Pulling back from the kiss, Ara looked at Jimin as she sat directly on his crotch. He couldn't look anywhere but her soft lips as she looked directly at his. Both bodies were gasping for air but craved to feel each other's touch a little longer—just a bit longer. Jimin's hands traveled from her back to her waist, feeling every inch of her curves. His hands trailed down toward her ass and gripped it tightly. That gave Ara a sign to continue kissing him. Now, there was no going back.
In the middle of the kiss, Jimin reached into his seat to tug on the handle. He gently leveled his seat backward to lie down and for Ara to rest on him. This time, she was feeling his chest with hers as she traveled her hands toward it. Jimin felt great pleasure having her tits lay on him. Just feeling them on his chest made him imagine so many things. His hands trailed back to her waist and tugged on her pants as he pulled her closer. A low moan escaped her mouth as she tilted her head to deepen the kiss.
Suddenly, a phone started ringing, and both of them pulled back. It was Jimin's phone with a call from Yoongi—once again. This time, Yoongi, the cockblocker. Knowing he wouldn't call for no reason, as he was always so grumpy when talking to people, Jimin and answered the call. He leveled the seat back to normal as Ara remained sitting on his crotch, waiting for him.
"Yoongi?"
"Eunha is out on bail, but that doesn't mean she won't go towards you this time."
"She's too scared," Jimin replied. "Eunha got arrested for two things. She's about to lose it and try to make a sudden stupid move. She hasn't been at my house in what feels like ages, and she only showed up because of Ara. Trust me, she won't show up again."
"That's not the only thing. Remember where we found Jang Jiyong? That alley. Well, the autopsy report stated his time of death was around twelve fifty-two AM. We looked for surveillance cameras around the area where he was found, and we detected something interesting."
"Something interesting?" Jimin wondered as he tried to lower the volume on his phone so Ara wouldn't hear the name mentioned.
"Yeah, we found footage of where he was last seen from a surveillance camera outside a store. At twelve seventeen AM, he was seen turning the corner on that street. There were two people that stopped him. He looked intimidated. One of them was unknown. The other was Kang Eunha."
"E-Eunha?" Jimin asked. Ara looked at him, even more confused, as she moved closer to listen to the conversation.
"I interrogated her about what Ara said in the video—whether she killed Jang Jiyong or not—and at first, she didn't want to talk, but then she said she was with her mother that day. The thing is, her mother shows up in the system as deceased. We found this after we released her."
"Mrs. Kang? I've never even met her," Jimin said, trying to recall any bit of information he ever had of Eunha's mother that he had read or that she had told him. "Eunha never told me anything about her. Didn't she disappear? Or wait—I think she died, no?"
"That's what the reports say. We let her go on bail, but we have to bring her back. Jimin, we have a search warrant, which means your house will be searched. I'm giving you a heads-up. The police will be there in a few minutes."
As soon as Jimin heard that, he looked at Ara and signaled to sit in the passenger seat. He hung up the phone and put his seatbelt on as he started the car. Ara looked at him, confused, as he said, "I'm sorry, but I can't take you today. The police will be in my house soon."
He expected her to run off to class, but she stayed and said, "I'll go with you. If you want."
Jimin smiled and immediately started driving, letting her know he certainly wanted her company. He had nothing to hide, but didn't want to be suspicious if he wasn't home. He was desperate to know if Yoongi would find anything in his house. If he did, some things would get out of hand.
At his house, he parked the car and turned to Ara. "There's a search warrant emitted for my house today since Eunha's address is mine. The police will be here soon, so I need to handle this. Stay with me. I want to make sure Eunha doesn't come here or get near you at the same time."
Ara nodded and got out of the car with him. The front door had already been fixed since the day Yoongi had to break in and arrest Eunha. It left Ara relieved since she couldn't remember much of what had happened that day. As they walked to it, a few police cars pulled up at his house. One officer who got out and immediately walked over to him was Yoongi.
"We have a search warrant for Kang Eunha," he said. "This is her residence with Park Jimin?"
Jimin nodded as he walked in front of Ara. Yoongi pulled out the search warrant and showed it to Jimin. All was done so the other officers would see the interaction, but Jimin was perfectly aware of the situation. Perks of having an officer as a close friend. He looked at the warrant and grabbed his keys from his pocket as he walked towards the door.
