It has been just over a week ever since all of Canterlot High was over control of the sirens and the (Hu) Mane 8 also now known as the Rainbooms have broken their spell with their music and made sure that the sirens could never cast a spell on anyone anymore to regain power over themselves. Twilight has returned back to Equestria as well and now the portal to Equestria is open for as long as needed, so anybody can travel when they want to.

Things seemed even more peaceful for the Rainbooms after the battle happened as well as they all became even more famous throughout the school. Best part was that Sunset Shimmer, who was frequently shunned by others due to her past nature, was now accepted as someone who has reformed and saved the school as well. Sunset was happy with her new student life in Canterlot High as she even hung out with more than just the Rainbooms like the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Bulk Biceps, Flash Sentry, and more.

However, while things were getting peaceful around the area, it didn't exactly mean that everybody was happy with how things were now. Sunset is now seen walking back from school to her home and is also sporting a new outfit that involves a light blue dress that reaches from the top of her chest to her legs which now have dark blue leggings on them. She even decided to let her hair grow just a little bit from before.

She checks her mailbox and gets some letters. Seeing each of them made her sigh solemnly which meant that it wasn't really something to be happy about.

Sunset Shimmer: *sighs* I really do need a job if I'm going to keep living here like this. I can't really go anywhere from what I've seen though as many stores don't really need hiring these days.

While Sunset Shimmer did live in the Human World by herself for a ton of moons, it wasn't exactly easy for her either. When she first came to the Human World, she had used stolen gems and jewelry that she took from the Canterlot Castle Treasury room to pay to make a living in this world. However that was years ago. . . and now she's almost at her limit.

Sunset Shimmer: As much as I don't want to admit it. . . I'm going to need some help, but where would I start?

As she thinks this, the wind blows just a little bit causing her hair to flow in it and as she gets it straight again, she looks in the direction of a tree and strangely enough the branches were shaped in a way that looked kind of familiar to her. . . They were shaped in a way of a certain person's Cutie Mark that had a heart on it. This instantly made Sunset think a little bit more as she puts a finger to her chin.

Sunset Shimmer: (Maybe (Y/N) isn't doing much today, I think I'll ask him and see what he's up to.)

Sunset then decides to pull out her phone and she sent a couple of texts to (Y/N) asking him if he had any plans after school today. She waited for a response from him before after a few minutes, she got one back saying that he's free for today and the weekend since he was lucky enough to not get any homework or projects that were due over the weekend. Sunset smiles from this and decides to make her way over towards (Y/N)'s house for the rest of the afternoon.

Soon Sunset arrives at (Y/N)'s house and she walks up to the front door and she holds her hand up to knock on the door. When she was just about to knock, she hesitates for a little bit as she thinks that she doesn't really want to burden (Y/N) with problems that she really should face on her own, but even so, it really is something that she should ask someone to do and (Y/N) was the first person that came to her mind, so she sighs and just knocks before (Y/N) came out and opened the door not long after as he smiles at Sunset.

(Y/N): Hey, Sunset.

Sunset Shimmer: Hey, (Y/N). I know that we just got out of school a little bit recently, but I was wondering if you would like to just walk around with me for a little bit. I. . . just had a hunch that I needed to talk to someone.

(Y/N) raised an eyebrow at this as this made him think that Sunset was having some problems that she just can't say out loud. However, he smiles at her request and nods as if she does have a problem, then he'll help out in whatever way that he can.

(Y/N): Sure, I'll hang out with you for as long as you want me to for the day. Like I said, I'm not really busy for the entire day and weekend, so I'll be a free man whenever you want to just speak to me.

Sunset chuckles lightly from this as his attitude compared to hers made her feel somewhat better.

Sunset Shimmer: Thanks. You coming?

(Y/N): Yeah, let's get moving.

The two of them walked outside of (Y/N)'s house together and began walking across the sidewalk in the direction that was going back towards the school. 

(Y/N): So, what's been going on with you, Sunset?

Sunset felt a little nervous at being asked that question as she sees that (Y/N) is already probing her. She didn't feel that this was the right time to answer, so she instead tries to hide her real reason and respond with a different answer.

Sunset Shimmer: I've been. . . good. R-Really good.

It doesn't take an Applejack for (Y/N) to see that Sunset was trying to cover up what she was hiding and while he was confused by what she could possibly need to hide from him now, he decided that he should let it go as more information is necessary before asking her about what her mood change is all about.

Sunset Shimmer: What about you? Has anything interesting happened with you and your girlfriends? You know, ever since the little "incident" with the sirens and all.

(Y/N): I can say that they have been keeping a more close eye on me than usual as I still think that they have a gut feeling that I may like other girls that are quote unquote, "pretty, yet suspicious" considering that's what you would describe the Dazzlings when we first met them.

(Y/N) cringes a little bit from the memory of that.

(Y/N): I still can't believe I let them manipulate me like that. I should've known way better since you instantly found them fishy before me.

(Y/N) said this with an annoyed sigh as he was still kind of frustrated with himself that he fell for the Dazzligns when he knew from the start that they were up to no good. Sunset just puts a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder as she looks up at him with sympathy in her eyes.

Sunset Shimmer: You did the right thing in the end though, (Y/N). You told us the truth and we were able to see that they staged that scene to trick all of us into breaking apart from you.

It was then her turn to feel bad as she looked away from (Y/N).

Sunset Shimmer: I guess I said some bad things and overreacted a little bit to when I first saw it. . . 

(Y/N): Don't blame yourself, Sunset. The Dazzlings are to blame for almost everything that happened in Canterlot High, not you. Speaking of them, I wonder where they are going now. I mean from what Twilight told us, they practically arrived here in our world not too long ago and mostly used their ruby pendants to survive out here on their own. Now that they're broken to pieces, they can't really do anything more.

Sunset Shimmer: Who knows, but let's just be happy that they're not going to go anywhere to try and manipulate any more students to do their bidding.

(Y/N): *nods* Agreed.

Both of them smile at one another before chuckling as it seemed to go really back and forth with them trying to comfort the other person. As they do, they both finally arrived at the area of where CHS was and once they do, Sunset suddenly stops in her tracks which (Y/N) sees as he stops too to face Sunset.

(Y/N): Sunset? What's up now?

Sunset doesn't respond to that answer and just looks on at the school staring at something. It (Y/N) a second before he sees that Sunset was staring at the school's Wondercolt statue which is also the portal to where Equestria is. Due to Twilight's tinkering and brains, she was able to now have the portal open for anyone to access when they want to and it made Sunset think just what is going on down there in Equestria while they are still there in the Human World.

(Y/N): Oh. . . thinking about Equestria?

Sunset Shimmer: Well, I guess. I mean I was originally from there, right? Ever since Twilight told us that this is going to stay open from now on, I just can't help but feel like I want to know what's been going on down there while I was away for so long.

Sunset stares at the statue with unease as (Y/N) looks back and forth between her and the statue mirror. An idea then came to his mind as he turns to Sunset.

(Y/N): If you really want to visit so bad, why not ask Twilight? 

Sunset Shimmer: Really?

(Y/N): Sure, I mean there's nothing stopping you from seeing your old home now. . . and to be honest, I'm feeling curious to what's on the other side of that mirror as well. You've told me a lot about ponies and all, but I really feel like I want to see Equestria for myself.

