(Y/N) was just finishing up getting his clothes ready for the slumber party at Pinkie's house for the weekend as he was just putting the last of his essentials inside of his backpack. Luckily for him and the other girls, they're upperclassmen and it's the middle of fall so they don't have to worry about a lot of homework either. As (Y/N) puts the last of his clothes inside of his backpack and zips it up, he looks back up into the air thinking about what a certain Dazzlings leader told him earlier.

Adagio Dazzle: (In (Y/N)'s Mind) There's something magical about you, (Y/N). I can feel it.

(Y/N) however gets that thought out of his mind and lets out a sigh as he knows that right now, it's for the best that he doesn't even think about that. His girlfriends know that they are the enemy and he does too, but what the Dazzlings were offering him could make or break their relationship with them. He has until the end of the weekend to make his decision, but right now, he's sticking with his girlfriends.

(Y/N): This is supposed to be a slumber party at Pinkie's house. A time for all of us to just wind down a little after our encounter with the Dazzlings. I won't let Adagio's temptation get into my mind at a time like this.

(Y/N) says this as he slips on his backpack and made his way out of the door to his house. He uses his door key to lock the front door before grabbing something right beside the doorstep to his front porch that he left out. It was a (F/C) skateboard as while it had (Y/N)'s color on the top, the opposite side had a rainbow lightning bolt on it which implied that Rainbow Dash had given this to (Y/N). He smiles at the lightning bolt before he places it on the ground, hops onto it, and he speeds off to head towards Pinkie's house.

It didn't take (Y/N), but a few minutes to arrive a Pinkie's house via skateboard and as soon as he arrives, he hops off of his skateboard before walking up to Pinkie's front door and knocked on it casually. After just a moment of waiting, the door opened and out came a girl with sapphire bluish gray skin and brilliant turquoise eyes that had grayish blue violet eye shadow covering them, her hair was grayish violet and was completely straight, and she was wearing a garment secured by a black belt around her waist. Seeing that her expression was completely emotionless though, this was indeed Pinkie Pie's big sister, Maud Pie.

(Y/N): *smiles* Hello Maud. Nice to see you again. I'm sure Pinkie already told you that I was on my way over here to spend the night with here with her and the other girls.

Maud Pie: Yes. She told me that were coming. Pinkie and her friends are in her room hanging out with each other. They're still just waiting for you to arrive.

(Y/N): Great. And your parents are sure that it's okay for Pinkie to have a slumber party during this weekend.

Maud Pie: Yes. Our parents are out of town as well, along with our other two sisters. They said that they would be extremely busy, so they wanted two extra pair of hands to help them out while I stay home here with Pinkie. It's also that I'm the eldest sister that they put me in charge.

(Y/N): That's fair. Alright then, is it okay if I come in?

Maud says nothing and simply steps to the side and gestures to welcome (Y/N) inside. He smiles as he walks inside, but just as he was about to head over to see how the girls were doing, Maud called out to him one more time.

Maud Pie: There's one more thing that I want to tell you, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Oh? What's that?

Maud simply blinks before speaking.

Maud Pie: I know that you've been Pinkie's boyfriend for awhile now and all of us including myself trust you enough that you take care of her along with your other girlfriends. Even so, I want to make it clear that just because our parents are away, don't think of doing anything that'll make us regret letting you stay over.

Maud says this with a deadpanned voice before slowly narrowing her eyes at (Y/N) whose eyes widen at this before he darts them back and forth before getting a nervous smile.

(Y/N): I-It's okay, Maud. You know that I wouldn't dream of doing anything. . . "irrational" while staying here. I never planned on it and the only thing that I have planned to just have simple fun and quality time with Pinkie Pie and the others.

Maud Pie: I believe you. Go have fun. I shouldn't keep you here any longer anyways.

(Y/N): Why? Because they're getting impatient?

Maud Pie: No. . . because you're stepping on Boulder's favorite spot.

(Y/N)'s eyes widen from this before he looks down and walks backwards before he sees a tiny little crack in the ground with a small pebble in it. Maud walks over to pick up the pebble as this was her pet rock, Boulder that she was referring to.

(Y/N): Whoops! Sorry!

Maud Pie: It's fine. Boulder was finished with his nap anyway.

Maud says this as she walks away with Boulder in her hands and (Y/N) just scratches his head on how different Maud is from Pinkie, but he shrugs his shoulders as he already knows that Pinkie's family is known to be quite eccentric in all places. He then turns to leave Maud to her own business and join the girls in their little slumber party.

He walks up right towards a door to where he heard a little bit of noise and he knocks on the door.

Pinkie Pie: Who is it?

(Y/N): It's the pizza man. Who else do you think it is?

Pinkie could be heard giggling from the other side before she instantly runs up and opens the door before looking up at (Y/N) with a bright smile. She then decides to play along with (Y/N)'s little charade.

Pinkie Pie: (Y/N)? Where's the pizza guy? He said that he was here, but I thought that he was suppose to be arriving here a little later. . . Unless, you've got the pizza for us!

(Y/N): Yeah! You're "pizza" is right here!

(Y/N) strikes a little pose which makes both him and Pinkie laugh before (Y/N) pecks Pinkie on the lips.

Pinkie Pie: Even though you don't have pizza on you right now, (Y/N). I actually did order some for all of us to enjoy later.

(Y/N): Hehe. Pinkie, you're so considerate.

(Y/N) says this as he pats Pinkie on the head which she liked.

Pinkie Pie: Now come on in! You're the only one who needs some fun inside of them now!

(Y/N) then follows Pinkie through the door to her room and once he did, he was greeted by the rest of the girls who were all wearing different pajamas.

All of the girls look at the door to see (Y/N) arrive which makes them all smile brightly to see that he came.

Rainbow Dash: There he is! This party's wouldn't have been the same if our man didn't show up!

(Y/N): Well. . . miss me~?

Rainbow Dash rolls her eyes from that before walking up and giving (Y/N) a playful elbow.

Sunset Shimmer: Really glad that you were able to make it here, (Y/N).

Twilight Sparkle: Same here. Like Rainbow Dash said, I don't think that it would the same without you.

(Y/N): Thanks, girls. I'll be right back though. I need to change into my own pajamas.

(Y/N) then walks out of the room before going to the bathroom to change for a brief moment. The moment that (Y/N) came back, he reappeared wearing a (C/C) short sleeved shirt and some pajama pants that were (F/C).

(Y/N): Alright, I'm back.

(Y/N) says this as the girls turned to him, but the moment that they all do, all of their eyes widen and they blush slightly as well. (Y/N) confused on why they were staring at him before he realizes what as apparently the short sleeves on his shirt showed that he indeed have some muscly arms. He rolls his eyes with an exasperated sigh before smirking back at the girls, crossing his arms.

(Y/N): You girls are acting like this is the first time you've seen me in my PJs. You don't have to look at me like I'm a rare piece of candy.

Hearing him say this made the girls quickly get rid of their blushes as they instantly turned their eyes away from (Y/N).

Rainbow Dash: *chuckles nervously* S-Sorry about that, babe. Guess we're. . . still getting used to it.

(Y/N): It's fine. I wasn't that uncomfortable about it. Anyways, now we can officially get this slumber party started.

Later in the evening, the group had finally settled down for the evening as Twilight sits on the bed with (Y/N) who was helping her write in Fluttershy's notebook, Applejack and Rainbow Dash were playing video games, Fluttershy was petting Spike, Pinkie was typing on her laptop, and Rarity was checking her cell phone while Sunset watches.

Pinkie Pie: Status update: "Okie-dokie-lokie."

As Fluttershy and Sunset gather in close around Rarity, she taps her phone and aims its screen toward the three of them. A flash, and she has snapped their picture of herself, Fluttershy, and Sunset sporting a broad grin, and Spike half-winking and holding up a dog biscuit in the background.

