#25: Chat-Swapped!!
Storytime:
You know how when you're so tired that everything seems funny?
Yeah that happened to me last night. I was tired but giggling a lot and was writing. Then, I noticed a new freckle on my arm. And, in my exhausted state, I drew a smiley face on it with my pen and named it Farckle.
So, he is now Farckle the Freckle.
I must protect him with my life. XD

This oneshot's a short-ish one.
But, in my defense, I wrote a long chap last time and am working my butt off writing the next oneshot.
And I'm trying to catch up on the rest of the oneshots.
Oh, and I'm trying to write a book of TLOS Oneshots.
And I'm trying to put all of the "Tale of Fallen Heroes" parts into a single book.
And a I'm writing werewolf trilogy. (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the first book "Chasms of Copper!!")
So, yeah, cut me some slack XD
'''''
The art, above, is not mine and is barely relevant to the story. I just thought it was funny.
It won't let me add the other part, above, so here it is!
'''''
There won't be a part 2 to this, 'cause I'm too busy.
However, if you want to read another timeswap story, @WhitleyMiranda (it won't let me tag anyone >:0) has a really good one!!
It's not a full timeswap story, because the Marinettes don't switch, per say. One of them enters the same timeline that the other is in. XD
It's called "Revealed in Time" you should really check it out!!! I love it!!
'''''
Anyway, enjoy the oneshot!!

Chat Noir gasped for air; trying to recover from the hit the akuma just laid against him.
He'd been knocked backwards into a wall after the villain threw a vehicle at him. Thankfully, their aim had been off and the car merely nicked him in the side.
"Chat!!" Ladybug called. "Are you okay?!"
"I'm feline pawsome, M'lady," he wheezed.
The spotted heroine rolled her eyes.
"We've got to stop Time Warp!" she told him as he drew nearer to her. "We don't know what her powers are, and I have a feeling that we don't want to be around to find out!"
Chat winked at her.
"My thoughts purrcisely."
"Chat, I swear to all things holy, you'd better stop with all these puns or el—"
"—Look out!!"
The cat themed hero pushed Ladybug out of the way of Time Warp's whip; taking the blow, himself.
"Chat!!"
Ladybug watched in horror as her partner was surrounded by a beam of light.
She spun around to face Time Warp.
"What did you do to him?!!"
The villain smirked.
"You'll find out, soon enough."
With that, she leapt away and out of sight.
"Ladybug? What—what just happened?" she heard Chat's voice from behind her.
But, something about his voice was different.
It was deeper and huskier than it had been, before.
Ladybug spun around to face him. She felt her jaw drop at the sight before her.
Standing at least six feet tall was a tan, green-eyed man with messy blond hair.
He wore the same outfit as Chat Noir—but there were a few modifications added to it.
The collar of the suit was flared out, slightly, and the neckline was lower. Green seams ran along the fitted armor panels. Even his mask had changed; silver lines circled the mask edge in abstract patterns.
What was even more, though, was how muscular he was. His toned biceps and abs were apparent—even through the suit.
He looked hot—I mean—attractive.
Ladybug could feel her cheeks flare up with a blush.
Despite the change in appearance, the spotted heroine could tell that he was the same Chat Noir she knew; his eyes were the same.
Their green depths held the same amount of laughter, love, and curiosity—if not more than they had, before.
"Marinette? What happened to you?! Babe, you look younger and your hair is in pigtails again!"
Ladybug felt her face pale, significantly.
"M-Marinette?!! I'm not—ah—I'm not Marinette!!"
The man before her frowned.
"Honey, what's the matter? Why are yo—" he cut himself off; eyes wide. He ran a hand through his hair; making it messier.
"Oh, I messed up. Plagg will never let me hear the end of this," he groaned.
He turned turned to Ladybug.
"I'm very sorry, Mar—Ladybug, but can I ask how old you are?"
"Fifteen," she quietly responded.
He took a breath.
"Okay, so this is gonna be kinda hard to understand, but, apparently I'm from the future." He made it sound more like a question, than a statement.
"Like," he continued. "About ten yearsinto your future. And I'm sorry, but I do know your identity, Mari."
"How?"
Chat scratched at the back of his neck.
"You revealed your identity to me; as simple as that. And then I did, too." He paused to chuckle.
"Your reaction was so hilarious."
When Marinette said nothing, Chat coughed, awkwardly.
"Um, I'm guessing it was an akuma that brought me here—right?"
Ladybug sighed.
"Yes, her name is Time Warp."
The older Chat chuckled, again.
"Well that name is pawretty self-explanatory."
The spotted heroine groaned and face palmed.
Yep, that's definitely Chat.
But just as she was about to reprimand him, he put his hand on her shoulder; grabbing her attention.
"I'm sorry, Marinette. I forgot you didn't like my puns," he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "I won't do them anymore. You have my word," he lifted up his right hand in a salute. "Cat's Honor."
Ladybug blinked, mutely.
What-the-what?
Doth my ears deceive me?
Chat just...apologized? For a pun?
Of course, it was a bad pun. But he actually apologized?!
Marinette watched as Chat turned his focus to the Paris skyline.
He was definitely the same Chat that she knew. But that didn't change how different he was acting around her, now.
It wasn't bad; it was a good kind of different.
He was more gentlemanly and attentive. He could accurately gauge her thoughts and feelings with a single glance. And he took her input into consideration.
It made her wonder.
Was her Chat like this, too?
Was there a whole other side to him that she had never considered, before?
Did she want to consider it?
She gazed at the Chat before her as he searched the skyline for the akuma.
His blond hair was a messy halo around his attractive face. Flyaway hairs floated in the wind.
His emerald green eyes shone bright in the light of the setting sun.
Ladybug blushed.
Perhaps she would consider it.

