accidentally got a tad bit too carried away just now. Meanwhile, Taehyung held you close to himself while shouting back a "Y-Yeah uhm- we'll be right there! Just gotta finish unpacking!"— instantly making the two of you burst into a fit of giggles as you kept hugging each other for a little while longer until Taehyung eventually patted your bum teasingly, pulling away from the warm embrace despite wanting to stay like that a bit longer as he hummed

Taehyung: Well, we better hurry up and unpack now pup

| Later...

After having finished your errands at the market and making sure all the ingredients needed for tonight's dinner were bought— amongst some other things such as drinks, snacks, and even fireworks; you were all now walking down the street together, enjoying some ice cream you had bought on your way back whilst happily enjoying the ocean breeze

A bubbly giggle left your lips as you and Taehyung every now and then would keep trying to steal small bites out of each other's ice creams whilst playfully bickering, meanwhile, your hyungs slowly trailed behind you both as they watched it all in amusement— talking amongst themselves as the two of you were too caught up in your own world to notice

Hoseok: There they go again... It's like that slushy incident all over again, except they aren't making out this time

Just as those words left Hoseoks mouth, Taehyung briefly halted in front of you as he reached down to gently wipe some ice cream from the corner of your lip, licking it off of his thumb as he uttered out a teasing "Mhm yours definitely tastes better" which earned a hitched breath from you whilst a deep crimson painted your cheeks

Jimin: Correction they're not making out yet—... But judging by whatever that was, who knows?

Namjoon: You know, I'm still convinced those two were not unpacking their shit earlier...

Yoongi let out a breathy laugh as he uttered out a far too sarcastic ''Oh really now. what gave it away?'', meanwhile Jin shook his head as they all eyed the couple in admiration

Jin: I said this before and I will say it again, those master bedroom walls better be soundproof or I'm checking in to a hotel.

| Later that night...

The beginning of the night had been spent happily enjoying the dinner you all had made together earlier this evening, and you were now sat around the table on the backyards terrace as you moved on to enjoying a couple of drinks and some snacks for dessert while playing various types of board games which had been found inside the living room; laughter, playful bickering and surprised all being heard coming from the backyard to the house

Once the sun eventually set, signaling yet another day had come to its end, both you and Taehyung ended up sneaking away to take a short walk along the beach together— walking and sometimes even running as you played what could only be described as a game of tag with the waves; running towards them at full speed as they began to retreat back to the ocean, only to shortly after protectively pull each other away from the new incoming waves hitting the shore as you both couldn't contain your joy-filled laughter

The two of you eventually settled down for a moment to just relax and gaze at the waves, and a content sigh left your lips as he wrapped his arms around you from behind before placing a tender kiss at the crook of your neck

Jungkook: You know, before I left for Seoul... I visited this exact beach one final time to walk around like we just did— hoping that my bad memories here would subdue and instead be drowned out by the peaceful memories I spent hanging around here as I grew up...

...Hoping that I'd be happier when I come back here

He hummed softly as he gently turned you around so that you were facing him, arms still securely wrapped around your waist as he looked into your eyes with so much love and genuine curiosity

Taehyung: Well... Did your wishes come true?

You flashed him a warm smile whilst nodding lightly— admiring how his deep brown eyes still managed to sparkle in the dark as your hand slowly reached up to gently caress his cheek

Jungkook: Mhm... I came back happier than ever. But if someone had told me back then, that I'd be returning here with my friends and lover— whom also just so happens to be that probe I so desperately had set my mind on avoiding all my life... I would've called them delusional.

The blunt words you used earned a warm chuckle out of Taehyung as he playfully flicked your chin upwards, grumbling out a playful ''Ouch'' which made you giggle softly before continuing

Jungkook: —but now, I couldn't be happier hyung. You and our friends changed my life for the better, gave me hope, and showed me that I too have a place here in what used to be a colorless dull world— you quite literally gave my lifeless world color, and I couldn't be more grateful for that...

He lovingly looked down into your eyes while the fond smile painting his lips never budged, hand reaching down to fix some stray hairs the wind had messed with before pulling you into yet another warm hug as he whispered in your ear

Taehyung: And we will always be here... I will always be here Gguk, right by your side to protect you and show you the world's true colors, if you allow me to?

You swiftly blinked away the tears that had begun to well up in your eyes as you nodded in approval, feeling an overwhelming sense of joy and warmth at the mere thought of always having him by your side

A tender kiss was placed on your forehead as he held your hands tightly— only for you to widen your eyes in surprise when you felt him slip something onto your finger seconds later, and when your gaze briefly moved down to your hand, a beautiful silver ring identical to the one he was wearing was now hugging your finger perfectly

Taehyung: That's my promise to you Gguk, I will always love you.

Jungkook: H-hyung— I love you too, s-so much...

Two silent tears slowly rolled down your cheeks, making you both giggle as he gently wiped them away whilst whispering out a ''Don't cry now angel'', only fueling your soft sniffles as you hit his chest gently— mumbling out a defensive ''I-Idiot I'm n-not crying...'' only making him chuckle more as he held you close; soothingly rubbing circles of comfort on your back as the two of you swayed lightly side to side enjoying the moment together— only to soon pull away lightly from each other after hearing the click of a camera followed by the familiar sounds of breathy laughter

Yoongi: Sorry to interrupt love birds, but these fireworks aren't going to light themselves!

An excited giggle bubbled past your lips as you and Taehyung hurried over to your hyungs where they safely had been setting up the fireworks, his arm protectively remaining wrapped around the side of your waist as you watched Yoongi light one of the firework packs before running back over to the rest of you

Loud booms soon echoing in the air as you all watched the sky light up in incredible bursts of sparkling colors, cheering seeing the fireworks shot up one by one, leaving you completely awestruck as this was the first time you'd ever seen fireworks have any color to them

Taehyung: It's magical isn't it?

You nodded as you looked up into his eyes with a bright smile, eyes practically sparkling from joy as you couldn't help but bounce lightly in his embrace from excitement

Yes, beyond magical— it felt utterly surreal.

And as he leaned down, pulling you into a loving kiss under the beautiful firework lit sky, you truly knew you had found your very own; forever.

Wow, I actually sat staring at the finished chapter for at least 15 minutes, as I can't believe this story officially is wrapped up.
