With everyone except for the (Hu) Mane 7 going back inside for the Fall Formal, (Y/N) was now on the steps to the front entrance as he sat down with Sunset Shimmer wanting to have a chat with her.

Sunset Shimmer: W-What did you want to talk with me about, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I wanted to ask you a question. Why'd you do it? After all that I heard from you being jealous of Twilight and I in your demonic form, was there a really a time that you had a terrible past in her world?

Sunset Shimmer: *nods* Everything that I said was true. My life in Equestria wasn't good to me at all and I'm guessing that Twilight has told you and your girlfriends who she really is in Equestria?

(Y/N): Yeah. She filled me in on what Equestria is like and that an identical pony version of me resides there too. I don't know absolutely everything, but I do know about the Earth Ponies, Pegasi, Unicorns, and Alicorns. Tell me how exactly your life was before coming here to our world.

Sunset Shimmer: Y-You want to listen to me. . . and my story.

(Y/N): Sunset, I know that you and I haven't really had the best interactions in the past, but I really want to know because I want to help however I can. If you don't want to talk about it right now, I would understand, but unless you tell me I won't be able to help out for what you feel ashamed for.

Sunset looks down to the ground in guilt as she was a little hesitant to tell her past to (Y/N), but she knew that he wouldn't be so ignorant about it now since he really wants to know. She then sighs before facing (Y/N).

Sunset Shimmer: Okay. . . I'll tell you what my life was like in Equestria.

(Y/N): I'm all ears.

Sunset Shimmer: I was born in the Canterlot that takes place in Equestria and raised by a wealthy family of nobles. I know if anyone were to hear that at first they would think that my life is amazing. . . but it wasn't. That's because. . . my parents abandoned me.

(Y/N) eyes widened in shock from that as it nearly made him jump.

(Y/N): Abandoned?! How?!

Sunset Shimmer: From what Princess Celestia told me back when I was studying with her in Equestria, I was left there at the castle as a filly without any sort of note or reason. I was found by a couple of ponies that are guards in the royal palace and was brought inside to be shown to Princess Celestia. She thought about it for some time before placing me with a wealthy family. Being brought over to them, they first reacted to being excited to have me as a child that they always wanted, but. . . after a few years had passed. . . they started abusing me instead.

(Y/N): That's. . . That's just. . . I can't describe how discouraging to you that must may be. What did they do?

Sunset Shimmer: They started treating me more as their slave than their own daughter in a family. They would make work vigorously day and night and always make sure that I would never fail or even be below the top in any of my classes. All I ever wanted was for them to love just once. . . but they never did.

All (Y/N) could do was stare at Sunset in shock for how mistreated she must have been and even some thoughts circled in his mind as his past is no where as bad as hers.

Sunset Shimmer: Even doing all of those things to try and make them proud wasn't enough, so I then enrolled in Princess Celestia's School of Gifted Unicorns to see if anything would change.

(Y/N): What did you do while enrolled in that school?

Sunset Shimmer: Well, first I had to use my magic to try and make a phoenix egg hatch. I thought it would be challenging, but what surprised me was that I was able to do on the first try which also surprised the judges. Right after that, I got my Cutie Mark and discovered my special talent in magic. I decided to pursue that and it even led me to getting the attention of Princess Celestia who approached me one day and asked me if I was willing to be her personal student. It was like a dream come true to be asked something like that as I was able to work under THE Princess Celestia and finally get the attention from my adoptive parents like I always wanted.

(Y/N): Huh. I know something like that has never happened to me, but I can just imagine the feeling of how proud you must've been.

Sunset Shimmer: I was. . . at that time. I thought it would be just enough for me to gain their respect. If anything, it only made things worse as they were still the same as before. They simply just urged me to succeed even more as Princess Celestia's student because they only cared about boosting their own status as nobles.

(Y/N): That had to have hurt your feelings. . .

Sunset Shimmer: It doesn't stop there though, I also had to deal with some of the other noble kids that were jealous of my reputation of being Princess Celestia's student so they never wanted anything to do with me at all. I had no friends and my parents never showed me any love or affection.

