The first scene shows the surface of the planet Möbius with invading ships in the sky. Y/n, in the distance, watches from afar before he closes his helmet over his face.

Our world's about to break
Tormented and attacked!

Y/n leaps forward with his shield out front, the scene transitioning to Mobius as Shadow The Hedgehog is seen looking over a cliff.

Lost from when we wake

Sonic is then seen as he speeds around Knothole.

With no way to go back!

Y/n latches his shield to his arm as he activates his Ring Blade.

I'm standing on my own

Y/n was then seen standing against Infinite with a Badnik army behind him...

But now I'm not alone!

... only for the Freedom Fighters to walk up behind Y/n as the knight raises his shield into the air.

"Freedom Fighters! Assemble!"

They all rush forward to attack as does the Badnik army and Infinite, the two clashing head-on.

Always we will fight as one
Till the battle's won!

Sonic speeds around the battlefield as the Chaotix and others take down more robots.

With evil on the run
We never come undone!

Knuckles lifts a giant Badnik over his head and tosses it at some smaller ones as Shadow uses his Chaos Powers to take down more Badniks.

Assemble, we are strong
Forever fight as one!

Sonic and other Freedom Fighters cut through the Badnik army as Tails flies into the battle, piloting the Tornado as he shot at some Badniks. Y/n also dispatches some Badniks before he opens up his helmet and looks up to see Infinite nearby, watching him.

Assembled, we are strong

Y/n closes his helmet over his face and leaps forward to Infinite, the jackal doing the same as the two prepared for battle.

Forever fight as one!

In The Crusader, quiet snores are heard as beams of light seep through the cockpit window. The beams strike a sleeping Bunnie in the face, making her groan a bit and stir. Her face scrunches in discomfort and she stretches her arm out in an attempt to find Y/n, but she only feels the jet floor she rested on.

Finally sitting up and opening her eyes, Bunnie groggily looked around the jet to find no sign of Y/n. Yawning, she assumed he went out to get more food or something similar. Once she stopped yawning, she realized she had a slightly sore feeling in her... lower regions, making her look down at herself and see that she was fully naked. Y/n's cape was the only thing keeping her from showing off her body.

She stands to her feet and searches for her clothes, bite marks being revealed on certain parts of her body as she puts her clothing back on. She then walks out of The Crusader and looks around before she takes notice of a message in the sand.

GOOD MORNING, BUN
WENT FISHING
BE BACK SOON

Bunnie smiles at the message and looks over to a fire nearby that was still burning. Seeing food by it, the rabbit walks up to it and sits down on one of the rocks. There was another message in the sand.

MADE BREAKFAST
ENJOY <3

Bunnie: *smiles* "Thanks, N/n."

She picks up the premade food and begins to dig in. However, unknown to her, something was watching her from the trees.

Meanwhile...

With Y/n, he was seen with a happy smile on his muzzle as he was back at the pond spearing for fish. As he did so, he spoke to himself.

Y/n: "Why, thank you, Sally. We are a great couple, huh? Oh, be quiet, Knuckles. You try to tell a girl your feelings for her when you have barely any experience at doing it."

As he speared for fish, Y/n was making up conversations that "could happen" when he and Bunnie tell their friends about their new relationship. As she does so, he stabs his Ring Blade into a passing fish and raises it out of the water.

Y/n: "Nom-nom."

The jackal jokes as he tosses the fish over to a small pile of fish on the grass nearby.

Y/n: "Heheh. Kinda surprised we did it basically right off the bat, though. Guess it was in the heat of the moment, but that doesn't mean I didn't mind it."

Y/n remembers the previous night, a small blush forming on his muzzle as he recalls what happened. He smiles all the same, though, as he enjoyed last night. He was pretty sure Bunnie enjoyed it as--

"AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"

Y/n's head shot up at the scream, snapping his head to look over at the camp where he and Bunnie slept at. Terror immediately rose in him, but it quickly turned into anger as he charged into the jungle to hurt the person trying to touch his new lover.

With said lover, Bunnie dodged a large, camouflage-colored metallic hand that smashed into the ground, trying to grab her.

Bunnie: "What're Combots doin' 'ere?!"