Bonus (I couldn't resist)
It was quite a while before the younger Chat Noir finally exited the vortex of light. He landed on the ground, with a grunt.
Groaning, the young man got to his knees.
He blearily opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings.
It looked like he was somewhere near the Eiffel Tower.
Then again, his vision was still a little hazy. And last he checked, the Eiffel Tower didn't have a giant red and black gloved hand in front of it.
He rubbed his eyes and opened them, again.
No, wait. It was still there.
Upon closer inspection, he figured out that the hand was attached to an arm. And that, in turn was connected to the person's body.
And, they weren't giant at all. Instead, they were just close-up. His depth perception must have been off, at first.
"Chat," came an exasperated voice. "Aren't you gonna get up?" The gloved hand reached out toward him.
Wait a second, he'd know that voice anywhere.
"Ladybug?" he queried. He took the hand and she pulled him to his feet.
"I thought cats always land on their feet," came her melodic voice.
"Well," he replied shaking his head and looking up. "This cat is alw—"
He felt the words die in his throat as he took in her appearance.
He felt like his brain had shorted out.
It was the same Ladybug he'd always known. But, wow, she'd changed.
She was obviously older; her figure was more mature than he'd known it to be.
She wore the same ladybug suit she always did, but with a few alterations.
Black material lined her waist and accentuated her curves even more. Black elbow-length gloves covered her dainty hands; with red tips on the fingers. And, the suit's neckline was a little lower than it used to be.
Her hair was still the blue-tinted raven color that he had always admired. But instead of being in short pigtails, it was long and pulled back into a high, flowing ponytail.
Her face had evolved into a mature expression with dainty features. Her plump, rosy lips were quirked into a smirk. Cerulean blue eyes shone with both mischief and modesty.
Chat could already feel the blazing blush on his cheeks has he took in her new look.
Ladybug, on the other hand, got a slightly maniacal look in her eyes.
She began to laugh as she realized what had happened.
Oh, the poor kitty.
He was so not prepared for her revenge.
