Tonight was the moment where the Battle of the Bands finals would take place as the amphitheatre was filled with every student from Canterlot High School. However, the bands that were supposed to be playing tonight got changed due to a little bit of a predicament that happened earlier in the day with the Rainbooms. Now because of their absence, Trixie and the Illusions had to take their place up on the stage while the Dazzlings still had their position down. Trixie and her bandmates could be seen on stage performing their song Tricks Up My Sleeve again under a row of multicolored spotlights. All three have their wizard's hats on and Trixie has her cape. She does not have her guitar, but the others have their consoles slung up.

As the song continues outdoors where almost everybody in the school was, we now see the Rainbooms and Sunset down in the trapdoor together demoralized about their current predicament. Twilight, Sunset, Fluttershy, and Pinkie were either sitting or slumped down onto the floor, Rarity yawns in boredom, and Applejack was just sitting down bored as well that they're trapped. These girls however were nowhere close to (Y/N) as he was in a corner looking down ashamed as well. As for Rainbow Dash, she was at a closed door that was underneath the stage as well as she throws her full weight against it. This tactic gets her nothing but a sore shoulder, and she groans in mingled pain and frustration. 

Applejack: Give it up, Rainbow Dash. You've been tryin' at this for hours. It's not gonna open.

Rainbow Dash glares at the door and as much as she wants to keep trying, she knew she's going to have to call it quits at this point.

Twilight Sparkle: Maybe it doesn't even matter that we're trapped down here. I don't think the counter-spell would have worked anyway.

Applejack: *smiles* Of course it would have worked, Twilight. 

She then glares in Rainbow Dash's direction.

Applejack: Assumin' a certain band member didn't try to hog the spotlight the whole time we were tryin' to play it!

Rainbow Dash: Hey! If you wanna tell Twilight she's getting a little too caught up trying to be the new leader of this band, you don't have to be all cryptic about it.

Twilight backs fearfully away from Rainbow singling her out while the rest of the band members weren't amused to her being oblivious, not even (Y/N) as he even glares in her direction.

Rarity: She was talking about you, Rainbow Dash!

Rainbow Dash: Me?! I'm just trying to make sure my band rocks as hard as it needs to!

Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, & Fluttershy: OUR BAND!!

This was delivered with enough force to blow her hair back on her head. The guitarist with the hog-wild ego glowers at this outburst. Feeling like he knows where this is going, (Y/N) decides to speak up with a nervous look.

(Y/N): Wh-Why don't I just scooch on over towards the door and try to find a different method to get out. . . you know, just so you girls can. . . have your little talk alone. . .?

All of the girl except Twilight who sits down huddled up, glare in (Y/N)'s direction as he hunches down a little bit in fear.

Applejack: You ain't goin' nowhere, siren fanatic. As a matter of fact, none of us are.

Twilight Sparkle: But why wasn't it working? I should know what to do. How could I not know what to do? How could I have failed like this?

Sunset watches her as Twilight buries her head in her knees as if wishing she could sink through the floor. Sunset looks away with a panicked grimace at the heated argument that was growing among the Rainbooms.

Applejack: It might've been your idea to start a band, but it's not just your band, Rainbow Dash!

Rainbow Dash: I'm the one who writes all the songs!

Fluttershy: I write songs! You just never let us play any of them!

(Y/N) cowers a little as he throws his hands over his head.

(Y/N): Seriously. . . Just pass me some headphones and I'll act like I'm not here. . .

That was ignored as Rarity continues to speak after that.

Rarity: I had the most perfect outfits for us to wear!

Applejack: Again with the costumes! No one cares what we're wearin'!

Rarity: I care, Applejack! So sorry if I enjoy trying to make a creative contribution to the band!

Now Pinkie stands up between the two pairs.

Pinkie Pie: Hey! Anybody here remember fun?! I'll give you a hint: IT'S THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF BEING IN THE RAINBOOMS!

Rainbow Dash: Oh, come on Pinkie! You've got to admit that it was all fun until (Y/N) had to ruin it for us!

Rarity: Don't go passing the blame of what we're in now towards him, Rainbow Dash!

(Y/N): *smiles* Thanks, Rares!

Rarity: Zip it, pervert!

(Y/N) flinches from that before clapping a hand to his face really ashamed for what the Rainbooms saw earlier in the afternoon. The Dazzlings were trying to charm (Y/N) just so he could be a tool to them to anger the Rainbooms and he didn't realize it up until the moment he was caught by them.

Rainbow Dash: I wish I never asked any of you to be in my band!

Rarity: I WISH I'D NEVER AGREED TO BE IN IT!!!!

Applejack & Fluttershy: ME NEITHER!

(Y/N) didn't want this argument to escalate any further as he decided to get in between the girls despite them not really wanting to talk to him right now.

(Y/N): Whoa, whoa, whoa! Okay! Before we all start yelling things we regret, let's remember why we're all friends in the first place!

All five girls turn their attention to (Y/N) with unhappy looks and crossed arms as Rainbow Dash stomps up towards him balling up her fists.

Rainbow Dash: Okay, then please remind me why you nearly kicked me off stage along with the others! 

Rarity: I don't even get why we were ever still in a relationship with you, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Girls, I had to kick Rainbow and stop the performance so that her magic wouldn't activate and our cover would be blown!

Fluttershy: And yet you didn't trust us to deal with the situation!

(Y/N): What?! No! I trust you all, Fluttershy, it's just that. . .

Applejack then steps in as she points a finger and places in on (Y/N)'s chest while glaring at him.

Applejack: No you don't, (Y/N)! You trusted the Dazzlings way more! You know how much of a pain in the apple core that is?! I-I mean why are ya still talkin' to us after that act you pulled on us behind our backs?!

(Y/N): I DO trust you, Applejack! But now we're ALL in here trapped underneath the stage with no way out because I did something stupid! And I keep telling you that whatever you saw, didn't happen! Do you know how much "that" is a pain in the apple core?!

Rainbow Dash: Actually, nothing is more of a pain than having to see my band go wrong in so many ways from the start!

(Y/N) and Applejack instantly glared at Rainbow Dash along with the rest when her cocky attitude struck once more.

(Y/N), Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy & Applejack: RAINBOW DASH! YOU'RE A PAIN!

There follows a lively six-way argument, none of whose participants notices the wisps of varicolored greenish energy that begin to emerge from the group and drift upward. Sunset can only stare in mute terror as the verbal barbs keep flying and the power rises toward the underside of the stage.

Back up on the topside, Trixie and the Illusions were just finishing up their song as they sing the final verse.

Trixie: ♪ Ya better believe ♪

♪ I got tricks up my sleeve ♪

♪ See me dominate ♪

♪ 'Cause I'm powerful and grea-ea-eat ♪

After the song was finished, fireworks fly and burst at low altitude overhead to the sound of hearty cheering. The Dazzlings were seen backstage tricked out in a new set of outfits for the finals. Adagio was wearing a short, pleated purple skirt over a light violet under-skirt, Aria had on a sleeveless dark purple top with a pattern of white lines, and Sonata had on short-sleeved, off-shoulder blouse striped in two shades of magenta.

Trixie and her bandmates walk past her with looking proud of their performance on stage.

Trixie: Try to top that!

Adagio Dazzle: *sarcastically* Oh, gosh! I don't know if we can!

By this time, Aria is smirking right along with her as all three end up giggling maliciously after she finishes. A gesture from the boss hushes them up pronto as the Rainbooms' energy is seeping up through the crack and forming a foggy layer on the stage and the Dazzlings looking on with wonderment. A round of nasty smiles and grins passes among the three exiles from Equestria. They then suddenly notice a more greenish-(F/C) stream of energy seeping out as well as Sonata looked mesmerized by it while Aria's eyes widen from this.

Aria Blaze: You weren't kidding. That (Y/N) did have some extraordinary magic coming out of him.

Sonata Dusk: Shouldn't we take it?! It looks really shiny!

Aria and Sonata were getting ready to walk forward as they thought that they were both going to get that huge source of energy coming from (Y/N) until Adagio puts her hands in front of both of them to stop her.

Adagio Dazzle: No! That one. . . is mine!

Aria and Sonata look at each other surprised from that before looking back towards Adagio who had an evil smirk on her face looking towards (Y/N)'s special Equestrian magical energy.

Adagio Dazzle: Twinkle, twinkle, Equestrian magic. How I wonder your arrival is so tragic? Up above the world so high. . . Are you ready to be mine~?

Adagio says this evilly as she raises a fist and clenches it before letting out a quiet chuckle. Aria and Sonata looked at each other again in confusion as Sonata shrugs her shoulders as to what could've made Adagio so desperately want (Y/N)'s Equestrian magic so badly. Nonetheless, they shared their leader's evil grin as they were getting ready to start their performance.

The spectators find themselves bathed in an eerie green glow as up onstage, the Dazzlings emerge from the greatly thickened miasma, their pendants glowing at their throats. They step slowly forward to stand in line, moving their arms in a sinuous, snakelike fashion, and vocalize a unison line that splits off into harmony as their gems pull in the aura surrounding them.

The Dazzlings: ♪ Ahh, ah-ah, ahh ♪

♪ Ah, ah-ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah ♪

♪ Ah, ah-ah, ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah ♪

(Pause at 0:27)

Back down underneath the stage, Sunset watched all of these wisps of green mist while staring wide-eyed above her. She suddenly realizes why the Dazzlings are on the stage all of a sudden, why the energy was leaking out, and why they were trapped down their in the first place.

Sunset Shimmer: Stop! You have to stop!

Everyone falls silent as she rushes over to them.

Sunset Shimmer: This is what they've been after all along! They're feeding off of the magic inside you!

Applejack: How can they be using our magic? It's the magic of friendship.

Twilight who was still sitting miserably on the floor, trades a scared look with Sunset before the latter finds her tongue again.