Sunset Shimmer: You think that's a good idea?

(Y/N): What makes you ask that question?

Sunset Shimmer: Well for starters, there is another you in my world and. . . it would look kind of awkward to see yourself meet yourself. . . you know what I mean? Especially since he's a prince in that world too.

(Y/N): Maybe it won't be the least shocking thing to meet myself, but considering that it's "me" I don't think that I'll have too many problems.

Sunset was still a little bit uncertain, but it wasn't really about (Y/N)'s pony self, but rather the things that she's done when she was formerly in Equestria.

Sunset Shimmer: Thing is. . . I'm a little anxious for more than just that. You remember when I told you about Princess Celestia? The ruler of Equestria and my old mentor before I betrayed and left her?

(Y/N): Right. . . Oh. . . Is this about reuniting with her as well?

Sunset Shimmer: *sighs* Yeah. After what I did, I don't really know if she'll even want to see me.

She said this with a depressed voice and (Y/N) thought a little bit on why seeing Princess Celestia would make her nervous. It then clicked in his mind when he did realize that Sunset never mentioned anything about apologizing to her. Ever since she has been gone, Princess Celestia never got a message back from Sunset to let her know that she was either okay or how she thinks of the world of that she now lives in.

(Y/N): I get it. You think that you may not have the best welcome if you meet with Princess Celestia after all of your former actions?

Sunset reluctantly nods from this as (Y/N) looks at the portal to Equestria before back at Sunset with a serious look before taking her hand which surprised her and she looked straight up at (Y/N).

(Y/N): In that case. . . maybe you should go and visit Equestria Sunset. If this portal is now open 24/7, then this will be your chance to make amends to who you wronged back in Equestria. If Twilight is back there, then I'm sure that she had to have told some ponies who lived there something about your new deeds that helped save our school. Like the Battle of the Bands. You also mentioned your step-parents to me too, so I think that if we just explain everything to her, then she'll completely understand and forgive you. 

Sunset Shimmer: But how do you know that she will listen to me?

(Y/N): I don't, but Twilight and I will back up your case on meeting your former mentor. You won't be alone the entire time, I promise.

Sunset looked at the portal again as the glass part of it shines just a little bit before she looks back at (Y/N) with a little bit of uncertainty.

Sunset Shimmer: You're really sure that you want to go to Equestria with me?

(Y/N): No more sure than how I'm already here standing here and talking with you.

Sunset looks at (Y/N) and after hearing his words said out loud like that, she slowly grows a smile on her face before she hugs (Y/N) which surprised him, but he returned it nonetheless.

Sunset Shimmer: Thanks, (Y/N). You're right. I think that it's time that I revisit Equestria and visit some of the ponies that I haven't seen in awhile.

(Y/N): No problem. Like I said, I'm here to help you along the way that we're there.

They then decide to end the hug after those words were said and Sunset reaches in her backpack that she brought along with her and she motions her hand for (Y/N) to follow her as they both go to sit down beside the statue. Sunset then begins writing a message to Twilight to explain the situation that they both have been feeling. After they waited for a couple of minutes, Twilight was able to write back to them as the journal glowed and vibrated. Sunset opens the journal as she along with (Y/N) read in their minds what was written inside of it.

Twilight Sparkle: (In Sunset Shimmer & (Y/N)'s Mind) You guys are coming over?! That sounds great! I'm a little surprised that (Y/N) wanted to come as well, but even so it'll be nice seeing you again as I missed you guys already while being back in Equestria. I'll wait by the portal for you to arrive as soon as you can.

That was where the writing stopped as this made Sunset and (Y/N) smile at this as they look at each other before standing up to walk to the front of the mirror portal. As they do, (Y/N) was already a little bit curious on how the portal worked as he sticks his hand through it slightly and when he does. . . he sees his hand turn into a (C/C) hoof which made his eyes pop open before he slowly pulls it back out to see that his hand was normal again. 

Sunset Shimmer: You sure you won't be too freaked out once we're there? I mean seeing that reaction you look like you have second thoughts.

(Y/N) looks at Sunset before back at the mirror with determination.

(Y/N): Nope. No second thoughts at all. Don't worry, wherever Twilight is on the other side of that portal that goes to Equestria, I'm sure that I'll be able to handle what I see.

He then takes a deep breath to brace for what Equestria is going to be like for him before looking at Sunset.

(Y/N): Are you ready?

Sunset Shimmer: *nods* Ready.

(Y/N): One. . .

Sunset Shimmer: Two. . .

(Y/N) & Sunset Shimmer: Three!

With being called to tell them that they're ready, Sunset and (Y/N) stepped through the mirror portal and a bright light flashed as the two were sent through a rainbow colored worm tunnel. As they were flying through, (Y/N) and Sunset Shimmer spun around and around through the portal path and when (Y/N) looked at his entire body, it was glowing a bright white light before his entire body shines and it fills the entire screen.

Equestria. . .

At the crystal mirror, the glass mirror shines before two pony figures shoot out of the the mirror and they both fly through the air before landing on the ground to roll against it many times before crashing into a bookshelf causing many books to fall off and on top of the two ponies.

???: Whoa! Are you two alright?

That familiar female voice levitates the books off of the two ponies in a purple aura surrounding it before they place them up back on the shelf where they belong and the two ponies had their eyes rolling around in circles and stars above their heads before they both sat up on the ground. The male pony shook his head to get rid of the dizziness while the female pony rubs her head. Both of them look ahead to see a pony with pale, light grayish mulberry coat, a dark sapphire blue mane and tail with moderate purple and brilliant raspberry streaks in them, she had moderate violet eyes and her Cutie Mark is a pink-six-pointed sparkle surrounded by five small white sparkles. This was Twilight and she looks down at both of the ponies with a concerned as (Y/N) looks at her surprised.

(Y/N): Twilight? Is that really you. . .? As a pony. . .?

Twilight Sparkle: *nods* That's right. As you can see, you are one as well.

(Y/N)'s eyes widen from this before he looks all over his body to see that he now has a (C/C) coat, he also now has a (M/C) mane and a (T/C) tail while keeping his (E/C) eyes on his face. He even looked on his back to see that he has wings on his back and he looks up on his forehead to see that he has a horn as well. As (Y/N) stared at himself in astonishment, Twilight levitates him up before making him land back down on all of his hooves.

He looks at Twilight before stretching out his hoof and wiggling it around a bit before walking around like a normal pony would compared to a two-legged human. He looks at the wings on his back and he smiles at them before opening them up as he had some experience with the wings when he was Ponied-Up along with his other girlfriends.

(Y/N): This is almost unbelievable, but you know what they say, seeing is believing. 

Sunset then groans as it was her turn to get up and walk on four hooves again like she used to. (Y/N) was surprised to see Sunset in her pony form as well before he smiled at how similar she looked to when she was a human besides the fact that they don't need to wear clothes.

(Y/N): Wow! Sunset, I never thought that I would see you look like this as a pony. You look amazing.

Sunset Shimmer: *giggles* Thanks. And you can definitely say "wow" again, it's been a long while ever since I've seen myself like this.

(Y/N): So, how about I actually look at a reflection of myself on how I look as a pony?

