*Alice's POV*

The next day, I wanted to borrow Mom's hot rollers for my job interview for a journalist. I knocked on Mom's bedroom door.

"Come in Alice."

I came in.

"Can I borrow your hot rollers?"

"Sure honey."

I was about to walk to her bathroom.

"Wait! You can't go in there!"

"Why?"

"Let me get it for you?"

Mom made me sit on her bed as she went in and got them for me.

"Here you go darlin'."

"Ok. I gotta leave for the interview in a about thirty minutes."

"Ok."

Soon, I left for the interview.

*Mike's POV*

Me and the guys met Ms. Trudy at the Vincent Van Go Go which was reserved for us. There was a dining area we were allowed to decorate however as long as we cleaned it up when we were finished. Me and the guys tried walking in at the same time, we struggled but Ms. Trudy pulled us in giggling.

"Alright boys, let's decide on hat we should get for her. Y'all have any ideas?"

"She loves to write! How about getting her a diary!" Davy said.

"She's been wantin' a journal for the longest time. Good idea Davy. I'll also get her some hot rollers of her own. she likes to curl her hair, on occasions especially."

"Aw come on, her hair's purdy the way it is," I said.

"Aww, Mike, aren't you boys sweet! Well, let's get to decoratin'! Her favorite colors are blue and yellow, so we need to get some ribbons, a banner, all that for her big party."

We got what we needed and started decorating.