As soon as she looks at the selfie, Rarity grimaces mightily upon taking a good close look, then aims an icy glare in the canine's direction as the other two snicker silently at Spike's photobomb. Spike just smirks as best he can around the half-chewed biscuit in his teeth.

Meanwhile, the video game showdown continues as Applejack appears to be having the upper hand. Rainbow's frustration builds to the point that she smacks the console, instantly breaking the connection and clearing the screen.

Applejack: Hey! I was about to beat you!

Rainbow Dash: I doubt it.

(Y/N) just aims a deadpanned glare at Rainbow Dash's unfair competitiveness.

(Y/N): Sore loser much, Dashie?

Applejack gives a smug smirk at Rainbow Dash who glares at (Y/N) calling her out.

Rainbow Dash: Whatever, I still would've won.

Applejack: Oh, don't even start. I had the advantage and ya know it!

Rainbow Dash: Whatever. So, Twilight, how is that counter-spell comin'?

Twilight Sparkle: Huh? Oh, uh, good. Great.

(Y/N): I've actually been helping her a little bit and. . .

(Y/N) looks at the notebook with a slight grimace that said that this is going to take longer than expected.

(Y/N): Let's just say it's a work in progress.

Twilight Sparkle: By the way, thanks for letting me use your notebook, Fluttershy. I really like the song you wrote for the Rainbooms.

Fluttershy: Thanks.

However, she then sighs with a glum look as she cuddles Pinkie's alligator plushie that she named Gummy.

Fluttershy: Hopefully one day, we'll get a chance to play it.

A bray of laughter was heard from Rainbow as she has snatched away Applejack's controller and holding it out of her reach. (Y/N) rolls his eyes from this before catching Rainbow off guard by grabbing the controller from her hand and tossing it back to Applejack.

Applejack: Thanks, hun.

Rainbow Dash: Grr. Killjoy.

She says as she crossed her arms and looked in the other direction.

(Y/N): *smirks* Cheater cheater pumpkin eater.

Applejack couldn't help but giggle from that while Rainbow Dash just scoffed at his remark. Rarity then hops up to sit next to Twilight.

Rarity: Twilight, I think I speak for all of us when I say I don't know what we would have done if you hadn't come back to help us.

Everyone else agrees to this, but (Y/N) decides to respond differently.

(Y/N): Guys, remember. Twilight is here to help us yes, but she's not in this alone. We're all going to contribute our part when helping her counter the spell the Dazzlings put onto the whole school.

Sunset Shimmer: Even me?

(Y/N): That's right, Sunset. Even you.

Sunset Shimmer: But. . . I'm not the band. How am I suppose to help?

(Y/N): You may not be in the band, but even I'm sure even your slightest cheer will help us out when we all play together. This is all just my own hunch, but maybe even a moral boost can fuel the magic that we need.

Twilight Sparkle: Hm. It's not a bad idea. You think that you'll be able to help cheer us on, Sunset Shimmer?

Sunset Shimmer: I'll do my best.

Spike: Don't forget me. I'm a huge part of this group as well.

Twilight Sparkle: *nods* Yes you are, Spike. We'll count on you as well.

(Y/N): I'm sure one person by our side along with a talking dog with be more than enough for us to help make the band look like it's a force to be reckoned with.

The sound of the doorbell gets Pinkie on her feet in a tick.

Pinkie Pie: Pizza's here!

(Y/N): *smirks* Which "pizza" exactly?

Pinkie giggles from that as she got up and gave (Y/N) a quick peck on the cheek before zooming away along with the rest of the girls while (Y/N) and Twilight stayed behind. Twilight then glumly looks down at the notebook which (Y/N) notices as he sees and knows exactly why as the progress that they just explained a minute ago was nowhere near finished or even started in the first place. The page that they both drew in was covered with musical notes and staves, some scratched out, a few other random scribbles and a doodle of herself singing lightning bolts toward Adagio. (Y/N) reassures Twilight by placing a hand on her shoulder.

(Y/N): Don't worry, Twi. We're going to figure this out. You can depend on me to help, alright?

Twilight nods from that before (Y/N) stands up and get ready to join his girlfriends for some pizza, but Twilight gets an uneasy look on her face as she remembers what Sunset told her yesterday about (Y/N)'s interactions for when they encountered the Dazzlings for the first time.

Twilight Sparkle: Hey. . . (Y/N)?

(Y/N) turns back to Twilight.

(Y/N): Yeah?

Twilight Sparkle: Actually. . . Never mind. It's nothing.

(Y/N) raises an eyebrow from that confused before wanting to actually what was bugging Twilight all of a sudden.

(Y/N): Twilight, come on. You can tell me anything. As the other version of your boyfriend, I'm sure that whatever that you have to say won't make me react in such a dramatic manner.

Twilight looks at (Y/N) before she sighs heavily and lowers the book on her legs.

Twilight Sparkle: Okay. This. . . This is just a hypothetical question, but. . . let's say that there were some other. . . girls that you all of a sudden saw and the both of you take an interest into each other when you really know that having them in a harem as well is a bad idea especially when you don't tell us. How would you handle that?

(Y/N) was confused on why Twilight was asking that.

(Y/N): That's oddly specific, but. . . A good question. I mean to be honest, I would know the difference between right or wrong when I see it and trying to replace someone in my harem with another girl is just the definition of wrong. I mean having you girls in a harem was something that I earned, not something that I just blatantly took. Even so, I wouldn't cheat as I probably wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I even did that. That would going as low as to say that I didn't like having you girls as my girlfriends at all and that's one hundred percent not true as I love all of you.

This actually made Twilight feel a little better as she smiles a little before walking up towards (Y/N) to hug him which he returns.

Twilight Sparkle: Thanks. That's all that I need to know. You would never give us up over anyone else and I know that as well.

(Y/N) smiles, but his determination quickly fades as Twilight doesn't notice him looking in another direction with a slight guilty look on his face. A clatter of running footsteps is then heard as Pinkie leans back into the room with a slice of pizza clamped between her teeth.

Pinkie Pie: Don't you guys want any pizza?

(Y/N): *nods* We'll be right there.

Once Pinkie has dashed back into the hall, (Y/N) and Twilight let go of each other and look down at each other with a smile.

(Y/N): Well, it will be rude for the two of us to keep them waiting as they may get the wrong idea. Come on, I'm actually getting kind of hungry as well.

(Y/N) says this as he pecks Twilight on the forehead which made her smile with a small blush before (Y/N) leaves the room with Twilight just by herself. Twilight then takes another dispirited glance at the pages that she and (Y/N) wrote in, and she opens a nightstand drawer to put the notebook away. It was filled with a partially eaten donut, jellybeans, and more candy that was of course from Pinkie Pie.

Everybody was now in the dining room eating delicious pizza and they all seemed to be enjoying it in different ways. (Y/N) and Applejack ate their pizza normally, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were eating theirs a little fast making them want some seconds or thirds, Rarity took her time to enjoy her food so that she doesn't make a mess on herself, Twilight at first didn't know where to start eating it as she actually started eating hers from the crust area, and Fluttershy gave a little bit of hers to Spike who enjoyed the pizza as well. As they were eating, Twilight looks at (Y/N) and a thought of something that she remembered when she last visited came into her mind.

Twilight Sparkle: (Y/N), is it okay if I ask you a question?

(Y/N): Sure, fire away.

Twilight Sparkle: What exactly was it like for you when you were younger while you were with. . . You know. . .

Twilight said this with an uneasy look and (Y/N) didn't know what she was talking about at first before his eyes widen in shock as realization hit as he remembered that time when Twilight visited his house, she asked him about one specific person. The rest of the girls get shocked looks as well as they all turned to (Y/N) who looks down with a sad look and this made Twilight feel bad that she brought up a sensitive topic.