(Y/N) says this as he was getting ready to walk back to where the Crystal Mirror was where he first entered, but as he does, he accidentally bumps into somepony else causing them both to fall onto the floor. (Y/N) shakes his head before looking ahead at the pony he bumped into.

(Y/N): Sorry about that. I wasn't looking where I was going and I'm kind of new at this.

However, when (Y/N) takes another look ahead at who he bumped into. . . his eyes pop wide open in extreme shock. It turns out that the pony he bumped into. . .

Was himself. . . The actual Pony (Y/N) that lives in Equestria. They both looked at each other with the same reaction and they stayed silent for a minute staring at each other as it was indeed like looking into a mirror. Twilight nervously chuckles while Sunset was kind of afraid of something like this happening. The silence went on for a bit longer with no one saying anything until the (Y/N)'s jumped back and screamed while pointing their hooves at one another.

(Y/N) & Pony (Y/N): AAAAAHHHHH!!

They kept on screaming before both Twilight and Sunset trot over to cover their mouths to get them to stop screaming in shock as one (Y/N) is meeting another. 

Twilight Sparkle: Okay. We know that this is kind of freaky for you both, so you're not going to scream out loud in this castle where everypony inside can possibly hear you, alright?

Both (Y/N) nod from this as Twilight and Sunset sigh before taking their hooves off of the (Y/N)'s and they both still looked at each other in shock before speaking the same words as well.

(Y/N) & Pony (Y/N): Y-You're ME! N-No! I'm YOU! Wait? Who am I?!

Sunset Shimmer: Um. . . one at a time, please.

Pony (Y/N) looked at Sunset Shimmer and the moment that he did, he immediately recognized her as he gives her a skeptical glare.

Pony (Y/N): Wait a second, you're the pony who stole my crown the last time that you were here.

Sunset Shimmer's eyes widen from this and she blushes with a nervous look as she backs away a little bit from Pony (Y/N). He was a little bit annoyed on why she was here until (Y/N) puts a hoof beside his other self.

(Y/N): Don't worry. . . uh. . . (Y/N). I came here with her. She's actually helped me for a little bit and Twilight as well.

Pony (Y/N): You know considering that I'm talking to. . . me. . . I would be sure that you're the one doing all of the helping.

(Y/N): No, not really. I mean yes I've been a big help too as Twilight had to have told you about the times that I have helped her out when the sirens were in my world.

Pony (Y/N): Oh, I see. Speaking of which, what did you guys do with them after you beat them?

Sunset Shimmer: We don't know. They escaped before we could even probe or apprehend them. It shouldn't be a big deal though.

Pony (Y/N): How so?

Twilight Sparkle: Thanks to you- I mean the other you. . . The pendants that they were using to suck up all of our Equestrian magic were destroyed. Without those, they won't do anymore damage in that world.

Pony (Y/N): Ah, I see. That's a huge relief for both of you then.

Sunset Shimmer: How have things been for you two even though it's only been over a week since the Battle of the Bands?

Twilight Sparkle: It actually has been been more busy than you think.

Pony (Y/N): We were called to this eccentric kind of town for where nopony has their Cutie Marks.

(Y/N): Cutie Marks?

Pony (Y/N): You see the symbol that's on our flanks?

The (Y/N) from the Human World then looks at his own flank to see exactly what his pony self was talking about as it was the exact same symbol that he wore on his clothes almost every day.

Pony (Y/N): That's a Cutie Mark. It symbolizes your special talent. And you definitely know what my special talent is. . .

(Y/N) chuckles from that before they both start to speak at the same times again.

(Y/N)/Pony (Y/N): Helping others and protecting them when needed because that's our job as the Hero of Canterlot High/Equestria!

They both gasped that they almost said the exact same words as they are both convinced now that they are indeed the same person.

(Y/N): Wh-Wha. . . How?!

Pony (Y/N): We're like the same minds, dude!

(Y/N): OH MY GAAAHHHHHHH!

(Y/N) & Pony (Y/N): WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

Both Twilight and Sunset silenced them both once more by covering their mouths with their hooves as they both had annoyed looks on their faces.

Twilight Sparkle: You two really are the same in every way. . . 

Sunset Shimmer: Seriously, at this point you two are just showing off.

They let go of their mouths before they both smirked at each other to test them once more.

(Y/N): Hey! There's a Pinkie Pie here, right?

Pony (Y/N): One hundred percent.

(Y/N): What do you always when she does something that you can't explain?

Sunset shakes her head with an exasperated smile while Twilight facehooves.

Twilight Sparkle: Here we go again. . .

(Y/N) & Pony (Y/N): That's Pinkie folks!

The two of them laughed at each other at just how similar they are while Sunset and Twilight looked at each other with smirks as they thought that them meeting each other would have never gone this far to them bonding.

Sunset Shimmer: *sighs* As much as I would enjoy watching you two have all of that playful banter, there's something else that I actually came here for, right (Y/N)?

(Y/N)'s eyes widen from this as his Pony (Y/N) just stared at her confused.

Sunset Shimmer: I didn't really come here just to visit and reunite with you guys, but. . . I want to make amends to Princess Celestia.

Twilight's eyes widened hearing that said to them as her mouth was agape that that's something she suggested.

Twilight Sparkle: R-Really? That's. . . pretty sudden. Are you sure that's what you really want to do right now?

Sunset Shimmer: I couldn't help myself. The longer I stared at that mirror, the longer that I couldn't help but be anxious on how she would feel to see me again.

(Y/N): *nods* And I came to help in case things did get unreasonable.

Pony (Y/N): Princess Celestia did tell me a little bit about you, Sunset Shimmer. Honestly. . . it's make a little bit nervous too because you know. . .

Twilight Sparkle: Well. . . I suppose I can take you to Canterlot if you're really here for that, but we may have a little problem with that.

(Y/N): What problem?

Twilight Sparkle: Do I really need to spell it out?

Twilight then points both of her hooves at the (Y/N)'s as they both look at her in confusion before each other and they suddenly got the picture on what Twilight was referring to. They both are exactly the same from head to hooves and if people say that a duplicate (Y/N) was in the world, everybody might freak out.

Pony (Y/N): Oh. . .

(Y/N): Yeah, that is a problem. . .

Pony (Y/N): In that case, why don't I just stay here with Spike and look after the castle while you three are away to see Princess Celestia in Canterlot?

Everybody turned their eyes to Pony (Y/N) a little surprised from that.

Twilight Sparkle: Really? You sure that you want to do that, sweetie?

Pony (Y/N): It's a problem that my (Y/N) came to handle and if I'm being honest, just one of ME is more than enough as backup.

(Y/N) smirks at his pony self flattering him.

(Y/N): You don't say~?

Pony (Y/N) smirks back at his other self before seeing the little mess that (Y/N) and Sunset made when they first arrived at the castle. 

Pony (Y/N): Besides, I can help him clean this place in no time flat without even needing to use too much magic! Watch this!

(Y/N) watches with interest on what Pony (Y/N) was going to do as the pony duplicate levitates all of the books up into the air before doing a backflip into the air to fly and he then zips all over the library room catching books and places them in their respective shelves like a pinball going all across a pinball machine and (Y/N) just stares in jaw dropped shock on how powerful his other self was. Twilight just looks up at him while shaking her head with a smirk.

