"(Y/n)!" Prince Artamis called your name.

You immediately flew towards his direction and landed in front of him. "Yes, your highness?"

He rolled his eyes. "Come on, I've known you since you were a filly. Stop calling me your highness."

You slightly smile. "Okay, if you say so... Your highness." You giggle while Artemis smiled his dazzling smile. "Anyway, why do you need?"

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to train with the army today? All of the recruits love you."

You laugh. "Okay, okay. Sure! Let's go!" You start walking towards the training arena when suddenly you both jump into Lord Solaris, Artamis's brother.

"Watch where your going please. Also, where are you two going?" He asked.

"Oh, we're just going to train with the army today!" Artamis told his brother.

Solaris hook his head. "You can't. You've been doing it too much and I think the recruits are scared of you now. So IM doing it today." And with that, he galloped away.

The smile ran away from your face. "I'm sorry Artamis."

"No, I'm sorry." He said quietly. "Can...can I be excused for a moment?"

"Um...sure?" You say, wondering what was wrong. "Is everything okay?"

"Yes. I'll be right back (y/n)." And he galloped away, his short starry hair flowing behind him.

After a few minutes of being alone, you decide to check on him. You Trot over to his room and hear talking from inside. You put an (s/c) ear on the door to see what was ping on.

"No, no!! I won't Let you do that." You hear Artemis yell.

"Oh come on Artemis. This bullying has been going on for long enough. Just let me take over, and that will change." A gruff voice replied to him.

"No. Your evil. You'll hurt ponys, an I can't let that happen."

"No I won't, at least not all of them." You hear an evil chuckle. "And come on, with this power, (y/n) will finally see you as powerful and brave."

But I already see him as powerful and brave. You think.

You hear silence for a moment. Then, you hear, "You think she will?"

"I KNOW she will. Just let me take control, and I PROMISE I won't hurt her."

Don't do it Artemis. Don't do it.

"...fine. Just don't hurt my brother."

"Oh, I don't know about that."

"Wait, what??" You hear him scream. "NO, NO!!"

Suddenly, the door bursts open, making you slam into the opposite wall. You groan in pain, your wings an back aching. You look up and gasp as you see a pony you've never seen before.

"W-what have you done with Artemis?" You manage to get out.

The armored figure laughed evilly. "Oh, he's long gone. Say goodbye to Artemis, and say hello to Darkhorse Knight."

"No!" You scream.

"Oh yes. Now why don't you go to sleep." He said, and suddenly everything went black.

Afterwords you woke up and your family told you that Darkhorse Knight had been banished to the moon by his brother. You burst into tear at the sound of that.

As the years followed, you blamed yourself for the incident. If only YOU had went with him. If only YOU had stopped the bullying. If only YOU had burst in the door and said, "Don't do it", then he would have been with you.

One day, you had heard that six stallions had freed him from the moon and taken down Darkhorse Knight. You didn't believe it though, because you stopped believing in him coming back a year ago.

As you were cleaning the halls of the palace, you hear footsteps coming behind you. With a sigh you said, "Please be careful running through these halls. I just mopped."

"(Y/n)?" A familiar voice said.

No. It can't be. "Artemis??" You say as you turned around.

Artemis smiled and ran towards you. "(Y/n)!!"

You smiled and flew towards him until you were hugging. Then, you broke apart and looked into eachothers eyes.

Before you knew it, you were kissing.

And you loved every second of it.

He pulled away and caressed your (h/c) mane. "(Y/n)...I'm back."

"Your back." You say, with happy tears in your eyes.
