It's official; the sound of an alarm clock in the morning is the worst.

Kyo's pale hand reaching out and sluggishly tapping and swiping at her phone until the noise finally falls silent, her eyes sore and legs aching like crazy. 

Her intention was to go to bed after Law left but as luck would have it, Lotte returned quite soon afterward with company, very loud company at that, it would seem that her date with Kid went extremely well since he spent the night. 

Between the bed squeaking and Lotte's screams of pleasure, Kyo could hardly get any sleep, she turned the fan on in attempts to drone out the noises but when that didn't work, she then played some music on her phone and while it successfully muffled the lustful pair, it made falling asleep a lot harder. 

The girl rolling out of bed before she begins to stretch, a small groan rumbling in her throat as her bones click, apart of her really wishes she didn't have to get up yet but she can't risk being late for work - especially not today. 

Soon making her way over to her fish tank and turning on their daytime light with a subtle smile, her orbs watching the two swim whilst she drops a pinch of feed into the water, they seem to get along quite well though so that's a good sign.

Upon getting dressed and putting on her make-up, she leaves the room and beelines straight into the kitchen to make herself a coffee. She considers breakfast briefly but she hasn't quite gained an appetite yet, silently making a mental note to grab a bite on her lunch break instead.

Her gaze trailing toward a certain shirtless man sat at the dining table; his hair is red and tousled, scars adorning his face, chest and arm, he also has dark lipstick smudged across his mouth, his own eyes narrowing as his stare meets hers.

"What are you looking at?!" 

An annoyance. 

The girl merely choosing to ignore that as she takes her coffee, bringing her mug to her lips and taking a sip before making her way over to the table, taking a seat opposite the man although she doesn't learn her lesson from his little snap, her stare still reading him blatantly. 

He's clearly in a crappy mood which is supposedly meant to be rare from people who have just had sex, but this is Eustass Kid, she's almost certain he doesn't have a good side judging from what she's heard. 

Her eyebrows knitting as she watches him bring a beer to his lips, his amber eyes seemingly focused on his phone as his free hand taps away on his screen, looks like he's texting somebody. 

Although her attention is more fixated on the fact that he's drinking alcohol so early in the morning, the man finally glancing at her once again, his non-existent brows furrowing as a scowl etches itself into his features. 

"What the fuck are you gawking at, you little freak?!" His temperamental reaction finally causing her to frown herself, a slight glare in her eyes as she sets her coffee down and a slight pout traversing her features. 

"Don't talk to me like that, you ape."

"Then stop fucking staring at me!" 

Seems she has made a wonderful first impression on her roommate's boyfriend.

The girl simply rolling her eyes at his harsh words while her fingers softly trace her coffee mug, her attention shifting toward the window instead and deciding to observe the sunrise as Lotte's voice reaches her ears.

"I hope you two are getting along." She teasingly muses while emerging from her bedroom, clearly she heard them bickering, a smile still on her lips as she claims a seat within Kid's lap. The brunette wearing a loose men's shirt that stops at her thighs, presumably it's the clothing that Kid is missing, Lotte pressing a quick kiss to the man's lips before she speaks again. "She lives here too so you'll be seeing each other a lot, at least try to be nice." 

Kyo would wager he grimaced at that but it doesn't bother her much, her mind is instead drifting to her father, her and Law are beginning to get a little serious so perhaps telling her parental figure about him would be wise, before he finds out from somebody else. 

"Does she always fucking stare though?!"

"Yeah, you'll have to get used to that."

Most of the time she doesn't even realize she's doing it, she just likes to analyse people.

The redhead taking another sip of her coffee whilst half-listening to the couple as they murmur about meeting up after work, silently hoping that Eustass doesn't spend the night again quite yet but since the pair are officially dating now, she'd presume it's something she'll have to get used to. 

"How many dates have you two been on?" Her sudden question causing Lotte's brow to raise whilst Kid glares down at her, the man clearly not at all interested in telling her anything about his private life.

"Three." The brunette being the one to respond, gaining herself a scowl in return from her lover, not that it seems to faze her at all, her fingers still combing through his wild locks carelessly. "You might want to wait a little longer before you and Law sleep together though."

"I intend to..."

"Wait! Trafalgar Law?!" Kid blurts with an amused grin, the redheaded male finally seeming to catch onto why the girl asked such a question now, a snort escaping him as he glowers down at the redhead. "You're screwing around with Trafalgar? Ha, what a match, two creeps!"

She doesn't miss how Lotte grips his hair at that comment, giving it a brief but firm tug as a discreet punishment. "Remember that he's my cousin, Mr. Bastard..~" The brunette's voice playful but still harbouring a threatening kick to it, making it abundantly clear that she will not tolerate disrespect toward her family. 

Judging by Kid's expression, one would assume he doesn't like the idea of playing nice with Law but at least he doesn't vocally argue, instead merely just huffing before he leans into his girlfriend's neck, nibbling a little at her skin.
