My life was in ashes.

You burned me until I died inside.

You ruined me.

You hurt me.

You stabbed me

I lay bleeding, dying.

You thought I was finished.

But, you were wrong.

I rose up, out of the ashes of my life.

I picked myself up,

I dusted myself off.

You did not break me.

You could not break me.

You will not break me.

And I will not let you destroy me.

I will not let you have the last laugh.