Twilight Sparkle: What a showoff. . .

As soon as he was done, Pony (Y/N) landed back down on the ground before turning to his other self to see his reaction as all he can do is flinch and look at him in astonishment.

Pony (Y/N): Heh. Pretty slick move, huh?

(Y/N): Dude. . . THAT WAS AWESOME!

(Y/N) says this as he jumps up to do a backflip as well and he pumps a hoof too while smiling brightly. Twilight and Sunset just smile at (Y/N) able to see something that his pony self can do that he couldn't do himself.

Pony (Y/N): Thanks! Now if you'll excuse me, I'll get started on helping my dragon buddy out with more of his chores that he has going on.

Pony (Y/N) then trots out of the room and (Y/N) couldn't help but be astonished at how easy it was to just relate to his other self in almost everything. Twilight then walks over to the door and gestures for (Y/N) and Sunset to follow her.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, we should make our way to Canterlot too. Come on, I'll take you guys there by train.

Twilight then trots out of the room and (Y/N) was getting ready to follow her, but not before he looks back over to Sunset to see her sigh and look down as anxious as she was before. This concerned (Y/N) as he walks over to her.

(Y/N): Sunset? Is everything okay?

Sunset Shimmer: *sighs* Like I said, I just can't help but feel nervous on meeting Princess Celestia again. I know I said that I wanted to meet her now, but. . . I was just acting brave. You may not remember too much, but she banished me from the castle and I could no longer study because of what I did.

(Y/N) felt Sunset's anxiety as he nods before putting a hoof around her back.

(Y/N): Don't worry about it, Sunset. That's why followed you here, remember? In case she hasn't changed a lot ever since we met her, we'll be right behind you to speak for you. Besides, if you don't say something to her she won't really know how much you changed.

Sunset Shimmer: What do you mean?

(Y/N): You said that Princess Celestia is just like Principal Celestia in our world, right? Well, I know Principal Celestia well since she was close friends with my mother. You don't need to try and force yourself to look desperate for forgiveness. Just be honest with her and explain how you changed ever since and she'll listen. . . I'm sure of it.

Sunset thought of (Y/N)'s words and the more she thought about it, the more that it made a lot of sense as well. She takes a deep breath to let out some of the stress that she was feeling before looking at (Y/N) with a smile.

Sunset Shimmer: I'll do what I can. Thanks, (Y/N).

(Y/N): *smiles* No problem.

They both then exit the castle in the direction where Twilight was going so that they can go and see all of Canterlot for themselves and meet Princess Celestia as well.

Outside of the castle, the three were now walking through Ponyville and every time that (Y/N) took a look at the citizens, they would wave back with a smile at him which made him smile as well as he could tell that if he's pretty popular in Canterlot High then it wouldn't surprise him if his other self was popular to other ponies in Ponyville.

(Y/N): Wow! Everybody that I know all across Canterlot High is really a talking pony here.

Twilight Sparkle: That's right, there's in fact a pony counterpart for almost everybody that I met in that world.

(Y/N): Even my girlfriends?

Twilight Sparkle: Even your girlfriends. They all live here in Ponyville too.

(Y/N): Really? You think that I can meet them too?

Twilight Sparkle: Sorry, I don't think so. They're all pretty busy with their hooves full after our little adventure together, but I'll be sure to tell them that you said hi.

(Y/N): Oh, okay. I see.

Sunset Shimmer: Yeah, that's a shame. I would've liked to meet them all as well.

Twilight Sparkle: And I'm sure that they would all be happy to meet you both. Come on, the train station is this way.

(Y/N) and Sunset nodded from this as they both make their way to the train station while following Twilight. Once they arrived at the train station, they departed their way towards Canterlot once they were boarded. After about a half hour trip, they finally made their arrival at Canterlot. Seeing Canterlot in Equestria compared to the Canterlot in the Human World blew (Y/N)'s mind away as he couldn't believe that an entire royal city like this is literally on the side of the mountain. On their way to the castle, Sunset and (Y/N) did a little bit of sightseeing before they finally arrived at the royal palace. Thanks to Twilight. . . and surprisingly (Y/N), they were all able to enter the castle. They walked through for a little bit before they finally arrived at a set of huge double doors.

Twilight Sparkle: Alright, here we are. 

What were through these doors was obviously the throne room to where Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are. Sunset grew a nervous look once more as she sweats a little bit as well, but (Y/N) pats her on the back with his hoof to reassure her that she has nothing to worry about. Sunset once again took a deep breath before nodding to say that she was ready as the two doors open up to show two alicorn ponies standing on top of a throne. They were Princess Celestia and Princess Luna as Princess Celestia was standing front and center atop of the dais and Princess Luna just to her left.

The two royal sisters had unsmiling demeanors, and the elder spreads her wings imperiously, prompting Sunset to shrink down into herself as undiluted terror roots itself in her brain. By the time she, (Y/N), and Twilight reach the base of the dais, she has her eyes firmly fixed on the red carpet they have been following. Twilight offers up a humoring grin in a room that is deathly silent except for the gushing fountains that flank the dais.

Twilight Sparkle: Sooo, Princess Celestia. . . *nervous laugh* You'll never guess who's back! Actually, maybe you can guess, 'cause she's right here. But, um. . .

The stern, stony face from Celestia regards both of them through one visible, narrowed eye through her mane. (Y/N) leans over to whisper to Twilight.

(Y/N): *whispers* Not really helping, Twilight.

He then looks down towards Sunset with a determined glare.

(Y/N): *whispers* Remember, just be honest and tell her just how much you think of yourself now.

Sunset nods and cycles a deep breath through her lungs and steps forward to look Celestia straight on.

Sunset Shimmer: Princess Celestia, the last time we saw each other, I was your snide little pupil who betrayed and abandoned you. I went behind your back to try and become something that I was clearly not prepared for yet. I said things that I shouldn't have and demanded for things that I hadn't yet earned. I'm sure that Twilight told you about everything of what happened to me when I lived with my step-parents. They cared about nothing but seeing me succeed so that the family name was never tarnished. I should have said something to you when I had the chance, but I was so snobby and angry that I kept my kept my mouth shut still looking for revenge. However, that all changes here as to why I'm speaking with you now. I come before you a changed pony, humbly asking for forgiveness.

The humorless solar sovereign folds in her wings and descends to floor level. Sunset's eyes constrict in pure panic as she finds herself enveloped by the approaching shadow and all too soon, Celestia is looming over her and staring her down point-blank.

Sunset Shimmer: Or I can just go, and you never have to see me again.

She is absolutely not prepared for a gold-shod hoof to reach out and lift her chin gently. . . or for the white face to shift into a smile of warm acceptance.

Princess Celestia: I've missed you, Sunset Shimmer.

This surprised Sunset greatly as she looked down before back up to Celestia with tears in her eyes.

Sunset Shimmer: I. . . I'm so sorry.

She eases close enough to embrace one long foreleg and Celestia reciprocates by leaning down to wrap the other one across Sunset's back. The wordless act of forgiveness prompts smiles on all of the visitors' faces as Twilight letting hers bloom into a toothy grin and a Pinkie-level squeal of barely contained glee while (Y/N) smirked and slowly nodded approving of this reunion.