Sunset said this while having a sad look on her face while (Y/N) couldn't help, but feel bad for her. Hearing that she didn't have any friends in the past meant that she must've dealt with loneliness and (Y/N) got a feeling on his mind that he experience something completely similar to what it was like to having no friends.

(Y/N): Sunset, didn't you have the option to speak to anyone else though? Didn't you even think about telling, Princess Celestia about how terrible your adoptive parents and other fillies and colts were?

Sunset Shimmer: No, I never did. All that I had on my mind was wanting to impress and have my adoptive parents love me and care about me. So, I basically shut myself out and focused on my studies in the hopes that they would give me some recognition. I actually put that whole mean and cruel act on to try and not let anyone get in the way of my studies. I guess you could say that my adoptive parents were finally rubbing off of me.

(Y/N): Except that you were only doing it because you just wanted them to love you for all of your life.

Sunset Shimmer: Yeah, I did. That's all I wanted. That persona of me was on me for so long that I basically held onto it no matter what. You could probably say that I basically corrupted myself into become something that I was only pretending to be. I continued my studies thoroughly for next few months before one day Princess Celestia wanted to talk to me. She told me that she was concerned for the fact that I wasn't making any friends and that I was too concentrated on my studies. I disagreed from that and told her that they only thing that mattered to me was becoming the best. That's when she decided to show me the Crystal Mirror which is connected as a portal to your world. Princess Celestia asked me what I saw in it and I said that I saw myself as a beautiful pony who had nothing, but power and potential.

(Y/N) keeps listening to her as this story was more important to Sunset the more that she speaks.

Sunset Shimmer: She then reminded that humility was a thing while I was looking at myself in the mirror and I not only saw myself, but someone who could be more extraordinary. . . someone who could rule Equestria. Right as I said that. . . I saw it.

(Y/N): Saw what?

Sunset Shimmer: I saw myself as an alicorn. Which is the most powerful of all types of ponies and I also saw myself as a princess too. My eyes weren't playing tricks on me the more that I was looking at it, but I think that now it was just my egotistical mind telling me to see all of that. After that, I got so excited that if I actually become a princess then my adoptive parents could finally appreciate me and love me too. That night, I told them everything about what I saw in the mirror hoping that they would be proud. All they told me though was that I needed to do everything that I can to ensure that the title of princess can be rightfully mine. I wasn't all that surprised to see that they were only saying that to increase their popularity.

(Y/N): Wow, sounds like your parents needed some discipline themselves if they kept on doing that.

Sunset Shimmer: You have no idea. So after I told Princess Celestia about everything that I saw, I asked her if she could turn me into an alicorn, but she told me that I wasn't ready for that kind of responsibility yet. I told my parents about it and yet the same thing still happened once I told them as they only pressured me more and more to become an alicorn princess. After that, I practically begged Princess Celestia to turn me into an alicorn, but no matter how many times I asked she would say no and told me the same answer that I wasn't ready yet. I grew so impatient by that, that one day I grew tired of it and decided that I would sneak into the royal palace's library to find any kind of magic that could turn me into an alicorn which was strictly forbidden.

(Y/N): I'm guessing you didn't find what you were looking for?

Sunset Shimmer: No, but I did discover information about the Crystal Mirror and that it was actually a portal to another world and that it opens every thirty moons. Equestria had many myths of there being different worlds, but when Princess Celestia showed me that magic mirror, I had to believe it. What I didn't know though was that the librarian was still on duty when I was researching and she told Princess Celestia about what I was doing and sure enough she caught me. She wasn't happy in the slightest that I went behind her back to try and learn magic that I wasn't even close to being prepared for. I grew angry myself and talked back to her accusing that she withheld information from me and kept me from becoming a princess. She told me that the title of becoming a princess is not something you take, it's something you earn. . . That's when she expelled me as her student.

(Y/N) was shocked by this as his eyes widened.

(Y/N): You got expelled?! What happened next?

Sunset Shimmer: I was escorted out by two of Princess Celestia's guards. As they kicked me out of the castle, I couldn't help but think of what my adoptive parents would think of I told them about this. They would be beyond disappointed in me if they found out that I got expelled or worse. . . They would probably disown me and leave me out to only care for myself!