"Kang Eunha hasn't been here since she was arrested," Jimin said as he opened it. "Before that, she had not been here in weeks. I don't know what she's doing."
Yoongi was the first to walk inside as he instructed the other officers to follow him and look around for evidence. The mansion took them a long time to go through, so Jimin and Ara waited in the car. Silence surrounded them completely. Jimin wasn't worried. All he could think about was how Ara was sitting on him some minutes before. His thoughts were interrupted when Ara asked, "Are you scared?"
Jimin chuckled as he turned to face her and said, "Not at all. Everything will be fine. I'm sure that if Eunha had anything to hide, she wouldn't hide it in—"
Suddenly, his words were interrupted. Yoongi was knocking on the car door with a ziplock bag in his hands. Jimin got out of the car as Ara followed him around. The situation looked serious, unlike what Jimin had told her. He did not expect it whatsoever.
"We found this hidden in your guest room beneath a pile of shirts," Yoongi said as he showed Jimin the ziplock bag. Yoongi looked to the sides to make sure no one was listening and whispered, "Jimin, this could be what was used to kill Jang Jiyong. There were multiple different drugs found inside your house."
Ara overheard the whispers and walked closer as she said, "Jiyong? Eunha—she actually killed him?"
Jimin pulled her back behind him and sighed. He turned to Yoongi and said, "If you have to make an arrest, then do it. I understand. I can prove I have nothing to hide. You don't have to worry."
And so Yoongi took action and arrested Jimin on the spot. Ara was speechless. She didn't know what to say or do, but she understood why Yoongi did it. The evidence was found in his house. Two people lived in the house. One was being arrested, and the other one was still free. Her time out on bail was about to be cut short, as the officers detected her location quickly because of the ankle monitor she wore.
As Jimin was being cuffed, he looked at Ara and smiled to reassure her that everything would be fine. Seeing such a wealthy and powerful man as Jimin arrested was a sight that would never leave her mind. An arrest was made for something he didn't do, which was ironic, considering powerful men often commit crimes unbeknownst to men and are never punished for it. However, Jimin was not one of them.
He reached into his pocket and grabbed his house and car keys, handing everything to Ara before he said, "Take care of my belongings for me, will ya? I'll be out very soon."
Later that same day, Eunha was arrested in her office. Both fiancé and fiancée were at the police station, sitting beside each other and awaiting interrogation. First, Jimin came up. He had requested his lawyer accompany him for questioning, so he was allowed to make a call. Instead of calling his company lawyers, he called someone he knew he could trust even better: Byun Baekhyun.
During the interrogation, Baekhyun sat next to him. He knew Jimin wasn't at fault and that he wasn't the owner of those drugs. They tried to check if Jimin was intoxicated or had any correlation to any drug at all, but nothing. Baekhyun knew Jimin could defend himself very well when questioned. He was mainly there to report to his sister what was happening, since Jimin couldn't tell her in person. Jimin wanted to let her know how everything was going and that he would get out soon, so he did it through Baekhyun.
Jimin was asked multiple questions, but the officers couldn't see a single connection between him and Jiyong. Not even him and the drugs. There was nothing. Eunha, on the other hand, was not only seen with Jiyong minutes before his death but was also seen intimidating him in the footage. Her connection to Jiyong was clear. The drugs were even clearer, as they had two sets of fingerprints on them. When they were analyzed and compared with Eunha's, she matched one of them perfectly. The other one was unknown as there were no set fingerprints in the database system for that person.
After forty-eight hours of interrogation, Jimin was finally let go, but Eunha was being held to ask further questions. Yoongi walked into the room and closed the door behind him as he saw Eunha sitting down with the cuffs on her. He walked to the other side of the table and sat on the chair as he opened his files and looked through the documents. He then closed it all and looked directly at her as he said, "Do you perhaps know a certain man named Seo Jisung by any chance?"
"Seo Jisung? No? I don't know who that is," she said as she looked everywhere except for him.
"He spoke to the police the other day," Yoongi said. "I don't know if you keep up with the news, but he mentioned you. He said that he saw you the night of Byun Haneul's death at the Kang & Co. hospital."
Eunha scoffed. She had been asked a series of questions all day, and they were all related to either Ara, Jimin, or Jiyong, but now there was another name—and another case.