Princess Celestia: And I'm sorry as well. As your mentor, I should have been more aware to what you were going through with your step-parents. It was the exact same way on that day I first lost my sister, Luna. I was too focused on my own duties as Equestria's ruler to see what she was becoming and we both had to give away something so personal that it led us to being separated. The same situation goes with you. I am just as sorry as you are, Sunset.

(Y/N) smiled at this reunion, but he felt like he should say something to this as while both ponies have done things wrong, they have done better things now in the present. Considering that Celestia was the exact same way in his world and that she knows him pretty well too in this world, (Y/N) decides to speak up.

(Y/N): Sunset, Celestia, may I actually say something to the both of you? I don't really think that you two should be blaming yourselves at all for what happened between you. I mean Celestia, you're a princess and a ruler, right? I'm sure that means that you clearly have a lot going on with you go through as well, so there was no absolute way that you could've known what Sunset has done. A ruler of Equestria can't help absolutely everyone when needed, but she can do what she can handle. You don't need to blame yourself for Sunset's predicament. And Sunset, remember during the Fall Formal of what we talked about? You were just missing something as you wanted to feel loved and part of a family, something that you never got and it led to doing things that you regret. But now, look on the brighter side of things. You both are now here as better ponies and making amends which is a big leap from the last time you were with each other. All you need to do is just move on from the past and focus what you can do in the present and the future. And you're not alone, you've got friends here and family too that can help you out.

The room grew silent after this giant speech as (Y/N) walked back towards Twilight who looked at Sunset and Princess Celestia to nod in agreement with him. However, Princess Celestia smiled from this as she spoke once more.

Princess Celestia: You're right, (Y/N). We cannot change what we have done in the past, but for now we both try our best to give ourselves a better future.

(Y/N): That's correct.

Sunset Shimmer: Even so, I'm still really sorry about everything that I did, Princess Celestia.

Princess Celestia: The feeling is completely mutual, Sunset. I'm sure that one day that we can both truly understand that what we both went through, that we'll see past it for good.

Sunset Shimmer: *nods* I couldn't agree more.

They both embraced each other once more with tears of joy on how they were truly feeling with their reunion. All Twilight, (Y/N), and Princess Luna could do was smile warmly at this tender moment as it lasted for about a minute before they both broke the hug.

Sunset Shimmer: Anyways, Princess Celestia, I've also came here for another reason as I've been meaning to ask what happened to my step-parents? Are they still here?

This made Celestia grow a disappointed look on her face being asked that question.

Princess Celestia: *sighs* Unfortunately. . . no. They had moved away some time ago.

Sunset's eyes widen from this as she felt just as disappointed as Celestia was.

Sunset Shimmer: Really?

Princess Celestia: *nods* Believe it or not, when Twilight came back to Equestria for the first time, she had informed me of everything that you told her about your step-parents. This made me so heartbroken to hear that I finally did what I should've done and I confronted them myself at their home. I told them everything that Twilight told me and they tried to deny what I told them by saying that I had no such evidence to prove that they did such a thing to you. They immediately regretted that when I showed them what Twilight had told me and they were at an immediate loss of words. I then gave them a stern talk about how immoral and irresponsible it was for how they raised you. After that, I decided to leave and let them think about everything that they've done to. . . only to find out that in the next few days that I returned there. . . they were gone as their home was vacant. One of the royal guards however, came to me with a scroll that I believe that you should see, Sunset. It was from your step-parents.

She then walked over to her throne to levitate out a scroll that was lying down next to it and she brought it down in front of Sunset who started looking at it with curiosity.

Princess Celestia: They told me in this letter that if I were ever to see you again, that I should give you this.

Sunset's eyes widen from this before she opened it and read it out loud so everypony could hear.

Sunset Shimmer: "My step-daughter Sunset Shimmer, I really hope that Princess Celestia will one day deliver this to you and you see these words. Your step-mother and I could never tell you this face to face now, but we just wanted to say that we are truly, very sorry for how we acted towards you you're entire life. Princess Celestia learned about our past actions and she confronted us on our wrongdoings and from what she told us from the newly crowned princess, Princess Twilight Sparkle, we now realized our mistake. We were being undeniably selfish and irresponsible when she should and could have been way better step-parents to you. We finally saw that you wanted a lot more love than you initially received and even wanted to feel like we're all family. If you still hate us and never want to think about us again then we completely understand as we can never forgive ourselves for what we did to you. We just want you to know that we are truly sorry for how we acted. We want to also let you know that your mother and I have decided to drop our noble statuses and head out and live out as humble travelling ponies. Wherever we are, we would like to ask you that you do not find us as this is a journey that we want to seek for ourselves. But please know that whatever happens that we hope that your life is going the best that it can. We sincerely hope that you made lots of friends when you left us and we hope that one day. . . you can truly forgive us and think of us as ponies who really do love you. Sincerely, your step-father, Star Gleam.

When Sunset finally finished reading this, her eyes were incredibly wide and she couldn't help but stare at this in silence and shock on what she just read. Even Twilight and (Y/N) were surprised to what they just heard as they both looked at each other in astonishment before back at Sunset.

Sunset Shimmer: I. . . I can't believe it.

(Y/N): They finally realized their mistakes. . . This proves it all. . .

Princess Celestia: It would appear so. Sunset, what do you plan to do now that you have heard this message?

Sunset didn't respond to that for the longest minute as she was too busy trying to process all of what was currently said to her from the letter. After such a long time from being separated from her step-parents, they were able to finally learn their lesson and they changed not only their act, but their personal lives as well. A part of Sunset felt somewhat disappointed that she was able to to see them in person, but the other part said that she was relieved that knowing the tension between her and her step-parents was finally over after so long. She really wanted to see if she could possibly find out where they are, but in the letter they stated that they want Sunset to continue living her own life away from them as they know it's been a lot better for her. With no other option in place, she decided that she will accept the promise that they asked of her.

Sunset Shimmer: I guess I can do nothing, but. . . accept their advice and their promise to me. I mean they clearly have moved on with their lives, so the next best thing that I can do is move on with mine. I'm just. . . so relieved that they finally got what I was really going through and they intend to change themselves for the better. Thank you for showing this to me, Princess Celestia.

Princess Celestia: *nods* Of course.

(Y/N): So what do you plan on doing now, Sunset?

Sunset Shimmer: I think that I feel like exploring Canterlot for a little while longer if that's okay with you and Twilight.

Twilight and (Y/N) just smiled at this as they both nod.

Twilight Sparkle: Sure. We don't mind at all.

Sunset smiled brightly from this before turning back to Princess Celestia who walks up to her.

Sunset Shimmer: I'm really happy that I came here. I was able to learn more than I was originally thinking. 

Princess Celestia: I'm glad that you came to visit as well, Sunset. It has been such a long time.

They then embrace each other for one last time to say goodbye to each other before breaking the hug.

Princess Celestia: Take care of yourself, Sunset Shimmer.

Sunset Shimmer: I will Princess Celestia. Whatever happens from now on, I won't let you or Twilight down.

After the goodbyes were said, all three ponies left to leave the royal sisters to their business while returning to the streets of Canterlot. As the three of them were casually walking around the town, (Y/N) couldn't help but see that many of the ponies were acting really snobby by having their noses turned up in a regal manner.