The more she went on, the more her voice increased in volume as tears were even flowing into her eyes. (Y/N) looks back at the other girls as they all very sympathetic expressions just like him before he places her hand on her back and rubs it. Sunset turns to (Y/N) from the sudden contact.

(Y/N): If this is all too much for you Sunset, you don't have to keep on speaking about it if you don't want to.

Sunset sniffles a little before she wipes one of her tears and shakes her head.

Sunset Shimmer: No, it's fine. You need to know about my past. Back to what I did afterwards, I looked back at the guards in anger and I forced myself back into the palace by pushing them aside, running back in through the palace. I snuck in to where the treasury was and stole some of its jewels for currency and I quickly went through the mirror which I remembered was a portal and it brought me to this world.

(Y/N): I'm guessing coming here for the first time must've shocked you.

She gave a quiet, but unenthusiastic chuckle to that.

Sunset Shimmer: Yeah, it was. I'm sure if anypony went through to here then they would freak out like I did, but I was able to handle all that happened after some time. It was even surprising that I couldn't use my own magic here, so I tried to find some information if there was any magic at all, and sure enough there wasn't. Since my life back in Equestria was ruined, I got the idea that I could be someone new in this world. Using the jewels and gems that I stole, I was able to sell them and buy my own place. After that, I enrolled in Canterlot High School at a time before you were introduced to the school and I had to blend in after I found out that the portal was closed. From then on, I had vowed Princess Celestia and my adoptive parents that I was worth something.

She then had a thought in her mind as she turned to (Y/N) to ask him a question.

Sunset Shimmer: You know, I always blamed my adoptive parents and Princess Celestia for ruining my life. But do you know who I blamed more than anyone?

(Y/N) shook his head to that rhetorical question.

Sunset Shimmer: The ones that I blamed the most. . . were my real parents. The ones who abandoned me on the front steps of the royal palace. I hated them the most as I always thought whenever they came into mind that it was their fault for putting me through all of this pain. I would just have a normal life.

Sunset looks down very sad and guilty while (Y/N) comforts her by rubbing her back gently.

(Y/N): I know that is all hypothetical, but Sunset. . . maybe your real parents didn't want to abandon you. Maybe they had no choice, maybe they didn't have the proper needs to raise you, or maybe. . . some other reason. I'm sure that they would never want you to go through with something like that through your life.

Sunset Shimmer: *sighs* I don't know. We might not ever know. That's was something that I wanted to know for a long time now too. Why? Why did they desert me? But you know what, the thing that I actually wanted the most more than respect from my adoptive parents was just revenge on my parents for ditching and leaving me. Anyhow, after I had enrolled at CHS, I decided that I wanted to gain respect by just taking it from my classmates through fear, manipulation, and order. You could definitely say that I became a bully even though before then, I kept on denying it. It didn't last too long though. . . You showed up a few weeks after.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened from this.

Sunset Shimmer: When I first saw you, I thought that you would be an easy target considering that you looked pretty timid at first glance. But in just a couple of days, you became friends with. . . your current girlfriends that you have now. The more you were around them, the more you became more brave and determined and I resented you because of that. You. . . probably remember the first time that we met and when you were the first person to oppose my reign, it led you to being called The Hero of Canterlot High, making me be beyond jealous of you.

(Y/N) nods from that as he could understand why some people would be jealous of him.

Sunset Shimmer: After some time of trying and failing, I searched around to see if there was anything that I could use to help me become the new ruler of Equestria and it led me to discovering some new things over the time I was here. Princess Celestia had apparently taken in a new student named Twilight Sparkle. How she had made many friends together, they found the Elements of Harmony, defended Equestria from many threats, and just recently she became an alicorn and she was crowned as a princess along with a prince that was in a relationship with her.

(Y/N): And hearing that, you must've not liked the news at all did you?