Three giant robots colored in a Military camo design stood before Bunnie. They had seemingly came from nowhere and started to attack her, trying to capture her for some reason.

Combot #1: "Get back here, filthy organic!"

One said and manifested an electric whip from its arm, swinging it at Bunnie who gets hit by it. The whip wraps around her, electrocuting her as she screams out in pain. Another Combot reaches out to grab her, but its arm is suddenly cut to shreds by an unseen force. Then that same force cuts through the electric whip that held Bunnie, freeing her from it as she gasps and falls to the ground.

She's suddenly picked up and brought over to the jet, her savior only a blur of black and white as she stares in shock. However, she already knew who her savior was. It could've only been one person.

Y/n: "GO TO HELL!"

Without using any form of weaponry, Y/n charged at the trio of Combots in anger. He shoulder rammed into the closest one to him and sent it flying back, crashing into the rocks behind it. One of the Combots aims its palm at Y/n and sprays him with something, but it does next to nothing as it became the enraged Y/n's next target.

The Meta-Möbian rammed right into the Combot and tore right through it with a mighty punch, making a hole in its chest. It falls forward on its face and Y/n grabs its leg, spinning the robot around before throwing it at the second one. They tumble to the ground as the one Y/n knocked away stood to its feet and charged at Y/n. It threw a fist at Y/n, only for the jackal to return the favor as their fists clashed. Unlike previous opponents he clashed fists with, no shockwave was made as the force of Y/n's punch blows the Combot's arm off and sends it tumbling to the ground. Then Y/n yelled as he jumped into the air and landed on the robot's chest, denting it from the impact before slamming his fists into its face. Its reduced to flattened metal in mere seconds.

Y/n calm down a bit before he turns to see Bunnie watching him. He walks up to her to see if she was okay.

Y/n: "Are you alright, Bunnie? What did they do to you? Who sent them? I'll hurt them."

Bunnie: "C-calm down, surgah! Ah'm fine, really! They just caught me off guard. Ah never expected Combots ta be 'ere."

Y/n: "What's a "Combot"?"

Bunnie: "There a version of SWATBots and Shadowbots. Actually, there more advanced."

Y/n: "Wait, then what are they doing here?"

Bunnie: "Ah dunno."

Y/n furrows his brow as he turns to look at the fallen Combots.

Y/n: "Looks like it's time we find out."

Timeskip...

Later, Y/n, now in his armor, and Bunnie are seen trudging through the island's jungle as they're in search for whoever sent the Combots.

Y/n: "So, Bun, since you're more adjusted to these things, who do you think these "Combots" are working for? Eggman?"

Bunnie: "Maybe, but if it were him, someone woulda notice by now an' call us in."

Y/n: "So it may be someone else controlling them, then?"

Bunnie: "It's possible."

As the two trudged through the jungle, Y/n was using his nose to track down where the Combots came from. Due to his keen sense of smell, he took in the scent of the Combots and was so far following it. You would think it'd be difficult in a jungle full of so many smells, but the smell consisted of metal and gasoline and electricity. Pretty easy to single it out among... other smells. Plus, with the super-powering affect of the Super-Soldier serum (and the Source of All) running through him, using his nose to track scents was basically like looking at a 3-D map.

Bunnie: "How far are we from the Combot base, surgah?"

Y/n takes a whiff of the air before responding.

Y/n: "We're close. Right past these trees."

Nodding, Bunnie follows Y/n past a couple of trees before they arrive at a cave entrance. Y/n walked up to it and sniffed inside it before taking a few steps back.

Y/n: "Whoa! That's the strongest smell I've smelt!"

Bunnie: "But is it the place?"

Y/n: "Oh, yeah. Definitely. The smell of machines is horrid in there."

Bunnie giggles a bit before she and Y/n walk into the cave. It would've been pitch black if Y/n hadn't activated his Ring Blade, illuminating the darkness of the cave. They walk through the cave in silence in fear that even a single word would draw unnecessary attention to them. However, they soon walked into an area illuminated by some lamps, letting Y/n to turn off his Ring Blade. He took a whiff of the air once more.

Y/n: "We're heading in the right direction. Come on."