Twilight Sparkle: I-I'm sorry! Curiosity struck me! I shouldn't have brought it up. . .

(Y/N) puts a hand up to stop Twilight from talking as he just sighs before looking at Twilight with a serious look.

(Y/N): No. . . You've been with all of us long enough that you actually deserve to know about my mother.

Fluttershy: Are you sure you want to talk about this, (Y/N)? It's. . . was very sad when you first told us when you came to Canterlot High for the first time.

Twilight Sparkle: Wait. . . "Came" to Canterlot High?

Applejack: Ya heard right there, partner. All of us have been to CHS ever since the beginning of our freshmen year. . . However, (Y/N). . . he's a transfer student. He came around the time before the Freshmen Fair started.

(Y/N): Yeah. . . I was lucky that Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were close friends with my mother.

Twilight Sparkle: Really?

(Y/N): Yep. They actually went to school together and graduated too. . . As a matter of fact if I remember correctly, Principal Celestia even told me that when they were young like us in high school, they made a band as well.

This shocked everybody around as they would never expect for the principals to even be that passionate about music.

Rainbow Dash: You know that does kind of explain why Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were really looking forward to the musical showcase. Heh. I'm guessing that they had a strong taste in music along with your mom?

(Y/N): You better believe it. They called their band, the Daybreakers. I think that I still have a picture of them in a band as well.

(Y/N) says this as he pulls out his phone and taps a couple of times on it before showing everybody a picture of what looked to be a younger version of Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, and even (M/N) as well. The three looked to be having a lot of fun with each other as (M/N) had a microphone in her hand, Celestia was on the drums, and Luna had a guitar really singing their hearts out.

Rarity: My word (Y/N) darling. Your mother is quite the sight for any kind of eyes who shall lay them upon this much beauty.

Fluttershy: Especially when she was our age too.

(Y/N): *chuckles* That's what Vice Principal Luna told me too. She said that my mother was actually so pretty that her beauty captivated even some of the girls in their high school. It would sometimes embarrass her, but she was careful on who just wanted to hang out with her because of how beautiful she is.

Sunset Shimmer: Huh. Has she ever showed you any of the songs that she's played before?

(Y/N) scrolls through his phone a for a couple of seconds before coming across a music video that the Daybreakers did a long, long time ago that (Y/N)'s mother must've showed him.

(Y/N): Yep. My mother showed me this one when I was a lot younger and let me tell you that it was fun to listen to.

Pinkie Pie: Really?! Show us, show us, show us!

(Y/N): Alright, give me a sec.

(Y/N) puts his phone down on the table and puts the video in fullscreen before pressing play on his phone and inside of the phone, Celestia, Luna, and (M/N) were all walking up onto a stage with their instruments already set for them to play.

(Flashback)

As the three young women walk to their instruments, a crowd of students were cheering for them as (M/N) taps the mic on her phone to test it for any feedback and luckily there wasn't. She turned to Celestia who is already on her drum set and she gives (M/N) a thumbs up that she was ready to play. Luna then nods as she had her guitar ready to play the song as well.

The crowd continues to cheer as (M/N) waves out happily to all of them as some males even whistled as well. Feeling as though their noise should be down a bit, (M/N) motions with both of her hands for the crowd to tone it down a bit, which they do. She then turns back towards Celestia with a determined look.

Young (M/N): Ready, Celestia!

Celestia smiles from this before she taps her drumsticks three times to count off a beat and all three of the Daybreakers started playing.

As soon as the song starts, Luna starts to play a beat on the guitar like a pro and Celestia even beats the drums with another beat that goes along with the song. (M/N) taps her foot and bobs her head down at the starting tempo of the music as even she was really feeling it get to her.

(Y/N): My mother said that this was a song that she wrote herself to always tell others especially me that you can never ever give up your determination no matter how much despair you are in. She told me that if you can still feel emotion, then you can still have even an ounce of that confidence inside of you.

Rainbow Dash: Heh. I like her style! Seems like this is something Fluttershy here should listen to, am I right?

Fluttershy: Umm. . .

Rarity: Shhh. We're all trying to listen here, Rainbow Dash!

Feeling that Celestia has just about arrived at the spot, (M/N) smirks as she begins to sing at the just the right time.

Young (M/N): ♪ There's no time to be naive ♪

(M/N) then winks down at group of males that were looking up at her and they all were shocked from this before getting blushes and smiles on their faces that she actually sought them out like that.

Young (M/N): ♪ As long as I am being real to myself ♪

She then turns her back to the crowd and she looks over her shoulder with a smirk before flexing her arms.

♪ Got to be tough ♪

A couple of girls that were in the crowd flinched from that bold move that she did as that kind of told them that (M/N) was pretty gutsy and had a little bit of sass as well. She then turns back to the crowd before getting more physical as she moves her hips back and forth and slowly moves her finger all around the crowd.

♪ Break out! ♪

Young Celestia & Young Luna: ♪ Hey! ♪

Young (M/N): ♪ I'm wide awake ♪

Young Celestia & Young Luna: ♪ Ho! ♪

Young (M/N): ♪ Not gonna turn back to whom I was before ♪

She does a little bye-bye gesture and holds her hand on her chest after these lines.

(M/N) then leans towards Celestia who felt her emotion as well while singing too.

She then leans over towards Luna who could feel the music as well.

They all fist pump into the air as the crowd of students cheer for their performance which makes all three girls smile brightly that they didn't fail to disappoint their audience. Celestia and Luna then continue to play as (M/N) continues to dance along with the beat of the music as well.

The scene then transitions to what looks to be about over a decade into the future as (M/N) is sporting a brand new look wearing a winter coat with a scarf and some sunglasses too. She was walking along a sidewalk with a serious look on her face as some people looked at her with concern while others thought that she didn't want to be messed with.

A young (Y/N) is then seen who looks to be about 5 years old, sits down on a couch peacefully reading a book.

♪ I'm the only savior ♪

Young (Y/N) then looks up as he sees at the door open to reveal his mother walking inside. As soon as (Y/N) noticed her, he jumps off of the couch and runs up to hug his mother's leg. (M/N)'s mood changed completely upon seeing her child as she smiled before ruffling her son's hair making him laugh.

♪ Oh wait and see, the game has just begun ♪

She then picks him up and lets him ride on her shoulders as the little (Y/N) seemed to be having a lot of fun with his mother.

Different scenes are then shown of (M/N) spending some time with her son including a time where they played together in the rain, one scene of the young (Y/N) helping his mother buy some groceries, and even a time where Young (Y/N) showed his mother a little picture that he made with some crayons.

Later on in their life when (Y/N) was a preteen, (M/N) had gotten a little more strict on him as she was teaching him some martial arts and fighting techniques.

She quicks throws a jab straight at Young (Y/N) who dodges just in time for it to miss his face.

He then quickly drops to the ground, hitting the deck to avoid a kick that (M/N) sent towards him.

Young (M/N): ♪ I don't wanna say ♪

(M/N) was a little peeved from this as her son was being a little bit of a coward.

Young Celestia & Young Luna: ♪ There's no chance ♪

Young (Y/N) quickly crawled away before standing back up, but that didn't stop (M/N) from still trying to attack him as she kicked him in the face sending him towards a wall.

Young (M/N): ♪ Let's get started count ♪

Young (Y/N) slides down the wall while holding his cheek in pain and he nearly ended up in tears as well.

However, (M/N) just walks up and kneels down to her child to gently place a hand under his chin and the other one on his shoulder to make him look up at her as all she can do is give him a sympathetic smile that said that she believes that he can do a lot better if he tries.

Young (M/N): ♪ You could never find the word "surrender" in my book ♪

This gives (Y/N) the determination that he needs to continue as he stands back up looking at his mother with a fierce look that said that he wants to continue training.

