A few weeks later, you were getting ready for your first race. After weeks of training with Soarin, you were finally going to race. You were scared and nervous, but Soarin tried to calm you down.

"Everything's gonna be okay, your gonna do great (y/n)." He said, trying to reassure you.

You start to breathe deeply. "But these are pros!!"

"Well, you are too." Soarin blushes. You blush as well.

"All flyers to the starting line, all flyers to the starting line." A voice says over the speakers. "The race is in two minutes."

"I guess I need to go." You look at Soarin. "Wish me luck."

"Good luck." He smiles and flys to the stands. You then fly to the starting line right next to a mare with a flame colored pelt.

"Hey!" The mare gets your attention. "Good luck, newbie." She looks ahead again.

You smirk and look ahead as well. Oh, I'm gonna prove to you I'm not just a newbie. You think.

"Ready racers?" The announcer shouts. You all nod your heads. "Set? Go!!" And you were off!

You zoomed through the air, a stallion right on your tail. Then, you saw a bunch of clouds a few feet in front of you. You smirked and dived down, making the pony get lost in the dark clouds. After you passed the clouds, you flew back up.

It was silent for a moment. You got pretty suspicious. You looked behind you, and the mare that called you a newbie was right behind you! You started doing flips, but that didn't lose her. You started going faster, but she caught up.

Then, you had an idea. You started diving down again, not stopping. The mare was still following you, thinking that you had a secret pathway to the finish line. Then, you started getting closer to the ground. You got closer.... And closer... Then BAM! You swerved up at the last second and the pony smacked down on the ground. You cheered really loudly, and you heard the audience cheering as well.

Then, two minutes later, there it was. The finish line. You sped up, but then Somepony slammed into you on the ground and you tumbled down. Gaining balance once more, you look up and the stallion you drove into the clouds was getting closer to the finish line! Determined to win, you gained speed, going faster than you ever had before. Then, you were side by side, feet away from the finish line. Using all the strength you had, you pushed forward and crossed the finish line, two seconds before the stallion did.

You heard the audience roar with happiness. You smiled our biggest smile, so happy that you won... I won!! You think. Then, you fly down to the ground and someone places a golden medal around your neck. You keep smiling.

You look forward and suddenly, someone makes you fall down. Then, you her Soarin's voice, "You won, (y/n)!" He helps you up and says, "I'm so proud of you."

You both blush and you got closer and closer to eachother... You looked in his beautiful green eyes and suddenly, you kiss. It was wonderful, and long. The audience "aww"ed and the jumbo tron was on you. But you didn't care. You were too happy to even notice...
