(Before I start this, I just want to say that this is Louis and Rauline's story and not Harry and Diane's.

Some scenes are put in for Harry and Diane but this is mainly for Rauline and Louis.

Just a disclaimer.)

SIX MONTHS LATER

I stare at myself in the mirror, inspecting my nicely done makeup and made up hair that was done at the salon, and I admire the work done. I look nice and I feel confident. My earrings are shimmering in the light hitting it and my long white dress that reaches just above my ankles glows as well.

"Damn Rauline, you look beautiful." I hear Diane say.

The vale around my head covers my face, reminding of my big day a long time ago with Louis.

And here I am, again, at another wedding. With him.

I haven't seen him yet, but I know he's coming with Harry and I am very excited to finally see him in his suit. He always looks extremely handsome in his black suits and I haven't seen him in one for a long time.

"Thanks, Diane." I sigh happily, smiling at the vale.

"Are you nervous?"

"Very." I admit.

"Why, girl? Your not even getting married! I am!" Diane exclaims.

I laugh suddenly and quickly take off the vale to turn around and look at the woman. "Well you don't seem nervous at all. Why is that?" I question.

Diane's eyes widen. "I literally feel like I'm going to vomit right now. I'm just good at hiding it. Now fan me. I cannot go out there sweating like a pig." She says.

I put the vale down on a table and quickly fan her as she breathes in and out slowly.

"Hey, no need to be nervous. Seriously." I tell her, assuringly.

"I just can't believe this is happening honestly."

I furrow my eyebrows. "Why?"

She shrugs. "I've always dreamed of this. But, I never thought it would happen." Diane tells me.

"Well Harry's a handsome good guy and your a beautiful good girl, it's meant to be and was bound to happen."

"Shut up, Rauline." Diane smiles, looking down at the ground sheepishly.

I chuckle and hug her suddenly. "I'm so happy for you." I say quietly.

"And I'm so happy." She sighs shakily.

"Now, I better get out there." I tell her, letting go and stepping back to fix my own dress.

"Wait, do I look okay?" Diane asks.

"Honestly Diane, you look breathtaking." I say honestly, nodding my head. "Now put on your vale and slay that carpet." I snap.

Diane punches my arm playfully and I turn to exit the room and walk down the hall to the ballroom the wedding is being held in.

I hear a sudden squeal coming from the guys dressing room, making me furrow my brows and turn to the door to knock on it lightly. "Um, guys. You okay in there?" I ask.

I hear footsteps agaisnt the laminated flooring and then the door swings open, making me step back and come face to face with a grinning Louis. I smile back instantly. He looks great.

"Hey."

"He-"

"I got my dick stuck in the zipper, Louis! Help!" Harry yells.

"Oh right." Louis turns back around and runs towards Harry.

I walk inside of the room and close the door behind me, not being able to even try and hide my laughter at Harry and Louis trying to get the zipper out of Harry's boxers.

"Guys, guys, hold up. Let me help." I say, making Louis let go with a heavy sigh and letting me take over.

"I don't know how the fuck you're going to-"

I cut Louis off when I pluck the stuck zipper away from Harry's crotch without touching him inappropriately and clap my hands together happily. "There you go, man." I grin, making Harry smile and look in the mirror as he zips up his pants quickly.

"Okay, bro. Are you ready?" Louis asks with a heavy sigh, reaching up to place his hands on Harry's shoulders from behind him.

"Slightly nervous but so ready to see her." Harry says, a light pink tint beginning to grow on his cheeks. He looks at me with wide emerald eyes. "Is she okay?"

"She's perfect." I nod.

Harry let's out a nervous chuckle and checks the time on his watch.

"We better get out there, it's almost time." He says. "Is the best man and bridesmaid ready?" Harry asks, quirking up an eyebrow.

"So ready!" Louis exclaims, clapping his hands together as he rushes towards the door and runs out into the hallway to get to the ballroom.

"Pumped as fuck." I add, clapping my hands as well before turning around and walking out, not wanting to break my ankle with these black heels on if I run. "Louis, wait up!" I exclaim, seeing him about to enter the ballroom along with other guests.

"Let's do this shit!" I hear Harry exclaim from behind me, making me stop and turn around to look at him with my hands on my hips. He stops as well with wide eyes.

"What?" He asks frantically.

"Your getting married to Diane, be a little more respectful about it." I snap.

"Let's do this,beauty?" He smiles.

"Better." I nod contentedly. "Now, are you ready?" I ask, making my face serious again.

"So ready."

