MJ's POV

I'm standing next to mummy while Stefan speaks to Uncle Klaus on the phone. Mikael is apparently daggered in the other room. Mummy refused to let me leave her side with Mikael in the same house. Even while he's daggered. "Your father is dead" Stefan tells him. "Oh, my mistake. Not your actual father and not dead. Mikael. Daggered. What do you want me to do with the body?" he asks.

Stefan explained the story they had made up about how they daggered Mikael. Before going silent. "Well, he is here. Come by whenever" he tells Klaus. "It's true. I saw it with my own eyes" he assures him. "That's not a problem. She is right here" he states handing to phone to mummy.

"Hello Nik" she says. "It's true. He's finally out of our lives for good. I miss you, so does MJ. We're miserable here" she states. "Good. I'll see you then, brother" she says before hanging up. "He bought it. He's coming home" she tells us.

"Now- was that easy or what?" Damon asks smugly.

"Lets just get this over with" Elena states and goes to undagger Mikael.

"Go shower MJ, then I'll do your hair" mummy tells me. I nod my head and run to our bathroom. Mummy is taking me to homecoming with her. Leaving killing Uncle Klaus to Mikael and the Salvatores.

(Mini time skip)

"Mummy, I'm ready!" I cheer as I run into the study. To see her with Mikael.

"You look lovely MJ" mummy tells me as she comes to stand beside me. She then looks at Mikael who looks at us with an unknown emotion in his eyes. "You destroyed our family. Not him" she tells him. "Come MJ" she says leading me from the room.

"Rebekah" he says, but we ignore him.

"Are you ok Mummy?" I ask her concerned.

"I'm fine" she assures me. "Lets finish getting ready" she tells me. I nod my head in agreement and we go to her room.

(Time skip)

"You look beautiful mummy" I tell her with a bright smile.

"Not as beautiful as you my daughter" she tells me. Just then Elena enters the room.

"Getting a head start?" she asks.

"Embarrassing truth? This is my first high school dance" mummy tells her.

"Ever?" we ask shocked.

"I never really had time for high school before. Nik and I were always moving around, running. Anyway- I didn't want to leave anything to chance" she states. "Have you heard anymore from him?" she asks.

"No. But I'm sure that when he does return he'll do it with flair" Elena tells her.

"Sounds like Uncle Klaus" I state and I notice Elena frown.

"And Damon and my father are all set with their plan?" mummy asks.

"Yes" Elena says.

"Don't tell me. I don't want to know, I just- I want to go to the dance and leave the rest to Mikael" Mummy tells her.

"I know it's really hard. So thank you for helping us get Klaus back into town" Elena tells her.

"Just be careful. I've been running for a thousand years for a reason. Mikael is not a good person and he definitely can't be trusted. No one in my family can, except for my daughter" mummy says proudly.

"I love you" I tell her.

"And I you" she tells me. "Why don't you go show the others your dress" she suggests.

"Ok, be back shortly" I say happily. I kiss her cheek and wave goodbye to Elena. Before racing off to go find the others. Only to run into Mikael. I gulp and back away from his scared.

"Don't fear me young one, may we talk?" he asks me in a gentle tone.

"Mummy told me to stay away from you" I tell him.

"It won't take long, I merely want to ask you about your relationship with my daughter" he tells me.

"That's all?" I ask.

"Yes" he says.

"Ok, but then I have to get back to mummy" I tell him. Suddenly I'm picked up from behind and scream. My necklace is removed.

"Do it now" Damon states.

"No!" I shout. Mikael cups my face and has me look into his eyes.

"You'll forget your relationship with my daughter and Klaus. He's nothing but the monster who murdered your mother and you want him dead. Rebekah means nothing to you" he tells me. I blink confused.

"Damon why are you holding me?" I ask confused.

"Couldn't resist, you look so cute in that dress" he tells me and twirls me around. I squeal happily and he puts me down. "Ready for tonight?" he asks me.