Sunset Shimmer: Ever since you started this band, you've been letting little things get to you. I never said anything 'cause I didn't feel like it was my place. Not when I was so new to this whole "friendship" thing. I still have a lot to learn. But I do know that if you don't work out even the smallest problems right at the start, the magic of friendship can be turned into something else.

Twilight then deicides to get onto her feet and she steps up to stand with Sunset by her side.

Twilight Sparkle: I can't believe all this tension was happening right under my nose and I didn't realize it. I'm supposed to be the one with all the answers. And all I've done since I got here is let you down.

Sunset lifts a hand, hesitates, then rests it on Twilight's shoulder with a gentle smile.

Sunset Shimmer: I don't think anyone is supposed to have all the answers. But you can count on all of your friends to help you find them.

The girls of the Rainbooms smile from this while (Y/N) had a neutral expression until Sunset's eyes landed on his in which made her frown.

Sunset Shimmer: Well. . . "almost" all of your friends.

Twilight knew exactly what she was talking about as they both looked at (Y/N) who suddenly stepped back a little in a bit of guilt as Twilight and Sunset walked over to join the rest of the girls who were also scowling at (Y/N). (Y/N) hesitates a little as he raises a hand before reaching it out towards the girls.

(Y/N): Girls. . . can we please just talk about what happened?

Twilight Sparkle: I'm afraid we don't really have much that we even want to say to you right now, (Y/N).

She says this as all of the girls turn their backs towards (Y/N) whose mouth opens in shock from this. He looks down towards the ground with watery eyes and he wipes away a tear before deciding to just speak to them.

(Y/N): Okay, you girls don't have to speak to me. . . but at least listen to what I have to say. I know all of you blame yourselves on not seeing that the Dazzlings were trying to take our magic and if I'm being honest. . . I knew all this time, but I didn't say anything. If anything, the one who you all should mostly be blaming here is me and it's not just for keeping a secret.

The girls don't even think about facing (Y/N), but some of them had different reactions to what he just said as Twilight and Sunset looked down in slight sadness, Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash had their arms crossed with angry looks on their faces, and both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy looked at each other slightly confused as (Y/N) continued to talk.

(Y/N): To tell you the truth, from the moment I laid my eyes on the Dazzlings. . . I did get a huge crush on them. . . it was so obvious that even I realized it when I was really lying this whole time that I didn't really have a thing for anybody else. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about them all of the time that it drove me to being unfocused from the task at hand and even do their bidding somewhat as well. There were instances where I could've just helped you all with your problems, but I just ignored myself and kept my thoughts on the sirens.

Pinkie Pie reached into her hair and decided to pull out a cookie before munching on it to pretend like she wasn't listening to what (Y/N) was saying at all. 

(Y/N): Though the time that I entered the hall was where my thoughts actually where brought back to what was important. The Dazzlings confronted me and tried persuading me in various ways so that they could get me to join them on their side. They were really trying so hard. . . that it lead up to what you girls saw in the hallway. But what you saw happen. . . didn't happen! I never kissed Adagio! When she was inches away from my face, I pushed her back because as much as my mind was telling me to go for it, I knew that deep in my heart I couldn't. . . because of you girls.

All of their eyes widen from this as they all looked at each other in shock of what they were hearing.

(Y/N): Adagio tried stealing a kiss from me, but I stopped it because I loved you girls. . . more than anything! When you left me, I was heartbroken and really guilty. . . but it got worse as the sirens even tried blackmailing me to show a picture of Adagio nearly kissing me out to the entire school. That's why I trapped you girls. . . and pretty much myself down here! I was forced to do their bidding one last time and because of that. . . we're all in here and the Dazzlings are feeding off of our magic. I know you girls don't believe and to be honest. . . I don't blame you as I could be making all of this up. . . but even so, I don't want to ever lose you girls as my girlfriends. You all mean WAY more to me than some evil sirens and that's the real deal of what you're hearing here.

(Y/N)'s eyes watered up once more as he sniffs a little before wiping his eyes.

(Y/N): *sniffles* You girls don't have to speak to me ever again if you want to. . . but I just want you all to know. . . that I love you. I love you all.

(Y/N) wipes one final tear from his eye as he waits for a response from one of the Rainbooms and from their view, some of them had tears in their eyes from what (Y/N) said to them and some others were still a little bit hesitant on wanting to believe his little story. (Y/N) continued to look at all seven of them as none of them pivots for a minute. . . until one girl did.

Applejack closes her eyes and sighs before she turns herself towards (Y/N) with a serious look on her face before walking up to him and she looks up at him deep in his face as if she was looking for something. (Y/N) shared the same look back at Applejack, who crosses her arms and continues to stare up into (Y/N)'s eyes in silence. This went on for about a minute. . . before Applejack's serious look slowly starts to fade away.

Her eyes slowly make her face turn into one that looked like sad shock. (Y/N) didn't say anything and kept his serious look on Applejack whose mouth opens wide in shock. The more she was staring at (Y/N), the more that she sees that nothing fishy about him was going on. . . This meant that he wasn't lying at all.

Applejack: H-He. . . He ain't lyin' y'all. . .

The Rainbooms were all shocked from hearing someone like Applejack say that considering that she's probably stubborn enough to still believe something like that was a lie. They all slowly turned around to Applejack and (Y/N) as Fluttershy steps forward just a little bit.

Fluttershy: How can you be so sure?

Applejack: *sighs* Whenever (Y/N) lies. . . he'll either sweat even a single drop from his forehead, he'll bite his lower lip, or he'll stutter when he talks. And he's showin' no signs of any whatsoever.

The Rainbooms' eyes all widen from this before they all step up to walk up towards (Y/N).

Applejack: You're tellin' the truth. . . aren't ya hun?

(Y/N) nods from that before pulling out his phone and he taps on it before pulling up the photo that Sonata took of Adagio trying to kiss (Y/N). The Rainbooms' all gasp when they see this picture, but it's more on the Dazzlings rather than (Y/N).

(Y/N): If what Applejack said wasn't proof enough, this is a photo that one of the sirens took of Adagio trying to do, you know what. You know perfectly at an angle like that, I couldn't have taken a picture like that.

Twilight Sparkle: Considering that we see both of your hands and the distance. . . you're right.

Sunset Shimmer: But why would the Dazzlings even want to do that considering they knew that you had an interest in them? They seemed interested in you as well.

(Y/N): That was their plan. They weren't interested in me because they felt like it, they were interested in me because I could be used as a pawn to them and they could steal the Equestrian magic from me during that process.

Rainbow Dash laughed just a little bit.

Rainbow Dash: Ha ha! They deceived you pretty good, didn't they? I could've came up with something better if I was in their shoes.

Everybody glared at Rainbow Dash who realized exactly what she said as she rubs the back of her head nervously.

Rainbow Dash: Sorry. . . Not really the moment to be bragging about something that I didn't even pull off. . .

(Y/N): *rolls eyes* Ugh! Look the point is. . . no matter what "girls" that I come across or what crush I develop. . . No one can replace you girls. And that's one hundred percent true. If anyone wanted to join this harem, I would need permission from you girls first. . . I would never try and sneak around behind your back to secretly have another harem. That's extremely inconsiderate towards the feelings that you all developed for me and vice versa.

The Rainbooms all smiled from this as Pinkie Pie's eyes teared up and she pulls out a handkerchief from her hair and blows into it dramatically.

Pinkie Pie: That was so touching. . .!

(Y/N): So, I'm sorry. Can you girls forgive me for all of the misunderstandings that we've come across this entire time?

The Rainbooms all looked at each other with smiles before Rarity walks up to (Y/N) with a serious expression as she crosses her arms before looking up at (Y/N)'s face.

Rarity: (Y/N) dear, we're happy that you told us the truth and that you truly do feel that way about us, but you do realize that your lies almost caused us to make us think that you did something unforgivable, right?

(Y/N) looks away and awkwardly nods from that question.

(Y/N): Of course.

Rarity smiles from this before she steps and kisses (Y/N) on the lips which surprised him as she wraps her arms around his neck for a brief moment before letting him go and Rarity looks up at him with half-lidded eyes.

Rarity: Then I suppose we have nothing else to say, but don't let it happen again.

(Y/N) smiles from that as it looks like that he was forgiven for everything that they all went through because of him as he firmly nods.

(Y/N): Okay.

Applejack: We're serious, hun. Don't go lyin' about somethin' that deep to us again. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to repeat that time where ya pranked me with a rotten apple and I gave ya the boot, remember?

(Y/N)'s eyes widen in shock from this as he squeezes his legs as if knowing exactly what Applejack was talking about. 

(Y/N): N-No worries, my days of lying like this are over.

Applejack: *laughs* Now, I know that's definitely a lie.

She says this as she walks up to kiss (Y/N) on the lips as well. Rainbow Dash was next after Applejack parts from (Y/N) as she instantly gives him a peck and hugs him and (Y/N) hugs her back.

Rainbow Dash: You know. . . as much as I didn't like it, I guess you did kind of save us when I got a little out of control playing my guitar on stage. I just hope next you think of something better.

(Y/N): Coming from someone who doesn't know when her ego balloon pops.

Rainbow Dash rolls her eyes from that before playfully punching (Y/N) on the shoulder. Pinkie Pie then jumps up onto (Y/N) as she latches onto him while nuzzling his cheek before pecking a couple of times all over the face which made (Y/N) smirk.

(Y/N): I think that's proof enough that you've forgiven me, right Pinks?

Pinkie parts from (Y/N) for a second and nods firmly as she smiles with a squee before Fluttershy walks up to hug (Y/N) as he returns it and pats her head and Fluttershy's eyes water up as she felt a little bit guilty.

Fluttershy: I'm so sorry for everything that we all said to you, (Y/N). . . We should've listened to you.

