Third Person POV
"Hey, hey, hey! What's all the rush, son? You can't even stop long enough to let me park the car properly in our driveway?" Mrs. Titicharoenrak complained.
Yes, Gemini's mom had good reason to complain. She had barely put the gear on park and turned the engine off when. like a tornado, Gemini jumped out of the car and rushed inside the house, tossed his backpack to one corner of the living room and rushed into the bathroom. He needed to shower off the sweat and grime that had accumulated in his body after his last subject, P.E. He didn't want going to Fourth's house smelling of body odor.
When he came out of the shower smelling of fragrant body wash and shampoo, he put on a pair of dark blue denims and a light blue t-shirt whose front had the following words printed on it in black italics What I say goes
"Aren't you an hour too early to be leaving for your tutorial work?" Gemini's mom raised an eyebrow at her son. "And why did you shower again? You already took a shower this morning."
"You're asking too many questions, mom." Gemini said as he gave his mother a good bye kiss on her cheek.
In the meantime, at Fourth's residence, Fourth was also having an argument with his mom.
"Son, have you forgotten? We are trying to save on water consumption. What's with taking a shower twice in a day?" Mrs. Jirochtikul complained.
"Mom, I had very rigorous P.E. exercises this afternoon," Fourth explained patiently. "I sweated so bad that my P.E. shirt felt like it came straight out of the washing machine. And Gemini will be here to tutor me any minute now. I don't want him to complain of my body odor."
"Isn't it too early for him to be here?" Mrs. Jirochtikul asked as she glanced at the wall clock above the dining room cabinet.
"He has agreed to tutor me an extra hour today," Fourth said as he grabbed a blueberry muffin from a tray on the dining table.
He quickly gobbled that up and was reaching out for another when his mom slapped his arm away.
"Leave some for Gemini," his mom said. "I want him to be able to taste my newly baked muffins."
Fourth pouted but did not insist on taking another muffin. Instead he went over to the fridge and took out a carton of chocolate flavored milk and poured some of it into a tall drinking glass.
Fourth had barely finished drinking the milk when he heard the gate buzzing.
The housekeeper went out the front door to let Gemini in.
Fourth took a quick glance at himself in the full length mirror in the living room.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Fourth said as he greeted Gemini at the front door.
"What?" Gemini gave Fourth a puzzled look.
Fourth pointed at Gemini's t-shirt.
"That sentence is incomplete." Fourth said.
"What do you mean?" Gemini asked.
"The complete sentence should be What I say goes... right out the window" Fourth said with a smirk.
He got a painful flick on the forehead from Gemini.
"Oww!" Fourth complained.
"I chose this shirt to remind you who's gonna be the boss in the next two hours," Gemini declared.
Fourth made a face at him.
"Gemini!" Mrs. Jirochtikul called out from the dining room. "Come and have some of the blueberry muffins that I baked this afternoon."
"Some??? Did I hear some???" Fourth protested. "You gave me, your very own son, only one muffin and he gets to have several???"
"Your cheeks are getting a little too chubby," Mrs. Jirochtikul said, pinching her son's cheek. "I'm just trying to help you keep in shape."
Gemini studied Fourth's cheeks.
"Nah, he looks just fine," Gemini said handing his muffin to Fourth, "Here you can have mine."
Fourth looked at Gemini wide eyed before accepting the muffin, his face growing warm.