Sunset Shimmer: No, I didn't. I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I heard that someone else stole my chance of becoming a princess and not only that, she had a prince alongside her as well. After that is when I decided to go back in and steal both of the crowns containing the Element of Magic and the Element of Heroism to bring them through the Crystal Mirror so that I could gain power to becoming the new ruler and I thought that if you saw it then maybe you would follow right beside my as a prince as well. I snuck into what looked like the Crystal Empire and stole the crown. But when I tried to get away, Twilight and the rest of her friends chased after me. The crown went flying through the portal. That's when I chased after it and found Fluttershy had already found it and gave it to Principal Celestia. And I guess. . . you saw confront her and ever since after that, you know the rest.

With that, she was finally finished and (Y/N) just sat there processing everything that he just heard. This girl that's right in front of him as been from another world ever since they met. Her real parents leaving her at a palace, having to deal with some abusive adoptive parents that worked her until she was absolutely tired and so much that she was under the stress of trying to become a princess just because they only cared about boosting their popularity with the other nobles. She even was overly desperate with her teacher and it led to her betraying her and getting expelled as well. She feared her adoptive parents would do something bad to her so she ran and had no friends to talk to at all. She then accidentally ended up in his world and just wanted her ultimate desire just once in her life. . . to feel like she was needed. To be loved and cared for. She never got this her entire life even when coming to Canterlot High.

Seeing that she was very sincere during the entire conversation, (Y/N) could tell that Sunset wasn't lying at all about what her story was. He didn't even need Applejack for this either as even her and anybody else could tell just how much her entire life meant to her. Everything was the truth and (Y/N) couldn't feel anymore sympathetic with her along with the rest of the girls who were listening as well.

(Y/N) crossed his arms for a second and looked up at the night sky just thinking of how bad her past was as if he was thinking of his own as well. After a minute, (Y/N) looked back at Sunset and did something unexpected. . . He gave her a hug which made her gasp.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y-Y/N)?

(Y/N): Sunset. . . I am so sorry that all of that happened to you. You were alone for so long and nobody even noticed. You grew up with parents that you thought would love you, but turned out that they were just selfish and greedy who just wanted you to do what they say and treated you unfairly to the point where you just ran away from it all. The only thing that you wanted in your life was to be loved, respected, and be the happiest girl around after getting what you wanted, even if meant that you became a bully.

(Y/N) then let's go of Sunset who looks at him surprised before it turns back to worry.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y/N), what am I supposed to do now? I manipulated, bullied, and even so far as to becoming a demon. . . and I almost destroyed you too! Everybody just going to see me as a nothing, but a monster now!

(Y/N): Don't say that Sunset! Sure you did something wrong and they may not forgive you right now, but forgiveness is something that takes time. Some will say that they may never forgive you, but deep down I'm sure they will accept for what you've done and move on. You just need to prove that to them.

Sunset Shimmer: You really think so? I can really do that?

(Y/N): Well, I may have never gone through something like this, but I'm not the kind of guy that would try to make things worse for you. Besides, you can even start right now and you won't even be alone because I'll help you along the way.

Sunset Shimmer: You. . . You really want to help me?

(Y/N) then stands up and looks back at his girlfriends who smile at (Y/N) willing to help Sunset and Sunset looks them too with confusion.

(Y/N): Someone helped me see that any dilemma can be fixed if you just take a look at the flaws inside of it. Even before I broke up with my girls, we all saw you has someone who was an evil bully with no remorse at all, but tonight now that we're all together, we all see that you just wanted and was missing something the entire time while you suffered though such a terrible life. . . You were missing a friend. But you don't have to live that way anymore Sunset.

(Y/N) extends his hand out to Sunset who looks at it with astonishment.

(Y/N): Sunset Shimmer, I'll be your very first friend starting tonight. Would you like to be my friend too?

Sunset stares at (Y/N)'s hand before up at his determined smile on his face as she couldn't believe what he was offering. She had to spend most of her life trying to gain some admiration and love from her adoptive parents which resulted in getting absolutely nothing but more orders, she betrayed her mentor and got herself expelled, even running away from all of Equestria itself just to avoid her adoptive parents and becoming the evil bully queen of CHS. Now, (Y/N) who was her all time nemesis here at CHS is asking her to be his friend? How could she say no to an offer like that?

She soon began to shed tears of joy at the thought of being given a second chance and a chance to heal her from all of this pain that she suffered from. Instead of grabbing his hand though, Sunset instead jumped towards (Y/N) to pull him into a tight hug which surprised him before he quickly returned it.