(Y/N): It's not your fault, Fluttershy. . . It's mine. . . You don't need to apologize.

They both part from the hug as (Y/N) pecks Fluttershy on the lips for a brief moment as she giggles with a small blush. Finally, Twilight was last as she looks up at (Y/N) and gives him a small smile as he smiles back at her. They both held each others hands as (Y/N) sighs a little bit in guilt.

(Y/N): It's as you said. . . so much for you and my other self counting on me, huh?

Twilight Sparkle: You did make a mistake, (Y/N). . . but trust me. . . The (Y/N) from my world has made plenty of mistakes before as well. Some that I am still a little bit peeved at. . . but I know that I can forgive him just as I've done for you.

Twilight says this as she kisses (Y/N) on the lips which the human boyfriend returns smiling into the kiss and they both held it before breaking apart from each other. Sunset smiles that (Y/N) was able to rekindle his relationship once more with his girlfriends as she feels like this must've how it felt when they got back together the first time. 

Sunset Shimmer: ((Y/N) does really care. . . He would never want to hurt any of us. . . I see now why he truly loves all of them. . .)

However, the more that she did, the more that she felt a tiny little bit of envy for some reason as she looks away awkwardly before rubbing her arm with a hand while blushing.

Sunset Shimmer: (But why do I feel. . . left out for some reason? Could it be that he doesn't think that I've forgiven him either? No! That can't be it! It's something. . . deep in my heart that I feel after hearing (Y/N) tell us all that. He said that he loves all of us. . . was he referring. . . to me as well?)

Her thought was interrupted from that as (Y/N) looked at all of the Rainbooms with a bright smile on his face.

(Y/N): Trying to solve a problem among others is hard as we've dealt with all of this before, but deep down let's know that as friends, everything that we do. . . we do together no matter what. We can get into arguments and fights, but you know what? I don't really care anymore. It's part of friendship to know that we'll all disagree with each other once in a while. Even so, our friendship is still intact and we know it.

It takes Twilight a second to get this through her head, but she comes out of it with a smile.

Twilight Sparkle: You know, (Y/N), that just gave me an idea. I wasn't expected to know all of the answers to how we'll deal with this, but I think I do now.

Twilight says this with renewed determination as she gestures towards the door.

Twilight Sparkle: C'mon! We need to get out of here!

(Y/N) looks at the door before getting a determined expression as he backs up towards the far end of the trap room where he'll get the most distance from the door.

(Y/N): Alright, everyone. Stand back. I'm going to break this door down like it's a soda can.

All of the girls were surprised from this as they all stepped out of his way and (Y/N) takes a deep breath and gets in a running start position before after a few seconds, he sprints at full speed towards the door while holding both of his arms out in front of him. He yells when he got close and when he braces for impact on the door. . .

It was suddenly opened which shocks (Y/N) as he tried to slow himself down and get some traction, but he instead trips clumsily out of the door and he flips in the air while yelling.

(Y/N): AAUGH!

Gravity then instantly works itself as (Y/N) lands back down on the ground and flat on his back as he winces in slight pain. The girls were all shocked from this as they peeked out to see if (Y/N) was okay.

Twilight Sparkle: (Y/N), are you okay?

(Y/N): *groans* Why. . .? Why did it have to be the Charlie Brown thing?! On me of all people?!

Suddenly, a certain dragon turned dog walks up beside his head with a sheepish smile.

Spike: *nervous laugh* Sorry. . . I didn't think that you would actually just run out of the door like that, (Y/N).

Twilight then notices Spike and she breaks into a joyous smile.

Twilight Sparkle: Spike!

Spike turns to Twilight with the same smile as he runs up to her and she sweeps him up into a hug. (Y/N) stands back up and dusts himself off before walking back over to Twilight and the rest of the Rainbooms while smiling at Spike as well.

(Y/N): We're glad to see you though. Where did you run off to over the last few hours?

Spike: Sorry I took so long. After I saw the sirens trap you in here, I had to find somebody who wasn't under the sirens' spell to help me get you out.

That somebody chooses this moment to peek in around the doorframe as it was Vinyl Scratch.

Vinyl Scratch: Hey guys, need some help?

(Y/N): Vinyl?! Oh, man! Are we glad to see you!

Twilight Sparkle: Why isn't she under their spell?

Spike: Never takes off her headphones.

(Y/N) scratches his head from that before his eyes widen as he remembered the time that Flash and him caught her in the halls with her headphones on not really listening to her surrounding as not even the school bell got her attention.

Vinyl Scratch: It was all weird. People around CHS started acting like real jerks, including Octavia as I don't ever see her competitive about anything at all. She mostly just loves playing her cello as her favorite hobby and I was puzzled when she entered the Battle of the Bands. I was even more confused as to why it was all happening until I saw all of your weird acts on stage along with the talking dog. Once he found me, I just knew something was going on with those three girls that everybody is so desperately captivated by.

(Y/N): I see. Well, I hate to ask, but can you help us again? Those girls are actually sirens and they're using power that they stole from us. We need to stop them before all of Canterlot hears them and we have a city fill of mean people who do the Dazzlings' biddings.

Vinyl Scratch: You kidding? If it means getting my friend back and all of the students back to normal as well. I'll be more than happy to help.

(Y/N): Great! Thanks, Vinyl. We totally owe you.

(Y/N) then turns back to the Rainbooms with a determined smile on his face as he gives a thumbs up.

(Y/N): It's time we put an end to the Dazzlings' magic, all of this chaos, and show them that our magic is stronger than ever.

Applejack: He's right! Come on, y'all! Time to prove we've still got the magic of friendship inside us!

Twilight Sparkle: And there's only one way to do it!

Pinkie Pie: We're getting the band back together?

Rainbow Dash: We're getting "our" band back together!

Pinkie Pie: Whee!

Rarity: Ooh, which version of the counter-spell are we going to play?

Twilight Sparkle: I don't think it matters what song we play, as long as we play it together as friends.

Rainbow Dash: I know just the song.

Concerned glances pass between Twilight, Applejack, and Sunset and (Y/N) folds his arms before sending Rainbow Dash a skeptical glare.

(Y/N): *sternly* Dash. . .

Rainbow Dash: Let me finish. 

She then crosses on over towards a downcast Fluttershy.

Rainbow Dash: Fluttershy's written a really great one.

Those words split Fluttershy's face into a huge squeaky grin.

Applejack: We're about to save the world here. Personally, I think we should do it in style. Rarity?

Rarity: I thought you'd never ask!

Rarity pulls out a clothes rack that had six garments on the rack are sleeveless, in assorted bright and vivid colors, and five of them sport patterns based on the Cutie Marks of all but Twilight. The centerpieces of the last dress are a pair of eight-pointed stars, gold at the neckline and silver at the waist. 

(Y/N) counts all of this outfits and raises an eyebrow in confusion.

(Y/N): Hey, Rares. Where's my outfit?

Rarity: Bup-Bup! You didn't think that I would forget you, did you love?

Rarity says this as she pulls out yet another rack and once she does, she gladly displays that it has a (C/C) long sleeved tailcoat on it with patterns of (M/C) and (F/C) zigzag stripes on it, and his Cutie Mark was displayed on the back of the coat. (Y/N) grins from this which instantly tells that he loves the outfit that Rarity made for him as he walks up and pecks her on the cheek.

(Y/N): Rarity, don't ever change.

Back up onstage, the Dazzlings were continuing their performance as they dance from side to side and every occupant utterly captivated by the unfolding spectacle.

Up on a hilltop, the Rainbooms are standing here, Twilight and Pinkie holding microphone and drumsticks, respectively and the other five have their instruments ready. All have changed into the dresses Rarity provided and donned platforms in various styles and colors, as well as tights in a different color for each leg. Applejack has traded her usual brown cowboy hat for a red one in a slightly different style. (Y/N) has also changed into his outfit as well along with having a different style of pants and shoes.

Every last one is greatly daunted by the sonic subterfuge unfolding before them. A wind blows across the hilltop, toying with their hairstyles and doing little to cover the Dazzlings' singing.

Rainbow Dash: How are we supposed to play over them from up here?

(Y/N): I asked Vinyl to find anything that she could that could level our music and enhance it to form it into like a sonic blast. I don't know what, but I hope she gets here soon.

The sounds of a car horn and approaching tires catch them off guard, and they turn to find Vinyl Scratch rolling up in a light blue convertible with Sunset and Spike here as well.

Vinyl Scratch: You guys need some noise to amp up your music? Check this out!

She then produces and clicks a remote to shut off the engine and headlights, but the device triggers many more effects in the bargain. The front bumper flips up to expose an equalizer panel and a row of lights, lava lamps pop out ahead of the front wheels, speakers swing out from both sides and up from the rear end, the latter accompanied by a bank of multicolored laser emitters to add a light show.

Sunset smiles at the radical change-up, and the seven performers add their own exclamations of delight.

Pinkie Pie: Awesome!

Rainbow Dash: Sweet!

(Y/N): Okay, girls!

He slings up his guitar and faces the Dazzlings with a gutsy expression as the rest do the exact same.

(Y/N): Here we go!

Back on the stage, waves of red energy radiate from the Dazzlings and wash over the crowd.

The Dazzlings: ♪ Feel the wave of sound ♪

♪ As it crashes down ♪

The enchantment takes hold as a flash from the pendants, and the three begin to rise off the boards.

♪ You can't turn away ♪

♪ We'll make you wanna sta-a-a-ay ♪

The gems on their pendants burn red, throwing rays in all directions. Now visible as only silhouettes, they each sprout the same pony ears and hair extensions that previously manifested on the Rainbooms.

♪ We will be adored ♪

♪ Tell us that you want us ♪

♪ We won't be ignored ♪

♪ It's time for our reward ♪

A flash, and their normal colors are restored along with having sparkles on the outfits, and translucent fin-like wings on each of the three sirens' backs.