"I can't hear you, Harry." I say, leaning closer to him.

"I'm ready!" He says before rushing past me and towards the open doors. I follow him quickly and enter the ballroom myself.

The decorations, the aura, it's absolutely beautiful. I have to stop to take in everything and appreciate the feeling it brings.

It oddly smells like cinnamon and is decorated in white and purple flowers. The cake is also a pure white and is decorated in purple frosting. The carpet the bride has to walk on is a bright violet. The seating are white chairs with purple strands of streamers going across it, purple flowers attached at the end. The whole room is basically purple and pristine white. Very aesthetically pleasing.

Diane was so stressed the whole time she was planning and felt terrible taking time off of her job because she wanted to keep making money, but her wedding was so much more important to her, and also Harry. So it worked out and she finally calmed down because of his reassurance.

I ship them so hard.

Their ship name should be Darry.

I'm going to try and make that a thing.

"Rauline." I hear an out of breath voice say in the distance. I turn my head to see the wedding planner and designer, Zayn, running up to me. I smile at him as he holds up a flower to me. "This is your corsage, put it on quickly please and strut up to that stage because girl, everything has got to be perfect." He says as I take the flower with a light chuckle.

"Okay, Zayn. And seriously, everything is perfect already. Don't worry too much. The rest of your hair is going to fall out." I laugh.

"You really think so?" He grins, putting his hands on his hips and looking around excitedly.

"Yes. Definitely. And your white suit, on point." I punch his shoulder playfully.

"Why thank you, you look great yourself, Rauline." Zayn smiles. He looks past me and his features suddenly go hard again. "Hey! Get that kid away from the cake!" He yells as he rushes past me.

I slide the corsage onto my wrist and turn to walk up to the front of the ballroom. I see Louis talking to Harry's father.

I join two other girls, Diane's sisters, who actually look exactly like her. I smile politely at them and take my place in the line of bridesmaids, behind them.

The chairs in the ballroom fill as people begin to sit down and stop talking. Harry's family on one side and Diane's on the other. Some little ones from Harry's and Diane's family join the other side. I never really knew how close their families were, but, it seems they are all really friendly with each other.

I feel my heart break slightly and my eyes burn a little as I think about my own family. And even Louis' family. How they would never meet and get along because my mother dropped me, my father is somewhere else with another woman, and I don't have any siblings who I could run to.

I sigh shakily and make eye contact with Louis who stands across from me, looking handsome as ever.

"You okay?" He asks, mouthing the words.

I nod quickly and smile brightly before looking away and to the closed doors.

The pianist takes his place and the melody of the song passes through my ears, creating a feeling of nice familiarity.

I watch as the doors open slowly, and Diane's little sister, a skinny small eight year old, walks down the aisle, throwing white flowers along the purple carpet.

My heart swells when I see Thomas standing behind her, the little boy holding a small pillow with the ring on top of it. He looks very handsome as well. Just like Louis actually with his brown hair slicked back, bright blue eyes on show, and his black suit fitting nicely.

The little girl stops at the end and goes to sit down while Thomas walks up to me to stand next to me and I put a hand on his shoulder, knowing he's just like me, nervous in front of such a large group of people.

My breath hitches when I see Diane appear, a tall man, her father, beside her with their arms locked together. I flicker my gaze to Harry to see him staring at her as well, mouth slightly agape. He's literally drooling. And I like that.

LATER

Music booms in my ears as the strobe lights dance around the room along with the guests.

"Looks like I taught Thomas well." Louis says with a sigh as he sits down beside me at a dinner table.

I look at Thomas to see him dancing with Diane's little sister who I learned her name is, Courtney. I burst out laughing and shake my head at the scene. It's honestly adorable though.

"That is my little boy, he is going to stay that way for a long time so it's a no from me." I say shaking my head.

"Well I disagree. It's definitely a yes from me, babe." Louis says, leaning back in his seat.

"Agree to disagree I guess." I say with a smirk as I look at him. He looks back at me and narrows his eyes before rolling them and standing up to stand in front of me.

He sticks his hand out in front of me, eyes gleaming, and his incredible smirk painted onto his lips.

"Would you like to dance, Ms.Paisely?" He asks, winking shortly after.

My heart flutters but I just send him a heavy sigh and look at my lap. "To be honest, I'm so comfortable sitting here, I really don't want to get up." I tell him, shaking my head.

"Way to ruin the mood, Rauline."

"Don't get your dick in a twist, I'll dance with you." I chuckle, standing up and grabbing his hand in mine gently.

