Utwór jest zestawieniem postawy cnoty i wyrzeczeń z rozpustą. Im dalej tym bardziej przybiera to tylko charakter seksualny, ale nie warto całości do tego sprowadzać bo jest też mowa o zasadach moralnych i tradycji. Pierwsza zwrotka opiewa wstrzemięźliwość, nieuleganie pokusom i odporność na nie grupy w imieniu której wypowiada się podmiot (domyślnie chodzi o katolików). Druga poprzez taką samą budowę krytykuje słabość w tych kwestiach innej grupy (domyślnie nie-katolików). Refren jest podkreśleniem konieczności posiadania silnej woli aby podążać za zasadami Chrystusa czego konsekwencją jest odrzucenie tych zasad przez tych którzy są zbyt słabi mentalnie. Będąc słabi, wybierają Szatana który zaspokaja ich rządze i jest zamiennikiem dla zasad Chrześcijaństwa, ale zamiennikiem skierowanym do ludzi słabych, szukających dla siebie innego systemu moralnego który nie wymagał by od nich wysiłku, a dawał poczucie spełnienia i słuszności swojej drogi.

W skrócie: Ludzie odrzucają Chrystusa bo są zbyt słabi by żyć zgodnie z Jego nakazami, więc wybierają gwarantującego łatwe spełnienie Szatana, i szczycą się swoim wyborem.

Stwierdzenie pod koniec ,,tthey god damn went to hell'' to tak jak i u nas oznacza że ,,poszli do diabła'', jdnak nie chodzi tu o wyzwisko, a o to że po prostu po odrzuceniu Chrystusa poszli do diabła. Po pomoc.