♪ Now you need us ♪

♪ Come and heed us ♪

♪ Nothing can stop us now ♪

An abrupt sound suddenly catches them off guard as Adagio grimaces mightily once she gets her eyes turned in the direction of Aria's pointing finger. The Rainbooms were all up on the hilltop singing their song with Vinyl's mobile sound and light show to back them up.

The Rainbooms: ♪ Oh-oh, oh-whoa-oh ♪

♪ I've got the music in me ♪

♪ Oh-oh, oh-whoa-oh ♪

Twilight Sparkle: ♪ Don't need to hear a crowd ♪

♪ Cheering out my name ♪

The students start to come to their senses and glance toward the band.

♪ I didn't come here seeking ♪

♪ Infamy or fame ♪

The Rainbooms: ♪ The one and only thing ♪

♪ That I am here to bring ♪

Smiles spread through the crowd which signals that the spell that the Dazzlings casted on the students was now failing.

♪ Is music, is the music ♪

♪ Is the music in my soul ♪

A burst of white light envelops the group, and one by one, a wave of objects matching the Cutie Mark of each Rainboom signals that they're undergoing their half-pony transformation and their clothes beginning to sparkle.

♪ Gonna break out (Out!) ♪

♪ Set myself free, yeah ♪

Applejack gets red streaks in her hair. Rarity gets pink and blue streaks in hair. Fluttershy now has streaks of yellow and dark pink as she twirls in place with some wings on her back as well. Rainbow Dash slides forward on her knees to strike a chord as her hair stays the same color, but she still transforms with wings too. Pinkie gets a two-tone blue streak in hair. Twilight, gets streaks of light blue and pink down the full length of her hair, along with a pair of wings, and she catches a microphone thrown to her. Lastly, (Y/N) got streaks of a couple of shades of (F/C) in his hair and he grows wings on his back too as he strikes a chord as well.

♪ To set yourself apart ♪

All but Pinkie end up floating high above the improvised second stage. Adagio was frustrated by the sudden turn of events, but nonetheless she just smirks sinisterly.

Adagio Dazzle: So the Rainbooms want to turn this into a real Battle of the Bands? Then let's battle!

The Dazzlings: ♪ What we have in store (ah-ah) ♪

♪ All we want and more (ah-ah) ♪

♪ We will break on through (ah-ah) ♪

The crowd falls under their influence again as Adagio's eyes started glowing red.

♪ Now it's time to finish you! ♪ 

A pulse travels from her pendant to those of Aria and Sonata, the eyes of these two going crimson as well, and a blast of red and white magic pours outward from the stage to turn the sky a lurid crimson. One by one, each gem sends up an apparition matching the image of the equine Sirens in the book Twilight showed her friends before she made the jump from Ponyville to Canterlot High.

The Rainbooms stare wide-eyed at this new turn of events, and the three specters rocket out toward the hilltop. They circle the Rainbooms, looking for an opportunity to strike and forcing all but Pinkie into a tight defensive circle. Vinyl Scratch adjusts a setting on the turntables built into her car's dashboard, Pinkie cranks off a high-speed drum riff, and the speakers throw out a sound wave that scatters the Sirens' avatars.

Rarity's fingers race over her keys, sending a blast of lozenge-shaped jewels to disrupt the attackers and Fluttershy adds to the offensive with a tambourine shake that unleashes a torrent of butterflies.

Twilight then vocalizes even harder as the entire vicinity shakes in response to her amplified voice, and a rush of white six-pointed stars pours forth. A furious Adagio, then lets go with an even higher note and a wave of red magic that overwhelms Twilight all too quickly. She is slowly pushed back by the counterattack , one platform sole grinding into the dirt, but (Y/N) helps get herself stabilized and they both send up a glare of the clearest, purest anger.

All three Dazzlings join forces and voices now, uncorking a full-volume vocal battering through their avatars that pushes the Rainbooms off their feet. The microphone goes flying out of Twilight's hand in slow motion, brushing against one of Pinkie's cymbals as it tumbles past. . .

. . .and arcs gracelessly through the empty space. Normal motion resumes as the microphone stops at Sunset's foot. She picks it up, and regards the device before huddling herself slightly over it. As the Dazzlings advance slightly from the stage, mouths set in truly frightening grins of impending triumph, Twilight and (Y/N) then realized something as they both nod and look over in Sunset's direction.

Twilight Sparkle: Sunset Shimmer, we need you!

Sunset's face broadcasts the titanic struggle that rages through her mind at this request. (Y/N) sees her struggling with this decision as he decides to get up and walk on over to Sunset before placing a hand on her shoulder with a smile as Sunset opens her eyes and looks up at (Y/N).

(Y/N): Remember what I said? I'm going to keep helping and be there for you. You may not see yourself as someone who has the right to contribute their help to us. . . but we do! I do! Sunset. . . show them the REAL Sunset Shimmer here now!

Sunset closes her eyes once more until it ends with her brows drawing down over her blue-green eyes in steely determination as she listened to everything that (Y/N) just told her. She looks up at (Y/N) as she nods which made (Y/N) nod back as the two walk back to the others still crumpled on the hilltop. Sunset then throws off her jacket as her upper-body garment is now fully exposed as a sleeveless top. As the wind blows through her hair, Vinyl works her turntable controls and starts a record spinning, bringing the front-end equalizer panel back to life. (Y/N) then starts another beat using his guitar as Sunset starts singing after him.

Sunset Shimmer: ♪ You're never gonna bring me down ♪

♪ You're never gonna break this part of me ♪

She then helps Twilight to her feet.

♪ My friends are here to bring me 'round ♪

♪ Not singing just for popularity ♪

Sunset and Twilight each get a hand on the microphone, holding it between them as (Y/N) steps between them as well so that they can all sing into the microphone together.

Sunset Shimmer, (Y/N), & Twilight Sparkle: ♪ We're here to let you know ♪

♪ That we won't let it go ♪

Pinkie sits upright at her kit as the others stand up, and all start to play.

The Rainbooms: ♪ Our music is a bomb and it's about to blow ♪

The specters rush toward the band to try and attack them once more.

Sunset Shimmer, (Y/N), & Twilight Sparkle: ♪ And you can try to fight ♪

♪ But we have got the light of ♪

The Rainbooms: ♪ Friendship on our side! ♪

A ball of white light appears behind the two singers and grows in intensity, with a secondary focus in the free hands that they lift over their heads and touch together. A pastel-rainbow shock wave tears outward from the group, hurling the spectral Sirens away and nailing the real ones dead on. Its passage shakes the students out of their daze and rattles Adagio so badly that the infernal red glow fades from her eyes.

♪ We're here to blow this thing apart ♪

♪ And together, we will never ♪

♪ Be afraid of the dark ♪

Now Sunset finds herself slowly floating free of the ground as yellow light and sparkles blaze around every inch of her form. Two pony ears emerge from within her hair, and the locks reaching down her back have elongated into a tail secured by a studded band that matches her bracelets. The energy surrounding her surges out in a wave of red and yellow sunbursts to fully reveal the transformed Sunset with sparkles on her clothing and boots, and a large sunburst on her skirt. Her face displays a smirk, but it is one of confidence rather than malice.

(Y/N) and the others see this new form of Sunset's as the male couldn't help but feel so proud of Sunset that the magic of friendship is now within her as well.

♪ Survives, survives! ♪

The other seven rise up behind Sunset, each wreathed in a glow of her own. A new rainbow flashes upward from them and into the sky, but this one has eight colors rather than seven once a vivid scarlet streak rises in the middle due to Sunset's involvement. The beam pours into a bank of gray clouds swirling overhead, which disintegrate to reveal a gigantic, white-glowing sphere unfurling a pair of translucent blue-white wings.

♪ Be afraid of the dark ♪

Students all over the place start to get down on it. 

The Rainbooms & Students: ♪ Here to sing our song out loud ♪

♪ Get you dancing with the crowd ♪

The Dazzlings glower down at them and the red light gone from all three pairs of eyes, then glance upward with real fear. What the band has unleashed is a colossal alicorn whose body seems to glitter with stardust from one end to the other. Its streaming mane and tail display all the colors of the rainbow that formed it, and its eyes and the tip of its horn burn purest white. This apparition stands at least three times as tall and broad as those conjured by the Dazzlings.

♪ Survives, survives, survives! ♪

Here comes the pitch as a wide beam that angles downward to strike both high and low. The ghostly Sirens then crack and shatter into fragments as an explosion happened towards the real Dazzlings as well. 

From the hilltop, the Rainbooms all saw that the Dazzlings were no longer singing and that it didn't look like anymore of the students down in the audience were under their spell anymore. Seeing this, the Rainbooms cheered as their musical spell worked and that all of Canterlot High is saved from the Dazzlings.

Twilight Sparkle: We did it. . . The spell is gone!

Rainbow Dash: Ha ha! Are WE awesome or what?

Applejack: Ya know. . . for once I agree with ya there Rainbow Dash! We saved an entire school from bein' mind controlled by a bunch of magical creatures for apple pickin' sake!

Rarity: And we did it in style!

Pinkie Pie: Woo-hoo!

She yells as she jumps out off of her seat and hops up and down to celebrate their victory against the sirens. (Y/N) smiles at all of the Rainbooms being happy together celebrating as they were all talking with each other on how the music in their friendship worked out in the end. He then turns back towards the amphitheatre stage with a smirk that the Dazzlings were defeated. . . or were they?

(Y/N)'s smile slowly fades away when he takes a closer look at the explosion that happened down at the stage. He walks forward over the hill just a little bit before squinting his eyes to get a more clear view from the distance. When he does, he sees that the dust from the explosion that appeared disappeared and once it clears. . . the Dazzlings were nowhere to be seen which made his eyes widen in shock.

