How could you?

All the times we've laughed together,

Cried together,

Whispered our deepest thoughts to each other...

How could you?

All this time, I trusted you.

I thought you would be there for me,

That you had my back,

Fighting against those who hurt me,

Like I would have done for you.

But, now I know:

You couldn't fight against yourself.

You took what was mine,

Shamelessly stealing one of the few good things that has ever happened to me.

I thought we had each other's backs.

I thought you were a true friend.

Tell me one thing:

How could you do this to me?
