She was so tired with the rumors she heard

She didn't mind complements but all she heard was that she was pretty and beautiful

But she didn't want to be pretty or beautiful

She wanted to be something deeper

Something that actually had meaning

Like intelligent or exceptional

But she was always looked at by what she was on the outside and never on what she was on the inside.
