Private One Percent Events
───────────────────────────────────
The day had finally arrived. Ara had decided she would attend the masquerade, hoping to forget about everything else happening in her life. More than anything, she just wanted to have some fun and forget about the things that were troubling her the most—which were not even her classes. She wanted to forget about how upset Eunha made her and about all the conspiracies behind her father's death. She didn't want to think for just one night, and it led her to accept the invitation from Baekhyun.
Minji helped Ara decide what dress to wear that would combine with the mask that she had bought recently. It was black and red, so Minji pointed over at the gorgeous red dress inside Ara's closet. It was a strap dress with a slit on the left bottom side. The middle part of the dress was tighter than the bottom in order to wrap itself around the person's waist in such a seductive manner. It was a backless dream.
"You can't go wrong with this one," she said. "It can even help you get laid."
Ara chuckled as she reached inside her closet to grab it. Ara knew it was a seductive dress. She had bought it years ago to attend a fancy dinner with her ex-husband—days before the marriage and days before the divorce. That day, the dress made headlines and sold out in just twenty-four hours. It was the effect Ara had on the fashion industry. An industry that she loved ever since she was a little girl.
Once Ara had slipped into the dress, Minji helped with her makeup and hair. Ara was nervous. After all, she had never attended a one percent party. Minji had—almost every year. Yet, Ara didn't know what to expect. She wasn't even supposed to be there. She had been invited before, but when she lost all her money, those invitations stopped being sent.
It was already getting late, and Minji's phone started ringing. It was her brother.
"Are you coming?" he asked.
"No. Someone else is."
That message confused Jimin, but before he could ask about it, Minji hung up. When Ara finished getting ready, Minji requested excitedly to be her personal driver for the event. Minji was invited to the event, but she declined because she knew what happened at those gatherings—a lot of business talks, private talks, alcohol, drugs, and hidden sex. Of course, that wasn't the focus, but those things couldn't help but happen. Minji refused to attend, as all she needed was the one and only Bae Seoyoon and an empty house. However, she didn't tell Ara anything about the event. She kept quiet about her family once again and never mentioned the fact that the Park Corporation had always coordinated the one percent reunions. The Park Corporation, recently instructed by Park Jimin—another player in Minji's unknown game.
At the event, Ara showed the invitation at the main entrance and walked inside without a problem. It was in a mansion at the top of a hill. It had enormous gates everywhere and two long stairs that would curve to meet in the middle of the top floor. There was a red carpet falling down the stairs with a gold pattern on the edges. Ara focused on the dim lights as she walked, mesmerized by the multiple huge paintings from famous artists and even bigger sculptures all around. She thought that even Jimin's mansion seemed short next to the one she was admiring at that moment.
She was so distracted looking around that she didn't notice when she bumped into a hard chest. She quickly turned to the man in front of her and bowed down to apologize. He smiled and said, "Don't worry about it. Enjoy yourself."
He walked off as Ara stayed still, wondering why she thought his voice sounded familiar. Her eyes followed the man as he walked around the crowd and off to one side of the stairs. That was when she noticed she wasn't the only one looking at him. Everyone was. He wanted to gather everyone's attention to make an announcement. He was the main event.
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen," he said as he picked up a glass of champagne from a server's tray and lifted it in the air. "It is a great pleasure to see so many fresh faces here this year!"
At that moment, everyone laughed, and he did too, with his ironic statement. Ara chuckled at his humor as he turned to look at her. When he locked eyes with her, he reminded himself of someone he knew. Someone who was constantly lingering in his mind.
"I'm thrilled to be here, continuing my grandfather's legacy through three generations as we welcome the one percent into our beloved old family home. We've lived here for so many years, from my grandfather's generation to my own until my father passed away. Thankfully, we were able to maintain the house as properly as we could all these years in order to continue the annual one percent reunions. We do have a full house this year, which is very exciting. I would like for all of you to please enjoy yourselves and please remember to not remove your masks until the very end."