(Y/N): Uh, girls. . .?

All of the said seven girls turned to (Y/N) wondering why he wasn't celebrating as Rainbow Dash ran up to him.

Rainbow Dash: Hey, come on (Y/N)! What's with the look like you've seen multiple ghosts? We just fought sirens and won against them! 

(Y/N) stayed silent from that question which confused Rainbow and the other Rainbooms as both Sunset and Twilight walked up to (Y/N) confused on his look as well.

Twilight Sparkle: (Y/N)?

Sunset Shimmer: Is everything okay?

(Y/N): Girls. . . it's not over. . .

Everybody then looked in the direction that (Y/N) was looking at and they too suddenly see the turn of events that just occurred on the stage below the hill from them as even the students who were broken out of the Dazzlings' spell were all letting out murmurs of wonder of what was going on and where the Dazzlings could be. 

Rarity: They're gone?! How?!

(Y/N): They're not gone, Rarity. . .

Suddenly, a bright red light shines all above the Rainbooms as they all freeze in place before slowly looking up to see that the clouds in the sky were still a really dark crimson. 

(Y/N): They're still here. . .

Inside of the clouds, two bright glowing redish-(F/C) could be seen in the sky before the culprit that those eyes belonged too slowly comes out with a huge malicious grin on her face. Adagio apparently was still in her siren form as the wings that were on her back were encased into orange crystals. Not only that, but she gained a brand new attire that had her wearing a dark purple colored top and short skirt adjourned with small red gems and orange shiny scales and her shoulders were covered in two red hexagonal shaped shoulder pads. She even had a pair of orange boots which had orange and red stripes and red armor covers her knees as well. She even had some orange armored wristbands with purple cut gloves. The biggest change however, was that her pendant has changed from red to (F/C).

Aria and Sonata still had their eyes shut as they thought that they just took the hit that the Rainbooms sent to them when they were playing their song, but it took Aria a second for her to open her eyes as she looks around to see that she was still flying and she looked ahead to see Adagio's new attire which surprised her. Aria then looks at Sonata who had her eyes completely shut as she rolls her eyes and elbows her to focus.

Sonata Dusk: Are we dead?

Aria Blaze: No, you dunce. 

Sonata Dusk: Then why is everything so dark? I can't see a thing.

Aria Blaze: Ugh! Open your eyes!

Sonata did so as she looks around to see that she was indeed still intact which confused her before she looks ahead at Adagio with the same surprised look that Aria had. Adagio let's out an evil laugh before she extends her hand towards Aria and Sonata as a greenish mist was sent to them as well which flowed into their pendants. Suddenly the two girls acquired the same amount of gear that Adagio had as they could feel tremendous amounts of power and energy flowing through them.

Adagio Dazzle: I told you girls that we would back in business thanks to this special kind of magic!

Aria Blaze: *smirks* No kidding. Is this really the magic of that (Y/N) guy? Because it's all pretty invigorating to feel it flowing inside of me.

Adagio Dazzle: Indeed. And now. . .

Adagio along with the other two sirens look down below from them to see the Rainbooms on the hilltop looking up at them with shocked expressions from what they just turned into.

Adagio Dazzle: It's time we now finish the job.

The Rainbooms all grow wide-eyed as they see the sirens now looking down at them with really evil smiles that said that they were prepared to finish them off. (Y/N) grew a really angry look as him along with the rest of the Rainbooms backed up a little bit in fear of what the Dazzlings were going to do. Each of them then took a deep breath before letting out a huge red sonic scream wave that hit all of the Rainbooms as every single one of them was knocked back away and sent tumbling across the ground, dropping some of their instruments in the process.

(Y/N) who was laying on the ground raises his head to look up at the sirens with a serious look that said that they're still not going to get away with this even with this new form of Equestrian magic that they've acquired. He could hear Adagio chuckling evilly from all the way above them as he looks to see that his guitar was in front of him and he clenches his teeth in anger as he grabs it before standing back up with a determined look. The Rainbooms recovered as well as they all didn't know how they were going to beat them now that they've evolved their transformations into something new.

Applejack: How in the hay are they able to channel in this much magic into themselves from just us?! 

Pinkie Pie: The better question is, how come they get such cool looking effects from themselves while we're just stuck down here?! 

Rainbow Dash: Pinkie, I would agree. . . but that's the least of our problems right now. 

Rarity: Twilight, can you make out how they have so much power?

Twilight stares above at the newly powered Dazzlings who producing a more red-(F/C) glow from themselves while letting out some giggles of delight. Twilight notices that familiar color before she looks up ahead towards (Y/N) who still stares up at the sirens scowling.

Twilight Sparkle: I think due to (Y/N) being the Element of Heroism in this world. . . his power is greater than all of ours combined. That means that when the sirens absorbed all of our magic, they got (Y/N)'s as well.

Fluttershy: Oh, no. Can we defeat something that powerful?

Twilight bites her hand a bit nervous on how she's going to deal with this situation quickly before (Y/N) steps up while letting out a scoff.

(Y/N): Girls. . . Leave this one to me.

The Rainbooms all looked at (Y/N) who slings his guitar over his back and he walks forward to the edge of the hill.

Sunset Shimmer: (Y/N)? What are you doing?

(Y/N): I'm going to end this catastrophe once and for all, but I'll need you girls help if I'm going to do so! Whatever that you do. . .

He bends down on his knees and gets ready as he takes a deep breath before spreading his wings out.

(Y/N): Get those instruments and don't stop playing!

(Y/N) then instantly flies up into the air causing a small gust of wind to blow towards the Rainbooms and they all shield their eyes from it before looking back up at (Y/N) who was rocketing himself up towards the Dazzlings. Adagio was still busy gloating as she had her crimson red eyes closed and when she opened them again, they popped wide open as (Y/N) arrived at their level and he instantly kicks Adagio who goes sent flying away into the clouds.

The other two sirens decide to go and help their leader as she was able to recover from the physical attack that (Y/N) sent her as she clenches her head before glaring daggers at the culprit who sent the same mean look her way.

Adagio Dazzle: *growls* You. . .

(Y/N): Remember when I said that you three are going to pay for you've done?! Now's the time for me to show you how strong my bond is with my girlfriends!

(Y/N) flies straight towards the Dazzlings once again to try and land another hit on them, but they all scattered in different directions as Adagio smirked at (Y/N).

Adagio Dazzle: You know, I admire you're confidence (Y/N). . .

She then produces an shiny orange glow from her hand which concerned (Y/N) as it instantly told him that whatever was being produced in that hand couldn't be good at all.

Adagio Dazzle: But let's just see how far you can hold onto it!

Adagio then quickly sends an orange beam of light towards (Y/N) who gasped as he didn't know how to defend himself from something like that even with his new Equestrian magic. He puts up his hands in defense to try and see if guarding might reduce any of the damage, but the beam instead hits him dead center at his body causing him to let out a huge scream of pain while being knocked away.

That wasn't all though as Sonata and Aria who were behind (Y/N) produced their siren avatars from before and they both gestured in front of them with smiles on their faces for them to go and attack (Y/N) as they fly straight at him and once they were in range, (Y/N) wasn't prepared to notice both of them from behind as they smacked him in the face with their tails. 

After recovering from the hit, seeing that he's surrounded on all sides, (Y/N) decides to fly away to regain some distance from the sirens until all three of them were in his vision. He knew now that just going up and attacking one of them won't do him any good as then he'll have to start wailing away from them instead. He then looks at his guitar and knows that when he plays it, he can power himself up.

He looked at the sirens once more who all giggled mischievously at (Y/N) not really having too much options.

Aria Blaze: You really ought to think about the odds when going up against us all on your own. Three against one is just telling us that you're reckless enough to even take chances when you were still reckless enough to even fall for sirens like us when you knew about how our spell works.

Adagio Dazzle: Then again (Y/N), we should really thank you for this newfound power that we've been seeking. Here. . .

All three of their siren avatars then lined up in front of them with angry looks towards (Y/N) as they each started charging towards (Y/N) whose eyes widened from this again.

Adagio Dazzle: Let us thank you!!

(Y/N) looks at his guitar with a determined look before he started playing it rhythmically and when he does. . . magic blasts then started shooting out of the headstock part of (Y/N)'s guitar like a machine gun as he was surprised from this before pointing it towards the siren avatars as they all grew surprised looks from this before they were sent back towards their users who growled in anger except for Sonata who was confused.

Sonata Dusk: I thought that we were going to thank him. Should we say thank you?

Both Adagio and Aria glared at Sonata annoyed from her ditzy comment before (Y/N) called out to both of them.

(Y/N): She's right you know. . . Oh and by the way, you're welcome~

The way that (Y/N) said that made it sound like he was taunting them as that's exactly what he was planning to do. Adagio grits her teeth and balls up her fists before sending another beam from her hands towards (Y/N) who dodged it in the nick of time. (Y/N) tried using his guitar to make more magic blasts, but for some reason none produced which confused him. 

However, Aria saw him off guard and took this opportunity to send a green wave of energy towards (Y/N) who was confused on what this was before suddenly, his eyes turned a tint of green and seeing this, Aria raised her hand and (Y/N)'s had raised as well which shocked him before Aria points a fist towards her face with a mischievous look that she's planning something rather bad. She then motions herself to fake punch herself in the face and this causes (Y/N) to actually punch himself in the face many times which made Sonata laugh.

Sonata Dusk: Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself?

Aria then sent a hook punch which (Y/N) sent to himself as he hit himself hard in the face making him yell out in pain before his eyes turned back to their normal color and he grasps his cheek.

(Y/N): Nghh. . . That shouldn't be possible!

Adagio Dazzle: Well, it's not possible for you with your Equestrian magic to fall under our spell, but because of the new magic we siphoned from you and the other Rainbooms, we can still make you submit to us!

