Most people listened to her, listened to her problems and listed their own. The school was starting to feel more inviting, now that almost everybody was on the same page.

But one day, as she was in the library, she heard a voice behind her say, "it's good that you quieted down a bit with the equality for all bullshit"

She turned around and saw the boy from the library some weeks ago, walking away to his friends in a corner, snickering at her.

She was getting angrier and angrier by the second, not seeing how he and his friends could act like that when this was a serious issue, and then she finally realized this was an issue that was way bigger than just her school. She realized that racism was taught from a young age and that some people will always think themselves above others.

So she decided to take her cause out of school too.