Sunset Shimmer: *sobbing* Yes! Thank you (Y/N)! I would love to be your friend!

(Y/N) smiles from this seeing that he was able to help even his own enemies and they even became friends with him too. The two embraced each other for a short time before they separated from one another.

(Y/N): Don't worry, Sunset. As your friend, I will always be there for you when you need me. No matter what happens.

Sunset Shimmer: Promise?

(Y/N): It's a Pinkie Promise. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.

(Y/N) said this while doing the gestures which made Sunset giggle a little, but she continued to give (Y/N) a caring smile. (Y/N) then motions his hand for Sunset to get up and follow him which she does and the walk over to the rest of the (Hu) Mane 7 and Spike who had listened the entire time they were talking and they all had looks of sadness, guilt, and regret.

(Y/N): Looks like I don't need to explain things at all to the rest of you. You've heard what she said and why she did it.

Applejack: Y-Yeah sugarcube. We were listen' the entire time.

Twilight Sparkle: Sunset. . . is everything you said true?

Sunset Shimmer: Yes. . . It's all true.

Fluttershy then just walks up to Sunset with a little bit of tears strolling down her eyes.

Sunset Shimmer: F-Fluttershy?

Fluttershy then immediately pulled Sunset in for a hug and began sobbing on her shoulder.

Fluttershy: *sobbing* I-I'm s-so sorry S-Sunset! Y-You never d-deserved a-any of t-that!

Rainbow Dash: Y-Yeah, you didn't. If I ever saw those adoptive parents of yours, I'd give them a piece of my mind of how they shouldn't be treating you so unfairly!

Pinkie Pie: Yeah! If you had that much of a rough life then that means you never had a party to cheer you up! We'll need to change that.

Sunset Shimmer: Y-You. . . You would do that. . . for me? Even after what I did to you, your friends, and your boyfriend?

Pinkie Pie: Of course! After hearing about your super duper sad backstory, I now wanna just make you smile like I do all the time. Which means that I'm willing to forgive you.

Applejack: Pinkie's right. After hearing about yer past and how much pain you suffered back in Equestria, I'm more than willin' to let go of the past grudges and move on from everything.

Fluttershy: Sunset. . . I wish to help too like (Y/N) is.

Sunset looks at Fluttershy surprised that now she is offering to help her out.

Sunset Shimmer: B-But. . . But why?

Fluttershy: Because you were never shown kindness throughout your life, so I wish to give and teach it to you. I want to help you Sunset.

Pinkie Pie: Yeah! After you went through so much, it's the least we can do!

Rarity: You need any and all support that you can get darling.

Rainbow Dash: So we'll help you from here on out.

Twilight Sparkle: As a princess, I will do what I can to help you out too, Sunset.

(Y/N): See Sunset? You're not alone in this. We'll ALL help show you just how important friendship is and change your life into a better one.

Hearing all of those kind words from the (Hu) Mane 7 soon brought joyful tears to Sunset's eyes. She soon started to cry again before everyone brought her into a group hug in order to comfort her.

Sunset Shimmer: T-Thank you! I'm so sorry for splitting all of you up and for everything else I did to you!

Rainbow Dash: It's fine, Sunset. I can forgive you.

Applejack: I can forgive ya too.

Everyone then broke up from the group hug and (Y/N) spoke up.

(Y/N): So what are you going to do now, Sunset? You gonna go back to Equestria?

Sunset shakes her head.

Sunset Shimmer: No. It's too early for me to go back now. I've done so many wrong things here at CHS and I have to make them right.

(Y/N): *nods* That's understandable. It won't be an easy thing to do quickly.

Sunset Shimmer: I know, but if it makes what I've done wrong, right then I have to at least try.

Twilight Sparkle: I know that you can do it, Sunset.

Rarity: I think that now we should head inside and rejoin everyone for the Fall Formal.

Applejack: Rarity's right, y'all. Everybody is probably wonderin' where we are.

Rainbow Dash: Yeah, you're right. Let's go back in and rejoin everyone.