One scene is shown of the new determined (Y/N) sitting down at a desk trying to solve some work that he had to get done as some of the books beside clearly showed that he was studying hard.

(Y/N) is then seen training some more with his mother as she was watching him with crossed arms and a serious look as he was doing sit ups on the floor. (Y/N) sits up and stops and sheepishly smiles at his mother to see if they were finished, but she glares at him while circling motioning her finger at him to continue which gave him a solemn look as he continued doing his routine.

Inside of the kitchen, (Y/N) was about to get something before he notices his mother a distance away from him and she threw a small pencil at him. (Y/N) panicked from this, but he reacted quite fast as he instantly catches the pencil. He was surprised by this before he looks at his mother who smirks at him while nodding to show him that he's improving.

(Y/N) smiles from this new development as his confidence levels have risen even higher now.

Sunset Shimmer: I see. That explains why you're so good at holding your own against most likely anybody even when I. . . you know.

(Y/N): You don't have to bring it up if you don't want to. . . but soon enough as things got more intense. . . I was eventually near her level.

Young (M/N): ♪ Got to be tough ♪

(Y/N) and (M/N) are then seen sparring in a mock fight once more as the both of them traded high kicks to each others foot.

(M/N) throws a punch towards this older (Y/N) who this time ducks before counterattacking with a punch in the stomach sending his mother back just a little as she just smirks from her son's new strength.

Young (M/N): ♪ I'm wide awake ♪

She runs up straight towards him and tries to land attack on him once more as the two of them kept trading more hits with fast reflexes.

Young (M/N): ♪ Not gonna turn back to whom I was before ♪

Young (M/N): ♪ Won't escape ♪

Soon enough, (Y/N) found an opening as he grabs (M/N)'s arm which shocked her as she wasn't ready for that move.

(Y/N) then finally lands a punch to her face which knocks her to a couch. (Y/N) was worried from this as he runs to his mother to see if she was okay. He felt kind of sorry that he hit his own mother like that, but (M/N) just smirks as she kicked him back in the face like last time which knocks (Y/N) to the ground.

(Y/N) rubs his head from the attack and as (M/N) walks up to him, (Y/N) looks up at her with a rather unsatisfied expression of her taking advantage of his hesitation like that. (M/N) just laughs from this as he helps (Y/N) off of the ground to stand up back on his feet and she pats him on the shoulder looking down at him with a smile.

(Y/N): That day made me feel like a brand new person. . . well, at least towards my mother. I mean she even took me to an amusement park all just because I landed a single hit on her when I caught her off guard.

Fluttershy: Your mother sounds kind of scary, (Y/N). . .

Pinkie Pie: But also totally cool!

(Y/N): Don't worry everyone. My mother was doing this for a reason. I should tell you Twi that my mother is actually an independent government agent. She's always going around Canterlot just to patrol the place, greet people that she would see from time to time to know that they are safe, and just make sure that no malicious intent tries to take place. Because let me tell you. . . if she catches you, it will NOT end well.

This made the girls shudder from this as that instantly tells them that you never want to get on (M/N)'s bad side.

(Y/N): However, against everybody else, she's a pacifist. That includes me too. The reason she was pushing me to train so hard was because she told me this. . .

The scene then switches to show (M/N) sitting at a table with her son as she was having a little talk with her.

(M/N): (Y/N). . . I know that it may seem like what I do is too much for you to handle, but let me tell you something. I'm not always going to be around to help you even though we both live here in the same household. There may come a time in the future where you can't get my advice at all. You have to do it on your own.

Young (Y/N) didn't say anything and just looked down to the floor unsure of himself. (M/N) sighed from this as she gets up and walks towards her son before kneeling down towards him and she makes him look at her.

(M/N): I know that I kept you her in this house way more longer than I should have. I was your teacher in just about anything when it came to knowledge, training, and even life itself. And I was also like your best friend too considering I always try my best to make time for you despite the tiring job that I have. Just know that whatever is going to happen. . . I'll always love you, okay?

Young (Y/N) smiled from this before he jumps up and wraps his arms around his mother who kisses his forehead and reciprocates the hug as well.

(Y/N): Little did I know. . . I should've taken that warning a bit more seriously than I should have.

Twilight Sparkle: Does that mean. . . what's coming next is. . .

(Y/N): *sighs* It's. . .

Applejack: Hang in there, sugarcube. Just take tiny little baby steps with what ya say. . .

(Y/N): . . .Alright. As you girls know. . . I was so close to my mother that she treated me like I was her friend too.

A picture is then seen of (M/N) feeding Young (Y/N) by surprise as she just laughs at his reaction. Another is shown of them at the said amusement park that (Y/N) described a second ago as they were both riding a rollercoaster and (Y/N) looked like he was having a lot of fun while (M/N) grimaced at how fast they were going. One final picture is shown of them having fun in the snow together as they were making a snowman.

(Y/N): I wished that those memories could last forever. . . and I even wished that I could make even more and better memories with her in the future. However. . . when I was 14. . . I couldn't believe what I saw the very first morning when I woke up. . .

Young (Y/N) was walking through the hall in his pajamas getting up for the day as he rubs his eyes with a smile. However, when he vision clears, he sees something ahead of him that made his smile go away and get a worried look as in the distance, his mother's arm could be laying down on the floor. This scared him as he tiptoes a little bit towards her arm slowly as his heart started racing with dread. As soon as he looks over the wall. . .

He sees (M/N) passed out on the ground as the way she was positioned, she didn't even look like she was asleep. Young (Y/N)'s heart dropped the moment that he saw this as he runs up to his mother with extreme anxiety on how she was feeling. He shakes her to wake her up just in case and no matter how hard that he did it, she didn't even seem to budge.

(Y/N): I was scared, I was speechless, I was just traumatized on what I just saw on the ground. Weirdest part was that she was completely fine the day before that, so I didn't even know why it just abruptly happened like that.

Young (Y/N) was panicking as tears started to form in his eyes that his mother looked to be like a motionless corpse. As he nearly begins to cry, he hears some ringing coming from (M/N)'s pocket as he looks at her face before crawling over to take the phone out of her pocket and he looks to see that it was Principal Celestia calling her.

(Y/N): I knew that I needed to get some help as soon as possible, so conveniently she still had Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna's contacts on her phone. I instantly called them both to explain what just happened right in front of me. When I finished explaining, Celestia told me that she's on her way along with calling an ambulance as well to help my mom. She sounded as worried as I was considering that they were longtime friends.

Young (Y/N) was talking to Principal Celestia on the phone as he explained what was right in front of him and he nods to some instructions that Principal Celestia told him over the phone.

Later, Young (Y/N) is seen in a hospital with a worried look on his face as he was sitting down on a chair outside of his mother's room while it was occupied by some doctors and Principal Celestia was even talking to some of them as well.

(Y/N): I wanted to help in anyway that I can. . . but I was just useless. My mother told me that there was one day where I'd have to do something on my own. . . but what was I suppose to do then? I wasn't even allowed to enter the room to where she was in due to me still being young.

Rarity: Oh my. . . that's just terrible to hear darling. . .

Young (Y/N) hears the door opening to see Principal Celestia walking out with a doctor with a serious look on her face with both hands on her hips. They were having a conversation that the young child couldn't quite hear or understand before he sees Celestia nodding before they both walked up to (Y/N) to tell him the news. (Y/N) looks at Principal Celestia who closes her eyes solemnly with a guilty look before she shakes her head. This meant that bad news was on the way.

(Y/N): The doctors came back to me along with Principal Celestia and. . . well. . .

Twilight Sparkle: She. . . She was gone, wasn't she?

(Y/N): . . .Actually, not quite.

Twilight Sparkle: Huh? What do you mean?

