Posession II (Mc x Gavin)
Youran's pov
Beep
Beep
Beep
It's so noisy...
Beep
Beep
Where am I...
Light entered my eyes and I found myself lying in a bed. My blurred vision soon cleared. 'A hospital..?' I looked up at the heart monitor next to me.
"Oh good, you're awake." A woman's voice said. "How are you feeling?"
My gaze was fixed on the ceiling. "What... happened..?" I tried to recall how I got here. Suddenly, it all came together. "Gavin... Where's Gavin?!" I shot up, only to feel immense pain throughout my body.
"Careful," the nurse adjusted my bed so that I could lean back. "You've been injured pretty bad."
I could still see it. He was collapsed on me as the ambulance came. A knife was stabbed into him and I could barely feel his breath. A few tears escaped my eyes as I feared the worst.
"Don't worry, your boyfriend is in the other room resting." A sigh of relief escaped my mouth, but soon, guilt crept over me. Once again, he risked his life to save me.
"Can I... see him?" I asked, my emotions were filled with concern.
"Of course," the nurse replied, helping me to stand up. My legs were shaking while I was leaning on her for support. "Take it easy, alright?"
I nodded. The nurse attached my IV bag to a movable pole. I leaned against it slightly, trying to regain my balance. She walked ahead of me, leading me to Gavin's room.
I could feel my heart drop once I saw him. Monitor's were attached to his motionless body, a bag of blood as well. I could feel my body trembling, then I fell to the floor.
"M-Miss!" The nurse tried to help me up once again. "Let me get you a chair."
Soon enough, I was sat down next to Gavin's still body. The nurse had already left. I held the rim of my dress tightly, tears flowing unconsciously from my eyes, staining my dress. I couldn't bear to see him like this. Gavin... the one who seemed unbeatable, just lying helplessly on the hospital bed.
My shaking hand reached to touch his cheek. "T-This... is all my fault..." I muttered. "Gavin..."
Gavin's pov
Gavin...
My name was called by a familiar voice. I could hear her crying.
I'm sorry... This is all my fault...
Youran...
I don't know where to go. It's just darkness. Suddenly, dim light started to fill the area. An unbearable beeping noise started to pull me back to reality.
I started to look around as my eyes fluttered open. A weeping girl was sitting next to me, grasping my hand tightly. I moved my free hand to cup one side of her cheek. Her skin felt so soft...
"G-Gavin..." She looked at me, tears in her hazel eyes. She was crying... because of me...
My heart ached. I hated seeing her cry. I made her worry again. "Hey... Don't cry..." I managed to say. "I'm okay."
I forced myself to sit up. The stab I took didn't hurt as much as my heart did. I glanced over at her bandaged shoulder, moving my hand over it. She flinched a little.
"Does it still hurt?" I asked with concern. But instead of an answer, she started balling her eyes out.
"Y-Your the one who got stabbed," she stuttered. Her eyes were red.
I pulled her into my lap, hoping that would soothe her. "I'm fine, I promise." Her head lay gently on my chest. She was a very small girl, which made me able to hold her completely in my embrace.
"You're not fine at all..." she mumbled, her hand formed a fist.
I subconsciously placed my hand on hers, causing her to loosen her grip. "As long as you're safe, I'll be fine." Her tear-stained eyes looked up at me. "Let's go see the stars after we're discharged." I wiped away her tears with my finger. "It'll be my apology for making you worry." I smiled weakly.
"Oh Gavin..." Youran muttered. "I can't stand you getting hurt..."
I held her tighter. "I promise I won't get hurt like this again." I paused. "I hate seeing you cry..."
"Please don't leave me..."
"I'll never leave you..."
