2021 has begun as a year of learning new techniques.

1. I learned a new style: Blend real photos or real people with graphics or sketches.

2. I learned how to do glowy font.

3. I experimented making Steampunk and Sci-Fi covers.

4. I also realized that I could make my covers all in my color scheme of sunset colors.

So, here's all that in here.

I've been shying away from using people on my covers because I got into the silhouette, Victorian-Era vibes kind of covers for a while. But for this book, I decided to go Cassandra Clare style. Person on top, city on bottom, big bold text.

But, I still kept away from faces. I don't like human faces on covers :P Animals are fine.

I really like this cover. Came together just how I wanted it to. You know, it's very rare to find people that fit your character perfectly. Also, it's very rare to make a cover exactly how you envisioned it. Usually, I might make one and be "meh" about it but use it anyway because I have no idea what to do. Weeks later, I might try to remake it. Then fail. Then remake. Then fail...some covers on this account have been BRUTAL to me. 

ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL.

But this one? I think Jack was helping me out. He can do a little bit of everything, after all ;)

Idk how Steampunk it is though, but my story is Steampunk without punk anyway, and also hardly any steam XD I'm new to the genre. Clueless, but I had fun writing the story of a cursed jerk that gets exposed.