(Y/N): *whispers* Wow, you weren't kidding when you said that some ponies here in Canterlot are full of themselves.

Both Sunset and Twilight nodded in agreement to that comment.

Twilight Sparkle: *whispers* Unfortunately, I can't deny that either. Canterlot does have many sophisticated types of ponies who like to flaunt their status out towards others, thinking that they're better than many other ponies. Not all of them are like that, but still. Some ponies just give me and my (Y/N) some more respect because we're both prince and princess.

(Y/N): *whispers* Well, I'm glad that we share the same opinion.

Suddenly, Twilight and (Y/N) then noticed something as Sunset wasn't walking with them. They looked behind themselves to see that Sunset lagged a few steps behind and was currently staring at something with a sad look on her face. Twilight and (Y/N) walked over to her and they looked in the direction that they were looking and they saw that she was looking at a house in the distance that seemed to stick out more than the others. It made (Y/N) confused for a second on why Sunset would be staring at that before realization struck him on what that house was.

(Y/N): Was that you're old home?

Sunset Shimmer: *nods* It is.

(Y/N) and Twilight then walked up right beside Sunset to stare at the house with her as they can both tell that she wanted to reminisce the past here for a little bit. Sunset had a ton of memories cloud her mind as she felt a ton of emotions. However, she was really unsure on how to feel right now.

Sunset Shimmer: You know. . . I honestly don't know what I should be feeling right now, (Y/N). Should I still be angry at my step-parents for not seeing me face to face or should I feel happy that they finally saw the error of their ways? It's so confusing. This is all confusing. I don't know how I should feel about all of this.

(Y/N) looks at Sunset as he looks at her old home for a minute to think of an answer before he finally turns to her to tell her what he thinks.

(Y/N): I'm not going to go too deep into this since I'm not too sure either, but I will say this. . . Don't let it all get into your head. The more that you think about this happening, the more that it'll make you feel even more terrible about yourself. You don't want that, right? I won't lie, I don't like that they couldn't see you for one last before heading off, but they did do something good at least and that is that they finally thought about you personally and they want to do something better for both them and you.

(Y/N) then puts a hoof around her shoulder.

(Y/N): Just go with what you wanted earlier. Just move on from the past. You've got me, Twilight here, our friends, and a place that you can now call home. There's nothing that you need to feel bad about anymore as the feud with your step-parents is over at last. Sure, we were expecting this to end differently, but that shouldn't matter anymore. What matters now is how we live on with that event.

Twilight Sparkle: I agree with him, Sunset. Don't let it keep circling in your mind. . . I won't lie when I say that it's happened to me some of the times too, but all that it can do is leave you indecisive in the end.

Sunset was surprised from both of them as she took these words into her head as her question all of a sudden just broke and disappeared. She looks at both ponies with a smile before hugging the two which they returned.

Sunset Shimmer: Thanks and you're right. They moved on from what they did and so did I. There's no need to dig any deeper than I already have.

The hug lasted for a moment before they finally part as Twilight nods along with (Y/N).

(Y/N): We're always here for you, Sunset. Do you still want to take in the scenery of your old house or are you ready to head back?

Sunset looked back towards her old home and she looks at it for one last time before closing her eyes, smiling, and shaking her head as she looks back at the two alicorns.

Sunset Shimmer: I think I'm ready to head back. 

That was their cue to then gesture for her to follow them as they continued their tour all across Canterlot before it was nearly sunset and time for them to head back to Ponyville.

When the train finally arrived back at Ponyville, it was almost sunset as ponies were seen in town getting ready to wrap up their day and head back home. Twilight, Sunset, and (Y/N) made their way back to the Castle of Friendship as they made it inside and decided to have a little bit more conversations with each other as Twilight was talking with Sunset while (Y/N) had a little more time to talk with his other pony self. Pony (Y/N) explained to his other self that his mother was actually an alicorn goddess who ruled Equestria before Celestia and Luna and she had to abandon him to save him from government agents that were tracking them down and even (Y/N) explained how he lost his mother as well. They can both relate to one another as they even comforted one another on the topics as they both know that wherever they are, that they'll return to them one day. 

Pony (Y/N): It was great meeting you. Also, thanks again for taking care of my girlfriend while she was in your world. . . Wait! I mean. . . our girlfriend. . . um. . .

Pony (Y/N) was a little confused on how this exactly works as (Y/N) stared at him with a raised eyebrow before looking back at Twilight to see her still talking with Sunset as they were both giggling at some girl talk that they had. The more (Y/N) thought about it though, he doesn't see Twilight as often and they've only known each other for quite a short time. He then smiled and looked back at Pony (Y/N) before putting a hoof on his shoulder.

(Y/N): No. . . your girlfriend.

Pony (Y/N): Huh?

(Y/N): Don't get me wrong. I love Twilight as much as you do as she done a lot for me in my world just like how you did a lot for her here in Equestria too. But even so. . . she belongs with only one of us and she lives here in Equestria. You were the one who got into a relationship with her first, not me.

Pony (Y/N) was surprised to hear his other self say this as it was probably one of the last things that he was expecting to come out of his mouth.

(Y/N): I've done my job at taking care of Twilight when she needed and if she were to ever return to my world for any reason, then I'll do the same as what kind of hero would I be if I wasn't. Even though I'm saying this to you, know that Twilight's really good at being a princess and if I was in your place, I couldn't ask for anybody better as she's smart, intelligent, and knows how to get the job done even if it does take our help. 

Pony (Y/N) stared at his human turned pony counterpart in shock from that explanation before he smiles at him and sticks his hoof at him. (Y/N) looks at it before knowing what that meant as he raised his hoof and looked at it before sticking it ahead and he shakes Pony (Y/N)'s hoof.

Pony (Y/N): Thanks. I truly do respect that.

(Y/N): No problem. It's what "I" do to make sure things are always right.

They both chuckled from this as (Y/N) has decided to let Twilight out of his harem and let his pony self do the job at being the best boyfriend.

Pony (Y/N): I'll be sure to tell her what you said.

(Y/N): I hope she'll take it well. . .

Pony (Y/N): Like you said, she's with me anyway, so I'm sure that she'll completely understand the situation. Also, I hope that some of those new tricks I demonstrated can help you out when needed in your world. You think that you'll be able to make those moves useful?

(Y/N): *smirks* Hey, you're talking to "you" ya know.

(Y/N) then decides to do the trick that he saw Pony (Y/N) do when he first arrived as he did a backflip in the air and spread his wings out to try and do a little magical dash in the air. . . only to get sent a couple of yards away with a small spark of (F/C) before he comes to a stop in the air and he falls to the ground to land on his head. Pony (Y/N) was surprised from this before he smiles as he sits down and claps his hooves for his duplicate.

Pony (Y/N): Dude, sweet! And you're only going to get better.

(Y/N) stood up on all four hooves and shakes his head to regain his composure as he looks at his pony self with a nervous smile. Twilight and Sunset then walk into the room as it seems as though Sunset was ready to depart back to the Human World where they truly belong.

(Y/N): You ready to go back, Sunset?

Sunset Shimmer: I think I am.

