Penny's POV

Me and my friends headed out of the lunchroom and towards the cooking room. I was pretty excited for this class not just because we were all in it. I loved to bake. It's something I used to do other than shooting films. It's so much fun.

Hiro's POV

The one thing I didn't like other than acting was cooking. I was never even good. One time Aunt Cass let me help her make goodies for the cafe and I almost burned down the kitchen. I let all of my family bake or cook or do anything in the kitchen from then on. Since this was an elective we had to take for school, I'm forced to do it. All well I guess I gotta make the best of it right?

Wilbur's POV

All of us headed into the room and sat at a round table that all of us could sit at. It was pretty sweet. I've never made something on my own really before. It's always been made for me and not really something I needed to worry about.

We were first introduced to what baking was about. It seemed simple enough. Ms. Lubas said we could pick a group of three or four to do our first assignment; to create cookies. My friends and I immediately chose each other. We were given instructions and a work area. Sounds fun.

Violet's POV

Doesn't sound fun at all! Yes, I've made cookies before with Penny. I just never would do it in my free time.

First we all looked at the instructions. I read the first step and turned to them, "We have to prepare the batter." Wilbur raised a finger, "Got it!" He went over to the counter and was looking for something. He put his hands on the wall and tried pushing it. I heard him mumble, "Where are the buttons in this place..?" I shook my head, "Wilbur what are you doing?" He looked over at us. There was a pause till he replied, "That is an excellent question."

Wilbur's POV

Hey, at home there are buttons and machines for everything. Is it a huge problem that I thought there were stuff like that in cooking class?

Violet's POV

I groan. Penny grabbed the instructions, "Well to make the batter we need flour, 3/4 cup of water, some..." I kind of blocked out what she said at the very end and started to find the ingredients. I went through the cupboards and found flour and put it on the table. I got a cup from the counter, measured 3/4 as I filled it with water and set that on the table. The guys just stood there confused of what to do. Fine, just leave the girls to do it.

Penny's POV

We soon had everything for the batter. I told Hiro to start mixing the ingredients, and Wilbur and Violet to find the frosting and the cookie cutters. It seemed as though I was the one in charge. It's funny. I've never thought of myself as a leader before. I guess in the kitchen I am.

So then the batter was made and put into a pan. We cut out some shapes and put them in another pan. I turned to Hiro, "Hey could you set the cookies into the oven, Hiro?" He hesitated looking at the oven, "Um..I think someone else should do it." I shrug, "Oh that's fine." Wilbur shot up, "I'll do it!" Violet crossed her arms, "Go ahead."

Wilbur grabbed the pan and set it into the oven. I went over to make sure he set the temperature right so the cookies don't over bake, "Wilbur, did you set the-" Someone left a rag on the floor and I slipped on it. I yelped and landed into someone's arms. It was Wilbur. He laughed, "Yes I did." I smiled at him.

Violet's POV

I look over and see Penny in Wilbur's arms and a shot of anger went through me. I clenched my fist. Then I felt a hand rest on my shoulder. I look and see Hiro. Hiro asked, "Are you okay?" I turned away and went to the counter, "Yeah why wouldn't I be?" He just shrugged at me. He leaned against the counter, "You seem..tense." He looked towards the oven, "Are you jealous?"

I froze. I sneak a glance at Hiro, "What?" Hiro repeated, "Are you jealous of Penny?" I thought for a moment. I turned around having my back against the counter and see Wilbur and Penny looking into the oven like two little kids waiting for a treat. I see Hiro who's looking back at me waiting for an answer. I sighed, "Kind of," I thought of something, "Are you jealous of Wilbur?"

Hiro shook his head from side to side. He hummed, "Umm maybe. But Wilbur knows I like Penny and wouldn't turn on me." I rolled my eyes, "I guess." Hiro then sat up more and said, "Tadashi!"

Tadashi?! A smile crept on my face. I've always had a small crush on Hiro's older brother. I turned around and grinned happily as I saw him walking toward us. Tadashi has on his usual smile but it seemed a bit bigger today, "Hey guys." I laid my head into my hands, "Hey Tadashi.." I stare dreamily at his beautiful brown eyes..what was I doing before this?

Hiro's POV

I looked weirdly at Violet as she stared at my brother. Why is she acting so..not herself? It got me confused and strangely figetity around the new her. Tadashi didn't seem very comfortable either but he stuck it out, "..Hey Violet." I asked Tadashi curiously, "So have you, you know?" Tadashi then had a huge smile on his face, "Yep I did Hiro and now I feel complete! I actually asked out Honey Lemon!"

He was pretty loud and everyone turned to him. Tadashi was flaming red as he realized that the whole class heard him. I just laughed. Tadashi whispered to me, "I'm gonna go.." Then he headed back to his station. I noticed Violet not smiling anymore. I just shrugged it off.

Violet POV

Soon the cookies were done and we were ready to frost them..not Jack Frost heh heh. We all got frosting and started to frost. I saw Hiro and Penny frosting side by side talking away.

I sighed. I wish I had..what they had. They can talk to each other and care about each other. I had no one, but I guess that's okay too. Well soon this will all be over, and me and Wilbur will have our da--hang out time...since we never hang out. Heh heh.

Yeh.. Anyway we were done making cookies and stuff and Language Arts with Shakespeare and soon we were done with school and headed home to do our own stuff. Hiro was going with aunt Cass to the store, Penny went to go home get animal food, me and Wilbur...we're going I hang out. It's going to be just fine. It's not a date and me and Wilbur are going to be just friends. That's it.