Pinkie Pie: Yeah! Let's have some fun!

(Y/N): You want to come with us, Sunset?

Sunset shakes her head no to that.

Sunset Shimmer: Sorry, I can't. I need some alone time as I don't think that I can face everyone inside of the school right now, so I'm going to stay outside and think over of what I need to do in my life.

(Y/N): Alright then, if that's what you want I won't stop you.

Pinkie Pie: Come on everyone! It's time to party!

(Y/N): Wait, Twilight! Don't you have to go back to Equestria soon?

Twilight looks up at the moon and sees that it's not quite at it's apex yet which made her smile.

Twilight Sparkle: Yes, but not just yet. The portal is still open for at least half an hour so I think I will enjoy the Fall Formal for a bit before going back. Besides. . .

Twilight then wraps her arms around (Y/N)'s right arm.

Twilight Sparkle: You still owe me a dance.

(Y/N) blushes a bit from that before giving Twilight a smug look.

(Y/N): Well, alright then. Let's finish this party, everyone!

(Hu) Mane 6: Yeah!

With that agreement, the (Hu) Mane 7 all went back inside of the gym to join everyone else in attending the Fall Formal. There was dancing as Applejack and Rainbow Dash had a small dance off with Scootaloo and Apple Bloom being in the drama. There was food too as Pinkie Pie not only stuffed (Y/N)'s face with cupcakes, but also drew on his face with some of the icing. When the (Hu) Mane 7 all went to take a picture together, Photo Finish wanted a lot of creativity causing the seven to use a lot of props and costumes, but they eventually took one all together casually with big smiles.

When it came to the time where (Y/N) and Twilight got the dance floor all to themselves, they slow danced with one another with (Y/N) teaching Twilight how. People all around watching were gossiping how cute they looked together as Prince and Princess of the Fall Formal even the rest of the (Hu) Mane 7. Twilight then showed everyone a new dance where she got on the floor and started dancing as if she was in her pony form much to everyone's befuddlement including (Y/N). (Y/N) however chuckled and decided to just copy what Twilight was doing as he thinks he could learn a thing or two from the way pony's dance.

Shortly after having all of that fun, the Fall Formal ended as the (Hu) Mane 7 were outside near the statue that had the portal back to Equestria as Twilight is hugged by the human counterparts of her friends.

Twilight Sparkle: You'll look out for her, won't you?

Everyone looks at the front entrance where Sunset stands watching them.

Rarity: Of course we will. Although I do expect some sort of apology for last spring's debacle.

Twilight Sparkle: I have a feeling she'll be handing out a lot of apologies.

Spike: We better get going.

Twilight Sparkle: I know we've only been friends for a short time, but I'm gonna miss all of you so much.

(Hu) Mane 6: We will miss you too.

(Y/N): Oh, before I forget.

(Y/N) walks up and takes off the crown that he was wearing before handing it over to Twilight.

(Y/N): I may be your prince in this world, but I know that crown belongs to the me from your world. Still, it kind of feels like we've been together for a long time.

Twilight Sparkle: *giggles* You know it kind of does. But. . . I guess we'll have to be apart once more.

(Y/N) nods as his eyes water up a little.

(Y/N): I'm really gonna miss you Twi.

Twilight Sparkle: Me too, (Y/N).

Twilight turns to walk back to the portal before a romantic thought crosses her mind and she immediately turns back to (Y/N) and walks right in front of him with a smile looking up at him.

(Y/N): *blushes* T-Twilight?

Twilight kept both of her silence and her smile before she does something completely unexpected and she places both of her hands on (Y/N)'s cheeks and kisses him on the lips surprising him as it immediately made him blush while the rest of the girls eyes widen and gasp. (Y/N) then slowly closes his eyes as he melts into the kiss and wraps his arms around Twilight to pull her closer. The kiss lasted not too long as the two separated and gave sweet smiles to one another. Twilight then says her last few words to (Y/N).

Twilight Sparkle: I love you, my sweet prince.

(Y/N): I love you too, my little princess.

That was the final goodbye as Twilight walks back to the portal with Spike following her as he smirked at her.

Spike: You just HAD to do that because it was (Y/N), didn't you?