(Y/N): Well. . . the doctors told me that they couldn't diagnose my mother with any kind of condition. Her heart, lungs, pancreas, and every other organ was completely healthy. She was still breathing too, so I didn't know why she wasn't waking up.

Sunset Shimmer: Wait, so what does that exactly mean?

(Y/N): All the doctors could tell me was this. . .

Doctor Spring Bud: Don't worry little one. She isn't dead. . . not yet anyway.

(Y/N): That threw me in a loop. She's not actually dead, but rather in a bit of a coma. A really bad one at that. I don't know when she was waking up, but I had a gut feeling that it wouldn't be anytime soon and boy was I indeed right as she's still in the hospital to this day.

Twilight Sparkle: You're saying that your mother's been in the hospital. . . for years?!

(Y/N): *sighs* I suppose so.

One week later, a car could be seen driving down the road as inside was Principal Celestia driving the vehicle with Young (Y/N) leaning against the window with a depressed look as he's still bummed out about what happened to his mother.

(Y/N): I was definitely not old enough to take care of the house all by myself. Luckily, I had Principal Celestia with me as that day, she was relocating me to another part of Canterlot. This would also be the time to where I actually had to start going to school instead of being homeschooled as neither Celestia or Luna could do that because they run the school themselves.

Principal Celestia looks at the younger (Y/N) with sympathy as she can clearly tell that he still hasn't gotten over the fact that his mom will have to be away from him for a really long time.

Principal Celestia: (Y/N), I know that you've been close to your mother for just about your whole life, but you know some things just cannot stay the same forever. Even so, I'm praying that your mother will be okay as she is someone that I care for as much as you do.

She then places a hand on his shoulder while keeping her eyes on the road.

Principal Celestia: Starting today, I'm going to allow you to stay somewhere that my sister and I invested not too long ago and you're actually going to start coming to the school I work at where there are a lot of people there for you to meet as well.

Young (Y/N): . . .

All the young child could do was turn his head slightly towards Celestia with anxiety as he has had little to no interaction with people before up until now. Celestia notices his expression before chuckling.

Principal Celestia: Don't worry, it may be a big change, but trust me. . . The students are very nice, the campus is quite lovely as well, and you'll probably be doing things that you haven't even thought of doing here before. Try not to mope around too much once we arrive, okay?

Young (Y/N): *sighs* Yeah. . .

Eventually, the two have arrived at their destination in not only Canterlot, but Canterlot High School as Principal Celestia had parked her car over in the parking space that belonged to the principal of the school only. Once she along with Young (Y/N) got out, they both walked across the front lawn of the high school were some high school students are seen. (Y/N) looks and sees all of these students talking to each other as it makes him wonder how they will act around him. A couple of freshmen that looked like Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops then see (Y/N) as they decide to give him a wave. (Y/N) felt a little bit shy from this as he looked away blushing while keeping close to Principal Celestia. Both Lyra and Sweetie Drops giggled from this.

Young Lyra: That guy looks a bit bashful, don't you think?

Young Sweetie Drops (Bon Bon): *giggles* Yeah. You don't think that that's the new student that Principal Celestia was telling the school about a couple of days ago, do you?

Young Lyra: Probably. If he is, I wonder what kind of contribution he'll make to the school.

Young Sweetie Drops (Bon Bon): Me too. He's actually kind of cute.

Both of them nod in agreement from this before continuing their conversation with each other. As both Celestia and (Y/N) enter the school in the main lobby, many students were seen minding their own business around the halls conversing before their site turns towards Principal Celestia and Young (Y/N) who was timidly hiding behind the principal as she smiled at all of the students giving her their undivided attention.

Principal Celestia: Good morning everyone. I hope that all of you are getting prepared for your classes soon so you can start your normal day. However, I would like to introduce to you all to a brand new student that I have brought here today. He has gone through quite a tough time, so I suggest that you be nice to him.

Principal Celestia then turns behind her to look down at the timid (Y/N).

Principal Celestia: Come on, no need to be shy, (Y/N).

(Y/N) looks up at Celestia with a nervous look before he sighs as he reluctantly comes out of hiding from behind her and looks away from the crowd of students with a bashful look before he steels his nerves and looks towards the students to at least introduce himself.

Young (Y/N): H-Hello. . . My name is (Y/N) (L/N). . . N-Nice to meet you all. . .

Principal Celestia smiles from this before addressing all of the students in front of her once more.

Principal Celestia: He is the son of a very close friend of mine. Even so, treat him like you would with the same amount of respect that you give to the other students.

Principal Celestia then guides Young (Y/N) with her as many students around started murmuring with interest about what they think of (Y/N) as while they were discreet, all of the gossip seemed positive about (Y/N). He didn't know what the students were talking about, but he became more nervous due to feeling like he had a target on his back.

As (Y/N) walked away though, he doesn't notice that another young girl his age was watching him from afar. She tilts her head to the side in confusion before that confusion turned into a hopeful smile as she thinks that she wants to meet (Y/N).

Principal Celestia was able to get Young (Y/N) settled in Canterlot High School as he took his first set of classes which was Math with Mr. Cranky Doodle who he found to be quite weird and just downright. . . cranky. There was also English with Miss Cheerilee who was pretty much the opposite as she spoke with respect and knew how to keep things in order. During those classes, (Y/N) didn't really speak that much or even interacted with anybody since he's always had his mother to talk to in his whole life up until now.

When lunch time occurred, (Y/N) headed to the cafeteria like all of the other students and when he opened up the double doors to the lunch room, he was greeted by a typical cafeteria with tables lined up with rows, seats, a lunch line that was run by Granny Smith who gave each of the students their food as the walked through. (Y/N) walked through the line and grabbed his tray like the rest of the students and after he did just that, he looked around at all of the students eating and talking.

He had a feeling that he would make things awkward if he just sat with some random students that he didn't even know, so he instead decided to walk over to a lunch table where no one was sitting and sat down with a dejected look on his face. He looks at his tray and takes an apple slice before eating it still not feeling any better.

Young (Y/N): (I wish my mom was here. . . I've never really had any friends but her around to keep me as much company as possible. . .)

As that thought rolled across his mind, someone walked up to him and spoke in a certain tomboyish voice.

???: Hey! New guy, right?

(Y/N) looked up and turned towards the voice as he then sees that a girl was standing right in front of him wearing a pink shirt that had a cloud and tri-color lightning bolt symbol on it along with some suspenders. She even had rainbow colored hair and was looking down at (Y/N) with a smile.

(Y/N): And that was finally the time that I actually made my first new friends in my life. . . Starting with you, Dashie.

Rainbow Dash: Aw, thanks babe.

Young (Y/N) looks at Young Rainbow Dash for a second before nodding.

Young (Y/N): Yeah. . .?

Young Rainbow Dash: Whatcha doing here by yourself? There's plenty of other tables in this lunch room for you to sit at besides a lonely little table right here.

Young (Y/N): *sighs* Well. . . I didn't feel like starting conversation with people that I don't even know. . . I mean wouldn't you feel kind of awkward if someone just sat at your table uninvited and you don't even know who they are in the first place?

Young Rainbow Dash: Huh. I see your point there.

Young Rainbow Dash then thinks to herself for a second before looking back at (Y/N) with a smile.

Young Rainbow Dash: Well if that's the case, you don't mind if I sat at this next to you, would you? I mean it would feel kind of awkward if I just showed up out of nowhere and took the seat with asking.

She said that in a playful voice which confused Young (Y/N) before he sweatdrops as he thinks he gets the point that she just made. All he had to do was just ask. He sheepishly smiles before nodding silently. Young Rainbow Dash then takes a seat right beside (Y/N) and she decides to be the one to start a new conversation.

Young Rainbow Dash: So new guy, what's your name?