Bunnie: "Right behind ya."

The two then made their way forward, but at a quicker pace this time as they now know there's someone manufacturing something in the cave. However, they soon came across a huge cavern inside, skidding to a stop before the ran off the ledge of a walkway. The entire place was illuminated even brighter than the cave entrance, and down below were machines putting together what seemed to be an army of Combots.

Y/n: "Holy moly..."

Bunnie: "This is insane..."

The two looked down to see active Combots this time walking around. Some looked to be patrolling the area, while other looked like they were supervising the construction of the robot army.

Bunnie: "Machines buildin' machines? Talk 'bout perverse."

Y/n: "Tell me about it. Now I now how the Humanites felt when they saw stuff like this."

He turns to Bunnie.

"Come on. Let's go."

She nods, following Y/n through the cavern manufacturing plant as she didn't question what he said about Humanites. Thanks to Y/n's stories, Bunnie knew exactly what Humanites were. They were peaceful space travelers who loved to explore the stars. Some things they saw were incredible and admirable, while others were... more sick and horrid.

The two soon found themselves coming across what seemed to be a room. They looked around the place before they heard the sounds of robots approaching, making them run behind a pillar to hide. Once they hid, voice became noticeable as two robots enter the room.

???: "I am very confident that once I succeed in obliterating Robotnik and the Freedom Fighters, half of the Empire will rally behind my cause."

Commander Combot: "Aren't you afraid the others would consider this as treason, my lord?"

To get a better look at who was talking, the two lovers take a peek from behind the pillar. both of their eyes to go wide as they recognize the tall green robot designed after a crocodile.

Crocbot: "Please. As if they're any better. I wouldn't even be surprised if that mad witch Ferrum is already plotting her own little takeover. She'll be dealt with once I've finished my own little plan."

Commander Combot: "Of course, my lord."

Bunnie let out an audible gasp, gaining the attention of Crocbot. Just before the rebuilt robot could turn to see who gasped, Y/n pulled Bunnie back behind the pillar with him and covered her mouth to prevent her from making any more noises. Crocbot narrowed his eyes and stepped toward the pillar, leaning forward to see if he could catch the sign of any intruders. It was like a scene in a horror movie where a ferocious and murderous monster was searching for the hiding protagonists. However, before he could get close to spotting Y/n and Bunnie, another Combot ran into the room.

Random Combot: "My lord, there are intruders on the island! Scouts had just discovered three destroyed Combot soldiers on the beach next to a jet and camp!"

Crocbot growls before he stands back up and turns to the Combot.

Crocbot: "Send out more scouts and search for them! They could already be inside the base. Wound them, but don't kill them. I want to see who it is first."

Complying with their master's orders, the two Combots run out of the room to get scouts. Crocbot lingered in the room for a few moments more before he leaves as well. Y/n finally uncovers Bunnie's mouth as she takes in some deep breathes before shakily speaking.

Bunnie: "A-Ah can't believe it... Of all the Sub-Bosses ta still be around, Ah never woulda imaged that Crocbot would still be among 'em."

Y/n: "What do you mean, Bun?"

Bunnie: "Sonic an' Tails told us how, when they found him, without arms or legs, he was mind controllin' Bill and nearly caused a civil war in Downunda. But when they found out it was all fo' payback, they stopped him and left him ta be tried under Downunda's law. How he gotta new body an' legion is beyond me."

Y/n took a moment to ponder this as well before he slowly came to a possible answer.

Y/n: "Enigma..."

Bunnie turned to Y/n in terrified shock.

Bunnie: "Y-you don't think...?"

Worst case scenarios played in Bunnie's head as she remembers all that the rogue AI did. If he was back and using Crocbot's body to grow and command an army, everything they've done to stop him would be erased. It would be back to square one. However...

Y/n: "I doubt it. If this Crocbot tried to assassinate the original Ivo Robotnik, I don't think Enigma would risk it. ADAM was an AI designed to be loyal, so he was easy pickings. But from what I've heard, both your Zone's Crocbot and my Zone's Krocbot were both snakes. He'd never let someone like him get too close. Close enough for a new body and a possible alliance, maybe, but not a done deal. Enigma's smarter than that. Cold war tactics, basically."