(Y/N) grumbled from this in frustration as not only is his magic becoming limited, but he's struggling immensely against the Dazzlings. All three of their siren avatars then started circling around him which made (Y/N) a little nervous on what they were going to do to him now.

Down below on the hill, the Rainbooms were all witnessing what was going on above them and they all had worried looks on how (Y/N) couldn't handle all three of the sirens on his own.

Twilight Sparkle: This is bad. . .

Rainbow Dash: Yeah, it's like looking at the worlds ugliest light show.

Twilight Sparkle: No! I mean that (Y/N) is not going to be able to do anything more if we don't help him! His magic is failing because he doesn't have enough power to fuel him!

Fluttershy: But how are we suppose to help him? We're all the way down here and only three of us can fly up there.

Twilight looks up before looking back down at the microphone that she and Sunset dropped when they were hit by the sirens sonic scream and she remembered what (Y/N) said earlier about them to not stop playing. She suddenly then realizes what he was talking about as she gets a determined look and runs up to pick up the microphone before vocalizing a tone with her voice. 

This causes Twilight to glow a purple aura as she looks up into the air with a confident expression as streams of purple light started to flow out from her and up towards (Y/N). The siren avatars that were surrounding (Y/N) then all fired magic beams towards him as he braces for impact, however the streams of Twilight's magic then got absorbed into (Y/N)'s body as he then gets teleported to another location in order to avoid all of the blasts. All of the beams connected and caused a huge explosion as the Dazzlings thought that they got rid of (Y/N), but suddenly a magic blast hits Adagio in the back in her normal form. She yells out in pain before turning around for her to see (Y/N) glowing a purple aura instead of (F/C) as Twilight's magic got to him just in the nick of time.

Adagio Dazzle: How did you. . .?

(Y/N): Let's just say. . . you're not the only girls who I know that isn't from this world!

Down below, Twilight smiles brightly from this before turning around to the other Rainbooms.

Twilight Sparkle: That's it! Keep playing music! That should give (Y/N) the power that he needs to neutralize the Dazzlings!

Pinkie Pie grins from this as she instantly appeared on top of her drum set while spinning some drum sticks in her hands.

Pinkie Pie: One step ahead of you!

Pinkie then starts banging on the drums to her hearts content and Rainbow Dash smirks from this before she rolls up to grab her guitar again and she starts playing it again as well. One by one, the rest of the Rainbooms grabbed their instruments and started playing another beat that would for sure fuel the magic that (Y/N) needs in order to finish off the sirens.

Back up above, (Y/N) plays his guitar once more as he shoots more magic blasts towards the Dazzlings and they all flew at different angles to evade his ranged attack. (Y/N) then decided that since his girls have now found out the source to helping him, he can take the Dazzzlings head on in this fight.

Aria Blaze: You're Rainblossom girlfriends are a really big nuisance, you know that?

(Y/N): We have a knack of being a nuisance to those who can't get what they want. 

Aria Blaze: Not for long!

(Y/N) and Aria then started butting heads to test one another's strength as both of them sweat in the process that they were in this little stand off. Applejack sees this from down below on the ground as she decides to kick in some more of her own magic first towards (Y/N) as she starts playing her bass guitar a lot more intense than usual. This causes streams of orange magic to be sent towards the air and they got absorbed by (Y/N) who smiles at feeling Applejack's honestly powers flow inside of him.

(Y/N): Well, as much as I would say if you weren't so "sireny" this position that were in wouldn't be that bad. . . but to be honest right now. . . I really don't like any of you!

(Y/N) then punches Aria in the stomach area which made her gasp as that hit really hurt her and she was sent going past Adagio like a rocket. She sees Aria fly away before glaring back at (Y/N) who smirks at seeing that he not only was able to land an attack on Aria, but he was also able to get on Adagio's nerves more.

Adagio Dazzle: In that case, the feelings mutual! I'll be sure that when you to treat you extra-cruelly when you're my slave along with your girlfriends as well!

(Y/N): I already told you, Adagio! I'm no one's pawn or slave! I won't be doing any more of your bidding like you've already did to all of my friends in Canterlot High!

Adagio Dazzle: *growls* Traitor. . .

(Y/N): Don't even start to manipulate my words! You were the ones who were trying to get me to become a traitor! 

Adagio Dazzle: And you were the one who thought that falling for us was a good idea despite that you even had girlfriends with you.

(Y/N): That I can't deny, but what I can deny is that I'm ever going to fall for another person like you again or should I say siren?! I'm going to finish this for both my girlfriends and the school as well!

Just then a huge cyan tail was about to come and swing around towards (Y/N), but he didn't need to look to notice this as he just ducks and the attack instead hits Adagio as she get's sent flying back as well. (Y/N) smirks from this before turning back towards Sonata who had a shocked look that she hit one of her own allies.

(Y/N): You're pretty stupid, aren't you?

Sonata felt a little hurt by this as she flinches with a raised eyebrow.

Sonata Dusk: Wh-What? Wh-Why? Why would you think-

A magic blast then gets sent to her face which made her get sent flying away as well as she grips her head in pain.

(Y/N): Think before you talk, siren.

All three Dazzlings then regrouped along with their avatars above them as they can clearly see that the Rainbooms fueling him with magic has made him more powerful than he already has before.

Aria Blaze: So what's the plan now, Adagio?

Adagio Dazzle: Isn't it obvious? We turn things up a notch.

(Y/N) then decides to charge straight towards the Dazzlings once more to try and send another attack as he pulls out his guitar and starts playing it. As he does, the Dazzlings took a deep breath before they all send a huge sonic screech wail towards (Y/N) and as the waves of sound hit him, his eyes widen before he instantly clutches both of his ears together while screaming in pain on how bad that screech was hurting his ears.

This also causes him to stop flying as he was now rocketing towards the ground clutching his ears. Rainbow Dash sees this with a shocked look before she runs up and starts to strike chords on her guitar as fast as she could while still sticking with the beat. Doing so caused streams of light blue magic energy to be sent towards (Y/N) who absorbs these as well. 

Once he feels the magic flowing inside of him, he looks down at Rainbow Dash with a thumbs up before he glows the same color and he flies straight back upwards towards the Dazzlings as fast as a laser as he flew right past them which made them look the direction he flew off before they didn't see him coming from another direction as he hits all three of them at the same time while coming from all directions around them.

(Y/N): Sorry ladies, if you want to stop me, you'll have to catch me first!

Adagio Dazzle: *growls* Oh, really?

Adagio then screams a huge shriek that sends another sonic wave towards (Y/N) who was now getting slowed down a lot due to the scream hurting his ears. He tried to endure this by speeding himself up, but the magic that Rainbow Dash gave him was draining as Pinkie Pie sees this before she beats her drums as hard as she can. 

Streams of pink magic that got sent into (Y/N) made him glow a bright pink aura all around him and this causes a burst of pink sound waves to blow out of (Y/N) as this cancels out the scream that Adagio blew out of her mouth. Adagio clutches her head in pain from the magic blast before looking down at the Rainbooms in anger from them helping (Y/N) out so much.

Aria felt the exact same way as did Sonata as all three of them decided to charge magic beams of different colors and sent them all towards the Rainbooms who gasp at this. Rarity sees and she gets an idea before waving up at (Y/N) to get his attention which worked before she quickly plays a huge amount of notes on her keytar which (Y/N) now gets what Rarity wants as he flies down in the way of where the Dazzlings are targeting.

(Y/N) then absorbed some white magic energy and when the Dazzlings blasted the magic beams, an enormous diamond shield surrounded (Y/N) as the beams all deflected in different directions in the air. (Y/N) smiles down at Rarity at her quick thinking as she sends a wink at him in return. The Dazzlings weren't about to give up on taking (Y/N) out with the Rainbooms yet as Sonata thought of something before her siren avatar quickly uses it's tail to grab (Y/N) and it wraps it all around him as well making him unable to move with both his arms and his legs. (Y/N)'s guitar fell out of his hands in the process and this made him gasp. Adagio smiles at Sonata for her quick thinking.

Adagio Dazzle: Hmph. Not a bad strategy, Sonata.

Sonata Dusk: For realsies? 

Adagio Dazzle: We haven't finished them yet, but you get some credit on making him lose his little toy.

Sonata smiles that she got some praise from Adagio while Aria sighs with a neutral expression as her opinion of how Sonata thinks remained indifferent. Fluttershy sees (Y/N)'s guitar falling and she shakes her tambourine while twirling around as not only did a flurry of pink butterflies form, but a yellow stream of energy came out of her as well. 

The butterflies then made a little fluffy cushion platform for (Y/N)'s guitar to land on and they all hovered back up into the air with it. The Dazzlings see this with shock as Aria tries to stop them by sending a sonic scream in their way to drop the guitar again. (Y/N)'s eyes widen from this before Fluttershy's magic made its way to be absorbed into (Y/N). He feels this before making a bunch of (F/C) butterflies form himself as they all quickly flew down fast and caught (Y/N)'s guitar in a fishing hook shape before they throw it back up towards (Y/N) who struggles, but was able to pull a hand out of Sonata's siren avatar's tail before catching it as he smirks towards the Dazzlings.

Adagio Dazzle: How are they able to counteract everything that we've thrown at you?!

(Y/N): If it wasn't for them, I probably wouldn't last another minute up here! Don't you see?! The magic of friendship can never be truly manipulated! You can try and break us just so you can be adored by people and live a big lie, but you can't see that it's not just the music in us that stronger than you sirens. . .

Suddenly, a rainbow glow appears around (Y/N) as he suddenly was able to break out of Sonata's tail and he charges up a rainbow beam in his guitar as that glowed (F/C) as well.

(Y/N): IT'S OUR TRUE FRIENDSHIP!