Twilight Sparkle: Q-Quiet, Spike. I-It was an instinct that kicked in at the last second.

Spike: *rolls eyes* Sure it was. Anyway that crown actually does suit you, Princess Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: You know what, Spike? I am starting to feel a little more comfortable wearing it.

Spike: And the wings?

Twilight Sparkle: I've been walking on two legs and picking things up with what (Y/N) calls hands! Wings? I'm thrilled that's all I'll be dealing with back in Equestria!

Spike leaps through the magic surface of the portal and Twilight follows. On the lawn, the six friends Twilight has just left behind lose their ears, tails, and wings. The change catches Rainbow Dash flat-footed, as she was hovering at the time and thumps heavily down to the grass. Pinkie runs toward the portal, hits it face first, and only succeeds in knocking herself back to the sidewalk. She lifts her head woozily as the other five gather around.

Pinkie Pie: Aw bummer.

(Y/N): The portal's closed. Our magic was connected to both of those crowns, so that they're back in Equestria, we lost our powers too.

Pinkie Pie: Aw double bummer.

Rainbow Dash: So (Y/N), how was it like getting a kiss from a princess, hmm~?

The rest of his girlfriends gave (Y/N) a smug look interested in his answer, but he blushes, darts his eyes back and forth, and becomes flustered.

(Y/N): Uh. . . I'm out!

(Y/N) jogs off home not wanting to deal with the embarrassment while the rest of the girls look at each other and giggle.

(Hu) Mane 5: That's our (Y/N)!

Equestria. . .

At the Crystal Castle that houses the magic mirror, Twilight's five friends are waiting here nervously, along with Celestia and Cadence, with Rainbow pacing and the others sitting nearby. A whole lot of nothing happens for a few seconds before Twilight emerges out back in her equine form and straining mightily to keep her balance on only those two limbs. Gravity finally wins out over learned behavior, and her front hooves come down safely on the floor. Everypony around smiles as the girls all gather around Twilight as they are happy to see her.

Fluttershy: Twilight!

Rainbow Dash: You're back!

Rarity: You've got both of the crowns!

Pinkie Pie: I knew you could do it!

Applejack: Oh, we were so worried.

Princess Celestia: Sunset Shimmer, is she alright?

Twilight Sparkle: I think she's gonna be fine. I left her in good hands.

Rainbow Dash and Rarity trade a puzzled look.

Rainbow Dash: What are hands?

Twilight Sparkle: Oh. . . You'll have to ask-

Another flare from the mirror, and Spike comes flying out as if shot from a cannon. Restored to dragon form, he slams into Twilight's rump and tumbles to the floor. Looking himself over to make sure this is genuine, he exchanges an ecstatic look with her. Twilight then realizes that one pony is missing from the group and she looks around frantically.

Twilight Sparkle: Wait, where's (Y/N)? I figured he would be with you to see me back too.

Princess Cadance: Don't worry, he's here. I think the last time I saw him, he was speaking to a new member of the castle guard. Flash Sentry, I think his name was.

Twilight's eyes widened from that as it looks like her (Y/N) has bonded with the same guy that helped her out back in the Human World. She decided to walk through the corridor to find her boyfriend and eventually she heard a conversation going on as two voices sounded awfully familiar.

(Y/N): Well sometimes I just prefer my skills to be more of an art, not a science.

Flash Sentry: If you say so. From what I heard, you've read just about every combat spell book there is.

(Y/N): Well, not all of them as I still have a lot to learn.

Flash Sentry: Don't we all.

Twilight turns a corner to see (Y/N)'s back turned towards her and he was speaking with a stallion that had the exact same color palette as the Flash Sentry in the other world and he was wearing gold armor too. It didn't take but a second for Flash to notice Twilight right behind (Y/N) as he smirks at him.

Flash Sentry: Don't look now, but I think that there's somepony behind you that's desperate to see you.

(Y/N) raised an eyebrow at that before he does look behind him and his eyes popped wide open and he stares at Twilight like his eyes were playing tricks on him. Twilight's eyes water a bit and she smiles too being able to see her boyfriend again. After a few seconds, (Y/N) get's excited and rushes over to give Twilight a really tight hug which she returns.

