Third  Person POV

The smell of delicious lunch food greeted Gemini's nose as he entered the school cafeteria.

He hated that his Chemistry teacher kept his class a few minutes more even after the bell rang and so now there was a long line at the cafeteria.

His stomach was already grumbling when he finally reached the part of the counter where the metal trays were stacked up.

Gemini grabbed the tray at the very top and set it down on the row of metal bars in front of the food counter.

He greeted the food server and pointed to the beef and potato stew.

"Can I have a bowl of that please?" Gemini asked.

"Sure," the food server replied as he scooped some of the dish into a mid size bowl and then handed it to Gemini.

Gemini moved forward in the line and asked the other food server behind the counter for two pieces of the large and crispy garlic bread.

The food server used a pair of shiny kitchen tongs to place the garlic bread slices into a plate before handing it to Gemini.

Just before reaching the cashier, there was a long and wide container of assorted beverages standing on a bed of ice. Gemini picked up a can of honey lemon iced tea and placed it on his tray beside his bowl of beef and potato stew and his plate of crispy garlic bread pieces. Then he stepped forward to pay the cashier for his food and drink.

He groped around for his wallet, first in one pocket, then the other pocket then his shirt pocket.

Gahdfuckingdammit did he forget to bring his wallet with him to school???

"You're holding up the line," somebody said to Gemini from behind him.

Gemini turned to look who was talking, Shit it was Fourth. It had to be Forth who would witness his humiliation.

"Ohoh! What's the matter, Mr. Know-it-all, you have no money to pay for your lunch?" Fourth asked with a very noticeable smirk.

Gemini muttered a "Sorry" to the cashier and was about to walk quickly away when Fourth grabbed his wrist.

"Wait," Fourth said, "I will pay for your lunch."

"You don't have to," Gemini muttered.

"Don't worry," Fourth said, "I will be expecting you to pay me back.Remember the saying, 'there's no such thing as a free lunch'? Well this is the classic example of that saying. You will pay me back by spending an extra hour of tutoring me tonight."

"I'd rather pay you with money." Gemini said.

"You pay me my way or you go hungry until dismissal time this afternoon," Fourth threatened.

"Fine," Gemini said grudgingly as he grabbed his food tray and watched as Fourth paid the cashier for Gemini's and his own lunch, "Thanks," Gemini muttered before walking towards an empty table.

"Not so fast, handsome," Fourth said as he walked close behind Gemini with his own food tray,

"What else do you want?" Gemini asked trying not to show the irritation in his voice. "I already agreed to give you an extra hour of tutoring later tonight."

"Nothing," Fourth said with a wide grin, "I just wanted to join you at your table. Is that too much to ask?"

Gemini rolled his eyes but there was nothing he could do about it. After all Fourth had saved him from hunger and humiliation this noon time, although of course Fourth had an ulterior motive behind his seemingly generous act of kindness.