Adagio's eyes widen from this as she was shocked to see that (Y/N) was able to counteract everything that they were able to throw at him thanks to the Rainbooms helping him. However, she had one last trick up her sleeve as she gets Aria and Sonata's attention and they both agreed that this should finish him off for good as well. Their entire eyes glowed crimson red before they all took a huge deep breath before using their siren avatar to scream out a gigantic combined magic beam that was sent straight towards (Y/N). 

(Y/N) then finishes charging up the magic inside of his guitar as he aimed the headstock of it towards the huge magic beam that was being sent his way before he strikes a chord on his guitar and a huge rainbow beam shoots out of his guitar and collides with the energy beam that the Dazzlings sent. The beams are now trying to overtake each other as the Dazzlings decided to send more horsepower into it by vocalizing a rhythm that causes their avatars to make their power stronger. The beam then slowly and steadily starts to overtake (Y/N)'s which made him wide eyed as he plays more on his guitar to try and increase it, but it was going almost nowhere. 

Down below, the Rainbooms all noticed this with worried looks as even all of their power isn't enough to help (Y/N) stop the Dazzlings as well. Sunset Shimmer looks up at (Y/N) before she looks at her new Ponied-up form and seeing that (Y/N) was in danger, she knew that she's the only hope in finishing this off.

Sunset Shimmer: ((Y/N), you've helped them and me so much as you've clearly shown that you'll do whatever it takes to defend us and your friends too. . . now it's MY turn to help you too!)

Sunset then walks up to Twilight and grabs the microphone in her hand which makes Twilight look at her surprised before Sunset nods with a serious look and Twilight nods as well. They both then vocalize one last tune into the microphone. . . and suddenly an orange stream of energy gets sent into (Y/N) who could feel this energy in shock as it was different. 

He looks down to see Sunset helping Twilight along with the other Rainbooms as with all of their magic combined, he is now able to display how he shows all of their true power. He smiles and nods slowly down at Sunset before looking back at the Dazzlings with a serious look and when he strikes another chord with the new power given to him from Sunset. . . The beam instantly overtakes the Dazzlings' as they all see this in shock before they all try to shield themselves from the beam. However, it did nothing as the beam overtook them along with their avatars and inside, the pendants that were around their necks, crack and shatter into pieces as the power of those rubies were now broken from being activated by their users.

(Y/N): And that's your last stop to all of this siren-singing, negative-draining insanity!!

On the stage, the Dazzlings have fallen hard amid a few last dissipating wisps of green negative energy and the sky has returned to its normal nocturnal hue. They're siren forms were gone and the remains of their red jewels lie before them, still glowing feebly, but only for a moment.

As the last glimmers of light fade away from the broken baubles, Adagio is first to regard hers with a popeyed stare as she scoops up those shards and hastily gets to her feet. Up come Aria and Sonata as well, all three glaring toward the crowd, and they take a deep breath to sing again, but this time, not a single one of them is in any recognizable key.

The Dazzlings: ♪ We will be adored ♪

♪ Tell us that you want us ♪

The sudden loss of their mesmerizing vocal ability throws a bucketful of sand into their mental machinery and the crowd is not amused.

♪ We won't be ignored ♪

♪ It's time for our reward. . . ♪

The end of their second line is lost under a hearty round of booing, which is in turn followed by a barrage of thrown food items that sends the trio running for the wings off stage. Soon enough, the Rainbooms arrived at the scene, all in their normal forms again as Sunset Shimmer pick one of the rubies up.

Sunset Shimmer: Guess that explains why these were so special to them.

Twilight Sparkle: Without those pendants and the magic you brought here from Equestria, they're just three harmless teenage girls.

???: Guys. . . that was totally awesome!

Hearing that familiar voice, (Y/N) turned around to see that Flash Sentry, his band along with Trixie and her band as well has walked up onto the stage with surprised looks of delight of everything that they saw today including (Y/N)'s battle with the Dazzlings.

Flash Sentry: (Y/N), that was you really fighting those three girls that looked like monsters?! Dude, you seriously showed them who's boss with those kind of guitar skills that you've got!

(Y/N) was surprised to finally hear a compliment again coming from Flash which meant that he was no longer in control of the Dazzlings anymore along with the rest and this made him smile. 

(Y/N): Thanks, but it wasn't really me who was battling them alone. . .

(Y/N) then turned to the girls of the Rainbooms who all smiled at him reuniting with his best friend as well.

(Y/N): If it wasn't for these girls who are currently standing here with me on stage, I probably wouldn't have lasted a single minute battling the Dazzlings. When it comes to solving everything with the magic of friendship, I can count on these girls to help me out. . . her included.

(Y/N) pointed towards none other than Flash Sentry's ex-girlfriend Sunset Shimmer who was surprised at (Y/N) putting her in the spotlight like that and Flash was even surprised as well that Sunset of all people helped them too.

Flash Sentry: Sunset? You helped the Rainbooms too?

Sunset felt a little embarrassed being reunited with her ex-boyfriend like this as she rubs one of her arms while blushing. All she does is look away while nodding that (Y/N) is indeed telling the truth of what happened. Flash was shocked from this before he walked up to Sunset Shimmer and did the very last thing that Sunset was expecting him to do. . .

He gave her a hug which surprised Sunset as she looks at Flash hugging her as well.

Flash Sentry: Thanks. I guess we were all wrong about you when we all thought that you couldn't change. You saved me, our friends, and the entire school. 

Sunset then smiled from this as she returned the hug from Flash which made everyone smile that she's got some gratitude from not just them, but other students as well. 

Sunset Shimmer: It was nothing. . .

(Y/N): (Sunset. . . I believe the entire school will now see you as more than someone who used to be the bully queen of Canterlot High. You really have truly changed everyone's opinion.)

The two then suddenly broke the hug as Trixie decided to say something as well.

Trixie: While the Great and Powerful Trixie will say that her band is better than the Rainbooms when it comes to normal music. . .

Everybody looked at Trixie with deadpanned looks on her boasting until she decided to say something different.

Trixie: You Rainbooms are truly beyond something special among all of us in Canterlot High.

(Y/N): Thanks Trixie. . . I think.

(Y/N) then turned towards Flash with a slightly guilty look as he still remembered the little fight that they had when he was under the control of the Dazzlings.

(Y/N): H-Hey, Flash. . . about what we said to each other in the hall earlier today? Sorry if I took things a little too far even if you were mind-controlled by the Dazzlings. We're still pals. . . right?

Flash just smiled from this as he wraps an arm around (Y/N)'s shoulder.

Flash Sentry: You kidding me? Rainbooms rule! You rule, dude! I don't think that there's a better friend here than you who helped save all of us from those monster girls.

(Y/N) smiles from this as they're both on good terms once more as they both fist bumped and shared a bro hug with each other. The girls all giggled at (Y/N) and Flash's little bromance with each other as Rarity leans over to whisper into Applejack's ear.

Rarity: *whispers* I guarantee that if either of these two were somehow separated from each other, they would find someone to find each other even at extreme measures.

Applejack: *snickers* *whispers* I feel yer darn on that.

Rainbow Dash then turns to Sunset.

Rainbow Dash: You know, Twilight is going back to Equestria soon. The Rainbooms could really use someone to help Fluttershy on backup vocals.

Sunset then glances to one side and discloses a Flying V guitar leaning up against an amp. She quickly slings it up, produces a pick, and uncorks a fast riff.

Sunset Shimmer: I also play guitar.

None of the Rainbooms, or even Flash and Trixie can immediately wrap their heads around this out-of-left-field display of musical prowess. It takes them all a second to get their brains and tongues wired back together.

(Y/N): Okay. . . THAT was way more than just impressive. Rainbow, what do you say?

Rainbow Dash: We'll see.

Twilight grins hugely and Sunset having set the guitar down allows herself a bashful smile, which gives way to complete shock and then a bigger smile as she finds herself at the center of a full-band group hug from all of the (Hu) Mane 7. Spike gets into the act by hugging one of Rarity's ankles. Once the group hug was finished, everybody turned to the crowd as they all heard cheers for them and many people chanting "Rainbooms" as well as they all look out towards them with looks of astonishment.

Sunset Shimmer: I think that we're in the middle of a party.

Rainbow Dash: The middle? We ARE the party! We saved Canterlot High from three magical sirens, of course they think that we're awesome!

Applejack: Seems like none of them want us to leave anytime soon either. In fact, I think that they want to see more of our band.

Rarity: How long until you have to go back to Equestria, Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: Don't worry, I made something in my world that allows the portal to stay open for as long as I want. I can spend a little more time here even right now.

Fluttershy: How about we sing one more song then? I wouldn't mind it. . . A-As long as nobody p-puts a stage light over me again. . .

Pinkie Pie: Aw, don't worry Fluttershy. Since this is our band, we'll be singing together like always! 

Rainbow Dash: Yeah, no more "my" band anymore. For real.

Sunset Shimmer then puts a finger to her chin before her eyes landed on a certain male who was part of the group and she remembers the time that they were on the hill and this gave her an idea.

Sunset Shimmer: You know, I think after all of today, there's one person here who should sing one last song here to us.

Rainbow Dash: Really? Who?

Sunset turns and gestures towards (Y/N) as the other girls look at him as well. It takes him a second before his eyes widen on who Sunset was picking out.

(Y/N): Wait? Me??

Sunset Shimmer: You all should really hear (Y/N) sing. He showed a song that he wrote himself and he sounded really good when I heard it.

Rainbow Dash: Hmm? You know, Sunset's right babe. We don't mind you taking lead vocals this time. You actually deserve it after showing us just how much you love being in our band and with us too?

Pinkie Pie: Yeah! Come on, sweetie! Work those vocal chords!