(Y/N): TWILIGHT! You're back! I'm so glad you're okay!

Twilight Sparkle: It's okay, I'm here again. Sorry, if I worried you.

(Y/N): I'll be honest, I was a little worried. But something kept telling me that you'd be okay over in that world and sure enough my psyche was correct. I see you even got my crown back too.

Twilight levitates (Y/N)'s crown back on his head. They both then pecked each other on the lips before hugging once more over the success of the mission. The rest of the girls then joined in including Spike.

Spike: Oh, by the way Twilight made some friends over in that other world. They looked exactly like all of you.

Everyone around was intrigued by this as (Y/N) wraps a hoof around Twilight.

(Y/N): Well, this we've got to hear.

Rainbow Dash: Yeah! Tell us everything that happened there!

Walking more along the corridor, Twilight explained to her friends and Cadance what exactly that other world was like.

Fluttershy: Where did you stay?

Rarity: What did they wear?

Pinkie Pie: Did ya have fun?

Applejack: What'd ya eat?

Rainbow Dash: Would ya say she's just as awesome as me?

Twilight Sparkle: *sighs* I wanna tell you all everything, I do, but I'm just so exhausted from all the dancing.

This surprised her friends before (Y/N) got a thought in his mind and spoke up.

(Y/N): Still, it sounded like you weren't able to do everything on your own. How did you go to learn so quickly in that dimension?

Twilight Sparkle: Well. . .

Twilight was about to explain to (Y/N) how it started, but a certain pink party mare beat her to it.

Pinkie Pie: Once you fell through the portal, you met up with some guy that looked like (Y/N) who was able to teach you everything you know about what you needed to learn, but one of the times that you got stuck some guy you met in the other world who played a guitar, was in a band, and helped prove you didn't destroy all the decorations for a big dance, allowed you to even grab a date with (Y/N) too, but it was almost ruined due to him fighting as a hero again like always?!

Both stop as Twilight and (Y/N) fall into hopeless confusion as Twilight tries vainly to figure out how Pinkie could possibly be dead right in two worlds. The pink wacko finally stops to pull in a huge drum of air.

Pinkie Pie: Right?

(Y/N), Twilight, and Spike glance at each other for a brief moment before back at Pinkie.

Twilight Sparkle: How did you know that?

Pinkie Pie: Just a hunch.

Here comes a big squeaky grin, and here goes Pinkie, bouncing merrily off down the corridor. (Y/N) chuckles before saying. . .

(Y/N): That's Pinkie folks!

Twilight rolls her eyes and smiles at this latest example of the bizarre wisdom that is Pinkie, then wraps a foreleg around (Y/N) wanting to pull him in for a hug which he returns. The Mane 7 are glad to be back together and better than ever as the prince and princess are reunited once more.

End of Equestria Girls Arc.

The Nintega Guy: That'll do it. Equestria Girls is officially over.

Twilight Sparkle: You know when you started this, I wasn't expecting much, but you made such great development in this arc, Nintega.

The Nintega Guy: What can I say? I'm full of surprises.

Sunset Shimmer: I see you used a creative backstory for me as well, great way to end off this segment. So what's next?

The Nintega Guy: Actually, hate to break it to you, but this won't get updated for awhile.

Sunset Shimmer: Huh? Why not?

The Nintega Guy: The bad news is Sunset is that I'm more experienced with writing Friendship is Magic than Equestria Girls and also Rainbow Rocks didn't begin until after Season 4.

Twilight Sparkle: So, you're going back to the Hero of Equestria?

The Nintega Guy: Eeyup. Righto, my violet alicorn friend. This is still fun to write though as I do enjoy Equestria Girls too. But for now, until Season 4 ends, I'm going on hiatus.

Twilight Sparkle: But who will look after this story? It takes you over a month just to get finished with one season.

The Nintega Guy: And you CAN'T rush a masterpiece Twilight. These chapters take time and I work worse when I rush. Don't worry though, I've got not only Sunset, but my friends shadowlight2784 and Jordanwolfboy9743 got me covered for keeping the Equestria Girls fans occupied.