"We're going to kill the monster he killed my mother" I state.

"That we are" he says with a smile. "Your missing something" he tells me and holds up my vervain necklace. I frown in confusion touching my neck.

"I thought I had put it on after my shower" I state.

"Guess you didn't clasp it right" he tells me. "Allow me" he says and I turn around. He clasps it around my neck.

"Thanks Damon" I say with a smile.

"Remember, stay with Caroline" he tells me and I nod my head. We go to the Lockwood house where homecoming is being held. I'm handed off to Caroline. We enter the house with Bonnie.

"How did he plan a better party than me so fast? What? Is that a band outside?" Care asks.

"Who are all these people?" Bonnie asks.

"They're not all from your school?" I ask confused and she shakes her head.

"This is weird! Where is Tyler?" Care asks. We head outside, her holding my hand the whole time. The music dies down and we see the monster who murdered my mother on stage. I glare at him.

"Good evening everyone! I wanna thank you for being here with me to celebrate! It's been a long time coming" he states.

"We gotta tell Elena" Care states. She escorts me back inside. We see Elena arrive with Matt. "Hey, Klaus is here" Care tells them.

"What?" Matt asks shocked.

"Yeah! Apparently our sired hybrid-friend Tyler thought it would be okay to let his master throw a party! I expected more surprise" she says looking at Elena.

"I've learned not to be surprised by anything Klaus does. I'm gonna go find Bonnie. Please keep MJ close" Elena tells Care and Matt before leaving us.

"What's going on? And what are you two doing here together? Thought you were supposed to be here with Rebekah" Care says confused.

"Plan's changed. I need a drink" Matt states before leaving us.

"Lets go dance" Care tells me. I agree. Though I wanted to see Mikael kill Klaus with my own eyes. Soon Tyler appears and takes us to his room.

"What are you up to with Klaus?" he asks Care.

"Uh nothing" she tells him. She doesn't know the plan.

"He is on to you, Caroline. Whatever you all think you're about to pull off- he's two steps ahead of you" he tells her.

"Okay, I don't know what you're talking about" she tells him.

"She's right, she wasn't told the plan and neither was I. I only know that monster is going to pay for what he did to my mother" I sneer.

"Can we please just go back to the party now?" Care asks us. I agree and we go to leave. Tyler takes out a syringe and vervains Caroline; she goes down unconscious. I go to run and he blocks my path.

"I'm sorry MJ, but I can't let you leave" he tells me. Soon Matt appears. He asks Tyler what he did to Care. "It's just vervain. She'll be fine. But I need you to get her and MJ out of here as fast as possible" Tyler tells him.

"I'm not leaving until the monster who murdered my mother is dead" I snap.

"What's going on?" Matt asks confused.

"Something's going down against Klaus and this house is full of hybrids like me that can't let anything happen to him" Tyler states. I freeze in shock. There are more hybrids here, that means the others are in danger. I have to warn them.

"What do you mean can't?" Matt asks him.

"I can't explain it. I can't fight against it. I just know that I need to protect him no matter who gets in my way" Tyler explains.

"By attacking Caroline and holding MJ hostage?" Matt asks.

"I'm protecting them, Matt!" Tyler exclaims. "This is the only way to keep them safe. Please. Just get them out of here safely. Get everyone out" he pleads. Before leaving the room

"We have to warn the others" I tell Matt.

"I'm sorry MJ, I'm with Tyler no this one. I have to get you and Caroline out of here. I'll text Elena" he tells me. He picks up Care and we left. We get into his truck and he drives us to Care's house. He left Care there, then took me home. He told me to not invite anyone in before leaving.

Suddenly I get a huge headache. I grab it and scream in pain. I black out, when I wake I remember mummy. That's when I realize I'd been compelled by Mikael. If I remember, that means he's dead. Not Klaus. I decide to sleep off my headache before going to search for mummy.
