Five facts, hmm?

1) I have an extremely weird type of stage fear- I seem not to have one to most, but I feel nauseated when I think of talking or performing on stage or in front of other people. Looking at me, you'd think I am extremely confident in that and have no worries but I'm secretly scared. Once I hit the stage, though, every other thing melts away. Odd, isn't it?

2) I can beatbox (yes, yes, we all can, I know, but I can beatbox without playing the cello simultaneously 😂😂 Guess now you know I'm not Kevin Olusola!), and sing in general, but I ain't no Beyoncé or Pentatonix (or Eminem, 'cause I say I can rap).

3) Dance is my life! Every time I go to my class, I get so involved and it feels so liberating! 'Tis my fourth most favorite thing to do (after reading/writing, eating and sleeping)...

4) As you probably know, I write a lot of stories and stuff. The ironic thing though is that I connect the most with a book I've posted maybe three chapters of. I have the book planned for three sequels, and planning for the fourth is underway, but I just haven't written it and posted it properly...

5) I'm a witch in disguise, tbh. (Luna Lovegood says hi!)

Lol that doesn't exactly count so I'll add another.

I'm not against feminism or anything, I'm a female too, but I honestly feel that feminism is turning the balance far too much on the other side. Now, now, I know that there is still a lot of inequality between genders and races and whatnot. However, penalising men for every single thing they do is not right.

It irks me the most when I hear someone tell a guy to 'stop crying like a girl'. Like hey it's not only girls who can cry. Boys can too. Anyone irrespective of their gender can. It's called being human now.

We do need equality, but we should strive for actual equity too. It matters. Everything does. Everyone does. Okay, I'll stop before this turns into a fullfledged rant. Just a reminder that I am not in any way against feminism or gender equality.