(Y/N): . . .(Y/N).

Young Rainbow Dash: Huh. First I've heard of that one. I'm Rainbow Dash, I'm actually an athlete in almost every sport that we have at this school. Though I'm mostly just like sticking with soccer cause I'm pretty awesome when it comes to competing there.

Young (Y/N) raises an eyebrow from that before he looks away and scoots over away from Young Rainbow Dash just a little which she noticed. She thought it was something that she said before she just scoots closer to him and places a hand on his shoulder.

Young Rainbow Dash: Hey, come on. I don't bite. As a matter of fact, I think I heard Principal Celestia tell us that you were actually going through a pretty hard time lately. Is that true?

Young (Y/N): Um, yeah. . . it is.

Young Rainbow Dash: What's it about?

Young (Y/N) flinched a little from this as this made him even more nervous.

Young (Y/N): That's. . . I-I. . .

Young Rainbow Dash: Hey, don't worry. If you don't wanna talk about it because it's too personal then I won't force you to suck it up.

This surprised Young (Y/N) as he turns back to Young Rainbow Dash with the same surprised look on his face. He's never really met someone who'd stick this close to him and speak to him.

Young (Y/N): You're. . . Why are you so devoted to speak to me? I mean, I haven't really done much, but be a downer.

Young Rainbow Dash just shrugs her shoulders with a smile.

Young Rainbow Dash: So what? I'm not just gonna have someone feel left out on their first day here. I mean come on buddy, did you ever see a rule in that said you can't help out people who are having trouble on their first day?

Young (Y/N) continued to stare at Young Rainbow Dash with astonishment as this is literally the very first person that he just met at this school and it was safe to say that she was indeed a loyal person with how much she's dedicated to keep (Y/N) company.

???: Hey, there ya are, Rainbow Dash.

Both of them turned to the next voice that was heard as it was another girl their age that was wearing a blue and white collared shirt with a light blue skirt while wearing a Stetson hat on her head.

Young Applejack: Didn't see ya over at our usual table and I found ya over here. Whatcha doin'?

Young Rainbow Dash: Hey, AJ. I'm just talking with the new guy that Principal Celestia showed us earlier.

Young Applejack then noticed Young (Y/N) as he looks up at her surprised that these two know each other. Young Rainbow Dash then turns to Young (Y/N) with a smile before pointing her thumb at Young Applejack.

Young Rainbow Dash: (Y/N), this is one of my pals, Applejack.

Young Applejack: Howdy there, partner.

(Y/N) waves back at Young Applejack a little sheepishly.

Young (Y/N): Hi. . . Like Rainbow Dash said, my name is (Y/N).

Young Applejack: Ah see. So how ya likin' Canterlot High so far?

Young (Y/N): It's okay, I guess. I mean it is still my first day here so I think I may have to get used to whatever goes around here.

Young Applejack: Trust me, partner. You'll be for sure to stick with us here at Canterlot High like caramel on an apple.

???: Ooh! Did someone say caramel apples?!

Young (Y/N) turned around and in an instant he found himself face to face with another girl as he flinched and yelped a little in shock. This girl had a pink and white shirt with large pink poofy hair and a huge grin on her face.

Young (Y/N): Wh-Where did you come from?!

Young Pinkie Pie: I came looking for the caramel apples that Applejack just said she had a second ago!

Young Applejack rolls her eyes with a smile while Young Rainbow Dash shakes her head with a smile.

Young Applejack: Pinkie. . . it was a figure of speech.

Young Pinkie Pie: What shape?

Young Applejack: Shape?

Young Pinkie Pie: You said it was a figure of speech, so what shape is the speech anyway?

Young Applejack: Uh. . . Never mind.

Young Rainbow Dash: Why did you even come here so fast, Pinkie?

Young Pinkie Pie: Well, I was just sitting at the table with Rarity and Fluttershy and noticed you two weren't so I thought hmm. . . Something's seems fishy here. And just like that, I see you over here with another guy who I totally knew was the new kid named (Y/N) (L/N). I just had to let my curiosity strike and soon enough I heard the word caramel apples and was all like, "Whooooa!" I just had to get a taste if there was going to be some caramel apples here while meeting the new kid who I know nothing about!

Young (Y/N) sweatdrops from this before turning to both Young Applejack and Young Rainbow Dash who had deadpanned looks on their faces.

Young Rainbow Dash: I think a simple, "I wanted to know what you guys were doing" would've been enough.

Young (Y/N) was confused by all of this before he feels something tug on his footwear so he looks downwards only to see that there was nothing below him. He looks up from the false alarm only to see a tiny little bunny taking one of his apple slices from his lunch tray and eating it.

Young (Y/N): Hey! Wait, why is there even a bunny here? How did it even get in here?

Two light yellow arms then scoop up the bunny as Young (Y/N) then sees yet another girl wearing a white tank top and a pink skirt with a green butterfly on it. She holds the bunny close to her while frowning down at it a little bit.

Young Fluttershy: Oh, Angel. What have I told you about being patient? I was going to feed you some of what I got for lunch soon.

The said bunny, Angel just crosses his arms and turns his head away. Young Fluttershy then looks up at Young (Y/N) and when she made eye contact with him, she instantly blushes and hides her face behind her hair. Young (Y/N) raised an eyebrow from this before Young Applejack speaks up for her.

Young Applejack: Fluttershy, this is the new student that Principal Celestia told us about earlier. Why don't ya introduce yourself?

Young Fluttershy looks at Young (Y/N) for a brief second before speaking softly.

Young Fluttershy: *quietly* H-Hello, my name is Fluttershy. . .

Young (Y/N): Say what?

Young Fluttershy: *quietly* I'm Fluttershy. . .

Young Rainbow Dash: *rolls eyes* Ugh! I'm sure she said her name was Fluttershy, (Y/N). No big deal.

Finally, a girl that had elegantly curled purple hair and was wearing a pale blue dress with darker blue ribbon tie and violet hems on her shoulders walked up to them.

Young Rarity: Is anybody going to even bother telling me why they left me alone over there at the table? I was wanting to showcase a new paint color on my fingernails, but I wasn't sure if it was better to do purple or white. . . it's all a mystery to how such artistic designs can give such inspiration to something completely.

Young Rainbow Dash: Maybe for you. . .

Young Applejack: And wouldn't white fingernails just show you nothin' but yer hand regardless?

Young Rarity: That's the point, darling. To make a new fashion design to which only I am of course capable of.

Young Rarity then sees Young (Y/N) and walks up to him with a smile.

Young Rarity: Oh, my. Are you the new student that appeared with Principal Celestia earlier today?

Young (Y/N): Um, yes?

Young Rainbow Dash: I found our new guy here eating all by myself. Figured I'd give him some company.

Young Rarity gasps from this before she walks over to sit beside Young (Y/N).

Young Rarity: Oh, darling. You simply cannot suggest to yourself to be all alone on your very first day here at our school.

Young Rainbow Dash: Yep. That's what I said.

Young Pinkie Pie then quickly rose up right in front of Young (Y/N) again.

Young Pinkie Pie: Yeah! You need to turn that frown of yours. . .

She then dove down then reappeared hanging upside down in the air which shocked (Y/N) as that made him speechless.

Young Pinkie Pie: Upside-down!

She says this as she uses two of her fingers to make Young (Y/N) give a toothy smile instead of frown before she reappeared again on the normal ground that everyone was standing or sitting on. (Y/N) looked back and forth between the points where Young Pinkie Pie appeared and reappeared with a jaw dropped.

Young (Y/N): She just. . . I don't. . . How did she. . .?

Young Applejack just pats Young (Y/N) on the shoulder while giving an exasperated smile.

Young Applejack: Don't think too deep into it, partner. That's just Pinkie Pie. Trust us, don't question what she does or else y'all get a splittin' headache.