The two of them then turned towards the prince and the princess as they were getting ready to say goodbye to their friends again after they came to visit.

Twilight Sparkle: It was so nice to see you two again.

Sunset Shimmer: It was nice to see you and. . . Prince (Y/N) again too.

(Y/N): I really enjoyed our trip  to Canterlot. I even got to see my mother's best friends as ponies.

Pony (Y/N): *chuckles* I bet Celestia and Luna couldn't even tell that it wasn't me, did they?

(Y/N): Nope. It's truly uncanny.

Pony (Y/N): Still, wish you guys could stay here for a bit longer.

Sunset Shimmer: We feel the same way, but our friends are probably wondering where in all of the world have we been all day, so we don't want to keep them worried.

(Y/N): She's got a point.

Twilight Sparkle: I see. Well, we wish you both safe travels on your way back.

Sunset Shimmer: Oh, and Twilight. . .

Twilight Sparkle: Yes, Sunset?

Sunset then suddenly pulled Twilight in for a surprise hug which she did not expect, but she returned it regardless.

Sunset Shimmer: Thank you for being one of the first friends that I've ever had.

Twilight Sparkle: You're very welcome, Sunset. I will always be your friend whether I am here in Equestria or there right beside you in the other world.

After they separated, it was (Y/N)'s turn to share a hug with Twilight as they both smiled.

(Y/N): Take care of yourself. . . princess.

Twilight Sparkle: *giggles* You too, hero.

Both of them broke the hug before Twilight decides to give (Y/N) a goodbye peck on the cheek which surprised him. Pony (Y/N) saw this and he didn't mind that all considering that it was for a goodbye and it was himself as he just smiled. Sunset walks up to the portal and waves to her friends before stepping through to return back to the Human World. (Y/N) looks back at the two Equestria residents before walking back towards the mirror portal as well as Pony (Y/N) calls out to him one last time.

Pony (Y/N): Hey, (Y/N)! Enjoy your life in your world! I'm sure that it's going to be great!

(Y/N) looks back at Pony (Y/N) and smiles before saluting with a hoof before he makes his way through the portal to follow Sunset Shimmer and return back to where his original home was.

The Human World. . .

At the Wondercolt statue in front of Canterlot High, it was sunset as the mirror under the statue glowed before two familiar human figures emerged out of it and it was obviously Sunset Shimmer and (Y/N) as they both look up to see that they were back and they both sighed in relief.

(Y/N): *sighs* It's good to be back and return as my normal human self.

(Y/N) said as he took a look at himself to see that he was without doubt normal again with his normal attire back on as well.

Sunset Shimmer: Can't disagree with you on that. By the way, (Y/N) can I ask you something?

(Y/N): Name it.

Sunset Shimmer: There is still some daylight out. . . can we go back to that one place you showed me? You know that hilltop where you showed me that sunset and you played that song for me?

(Y/N): *nods* I'm sure that we still have a little bit more time to spend together, so why not?

With that being said, the two of them left the school and made their way towards the hilltop that (Y/N) showed Sunset. They both reached the top of the hill as they arrived just in time to see that the sun was setting all over the city of Canterlot. Both Sunset and (Y/N) smiled at this scenery as they both sat down on the grass to admire such a breathtaking landscape.

(Y/N): Man, every time I come up here I just can't take my eyes off of all of this. The way that the sunset makes the city shine bright I wish someone could actually make a realistic painting of this. Everything about this sunset is all that it takes to make and give me such a calm feeling.

Sunset Shimmer: Yeah. . . you just. . . can't help but be satisfied, huh?

Sunset said this in a slight sad tone while looking away which (Y/N) noticed with a really perplexed look as he thought that Sunset would have been over all of her sadness at this point.

(Y/N): Sunset? What's going on now?

Sunset Shimmer: I-It's nothing, (Y/N).

(Y/N): I'm not falling for that again, Sunset. You know that I'm going to turn around and ignore how you're feeling until I find out the cause of it. You've already told me a lot back in Equestria, so what's stopping you from being honest with me now?

Sunset stared at (Y/N) for a few seconds before looking back at the Sunset with a slight grimace.

Sunset Shimmer: Do you. . . Do you think that I belong here, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): H-Huh?? Wh-Why would you ask that, Sunset? Of cour-

Sunset Shimmer: Just. . . let me explain. I wanted to ask specifically you because I know that you've been with me all this time and it wasn't up until you asked that I finally had to tell you what was wrong. The things is that I just don't think that I'm supposed to be here despite everything that we've been through. Ever since we first met, all you saw me was somebody who was a liar, cheater, cruel, and just downright evil all because I wanted things to go my way. I know that I changed and everybody seems to see past that now. . . at least most of the school now. I just keep asking myself. . . do I deserve any of this? Even fixing my mistakes, do I deserve to have a life with such friends after most of the portion, I was formerly somebody who didn't really want that?

(Y/N): Sunset, I don't know where that came from, but I can see that I definitely need to answer that. Of course you belong here and you absolutely deserve everything that you have now despite what we all went through because of you.

Sunset was still doubting herself as her eyes got a little bit teary and she hugs her legs out of fear.

Sunset Shimmer: Even after I made you break up with your girlfriends months ago and I tried to kill you when I became a demon?

(Y/N): Sunset! Know this! Your past is NOT today! Stop thinking that this will all get worse!

He scooted closer towards Sunset before wrapping an arm around her to hold her closer so that he can comfort her more.

(Y/N): I know that it's hard to say that you weren't someone considered an evil pony or person, but look at yourself and where you're at now. You clearly shown that you've changed a lot ever since the Fall Formal this year and coming from me, that's saying a lot. I mean, I made a stupid mistake too when I trusted the enemy more than I trusted you, but you don't see me letting it get to my head. After defeating the sirens at the Fall Formal, I could feel that you have gone way over the limit to say that your past is going to change you back to where you were again. Sunset, you have no idea that I'm actually proud of you.

Sunset Shimmer: R-Really? You're proud of me?

(Y/N): Of course, that's the full truth. In fact, let me also say this. . . you're one of the most compassionate, caring, beautiful, and on top of all of that, empathetic girls that I've ever met in my entire life.

Sunset looks away with a slight blush being call the word "beautiful" as she wasn't expecting to hear that out of (Y/N)'s mouth.

Sunset Shimmer: Do. . . Do you really mean all of that?

(Y/N): I said it, didn't I? I meant every word. If anything, I wouldn't lie to just try and bring your spirits up because I know for a fact that you deserve all of those traits that I-

Sunset places her finger over (Y/N) to shush him which surprised him as he looked at her finger before towards Sunset's face who was smiling at him.

Sunset Shimmer: I think I get it. . . and also. . . (Y/N). . .

She blushes once more before placing her hand on her arm a little bit nervous.

Sunset Shimmer: There's something that I've been hiding from you for a while now that I've just got to tell you right now!

She then steels her nerves and gets a determined look on her face as she looks at (Y/N) before she quickly grabs (Y/N)'s cheeks. . . and she pulls him in to kiss him on the lips which shocked (Y/N) as he stared at Sunset with his eyes popped wide open as he certainly wasn't ready for that as he lets a muffled gasp. (Y/N) grew a huge blush on his cheeks before he sure enough closed his eyes as well and returned the kiss as well as he pulled her closer.

