Flash's Pov

I was flying around the dragon lands, looking for my friend and companion, Y/n. She said she would return with a special ingredient that could heal all diseases. She said it would only take a couple days...but it's been 8 days. I'm worried about her...and her safety. Sure, Spike made sure the dragons are nice to all ponies now, but...you never know. 

I am wearing my armor and have my shield. My eyes squinted when Celestia's brilliantness-er...the sun shined from the mountains. I wiped sweat off of my forehead and carried on, flying down, over, and around certain parts of the land. The others didn't want to help, for they thought it wasn't a big deal. I mean, it's not like Y/n is part of the Pillars, right? So why should they care?

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a small whine from a crevasse in a rather large mountain. It sounded so familiar. I've heard Y/n's whine before, especially seeing that she whines at everything. Getting attention, hurting herself on stairs,... never mind. 

I flew down to the crevasse and saw her m/c (mane color) mane looking dirty and out of place. I looked at her e/c eyes and didn't see the typical shimmer I'd normally see in them. They looked dull and lifeless. Her c/c (coat color) was dull and blood stains splattered them like a toddler's painting. Her wings...oh, her wings... They were mangled and the feathers were either torn, or dirtied. She was sitting on a small platform made of rock and dirt. Looks like some sandstone, also. (Maud: Actually, that's Amphibolite.) I tried my best to squeeze through the small space to reach her. 

"Y/n, are you okay?!" I asked, wiping sweat from my forehead. I swear I saw a tint of red on her face when I did this.

"N-no I'm not. The crevasse broke my wings, I'm starving and dehydrated, and I'm slowly dying." She replied, stuttering every now and then. She coughed and looked at me with worried eyes.

"Please, Flash... get me out of here. Ask R-Rockhoof to destro-stroy the outside of the crevasse, so i-it's big enough for us both to escape at the same time." She laid down. She looked weak and fragile. Like a soft breeze could shatter her.

"I'm sorry." I whispered, as I sat by her and ran my hoof through her mane, trying to help her calm down.

"What do y-you mean? I should be thanking you." 

"T-the others...they said they didn't want to help me help you...because they see you as a normal pegasus and not as one of us." I whispered in a soft tone and looked away. She sighed.

"It's okay, Flash. I bet you're strong enough to crush the outside of this." She smiled softly.

"M-me?! N-no no no! I should be staying here with you, taking care of you." I was actually surprised she thought of me when it came to widening the crevasse. She knows I'm not that strong. 

She smiled. 

"I'm fine. It's only two broken wi-" I put my hoof on her mouth, shushing her. 

"Shhh... you need to heal, N/n (nick name), or else you'll get worse. I know you don't have food, or water, so here." I handed her the last of my food and water. She grinned and nodded while taking the supplies.

"Thank you." She said. I smiled. I looked up at the sky, or, what I could see. I saw some cracks on the land above us. This could possibly work...

I flew up and punched the cracked land and, surely enough, it broke apart in pieces. Leaving a perfect space big enough for the both of us. (so he thought).

"Y/n! I broke through the land! We can leave~!" I happily flapped my wings and grinned at her. She smiled and finished drinking her water.

"So we can leave?!" She asked while grinning. I nodded.

"D-do you mind?" I asked, motioning that I wanted to pick her up so that we could leave.

"No, not at all. Be my guest." She said. I grabbed her by the hooves and then lifted her up. She was hanging by her legs (or arms?), while her legs were wrapped around mine. I flew slowly in the air, Y/n still clinging on. 

"It would be kind of easier for the both of us if you held on to my neck. But don't choke me." 

"Okay" She moved her hooves so they were around my neck, she then swung her body so she was sitting on me. She nuzzled my neck, a signal saying she's ready.

"Here we go." I flew through the crevasse, the sunset sky welcoming us. She smiled as a tear of joy left her eye, sliding down her face.

Once we were outside the crevasse, I landed so she could get off and relax. I saw a tear leave her eye and cupped her face.

"You're safe now." I whispered soothingly. She grinned and nodded.

"Thanks to you." She whispered. I realized her voice had gotten better and her once dull coat was brighter.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked her, trying not to sound concerned. To be honest, how can I not be concerned? My best friend being trapped down there for 8 days, no food, no water.

"I am now." She said, a blush on her cheeks. 

"That's all that matters now." I said, pulling her closer to me. She rested her head on my chest.

"Thank you for everything you've done, Flash. I couldn't have lived without you. Literally." She said, closing her eyes and relaxing. 

"Ha, I remember a time where you said you can do anything. Even live in the dragon lands." I smirked. She opened her gorgeous eyes and playfully smacked my arm. I chuckled at her actions, then interrupted when we both heard an angry dragon growl in the distance. I held her close.

"We better get moving." I said and she crawled onto my back again.

When we made it back to our home. Starswirl trotted up to us in anger.

"WHY DID YOU BRING HER HERE?!" he yelled. I gave him an angered look.

"Listen, Beardy. Just because you think the Pillars are SO great, doesn't mean you're great. You're selfish, unworthy of being a wizard, and down right mean to others. Y/n is my best friend, and my crush. So you better trot off to somewhere else before you even THINK about treating her like a normal pony. She's not just special, she's my everything." I yelled, protecting Y/n. Y/n's ears bent down and a smile grew on her face. She blushed. 

"Flash Magnus..." She said. She grinned. I walked over to her and wrapped an arm around her. She did the same.

"Y/n L/n (if your pone doesn't have a last name, then just pretend the l/n isn't there (:)..." Those words that came out of my mouth made me grin like an idiot.

"I didn't know you felt like that towards me. And to be honest, I feel the same about you." She whispered. Our noses were touching. So close. <3

"I've always felt like this towards you ever since I first saw you at Battle Training." She grinned at me. 

Before we knew it, she wrapped her hooves around my neck and we leaned in. It was like a magnet pulling us together. The kiss was beautiful. I felt her soft lips on mine, and it felt so normal. It felt like we were meant to be together in the first place. We kissed for about 30 seconds.

"Seems like Flash has a very special somepony." We heard Mistmane loudly whisper(?) to Mage. Mage giggled and smiled at us.

"Congratulations, Flash and Y/n! When's the wedding?" Rockhoof smirked. We rolled our eyes.

"I'm proud of you two! You're the first ponies here to find a liking to one another." Somnambula said while grinning. Starswirl rolled his eyes while stroking his Starswirly beard.

Starswirl's Pov

"Maybe I should go apologize to Y/n." I thought. I really felt sorry for myself...and Y/n... I know what it's like being stranded. I walked over to her and she glared at me.

"Yes, Beardo?" She asked annoyed by my presence and hit my beard. 

"I just wanted to apologize, Y/n. I am really sorry for everything. I have treated you like dirt and pushed you around like a normal pony. You're no normal pony, Miss Y/n. You're one of us. You're officially one of the Pillars. You have represented power towards us. Congratulations, Y/n, your Pillar is the Pillar of Power." I said calmly. She gasped and grinned widely. She then shook my hoof.

"Thank you so much, Sir! I accept your apology and everything that just came out of your beard! :D" I rolled my eyes and giggled.

In conclusion, Y/n and Flash eventually did get married. Which Rockhoof cried at. They also had one daughter named d/n (Daughter's name). Which Rockhoof cried at. Once Rockhoof realized Y/n was one of them, he cried. He cried during every bonding time Flash and she had with D/n. Cute, right?