Young (Y/N) looks around at every single girl that was around him as all he was in was just complete confusion.

Young (Y/N): You know. . . I really don't get you girls.

Young Rarity: Whatever do you mean, darling?

Young (Y/N): Why are all being so nice to. . . you know, just me. I mean I really just look like any other student here in this school. . . so why just single me out?!

The Young (Hu) Mane 5 all looked at each other from his little annoyance before Young Fluttershy smiled down at (Y/N) and took a seat across from him.

Young Fluttershy: You looked like you were lonely. . . and you just needed someone to talk to.

Young Applejack: Yeah, what she said, (Y/N). I know you may not seem like that big of a deal to yerself, but us on the other hand, we're always more than happy to make new friends.

Young Rainbow Dash: Heck yeah. I mean if you're still talking to us right now then what's there to still be confused about? I mean I can clearly already tell we're becoming friends.

Young (Y/N) heard that last word with shock as he didn't think that he would hear that word come out of anybody's mouth throughout this entire conversation. However. . . it actually made him smile a little bit.

Young (Y/N): We're friends?

Young Rarity: *nods* Of course, (Y/N). I would be delightful to say that I like you already.

Young Fluttershy: Me too.

Young Applejack: Hope it's not too much for ya. You know. . . since yer pretty much the only guy here around us.

Young (Y/N) looked at Young Applejack for a second before shaking his head as he was completely fine with the whole thing.

Young (Y/N): *smiles* Nope. I don't feel like it's weird at all. I mean, just recently I've really been having it rough so I didn't really feel like I could make any friends on my own. . . but I guess after meeting you girls. . . I suddenly don't feel that way anymore.

Young Pinkie Pie lets out a smile from this before hugging Young (Y/N) from behind.

Young Pinkie Pie: Yay! There's that super duper smile that I was looking for!

She then suddenly grips Young (Y/N)'s collar and pulled him towards her which shocks Young (Y/N).

Young Pinkie Pie: You can't come into the school looking like how you were before?! You got that?! No frowning! You got that! Pinkie Pie's fuel runs on happy faces and that includes yours!

Young (Y/N): Um. . . yeah, I-I think I got that.

Young Rarity then pulls Young Pinkie Pie off of Young (Y/N) glaring at her.

Young Rarity: Pinkie Pie! Please, give him his personal space.

Young Pinkie Pie just squees before making a silly face while sticking her tongue out. Young (Y/N) laughs at her before regaining his smile on his face as for the rest of lunch time, he spent it talking with the new girls that he met during his first day at CHS.

(Y/N): And that's how I remember when I first met everybody here. I learned a very important lesson that day. . . No matter how alone you are, there's always someone out there who's willing to help you get through your problems. I bonded with you girls so long that. . .

Pinkie Pie: We practically hung out almost everyday, we got our picture at the Freshmen Fair, and best of all we were all able to dive into a large bouncy house that was an actual marshmallow that we all ate with lots of tasty bites!

Applejack: Okay, I'm very sure that last one didn't happen.

Pinkie Pie: Oh, come on, Applejack! What do you have against giant marshmallows?

Applejack: Ah don't have nothin' against marshmallows! I'm just sayin' it didn't happen!

Twilight Sparkle: Well, either way. . . you can continue (Y/N).

(Y/N): Throughout my freshmen and early sophomore years at CHS, I got to know a lot more people as I joined a band with Flash Sentry, got myself a part time job at the mall, and best of all. . . I got both my title as Hero of Canterlot High and my harem.

Twilight Sparkle: How did you make it work out?

(Y/N): One day. . . I just couldn't help but tell myself that I was practically in love with all five of you girls, but as much as I did. . . I just couldn't choose one over the other. I could tell you all felt the same way the more that we spent time together and even going on a few dates alone as well. Then. . . there was one day were I finally decided that if I can't choose one, then I might as well choose all of them.

Applejack: (Y/N) called all five of us out that one day and when he did, he basically confessed straight to our faces.

(Y/N): It was embarrassing, but. . . I couldn't hide it in any longer.

Fluttershy: It surprised me. . . I-I wasn't even expecting him to just tell us that when we arrived.

Rarity: Even so, there was no possible way that I wanted to reject dear (Y/N). I mean ever since meeting him, I practically loved him with how much he's done for us in Canterlot High.

(Y/N): Heh heh, thanks Rares. That's the next point that I'm going to get to. The girls all felt the same way and knowing that being all with one guy would seem really weird and possibly the whole school would get wrong ideas if they just saw me with five girlfriends around the school. So I got the idea to tell Principal Celestia this and boy was she confused.

We now see the (Hu) Mane 6 in Principal Celestia's office as (Y/N) explained to her just how much he loved these girls and that he couldn't choose one of them, so he wanted to get her permission if he was able to date all of them at once.

Principal Celestia: So let me get this straight (Y/N), these girls who you have met ever since I've brought you here the very first day you arrived are the exact ones that you wish you be in a relationship with and you couldn't decide on one girl to be with, so you came to me to know if you could be with all of them?

Young (Y/N): Yes! Please, Celestia! I love all five of them very much!

Principal Celestia: *sighs* (Y/N), you do know as a student who is still growing up, that is not appropriate.

Young (Y/N): But Celestia, I've done so much for them that I couldn't keep my feelings from them anymore. This isn't some thing to boost my reputation as Hero of Canterlot High here. . . it's something that I want to do for them and not just myself.

Young Pinkie Pie then rushes up to latch onto (Y/N)'s arm.

Young Pinkie Pie: Yeah! I love (Y/N) so much that he's practically is another one of the key items added to my list of what my fuels my happiness meter!

Young Fluttershy: I. . . wouldn't mind being with (Y/N) around my friends either. . . I love him just as much.

Young Applejack: We all do. Principal Celestia we know that this is a rather unorthodox idea, but trust us. . . we ain't tryin' to pull any strings here.

Principal Celestia: Really? Have your parents responded to any comment of this idea as well?

Young Applejack crosses her arms.

Young Applejack: As a matter of fact, yes. And believe me when I say that Granny Smith did find it just as weird as you do, but she'll allow it for me if it means that I'll be happy with havin' (Y/N) as somebody I love.

Young Rainbow Dash: If you guys think it's weird, fine. But sticking with (Y/N) here is something that even I can't deny that it's something that I want as well.

Young Rarity: It's something we all want. And he wants it just as much as we do.

Principal Celestia was still not amused by this as she just crosses her arms with a serious look on her face.

Young (Y/N): Celestia, I know that things may not be normal if you agree to something like this, but even you have to admit that ever since then we've grown and even if we're still growing. . . there are certain extra changes or steps that we all want in life as well. I mean. . . I'm sure my mother would want me to be happy no matter what. Don't you. . .? You were very close to her after all.

Principal Celestia stands up from her desk and looks away from the group while putting a hand on her chin to think hard about this decision. She knows that (Y/N) is not entirely wrong, but it still seemed like something out of the ordinary. She then looks back at the (Hu) Mane 6 and her eyes widen when she sees all of them making some puppy dog eyes faces at her practically begging her to say yes. Principal Celestia looks at all six of them before she facepalms and sighs.

Principal Celestia: *sighs* For any other student. . . I would've said no, but. . . (Y/N), you and I know your mother quite well and. . . you would be right. . .

The (Hu) Mane 6 get a really big smile from this as Principal Celestia made up her mind as she smiled while putting both hands on her hips.

Principal Celestia: Alright, (Y/N). I will allow you to be in a relationship with these five girls that you love. If you can make it work that is.

All of the (Hu) Mane 6 were so happy from this as all of the girls then hugged (Y/N) who hugged them back with joy that he now has a harem with all five girls and he couldn't be happier.

