Chapter 1
Dull.
Everything was dull.
Not just the feeling. The colours, too. Nothing was colourful. Everything had a shade of gray mixed with another colour. It either matched a happening or it completely didn't, not feeling right at all.
She can see them.
But they can't see her.
She's completely invisible. Humans nor animals can see. Nor ghost, demon, angel, or gods can see her. She never moves with the wind. She never moves with anything. She can see the motion but none of it affects her. She can't do anything with this world and this world can never do anything to her as long as she's in this...
Place.
But she does get a visitor once in a while. An always unwelcomed visitor. The visitor is the one who created this place. The one who created her.
The one who created everything.
Well, almost. He had to have help.
With trial comes error and He needed help. So, he created her to build His army. His army of Angels. Together, they all thrived in peace, joy, and thrill.
Everything was perfect.
Was.
Humans were introduced and things took a drastic twist. She noticed one of her angels started to grow negativity like confusion and anger. She wanted to help the angel but he pushed her away. He pushed her away so much that she couldn't help him when he turned on Him, his own father.
She was completely heartbroken that He threw the angel out of Heaven and into a new place called Hell. There, demons laid in the most darkest pits. She wasn't even allowed to visit the angel. Outraged, she ignored him for so long but she never dared to ignore her other angels.
It wasn't until great evil, bigger evil, started spreading. They were becoming aware of her existence and had gone through many attemps to use her as a weapon.
He stepped in.
And He cast her out too.
So, here she is now, looking at hummingbirds feeding from a bird feed while she sat on a bench in a thick garden. This garden was one of her favorites to visit, located in England. The day was bright with no cloud in sight. To them it was the perfect day to enjoy themselves. To her, it wasn't. Everything was dull. She hated the dullness becuase it always made her feel empty. She wishes for just a glimpse of colour to remind her how beautiful the world can be.
And her angels...
She can see them.
But they still can't see her.
She's seen everything that they've done. It did more than shatter her heart but no matter what, she still loves them.
She snapped out of her thoughts when a pure white butterfly fluttered into her gaze. It flapped around and about the bushes, looking for a flower to land on. She looked away from the playground to the butterfly as it landed on a daffodil.
All of the sudden, she heard the sound of glass breaking. She, confused, looked around only to see that there was no glass in sight. She looked forward to see the ground in front of her breaking! It cracked and chipped, bright light beaming through. She stood up in alarm and just stared at it as it continued to crack. The hummingbirds and butterfly kept doing their business like nothing was happening.
'What is going on?'
Could something be happening in her world? Or theirs? She didn't know.
The light became so bright that when the ground shattered completely she had to sheild her eyes.
She felt....wind.
Wind!
The air gushed around her like a cool blanket. She then suddenly felt the familiar warmth of the sun's rays. She exhaled as she brought her arms down to look around.
Colour.
She saw colour!
She lightly gasped in awe. She took a deep inhale and smelled the lovely scent of flowers and trees. Completely satisfying. She looked at the daffodil to see that the butterfly was still there. She looked at the hummingbirds and they were still there too.
'Am I really here?'
To test this out, she brought a hand up to the bird feeder and the hummingbirds flew away. They sensed her.
They sensed her!
She smiled, "I'm really here," she sighed as she heard a twig snap. She looked over to see an elderly man staring in shock and fear. To her she was just seeing another humam but to him he was seeing something unearthly and horrifying.
She wore white attire that fit her figure and had (h/c), (h/t) hair. She didn't have shoes but golden anklets and had a beautiful complexion. She would look completely normal if it wasn't for her face.
(The eye look above ⬆ but the iris is the one below ⬇)
Her eyes were like a dark abyss with bold white irises to stare hot daggers into your soul. Around her eyes were like small smokey black clouds that made here eyes look bigger and lastly, the veins tracing her face like tattooed lightning.
She could see that the old man's knees and mouth were shaking in terror. All she did was smile kindly, genuinely, and look around the colourful garden once more, savoring the sight before looking back at the man.
"Take care of this garden. It's too beautiful to go away."
And as fast as she came she vanished.
"Time to see who rescued me."