It went on for what felt like an eternity as the two finally parted from each other to regain their air as the two stared at each other.

(Y/N): Sunset. . . Where did that come from?

Sunset grew shocked from that comment as she went into full on panic thinking that you didn't take that gesture lightly.

Sunset Shimmer: I-I'm so sorry, (Y/N)! I-I know I said that I needed to tell you something, but I just couldn't help myself after hearing all of those kind words you gave me and-

(Y/N) calmed her down by placing one hand on her shoulder and the other towards her chin to make her look at him face to face as (Y/N) looked at her with a concerned look.

(Y/N): Sunset, just tell me the truth. . . There was more to why you did that kiss, wasn't it?

Sunset knew that it was too late to back out now, but even so her face was almost as red as a cherry. However, she decided to take a deep breath to control herself before looking back at him with a sincere look on her face.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y/N), I'm not going to hide what I've been wanting to say to you any longer as I feel like you need to hear it.

She finally did what she was prepared for and she confessed her true feelings for (Y/N) out loud.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y/N) (L/N), I. . . I love you! I really do love you very much! I didn't realize how much I did until after the Battle of the Bands. You've clearly done way more for me than anyone else has ever done. Even though we were really mean rivals for years, you still were willing to give me a second chance after the Fall Formal. You supported me and defended me when students around the school were distrustful and didn't see past my old actions. I know it broke me and all of us when we saw you with the Dazzlings, but I realize that you would never leave us even if you so desperately wanted to. It was everything that you did for me that allowed me to help you all out during the Fall Formal and sing to help you fight and defeat the Dazzlings. I know that it might be hard to believe, but I really do mean it when I say that I've fallen in love with you, (Y/N). Not like all of those other times when I tried to extort a date out of you. Everything that I'm saying right now is the full truth and how I really feel. Being by your side makes me the happiest girl in both here and Equestria.

She finally finished her confession and (Y/N) just stared at Sunset with a shocked expression as his mouth was agape at how meaningful those words sounded. (Y/N) was literally oblivious to this even after Sunset gave him one little peck on the cheek that one time before the Battle of the Bands and little did he know that was a hint that Sunset clearly not just likes him, she loves him. Just like all of the other girls in his harem. However, this was a confession for him and not him making a confession to the girls. Honestly, he now knew how they felt as his heart skipped a beat and he placed a hand on his chest before clenching it gently while closing his eyes.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Sunset. . . you're right. The day that we first met, I saw you as nothing but someone who wanted to get away with anything that they desired in Canterlot High. You were so cruel to everybody that I literally said that I would never date someone like you. . . but I think that today is where I officially eat those words as I finally realized that after the Fall Formal, you are someone that I truly care about as much as all of the other girls. . . You are a girl that showed so much empathy to us and the entire school as well. . . that I wanna say this as well. . . I'd love nothing more than to be by your side as well and to comfort and protect you when it's needed.

Sunset slowly grew a smile on her face as she thinks that he knows what (Y/N) is implying.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y/N). . . are you saying. . .

(Y/N): Sunset Shimmer. . . I love you as well and I accept your feelings. How would you like to join my harem and become one of my girlfriends?

(Y/N) says this as he extends a hand out towards Sunset who looks at it with shock before her eyes immediately filled themselves with tears of joy as she slowly puts her hand on top of (Y/N)'s and afterwards they both shared a huge embrace with each other.

Sunset Shimmer: *sobbing* I would love to be your girlfriend, (Y/N)!! Th-Thank you so much!! I. . . I love you so much!!

A tear escapes (Y/N)'s eye as well as he felt the exact same way that Sunset was feeling.

(Y/N): I love you too, Sunset. Welcome to my harem.

They both part from the hug while holding each others hands with a smile. They stared at each other for a little bit as they both knew that they didn't need to ask each other of what they wanted next. They both leaned him to share yet another passionate kiss with each other that lasted for a little bit before they part and they both turned towards the sunset out in Canterlot city while holding hands.

(Y/N): I know that I said that this sunset that I'm looking at is beautiful, but to be honest. . .

He turns to Sunset with a genuine smile on his face.

(Y/N): The sunset that's standing here right beside me is even more beautiful than this.

Sunset giggles from this with a blush on her face as she plays with her hair for a little bit.

Sunset Shimmer: You're so sweet, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Just telling you how much I love you, my beautiful sunshine.

Sunset smiles more before she then realized something else as she turned to (Y/N) with a serious look on her face.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y/N), there's actually one more thing that I need to ask of you.

(Y/N): Sure, I'll help you in however I can, Sunset.

Sunset Shimmer: I've actually been renting my home here ever since I first came here to this world by using some gems and jewelry that I smuggled here from Equestria. I used to have more than enough years ago, but now I'm at a state to where I don't think that I'll be able to pay my next rent. I may get kicked out soon and I don't know what to do as if I do. . . then I won't even have a place to live anymore. I was wondering if you could help me find a job.

(Y/N) was surprised to hear Sunset say this, but it made a lot of sense as that was probably another reason on why she was feeling so down today. He puts a hand to his chin and thinks for a minute before an idea popped up into his mind on how he can help Sunset out with her housing problem.

(Y/N): You know. . . maybe I can. Just recently there was this Eastern-themed restaurant at the mall that's open to hiring some new people lately. Maybe I can help you get a job there and you'll have your financial problems solved. Also, I'll even pay for your next rent as little bonus.

Sunset was shocked to hear that (Y/N) was willing to go that far to help Sunset out as it was rather overwhelming.

Sunset Shimmer: You'll really do all of that for me?

(Y/N): *smirks* Heh. Should that even be a question? You're my girlfriend now, Sunset. And as your boyfriend. . . I'll do whatever it takes to ensure that you stay happy while living here in all of the city of Canterlot.

Sunset smiled from that before she kisses (Y/N) on the lips once more before hugging him.

Sunset Shimmer: Thank you so much, (Y/N). You truly are the Hero of Canterlot High.

(Y/N): You're welcome, Sunset. I live up to my title. So what do you want to do now?

Sunset smiled again from this before she sits in between (Y/N)'s legs while snuggling herself onto his chest.

Sunset Shimmer: You don't mind if we stay like this for a little bit longer, do you?

(Y/N) blushed from this request before he smirks back at her while wrapping her arms around Sunset to pull her closer and he rests his head on top of hers.

(Y/N): I'd thought you would never ask.

(Y/N) and Sunset proceed to cuddle with each other for some more of the time as they both hummed into each others touch while staring out into the sunset which was almost about to finish it's descent over the city and transition into night time. As it does, (Y/N) looks down at Sunset and decides to say some last words to her to end the day with this moment.

(Y/N): I love you, my beautiful sunshine.

Sunset Shimmer: I love you too, my brave hero.

End of Rainbow Rocks Arc.

The Nintega Guy: And that does it for the Rainbow Rocks arc as we have now officially been through all of what's happened after Season 4. 

Sunset Shimmer: Nintega, that was such a sweet moment with how you made my story work with me. It was just. . . so heartwarming.

The Nintega Guy: Eeyup! Now that Rainbow Rocks is done, we will have to wait yet another season before we go onto the next arc of Equestria Girls.