(Y/N): That's how the girls and I finally got together and now you practically know the rest considering the temporary breakup that we went through.

(End of Flashback)

One last photo is shown of the (Hu) Mane 6 all together on (Y/N)'s phone before he pulls it away to turn it off and put it back in his pocket. Twilight smiles from all of this as she felt like that hearing that story is exactly what (Y/N) needed to do.

Twilight Sparkle: That was a really nice story, (Y/N).

Rainbow Dash: Man, just thinking about all of those moments gives me nostalgia.

Applejack: I'm right there with ya, Rainbow Dash.

(Y/N): Yeah. . . still though, I really do miss my mother. . . I just hope one day that she'll finally wake up and I'll be able to talk to her again.

(Y/N) says this with a slight dejected look before Pinkie Pie hops over to hug (Y/N) tightly to cheer him up and it worked as (Y/N) couldn't help but return the hug to Pinkie. The rest of the girls look at each other with smiles before joining up for a group hug with (Y/N) and they all held it for a minute.

Applejack: We'll comfort you no matter what happens to yer ma, alright sugarcube?

Rarity: That's right, dear. You have us and we'll help try to keep your spirits up in whatever happens in the future with your mother.

(Y/N): Thanks, girls. It's another reason why I love all of you so much.

The Rainbooms: We love you too, (Y/N).

Sunset who was in the group hug didn't say a word, but she blushed just a little before kind of seeing that maybe she and (Y/N) aren't that different from each other as she thought. Once everyone broke the hug, everybody went back to eating the leftover pizza that they had before it was time to head off to bed. Everybody was back at Pinkie's room as everyone set up their sleeping bags to sleep in.

Pinkie Pie: Alright, everyone! Nighty night! Beddy bye! Don't let the bed buggys bite! I'm going to have a really sweet dream of me jumping into a pool of cake frosting.

(Y/N): *chuckles* I'm sure you dream about something like that almost everyday.

(Y/N) got into his sleeping bag and he was getting ready to rest up, but not before he felt some weight on his shoulder as he looks to his left to see that Rarity was leaning on him with a smile on her face.

(Y/N): Um, what are you doing?

Rarity: Shush, pillow~

(Y/N): *rolls eyes* Oh, brother. . .

(Y/N) says this with a playful smile before he lays back down on his own pillow and he instantly fell asleep along with the rest of the girls as they were all fast asleep as the lights went out for the night.

Later in the middle of the night, soft snoring drifts up from floor level as Twilight sits up, looks cautiously around herself, and gets up to stand. The other girls are sprawled out everywhere, on the bed and under sleeping bags, Fluttershy nestling Spike, and Twilight has a real chore to tiptoe her way to the nightstand without stepping or falling on any of them. Twilight then eases the drawer on the nightstand open and retrieves the notebook that she put in there earlier.

In the kitchen, she has her pen clamped between her teeth and is holding the notebook open under her fists like a pony in Equestria might use mouth and hooves for this purpose. She scrawls a little something, eyes it critically, then lets disgust run over her whole face and shakes her head vigorously before spitting the pen out to one side.

Twilight Sparkle: No. That's not gonna work.

She rubs her eyes before a voice calls out to her.

Sunset Shimmer: Hey, Twilight.

That startles her as she looks to see her former rival and alternate boyfriend lounging at the kitchen entrance.

(Y/N): It's pretty late, but I guess figuring out the counter spell with as much time as we've got is fair.

Twilight then hastily covers her scribbles so Sunset couldn't see as they both walk in.

Twilight Sparkle: You're right, (Y/N). We only get one shot at this. It has to be perfect.

(Y/N) then sits down right beside her while Sunset walks over to open the refrigerator.

Sunset Shimmer: We really are lucky you're here.

Twilight Sparkle: That's what everyone keeps telling me.

Sunset then looks in the refrigerator to see that all of the shelves were heavily packed with cans of whipped cream.

Sunset Shimmer: Who could possibly need this much whipped cream?

(Y/N): Pinkie Pie. . . I mean who else but her am I right?

This gains a little bit of giggles from everybody before Sunset grabs a can and squirts some whipped cream on her finger.

Sunset Shimmer: Must be nice to have everyone always looking to you for answers to their problems. . . instead of waiting for you to cause a problem.

Twilight Sparkle: Just because everyone expects something from you doesn't mean it's guaranteed to happen.

Sunset Shimmer: Well, that doesn't stop them from expecting it.

(Y/N): It's like they think that whatever chance is above zero is always guaranteed to work.

Twilight Sparkle: Which only makes things harder because the last thing you want to do is. . .

Twilight Sparkle, (Y/N), Sunset Shimmer: . . .let everybody down.

On these last three words, they all look up and trade a pair of lopsided smiles with each other. Sunset puts the whipped cream can away and closes the fridge and the door's movement exposes the edge of a figure standing a short distance behind her which was Maud. Sunset cries out in shock and recoils from the unexpected sight.

Sunset Shimmer: Waaah!

Maud's deadpan expression and monotonic voice remain firmly in place as she holds up her pet rock, Boulder.

Maud Pie: Boulder was hungry.

Reaching up to open a cupboard, she brings out a box of crackers and proceeds to pour the contents over Boulder, "feeding" him. Sunset backs gingerly up to the table, and she and Twilight watch uncomprehendingly as Maud walks off, still dumping and scattering the food. Sunset looks over to (Y/N) who wags his finger and shakes his head.

(Y/N): *whispers* Don't ask. . .

Sunset Shimmer: *whispers* I still can't get over the fact that she's related to Pinkie Pie.

Twilight Sparkle: *whispers* You and me both.

(Y/N): *whispers* Sister shenanigans.

Twilight, (Y/N), and Sunset trade big smiles, after which Sunset yawns hugely.

Sunset Shimmer: I better get some sleep. Good luck with the counter-spell. Not that you'll need it. This must be nothing compared with the stuff you're expected to deal with as a princess in Equestria.

Twilight pauses briefly before calling out to Sunset one last time.

Twilight Sparkle: Sunset Shimmer?

The said girl stops at the doorway and looks back, but Twilight can get no words out and instead she stitches on a big smile and waves herself off.

Twilight Sparkle: . . .Never mind. It's not important.

The smile she gets in return is perhaps a bit strained, and she watches the Sunset's figure recede into the darkness beyond the kitchen doorway. (Y/N) looks down for a second contemplating on what he wants to do before turning to Twilight.

(Y/N): Twilight, why don't I help you with creating the counter-spell?

Twilight looks at (Y/N) surprised from this.

Twilight Sparkle: Wait, really? But you hardly know anything about Equestrian magic.

(Y/N): Doesn't mean that some of my intellect can't be helpful. To me you need all of the help that you can get.

Twilight looks away a little glum before scratching her cheek.

Twilight Sparkle: Even so, everyone is seeing me as a huge liability to getting this done for them and I don't want to disappoint any-

(Y/N) quickly interrupts Twilight as he surprises her by pulling her in for a kiss on the lips. Twilight looks at (Y/N) before she closes her eyes and melts into the kiss as she even strokes his cheek just a little bit. After hugging and kissing for a moment, they break apart and (Y/N) smiles at Twilight before placing his hands on her shoulders.

(Y/N): We're going to figure this out. . . but to get the most out of it, let's do it together.

Twilight blushes a little bit embarrassed before nodding in agreement with that. As they both turn back to the notebook, (Y/N) grabs the pen that Twilight threw a few minutes ago before helping her write down some more notes and ideas that could possibly work to help defeat the Dazzlings. As he did, Twilight couldn't help herself and she leans on (Y/N)'s shoulder which surprised him before he smiles and wraps an arm around her to pull her closer. They both focused hard on the counter-spell over the night, doing the best that they could to find any kind of solution. They're not confident, but they know that they'll get there eventually.