"This is irrelevant. I don't need to be answering this."
Yoongi smirked as he looked at the double-sided mirror and signaled to the officers on the other side to cut the recording. He then looked at Eunha and leaned in as he said, "Eunha, if you cooperate with these new questions, you can get out of here once again."
She looked at him and scoffed. She didn't believe him, but she wanted to. It was the only way out. She needed to get everything fixed. That was when she leaned in closer and said, "That day, I had announced to my doctors that they were invited to stay over at the new luxury Kang Suites for the night. All expenses were paid, and they could enjoy it since they were there for a long time and worked so much. I was giving them a break! Check it online. The speech went viral."
"Not before," Yoongi said. "After the speech. Not just the speech, but after you stayed to talk to the patients, where did you go?"
"I went to visit my mom later that day," she said. It was the same excuse she had given before. This time, Yoongi didn't say a word. He just allowed her to talk. "Unfortunately, she died a bit after. That day, she was just very sick."
That was it. The first time Eunha was interrogated, she felt scared, so when she tried to defend herself, she made up a false story and brought up her 'deceased' mother. Now, she had brought her up again. She had no other alibi, no other excuse. She was terrified of being stuck behind bars and was unsure of what to say or do.
Kang Sarah was going to be the help that they needed. She was a key factor in the story surrounding the Kangs. It had all started because of her. She was alive, and Eunha was trapped.

Sunggyu walked by the halls and finally reached the place he wanted to visit so dreadfully. He wanted to know the truth. He needed to know the truth. The truth that he only knew based on Eunha's words. He knocked on the door with the number one twenty-five and opened it to see the older woman knitting on the chair. She looked at him and chuckled as he walked in. She remembered him very well, unable to forget his face.
"Sunggyu, fancy seeing you here. You never visited me."
Sunggyu walked closer and sat on the empty chair near her. The television was playing in the background, but she didn't feel the need to lower the volume or turn it off. She didn't even stop knitting as he looked at her, recalling how Eunha felt so upset after that one visit months before. He couldn't understand why. He couldn't understand the hatred towards her own mother.
"Eunha got arrested," he said, causing her to look up at him. "She's being sued for civil conspiracy, and on top of that, she's going to be charged with murder and assault. I heard she assaulted another woman who worked in her fiancé's home. That woman was Ara."
"Ara?" she asked as she looked at him, confused. "The Byun Ara? The woman you married?"
Sunggyu nodded. Indeed, the woman he had married.
"I bet you're scared, aren't ya?" she mocked as she focused back on knitting. "All that time following Eunha's orders and doing every dirty work for her. After marrying a woman you didn't love. Now you realize that you're trapped? Now is when you realize there's no way out?"
"Yes, I'm scared. I need help. For all I know, I could be next, and I don't want to go down. I need to find a way out. I know there is one."
She stopped knitting and placed her ball of yarn on the table. She leaned in closer to him and fixed her glasses before she said, "If you want to be safe, then help me out. Turn your back on Eunha and join me. She needs to rot in prison."
That was when the door opened, revealing a man around the same age as the woman. She looked at him in shock as her mouth dropped. Sunggyu was in shock to see him there as well. The man stood still, confused and shocked at how Sarah ended up in such a place. In such an institution, away from all her luxuries and riches.
"M-Minho?" she mumbled as she stood up from her chair.
The day Minho had sneaked into Baekhyun's office, Eunha had given him her mother's location in return—even if he had found nothing in the first place. That was the deal. Since that day, Minho had been debating whether he should show up. He desperately wanted to see Sarah, but it had been so long. He thought maybe she had forgotten about him.
Yet, there she was.
Suddenly, the television interrupted with the breaking news stating, "Dr. Choi Siwon, a pathologist in Seoul, was arrested this morning under four charges, including fraud and tampering with evidence. This came into light as the autopsy report of the widely known former CEO of the Byun Corporation, Byun Haneul, caused suspicion upon the Seoul Police Department after a witness testified hearing strange noises coming from the deceased's room right before his death. Dr. Choi had done two different reports, and one of them was reportedly 'eliminated' as it included 'too many errors'. The police department is currently questioning Dr. Choi and will release a statement once the interrogation is over."