"Yes." I hear him say and I turn around when we get onto the dance floor and grab his other hand.

For a second, we just stand there, looking at each other.

"So, Prince Charming, are we dancing or not?" I ask.

"I just realized something." He shrugs.

"What?"

"I don't know how to dance."

I chuckle and roll my eyes. "Your so stupid." I say, making him laugh as well as I simply put my arms around his neck and he then places his hands on my hips.

We sway for a while to the songs playing from the speakers.

I see Diane and Harry's father dancing together as Harry and Diane's father seem to be talking and having a drink. Both of their families and most of their friends that I don't know are dancing. The crowd is friendly and it's a great atmosphere to be in.

"Your designs for the clothing line were really good." Louis says suddenly.

I look at him and smile. "Thank you."

"I wasn't surprised, I had a feeling they would be."

"Oh stop. It wasn't that good."

"It was amazing, Rauline." He grins.

"Well, your great at your job."

"Thank you, it feels good to have some power for once."

"I'm glad." I nod.

"Want to do something tonight?" He asks.

"Like what?"

He shrugs. "Anything you desire."

I smile slightly and look down at my feet.

I haven't taken him back yet.

But I do live in that house. And I do wake up with him to go to work everyday after taking Thomas to a daycare. And I do make us plates of breakfast every morning when I can. And I do sleep in the bed with him. And I do feel his arms wrapped around me most nights and hear his heavy breathing in my ear, soothing me to sleep.

But we're still friends.

We haven't had sex for a long time. And we haven't kissed either.

Louis almost does it sometimes but I have to stop him.

He's respecting my space, testing me on what else he can and can't do which is okay and if he knows he can't do it, he won't. He's treating me with utter respect.

I look back up to make instant eye contact. "We should go to a hotel room. Just for a night."

Louis blinks. "Oh." He says. "What about Thomas?"

"We can leave him with Harry's father. The guy already loves Thomas." I tell Louis, flickering my gaze past him to see Harry's dad and Thomas dancing together. "It'll be a mending vacation. Just for a night , Louis." I say quietly, making him part his lips. "We've never vacationed together in the first place."

Louis swallows and nods quickly. "Your right." He says. "I guess we can ask."

"You seem hesitant."

His blue eyes widen. "No I'm not, I'm just..." he trails off with a heavy sigh. "Rauline." He mumbles while shaking his head. "You don't know what you do to me." He says, a small smile growing on his lips, making me smile brightly.

And he doesn't know what he does to me. But I stay silent.

Although I embrace him into a hug, the most passionate hug I could ever give a person and I hold him there while he holds me, for a while.

We even begin to sway with each other to the music, still hugging. My head rests on his shoulder and he rests his weight on me. We most likely look like that couple you either hate to watch or smile when you do but you need to look away quickly to not gag at the cheesiness of how we look.

"You look beautiful too."

"No I don't." I sigh. "But thank you."

"You do look beautiful."

"Nah, I've gained a lot of weight." I say, cringing slightly at my words as I close my eyes. I've been trying to ignore those thoughts for so long but after eating a plate of food, they're back.

"So what?" Louis chuckles.

I pick up my head and we stop dancing to look each other in eye. Louis quirks up an eyebrow and I do as well. "Can we sit down now?" I ask, suddenly feeling insecure.

He let's go of me and we walk back to the table to sit down.

"What's up?" He asks, turning to me.

"Nothing. I'm just suddenly tired."

"Okay. Well, What're you thinking?"

"When we can go to bed." I smile and finally look at him again.

"Why do you not believe your beautiful tonight, Rauline?"

"I just don't. Simple."

Louis sends me a bored expression.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"But-"

"No."

"But this-"

"No."

"Rauline." He huffs.

I look away from him.

"You don't know how beautiful I think you are. Inside and out." Louis says. When I don't look at him again he sighs heavily. "And you know I hate that cheesy boyfriend shit so just listen to me the first time."

"Fine. What?" I groan.

"It doesn't matter if you've gained a few pounds because, in fact, I haven't even noticed. But you seriously look stunning."

"My makeup looks on point but my body-"

"Is gorgeous." Louis interrupts.

I purse my lips.

"Just listen to me."

I don't say anything.

And then I feel his hand on my thigh.

"I can make you feel just how beautiful you really are." He whispers closely in my ear, his lips brushing armhainst the skin, making me shiver slightly.

He then snakes his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him so there is literally no space between the both of us.

The music slowly works it's way into my ear again instead of his voice and I slowly rest my head on his shoulder, now very ready for this afternoon to end.