He smiled once again as the crowd clapped and cheered for him. Ara found herself clapping as well, even though she had no clue what was happening. The last time Baekhyun attended the event, he had to leave early because of work problems, so he couldn't stay until the end. After that year, he never had time to go again, just like many other wealthy executives who couldn't attend. He never knew who the owner was. He never knew who the family was. After the event ended, everything was a secret.
After the young man's speech, Ara started walking around as she looked through the sweets that were on display. Suddenly, a man walked up next to her, capturing her attention. She looked at him and smiled, knowing it was the same man she had bumped into. The same one that owned the luxurious estate that looked like a palace in the middle of a forest. A mansion that he owned along with his personal new home. The one that he lived in with his fiancée who was nowhere to be seen at the party.
"Is it your first time?" he asked, and she nodded. "You seem a little tense. I don't want you to be uncomfortable. Have something to eat or drink. If the music is too loud, please let me know."
Ara nodded once again, not giving any verbal response as she tried to figure out what his face looked like under his mask. The bottom half of his face looked somewhat familiar, and his lips looked even more familiar. It made her anxious about the ending. She wanted to see him take off his mask. She wanted to see who he was so that she wouldn't lose him throughout the party.
"I'm alright, don't worry," she finally said. At that moment, the young woman that was on her other side stumbled onto Ara. At that same moment, Ara stumbled onto the man, just like dominos. He quickly held onto her as she crashed into his chest for the second time. His arms were around her, clinging onto her body. She looked at him, but quickly moved back and turned to the other woman.
"Are you okay?" Ara asked her as she reached out to pick her up from the floor.
The woman nodded with a smile and said, "Thank you. These heels are killing me. I'm sorry for bumping into you like that. I'm not used to such high heels. Should've worn something else."
Ara chuckled as the woman went back to picking what sweets she wanted to eat. Ara turned back to the man and smiled awkwardly.
"I'm sorry," she said, but he shook his head as he reassured it was all fine. For a second, his eyes trailed down from her face to her neck and then towards her chest. When Ara crashed into him, the front part of her dress had slipped down slightly, almost showing her nipples. Her tits had popped out more than before, but even though he enjoyed the view, he had to let her know.
"I don't know how to say this without sounding like a creep, but your dress is sliding down and if you don't lift it up, it will expose a lot to the lurking eyes around," he said. "Must've happened when you fell. You should be careful with that dress."
Ara looked down at her dress and gasped as she covered her top. She lifted it up once again as he chuckled. Seeing his smile caused her to smile as well. Everything about him seemed so attractive, and so familiar. Everything about her seemed so provocative, and so familiar. He couldn't stop admiring her gorgeous dress and how it hugged her curves so beautifully—or how the slit on her dress was so high up, exposing her striking thighs to the world. Everything about her screamed out to him.
He walked closer to her and leaned towards her ear as he said, "It's too crowded here. If you're not busy, do you mind if we go somewhere private?"
Ara was speechless, but desperate enough to say yes. His words and his voice were all so seductive to her. She wanted to know who he was. She wanted to know more about him. She craved to know what he was all about.
"Let's go," she said. He smirked and signaled for her to follow him. Just like a puppy following its owner, she walked right behind him through the crowd of people. He walked below the stairs and opened a door hidden by the side. Ara looked inside and then looked at him. He saw Ara's reaction and how she looked even more tense than before.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you," he said. "This is the side entrance to the other main room. I'll go first if you want."
Ara nodded as he walked inside first. She followed right behind him once again through the hallway that led up to another door. He opened it and pointed towards the second main room of the mansion. It was empty, and it was also huge. Ara walked inside and looked around as the man closed the door behind her. He signaled at the couch, letting her know she could sit if she wanted to. She looked at the couch, but didn't walk towards it.
"Do you want anything to drink or perhaps eat?" he asked. Ara shook her head as she walked over to him. He turned to her this time and asked, "Are you sure?"