(Y/N) looks at all of the Rainbooms in shock of them asking for him to sing as the rest nod in agreement. Flash even put a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder telling him that he agrees too. Trixie smirks while crossing her arms as this seemed interesting to her as well. (Y/N) then knew it was unanimous, but nonetheless he smiled at all of their support.

(Y/N): Alright then, I'll sing our last song for today everyone!

Everybody around cheers from this and (Y/N) turns towards Flash's band and Trixie and the Illusions as well.

(Y/N): You know, there's a saying called best for last. How about you all join with us on this last song too? If that's all right with you.

Flash Sentry: *smiles* You kidding? I'm not gonna leave you hanging after an offer like that. Let's do it.

Flash's bandmates Brawly Beats and Ringo smiled from this as well as this got them excited to be playing with the Rainbooms.

Trixie: The Great and Powerful Trixie along with her band partners shall show the entire school just how Great and Powerful of a band we are just as good as the Rainbooms.

(Y/N) just rolls his eyes from that while shaking his head.

(Y/N): I'll take that as a yes.

Twilight Sparkle: Let's let the audience know that we're doing an encore for them.

(Y/N) nods as he steps up and grabs a microphone before speaking in it to amplify his voice out to the crowd.

(Y/N): You all doing alright?

All of Canterlot High cheers from this as this was enough to answer his question.

(Y/N): Great! I'm happy that all of you are safe and sound and we're all glad to be of help! Now I have one question for you all. . . who would like to hear one last song from the Rainbooms with the Hero of Canterlot High as lead singer?!

Crowd: WOOOO!

Huge amounts of cheers came from all sides as this made all of those on the stage smile.

(Y/N): That's awesome to hear! We'll also be featuring two more of the bands here that were going to participate in the formerly known musical showcase! Everybody get ready. . . because I think that it's time that we finish this TOGETHER!!!

The crowd cheers once more from this and all of the Rainbooms, Flash Sentry and his band, along with Trixie and the Illusions got their instruments set up and ready as Twilight walked up towards the microphone with (Y/N). They both smiled at each other before turning back to all of the other musicians as they both nod to signal that they were ready to get this last song started.

(Y/N) strikes a chord on his guitar and after a long second, Pinkie started counting off of the beat by tapping on the drums before everybody on stage went into the full beat of the music and they were really feeling it as they all played their instruments to the best of their abilities and after the instrumental introduction, (Y/N) started singing.

(Y/N): ♪ Can you feel life, movin' through your mind? ♪

♪ Ooh, looks like it came back for more! ♪

All: ♪ Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!  ♪

(Y/N): ♪ Can you feel time slippin' down your spine? ♪

♪ Ooh, you try and try to ignore! ♪

♪ Yeah! ♪

(Y/N) and Twilight then decided to sing along with each as they both leaned into the microphone with their faces right in front of one another while smiling.

(Y/N) & Twilight Sparkle: ♪ But you can hardly swallow ♪

♪ Your fears and pain! ♪

(Y/N) then slides up right next to Pinkie who bobs her head up and down with the music while playing her drums with a huge grin on her face. She pecks (Y/N) on the cheek before he slides up next to Rainbow Dash as they stand back to back giving each other cocky smirks before shredding their guitars like crazy.

(Y/N) then walks up to the edge of the stage.

(Y/N): ♪ It puts you right back where you came! ♪

Everybody then shouted with (Y/N) on the next lyrics that came up along with pointing their fingers into the air.

(Y/N) walks up to Fluttershy plays her tambourine with a smile as she twirls around (Y/N) shaking it above his head as well as if acting like the tambourine was an angel halo like his Cutie Mark.

♪ Yeah! Now you're face down on the floor! ♪

(Y/N) then walks past Sunset who he tips a wink to as she winks back at him while playing the guitar she picked up as well.

♪ Yeah! ♪

(Y/N) & Twilight Sparkle: ♪ But you can't save your sorrow ♪

(Y/N) then walks right in between Applejack and Rarity as the two were getting their groove on as well bobbing their heads up and down to the music while playing as they both gave (Y/N) sweet smiles.

♪ You've paid in trade! ♪

(Y/N) then walks past Trixie's band as all she does along with her bandmates is smirk at (Y/N) while playing along with the song.

The Rainbooms then all felt a surge of Equestrian magic flow through all of them including Sunset as they all nod before turning to the crowd with fierce looks that said that they were going to unleash their true magic to them one more time.

All of the Rainbooms rose up minus Pinkie who was still on the ground playing her drums like a pro as they all Ponied-up again glowing their respective colors. The other bands saw this with a smile as they all decided to let out all of their energy on their instruments as well.

All: ♪ Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! ♪

(Y/N) then looks up at the night sky before his eyes widen to see a figure that looked somewhat familiar to him. He takes a closer and all of the light in the sky formed to show the figure of a ghostly tall woman who turned herself towards (Y/N) and winked down at him which made (Y/N)'s eyes widen as thinks that he may knew who that was. He smiles brightly before looking back at the crowd and he continues singing along with Twilight who backs him up.

(Y/N) & Twilight Sparkle: ♪ There's a face searching far, so far and wide ♪

Outside of the stage, the Dazzlings could be seen walking away far from the amphitheatre with Adagio looked really angry, Aria just looked annoyed, while Sonata was depressed. Adagio and the other two then heard the music that was coming from the amphitheatre as they turned back to see the light show that was going on.

Adagio just scoffed in disgust from this as she just turned and stomped away in anger from looking at that performance. Sonata seemed to be enjoying it as she had a big grin on her face looking like she wanted to stay and see more, but Aria didn't allow it as she pulled Sonata along with her. Back on stage, the performance was still going on like normal as the Rainbooms landed back on the ground and everybody was feeling the groove of the song that (Y/N) was singing.

It was time for them to let out one final boost of their instruments as everybody, even the crowd went all out to sing along with (Y/N)'s song.

Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna who were in the audience were clapping along with the song together as they both could just look at (Y/N) with smiles imagining how his mother would react seeing him in a performance like this.

(Y/N) then slides his knees up to the edge of the front stage as he grins while striking a chord. Rainbow Dash then strikes another chord, Flash then does one right after, and even Trixie as well as after those, Pinkie bangs on her drums for a little before one last guitar chord was struck and Pinkie went all out on her drums as she even defies gravity by lifting herself up into the air feet first while drumming down repeatedly on every last of her set that she can as (Y/N) strikes one long and final note as some smoke came up from one of Trixie's smoke bombs and all of the light makes all of the musicians look like black silhouettes inside of the smoke cloud.

The Next Day. . .

It was finally time for Twilight to head back home to Equestria where she rightfully belongs as the (Hu) Mane 7 all met up with her at the Wondercolt statue at Canterlot High back in their normal attire.

Applejack: Sure wish you could stay longer.

Twilight Sparkle: Me too. But I have responsibilities in Equestria that I have to get back to. Its citizens need me. But now I can go through the portal whenever I need to. This isn't goodbye. It's just goodbye 'til next time.

Unnoticed, the pink goofball turns to the base, pokes at one side to set it rippling and glowing as that says that the portal to Equestria is open and she shoves her whole face through. Pinkie backs out, dazed and with hair disheveled before (Y/N) then steps up towards Twilight while smiling.

(Y/N): Well. . . you think that you can give my pony self the message that I was successful at taking care of you and having you count on me, when needed?

Twilight chuckles from that as she walks up and hugs (Y/N) before pecking him on the lips.

Twilight Sparkle: I'll tell him that you did a really satisfactory job at doing so.

(Y/N): We'll see you real soon, Twi. Take care.

Twilight Sparkle: Thank you, (Y/N).

She then looks down towards her number one assistant.

Twilight Sparkle: Ready, Spike?

Spike: Ready!

He trots forward and through the portal as the others wave to Twilight before she steps in a moment later.

Back at the amphitheatre stage, the original six Rainbooms are warming up on their instruments, while off to one side Vinyl Scratch is readying her turntables and Sunset Shimmer sits writing in her magic journal.

Sunset Shimmer: (Dear Princess Twilight, Missing you already, and I hope you'll be back soon. Things are definitely looking up for me here at Canterlot High. But I know I still have a lot to learn about friendship. Hope you don't mind if I write to you for advice when I need it. Your friend, Sunset Shimmer.)

As she closes the book, (Y/N) approaches her with a smile.

(Y/N): Come on, Sunset. We're going to be starting soon.

Sunset Shimmer: Okay. . . Oh, and (Y/N). . . 

(Y/N): Yeah?

Sunset Shimmer: Thanks for everything. . . Not giving up on me, showing me the magic of friendship. . . Really, thank you.

(Y/N): *smiles* You're welcome, Sunset. Trust me, whatever it takes, I won't stop caring about you or the other girls as you all mean a lot to me.

(Y/N) walks away from Sunset who smiles from this and when he does a thought came into Sunset's mind which made her blush.

Sunset Shimmer: (There's no doubt about it that I love you as well, (Y/N). I just wish that I'll have enough confidence to truly show you this feelings that I've been hiding from you for a while.)

She then breaks out of her little romantic thought as Rainbow Dash calls out to her.

Sunset then runs over with her guitar slung up.

Somewhere in a mysterious looking area, a stylus marking down a signal was making jagged lines on a strip chart. The jagged peaks soon die out, the paper roll stopping as well.

A light violet hand in a long white sleeve then reaches into view to tear the readout away before the scene then shows a bulletin board can be seen, covered with notes and chart readouts. At the center of this jumble is a photograph of Canterlot High, with several strings leading to it and secured dead center with a thumbtack. The latest strip chart is stuck up among the lot, and the camera zooms out to frame a figure in a lab coat eyeing it all intently.

And that girl is. . . Twilight Sparkle?!

Twilight Sparkle?: No doubt about it, Spike. There's definitely something strange going on at that school. . .

The Spike seen behind her just barks in reply to this.
