So, on my trip, I did some major character and story developing!

Character Personality Descriptions

Keira/Bumblewing

Keira is a funny and smart girl. She longs to be outgoing, but hardly gets the chance to do so. So, as Bumblewing, she is jumps at the chance of getting to be another person, in a way. Bumblewing is fun, witty, and playful.

Colby/Remmytail

Colby is a well-raised young gentleman. He is very sweet, polite, and always uses his head. As Remmytail, he uses these strengths to protect the group. He grows to be very protective and caring.

Kiro/Foxglove

There isn't a large difference between Kiro and his alter-ego. Both he and Foxglove have a playful sense of humor and teases his friends, constantly. He is also known as a huge flirt. However, his flirting is unsupported--he doesn't mean it.

Laila/Ladybug

Laila is a very sweet and caring girl. She is incredibly compassionate and is constantly trying to help others; making her one of the best Ladybugs. As Ladybug, Laila feels a sense of freedom. Where being outgoing and seeking attention from people might be looked down upon as Laila, she is free to do so as Ladybug. She feels complete as her alter-ego.

Kai/King Noir

Kai is very stoic and silent. He's kinda the brooding and mysterious type. He isn't rude or mean; although he may appear that way. He's really a sweet man and is very protective. The reason that Kai is silent a lot is because he likes to think things over before speaking; he doesn't like rash decisions. As King Noir, he grows to learn to relax a little more. Although he is the more serious of the group, he thinks affectionately of his team and grows to be a fierce and loyal protector.

Novan/Night Viper

Novan is temperamental and dangerous. Although he is hardly around other people, he knows how to attract a crowd. As Night Viper, he is as deceiving as a snake; brainwashing victims is his specialty. He is good at manipulating other's feelings and can grow to be a strong, but terrible leader.

Character Interacting Dynamics

Civilian Form

Kai and Laila are friends. But they are not very close friends. Laila knows Kai because he trains at the same grounds that she likes to gather flowers. However, Kai has watched her ever since they were children. She doesn't remember, but they were childhood friends; they grew apart when Kai's father sent him off to train for the military. 

Laila is very close friends with Kiro; they became friends when Kai was sent away and left Laila alone. Kiro and Laila have a brother-sister friendship dynamic. And although it is all-known fact that Kiro is a huge flirt, it is unsustainable; his affections lie elsewhere.

Kiera and Colby are close friends. They met when Colby noticed the young girl sitting alone on a bench and he came to her aid and became her friend. 

Hero Form

In short, the whole 'Hero Squad' are very close to each other. They all bring their own addition to the group; completing it. 

Bumblewing is the spunky and outgoing friend; Remmytail is the chivalrous and protective guardian angel; Foxglove is the flirt, the 'Life of the Party', and the comedic relief during battles; Ladybug is persistent, the 'mom' friend, and always finds a solution; and King Noir is protective, vengeful, follows his logic more than his heart, and an all-round big softie. 

Relationships/Ships

Laila/Ladybug has a crush on King Noir; she's constantly trying to gain his affections but doesn't flirt as excessively as the Chat we all love does. Instead, she compliments him and pays a lot of attention to him. She also gives him the pet name, My King.

Kai/King Noir is in love with Laila; he does little things to try and please her; but he hardly ever makes a move on her. Often, he gives her small gifts or just pays attention to her; he doesn't want to scare her off.

Colby/Remmytail is in love with Bumblewing, who flirts back and forth with Foxglove. And while Foxglove's and Bumblewing's flirting is just as a joke, Remmytail is still hurt by it. Because of this, he grows to be very protective of Bumblewing.

Kiera/Bumblewing has a secret crush on Remmytail. Foxglove knows about it and tries to help make Remmytail jealous. It does not work, however, because as he was raised to be a gentleman, Remmytail doesn't interfere. 

Kiro/Foxglove is in love with a mystery maiden; who he doesn't reveal. (You will find out who she is, but not at the moment.)

Novan/Night Viper's Backstory

Novan is a disgraced student of the Miraculous Arts. He had been trained to be a Miraculous guardian, but he was soon found out to be power-hungry, reckless, and dangerous. In a fit of rage, Novan tried to steal all of the Miraculouses, but only made it out of the Guardians' defenses with the Snake Miraculous.