She nodded before she said, "This house is beautiful. Very elegant, too. I believe it suits the owner."
He chuckled as he said, "You're extremely beautiful. Very elegant as well. I believe that dress suits the owner perfectly."
Ara blushed at his words, but the redness on her cheeks was barely visible underneath her mask. The man leaned closer to her and whispered near her ear, "Seriously, you're gorgeous."
When he backed off, Ara knew she couldn't wait anymore. His seductive voice was doing things to her body. She felt something she had not felt in a long time. His lips enchanted her whenever he spoke. His voice captivated her within seconds. Everything about the man yelled perfection. To Ara, he was something she had not seen before—a rare kind of man. He was a gentleman and a seducer at once—a man who knew the effect he had on women like her.
"Why don't we take a seat?" he asked, but Ara shook her head. She immediately grabbed onto his suit jacket and pulled him closer. She wanted to answer her cravings at that very moment. His lips crashed onto hers and quickly adjusted to them. In a swift motion, he kissed her with such intensity and lust as he pushed her against the wall. It all happened so fast that in a blink of an eye, his hand was sliding inside the slit of her dress and lifting her leg up. Ara wrapped her leg around him as his hand went up her thigh. He moved even closer to her as she moaned in the kiss, feeling the bulge inside his pants.
He pulled back for a second and tugged on her panties as he said, "Can I?"
Ara nodded and pulled him closer once again. In the middle of the kiss, he moved her leg that was wrapped around his waist and placed it on the table next to Ara for support. Her legs remained even more open than before as he slid her panties to the side. Gently, he played with her clit, rubbing it back and forth with his fingers before pushing them deep inside of her. Ara pulled onto his hair as he parted from the kiss, letting a moan leave her mouth. He looked at her eyes, seeing the desperation building up inside of her. She was begging for him. She wanted to feel more than his touch on her body. She wanted to be fucked so bad.
He pulled his fingers out before he leaned in closer and whispered, "Moan as loud as you want."
That was when he lowered himself to his knees and placed her other leg on his shoulder. He held her tightly against the wall as he was now face-to-face with the most intimate part of her body. He leaned in closer as his hands slid towards her ass and pushed her onto him. They slid down once again towards her thighs and gripped onto them as he placed his tongue on her. Ara clung onto his hair as he sucked on her clit, allowing more moans to come out free from her mouth. It was like music to his ears. Hunger took all over him as he sucked and licked her pussy over and over again. Ara couldn't wait any longer. She wanted him. She wanted to have him inside.
Suddenly, a noise interrupted the man from a phone ringing at a close distance. The man cursed under his breath and reached inside his pocket. He looked at the name on his phone and then back at the woman in front of him, realizing what he was doing. The name on his phone brought him back to reality for just a simple moment.
"Is there something wrong?" she asked. He shook his head and placed his phone back in his pocket. He allowed it to ring all it wanted as he went back to his focus—the attractive woman in front of him. Ignoring the constant ringing, he went back to work on pleasuring her once again. She continued to feel such intense pleasure over her body as her legs became numb. However, she didn't want to stop. He didn't want to stop.
She was able to forget about everything in the outside world for a while and he was able to forget all about his personal life as well. He didn't want to stop. He wanted to feel every inch of her body. Every time he touched it, he reminded himself of someone. Someone that the strange woman reminded him so much of. Someone in his own personal life that he was thinking about in such an inappropriate way. A certain someone who was not his fiancée.
He reminded Ara of someone she couldn't have. Someone that was off limits for her. Someone who had a fiancée. Whenever she felt his touch, she imagined it was someone else—her boss.
The masquerade was a grand opportunity for both of them. Unknowingly, they shared a forbidden moment with the person they were craving for the most. And even though the phone kept ringing, none of them wasted their precious time to acknowledge it or turn it off. Little by little, their clothes would come off, but their masks would remain on.