Bunnie calmed down a bit, relaxed at the fact that Enigma was still gone. But she was still on red alert at the fact that Crocbot was still alive and kicking, and making a new robot army.

Bunnie: "We need ta stop him."

Y/n: "I'm with ya on that. And I have a plan."

Bunnie: "Already?"

Y/n: "I'm a soldier. What do you expect? I got a plan for everything."

Bunnie raises a brow as she gives her new lover a "Are you sure about that?" look. Y/n chuckles nervously as he blushes.

Y/n: "Well... almost everything."

Bunnie giggles a bit before kissing Y/n on the cheek, making his tail wag slowly.

Bunnie: "Alright, surgah. What's the plan?"

Y/n smiles and goes to tell the cyborg rabbit his plan.

Timeskip...

Later, Y/n is seen being held by his feet as he hangs upside down. A Combot holds him up so he couldn't escape with a few more Combots walking with them. Bunnie watched the jackal's plan unfold almost perfectly from above.

Bunnie: "Ah gotta stop undahestimatin' N/n's plans."

With that, the Freedom Fighter ran off in search for the control room. The whole plan was that Y/n would cause a distraction and get himself captured and distract Crocbot while Bunnie had the job of finding the facility's control room and shutting everything off. She couldn't tell who had the easier job.

Back with Y/n, he was brought into a room slightly larger than the one he and Bunnie were in before. He looked forward to see Crocbot and a few more Combots behind him.

Y/n: "Well, hello there."

Crocbot examined Y/n a bit before laughing.

Crocbot: "Seriously? This is the intruder? He's just one Mobian wearing a costume!"

He laughs aloud, the Combots joining him for a bit before they stop. Crocbot steps forward and leans in closer to Y/n.

Crocbot: "Who are you? Who sent you?"

Y/n: "Well, I'm Y/n. I was sent on a recon mission by the Freedom Fighters to see why some supply shipments weren't arriving for the last few days. My jet malfunctioned and crashed here. You're Crocbot, I assume?"

Crocbot: "You assume correctly, "Y/n". And those supply shipments you've been looking for? Well, I'm the one who's been taking them and using them to make my new army."

Y/n: "Thought as much. Honestly, this is a good project you're working on."

Crocbot: "Excuse me?"

Y/n: "I mean, seriously. You're doing this all by yourself? That's a feat, man. Though, not surprising since you used to work under the original Robotnik. You probably got your smarts and leadership from him."

Crocbot raised a brow in confusion before he stands up straight with pride.

Crocbot: "Why, thank you. It's nice to get some recognition once in a while. It's even better when the enemy recognizes your greatness as well."

Y/n could only nod and agree with Crocbot as the crocodile robot went on and on about his greatness. If this Crocbot was anything like Krocbot, the Möbius version of Crocbot, he had an ego, and a big one at that. While Bunnie went to search for the control room and shut everything off, Y/n planned to distract Crocbot by stroking his ego like Bunnie stroked his--

Meanwhile...

Meanwhile, while Crocbot was telling Y/n how great he was, a few Combots were seen in what looked to be the control room. A knock is heard at the large steel door entrance, making some of the Combots look at it. One of them walk up to it and open the door, only to be swiftly cut in half, its top half falling to the floor with its legs following afterwards to reveal Bunnie standing in the doorway with Y/n's Ring Blade.

Bunnie: "Hi."

Random Combot: "Get her!"

All Combots in the room charge at Bunnie who jumps above them with her cybernetics and cuts off the heads off two of them. They fall to the floor and Bunnie turns to face the remaining three. One of them swings an electric whip at her, but she dodges this time and cuts off its leg before stabbing the energy swords into the side of another Combot.

The one with the severed leg falls to the ground as Bunnie pulls the Ring Blade out of the other Combot's side and then stabs it into the fallen one, disabling it. She then leaps away and avoids getting punched by the third which then aims its palm at her, shooting a spray at her. However, she covers her mouth to avoid inhaling it and charges at it via running up the one she stabbed. She slices up its body as she does so and leaps over it, allowing Bunnie to bring the sword down at the last Combot, slicing it clean in half as the two halves fall to the ground.

