They said it would be painless...

The redhead stares at the bandage on her arm as she lounges in the bathtub, the nurse gave her some local anaesthetic before inserting the contraceptive implant and the injection itself seemed to last mere seconds, it was easy but as the hours have ticked away, she's beginning to feel the dull aching sensation. 

She had told Lotte about it since Law is still at work and Kid is thankfully absent and unable to heckle her, the brunette was kind enough to run her friend a hot bath with bubbles in response, she claimed it will help her relax and admittedly, it has done.

Since Kyo has lived in this apartment, she has mostly used the shower to get clean since it's quicker, it feels like a long time since she has allowed herself to have a long soak in a nice bath. 

It feels so soothing and the smell of the bubbles is simply gorgeous, the aroma has a subtle hint of berry to it, the product itself is called 'detox' and detox she most certainly shall.

Kyo's arm finally resting over the edge of the tub whilst her free hand lightly prods at the small rod underneath her skin, the action sparks a slight jolt of pain but she was braced for that at least.

It feels so strange...

They recommended that she still uses condoms during 'bedroom antics' for the next 7 days to give the implant a chance to work, not that it's a problem since her and Law haven't had sex since their first encounter.

She isn't quite sure if it's because Law didn't find her too satisfying or if he's just shy, the man is very hard to read compared to most, perhaps that's why she finds him so endearing. 

A sudden knock on the door soon snaps her out of her thoughts however, her brown orbs shifting toward the wooden barrier as Lotte's muffled voice sounds; "You okay in there? You haven't fainted or anything, have you?"

This cousin of his is also quite intriguing; she's definitely a tease and a fighter in some ways but she also has a caring and soft side, she's protective when she feels she needs to be, it's rather unexpected but not necessarily a bad thing.

"I'm fine." The redhead calmly calls back, she can almost make out a discreet sigh of relief from beyond the door, the brunette's voice filling with a sense of confidence as she speaks her next sentence.

"Good! I bought you some pizza, you better eat it!" 

And there it is again, the slightly protective streak. 

What an interesting woman...

"Yes, I'll be out in just a moment." Kyo already beginning to rise while answering with this, stepping out of the bath and wrapping a towel around her shoulders before reaching into the tub and pulling the plug, drying off her body whilst watching the water drain. 

She still remembers her first bath after Mihawk took her in, it was the first time she had ever been washed or even seen a tub in her life, she used to be terrified of the water draining - perhaps in her young mind, she thought it would swallow her too.

How silly.

She soon slips into her dressing gown, securely fastening the belt before stepping out into the main room, still taking the towel with her and using the material to dry her hair. 

She instantly notices Lotte sprawled out on the couch with a slice of pizza in hand and watching some kind of crime documentary on TV, Kyo taking a seat on the armchair beside her but making sure to keep her legs closed so that her roommate doesn't get scarred for life by the sight of her 'unmentionables', a small smirk tugging on her lips as she watches the show.

"I didn't know you liked these kind of programs, are you expecting Eustass to make an appearance?" Her light teasing at least doesn't offend the brunette at all, the girl letting out a small snicker as she watches the redhead reach for a slice of pizza herself. 

"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised." She softly jests before grabbing another piece, a content smile playing on her lips as she relaxes into the cushions. "This episode is about some farmer who went crazy one day and killed his wife, apparently he got away with the murder and went on to kill vulnerable women also. This is the story of how they finally caught him."

"Hm...I see." Sometimes she understands why Mihawk is so reluctant about her getting a boyfriend, you never really know what some men are capable of. "May I ask you something?"

"Mmh--!" The brunette currently in the process of chewing her food but she nods her head regardless, waiting until she swallows before finally speaking properly. "Go ahead!"

"How do you know that Kid is attracted to you?" She doesn't miss how her roommate frowns at that, quite understandably so, she didn't word it very well at all. "I mean, if you try to sleep with him, does he ever...hesitate?" 

"Hesitate? Eustass Kid? No way!" Lotte's expression at least relaxes with that, it would seem she understands what the redhead is trying to say now. "So, what you mean to ask is; how do you know if Law is attracted to you?"

"...Yes, that might be the correct terminology." The response seems to amuse Lotte nonetheless, the girl letting out a soft snort as she finishes off the rest of her pizza, leaning back into the couch and redirecting her attention back toward the TV.

"Well...Law is subtle, I somehow doubt he'd grab you and erm...have his way with you like Kid does to me." Suddenly, Kyo regrets asking such questions, a small grimace making it's way to her face as she averts her gaze, her mind blanking when it comes to things to say - though Lotte isn't even finished so her silence is at least disregarded. "I guess you could show off some of your assets with a short and tight dress, try to see if he blushes or maybe even shivers when you touch him, let your hand travel near his groin without fully granting him the touch - that drives Kid crazy, somehow I think it would work on most men!" 

"A short and tight dress?" That is something she's willing to wear but the idea of groping the man makes her anxious, she hasn't done anything so bold yet, she isn't quite sure what he would do or if he'd even like that. 

"Yeah, one that curves your ass perfectly, you might wanna wear thin underwear for this also!"

"I don't own--"

"--Or lacy, lacy underwear works too! And It'll drive any man with a pulse insane!" The brunette ruthlessly continuing, her eyes shining with emotion, it would seem that she is speaking from experience. "Now I'm gonna pretend we're not talking about my cousin for a minute, if you don't mind but, maybe search his internet history to see what kind of porn he likes. If it's nothing too heavy then maybe you can re-enact it?"

Oh, Lord...

"Somehow I don't think he'd appreciate me going through his--"

"OR, better yet, you could dress as a slutty nurse! He's a doctor, right~? That'll be a thrill for him, no doubt!" The brunette's expression seems to shift between fantasy and thoughtfulness, it would appear that she has tried a few of these kinks she's stating or that she at least wants to one day. "Also, if there's a part of your body that he seems to pay more attention to then use that, flaunt it at him and he'll practically devour you~!"

A part of my body that he pays more attention to?