Bunnie smiles and takes a look at the Ring Blade.

Bunnie: "No wondah Surgah-N/n loves this thing. It's great!"

Giggling a bit, Bunnie deactivates the blade and runs up to the control panels.

Bunnie: "Alright. Now, which is which."

Meanwhile...

Back with Y/n, he was now bored, but pretending to be interested, as Crocbot had gone on about a lengthy explanation about how great he was and what he plans to do when he takes over the Eggman Empire.

Crocbot: "And then I'll make every Wednesday, Emperor Crocbot Day! Everyone will have to worship me and celebrate my greatness all day!"

Y/n: "Yes, lovely. You do know I'm going have to stop you, right?"

Crocbot: "And how do you expect to do that? You're captured."

Y/n: "Well, it's elementary, my dear Crocbot. By doing what heroes do best."

There was a moment of silence. Nothing happened for that time, making Y/n confused, along with Crocbot.

"I said, by doing what heroes do best."

Another moment of nothing passes.

"By doing what heroes do best?"

Nothing.

"Oh, come on!"

Meanwhile...

With Bunnie, she was still trying to figure out how to turn off everything in the facility.

Bunnie: "No, not you. Not you, and not you."

With Y/n...

Y/n groans a bit as Crocbot looks confused.

Crocbot: "I'm sorry, but was something supposed to happen?"

Y/n: "Yeah, actually. But, oh well."

Without any struggle, Y/n breaks free from the Combot's hold and lands on the ground on his feet. He takes out his shield as he gets ready to fight.

Crocbot: "Idiots! Kill him!"

The Combots listen to their leader and all go to attack Y/n, but the jackal knight easily dispatches them with a precise throw from his shield. Crocbot growls and roars at Y/n.

Crocbot: "Go die!"

He aims his arm cannon at the Meta-Möbian, only for the jackal to dodge the energy blast and shoulder rams him. He's sent flying back, crashing into the rock wall behind him. Y/n smirks before taking smelling the air, getting a whiff of Bunnie's scent and teleports to her.

Y/n: "Hey."

Screaming in shock, Bunnie jumps a bit and spins around to aim Y/n's Ring Blade at him, only to immediately calm down.

Bunnie: "Ya can't just do that, Y/n! Ah coulda just sliced you in half right there!"

Y/n: "Relax. It didn't happen, did it? Besides, I would've dodged it anyway."

Y/n states and opens up his helmet, walking up to Bunnie and giving her a kiss on her forehead.

Y/n: "Did you find the power switch yet?"

Bunnie: "Nope. All these controls don't 'ave any labels, so it's confusin'."

Y/n: "What about that switch over there?"

Y/n points at a switch nearby and Bunnie looks at it. It was big, and aimed upwards. She turned back to Y/n with a playfully annoyed look.

Bunnie: "That was next on the list."

Y/n chuckles a bit before he and his new lover walk over to the switch to pull it, only for something to crash through the floor and push the two back. They look to see Crocbot land in front of them.

Crocbot: "Two of you?! No matter. I'll kill you both!"

Standing up and aiming his laser cannon at the two, he opens fire. Y/n pushes Bunnie out of the way, allowing them both to avoid the blast. Then Y/n takes out his shield.

Y/n: "Bunnie! Catch!"

He throws the black, red, and white shield at the cyborg rabbit who immediately catches it. Knowing what her new lover was thinking, she spun around and threw the shield at Crocbot's face. He recoils back in shock as the shield bounces off his face and off a wall, back to Y/n who catches it and throws it at the robot again.

The two continue to use this tactic, taking turns throwing Y/n's Shield of Akorns at Crocbot as they dodge his laser attacks and even swings from his arm blade. Then Bunnie, still having Y/n's Ring Blade, sliced at Crocbot's leg, making him stagger a bit and Y/n throws his shield in his chest. Running across the wall, Y/n catches his shield again as he makes his way behind Crocbot.

Crocbot: "GET BACK HERE AND ACCEPT YOUR FATE!"

Bunnie: "As you wish!"

Bunnie says as she charges back at Crocbot, leaping at him as Y/n runs at his legs. Bunnie slams her cybernetic arm into the Badnik's chest as Y/n used his shield to crash into Crocbot's legs.

The force of each attack sent Crocbot off of his feet and crashing back down to the floor. He tries to get back up to his feet, but stops when Bunnie and Y/n keep him down.

Crocbot: "I'm not done yet! I will see my plan as reality! I WILL--"

Y/n cuts him off by crushing his head with his foot, taking the Badnik offline.

Bunnie: "Well... that was anticlimactic."

Y/n: "Definitely. And he's a Sub-Boss? My world's General Krocbot was more dangerous than this guy."

Bunnie: "Ah don't doubt it."

Bunnie winks at Y/n and walks over to the switch, pulling it down and powering off everything but the lights in the facility.

Y/n: "Oh, yeah. Definitely anticlimactic."

Once they turned off the power, the two lovers went around the facility to see that all of the Combots have been powered off as well. Yep. Talk about anticlimactic.

Timeskip...

After the two looked around the facility more, they discovered the stolen supplies that were meant for the rebuilding of that city in Downunda. They used some of those supplies and brought them to The Crusader to repair it.

Once repaired, and after Bunnie was able to put her cybernetics back 8n Advanved Mode, Y/n and Bunnie brought all the supplies they could to the city so they could rebuild their homes. They also contacted the Knothole Freedom Fighters, who have actually been searching for the two for the last week.

As of now, Bunnie and Y/n are seen in The Crusader once more as they fly back to Knothole. Y/n, who was at the pilot's seat again, had noticed Bunnie has been silent the entire time they've been in the jet. Growing curious, Y/n goes to see what's wrong.

Y/n: "Hey, Bun? You're being awfully quiet. Something wrong?"

Bunnie: "I-it's nothin'..."

Y/n: "I can when you're lying, Bunnie. What's wrong?"

Bunnie sighs in defeat and turns to Y/n.

Bunnie: "Ah'm... a bit afraid, surgah."

Y/n: "About what?"

Bunnie: "About... how the others will react ta us. What if they think Ah moved on from Antoine an' forgot 'bout him? That Ah... replaced him? They could reject the both a' us..."

Y/n: "Hmmm. Well, that's a possibility. But Bunnie, how long has it been since Antoine been gone?"

Bunnie: "... almost a year."

Y/n: "Exactly. And do you still miss him?"

Bunnie slowly nods.

Y/n: "There's something you should know: we never truly ever get over someone. Whether they leave us or they die. Trust me, I should know. But the important thing is to know that they're still watching over you and want you to be happy. Do you think Antoine wants you to be happy?"

Bunnie: *almost crying* "Y-yeah..."

Y/n: "And what makes you happy right now?"

Bunnie finally starts to smile as she stands up.

"You do, surgah."

She makes her way up to Y/n as the jackal speaks.

Y/n: "Then stay with what makes you happy. And if you want to keep us a secret, then I'm fine with that. As long as I'm with you, I'm happy."

Bunnie stands next to Y/n as she cupped his cheek with her organic hand.

Bunnie: "You'd do that fo' me?"

Y/n: "Anything for you, m'lady."

Bunnie smiles at this and kisses Y/n on the lips again, the jackal smiling as he kisses back. Yes, Bunnie makes him happy, and it's the same the other way around. And if he had to, Y/n will keep his and Bunnie's relationship a secret for all eternity, just as long as she's happy. If she's happy, he's happy.

(Bonus Scene)

Far away in the frozen hills of Acropolis, unknown figures are seen standing outside of a cave entrance. They were marching deep into its mouth before a glow shines before them, making the lead figure stop in their tracks. They take down their hood, revealing themself to be one of the many children of the deceased Uma Arachnis.

Arachnid #1: "Tell the rest of our kin to cease their searching and to immediately make their way to our location. And to bring the sword. After so long, we've finally found it."

Before the child of Arachnis, there was a pool of glowing golden liquid. Without a doubt it was the Source of All. However, within the pool was dark swirls that pulsed brightly. Something was wrong.

Everything goes dark before a hideous laugh echoes through the cave, sending shivers down the spines of anyone who had possibly heard it.
