Hii everyone...!! Thank you so much for your love and support for the story. Some of you have been asking how many episodes are left for the story. Well, I don't know exactly. I have two- three ideas for the ending, so, I'll write as many episodes as needed. May be three or four more parts. So, I expect your support for the end of the story much the same way as you have been supporting along the entire story.

Now, here you go with the next episode. I hope you all will like it...

Sanskaar scoops Swara in his arms and within moments he and Navtej rush her to the nearest hospital.

After an hour when all the required tests have been taken, the doctor calls Sanskaar and Navtej to meet him...

Doctor: May I know what's your relationship with the patient?

Navi: I'm her best friend.

Doctor: (to Sanskaar) And you?

Sanskaar: I'm her... Fiancée. We'll get married soon.

Navtej looks at him in utter shock but Sanskaar signals him to remain quiet for sometimes...

Doctor: Good. I actually wanted to talk to a family member only, so that I could tell them the exact situation...

Sanskaar: But what's wrong?

Doctor: We haven't been able to find the exact reason but maybe there was something that she ate or drank back there at the hotel. Even though the injury is not that serious but I fear that she won't be able to talk for a day or two.

Sanskaar: (freaks out) What? But how? I mean she is supposed to sing after two days.

Doctor: I can understand your feelings but we can't force her to sing. Only if...

Sanskaar: What? Only if what?

Doctor: Only if we could know what exactly is the reason behind her situation, I mean what exactly has she eaten then may be we can treat her better.

Sanskaar: What possibly she could have eaten? Since morning she was with me and was doing pretty fine. Then we went to the restaurant...

Navi: But we ate the same thing as she.

Sanskaar: (thinking something) Except for one thing?

Navi: What?

Sanskaar: That special drink that the waiter gave us!!

Navi: So, you think there was something in there?

Sanskaar: I don't think. I'm pretty sure about it. Navi... (holds his hand)

Navi: Yes, what?

Sanskaar: Can you take care of Swara for an hour?

Navi: But where are you going?

Sanskaar: To sort the things out.

Navi: But how will you handle the things alone? Let me also come with you.

Sanskaar: But we can't leave Swara alone here!!

Navi: But once she gets up she will kill me for letting you go alone.

Sanskaar: But...

Just then the doctor speaks...

Doctor: We'll take care of her. You both can go as knowing the exact details is the most important thing right now.

Sanskaar: But she'll freak out as soon as she'll get up.

Doctor: Don't worry about that. I have given her some painkillers and she won't be up for at least two to three hours. I expect you both to return by then.

Sanskaar looks a bit reluctant for leaving Swara alone but once the doctor assures him all over again, Sanskaar leaves along with Navtej promising the doctor to be back soon.

Reaching the restaurant Sanskaar calls for the Manager...

Manager: Yes Sir, how can I help you?

Sanskaar: What do you use for making the special drink?

Manager: What special drink, Sir?

Sanskaar: The drink you've been serving your guests today.

Manager: Sorry Sir but I think you are mistaken. We are not serving any special drinks today.

Navi: What?

Manager: That's right sit, we are not serving any special drinks today!!

Sanskaar takes a deep breath and before anyone could realize he pins the manager to the nearby wall grabbing his neck...

Navi: (shouts) Sanskaar, what are you doing?

Sanskaar gives the deadliest look possible to the manager before tightening his hold...

Sanskaar: See, I'm not in the mood of any of your jokes!! Either you'll tell me the truth or I'll sue each and every one of you here.

Manager: (chokes) Really Sir. I don't. Know. What are you saying.

Sanskaar: (in a dangerously low voice) If you don't know anything then I want your bloody damn waiter right now.

Manager: Which waiter Sir? I mean what did he look like?

Sanskaar leaves him and is about to speak about the waiter when Navi shouts again...

Navi: Sanskaar, he's there.

Sanskaar turns around and finds the same waiter running away. Both of them run towards him. Navi runs to block the door and Sanskaar runs behind the waiter and as he is about to reach the doorway, Sanskaar grabs the waiter from behind and in one swift moment holds him against a table pushing his face against it and grabbing his hands behind. The waiter who is barely able to say something mumbles...

Waiter: Please let me go. I haven't done anything.

Sanskaar: (increasing pressure against his cheeks) Do you know what my Swara says!! She says if you are not wrong you won't run away. So, are you blurting it out yourself or shall I ask the police officers to get the things out of your stomach.

Waiter: I'm sorry Sir. I didn't know what she was planning.

Sanskaar's grip loosens as he hears this and turns the waiter around to face him...

Sanskaar: See, now we are talking. Now tell me what do you mean by that!!

Waiter: When you both entered the restaurant in the morning a girl came too. She told me that she's your friend and wants to ask sorry from you all for something. So, she asked me to give that drink to you all and to say that it's a complimentary from our restaurant. But when I turned around to pick up the tray from behind I saw her mixing something in the drink.

Sanskaar: (punches him again) You saw her mixing something, yet you gave that drink to us. Navi, call the police.

Waiter: (gets scared and pleads) Sir. Sir. Sir. Please sir don't call the police. She gave me money for the whole thing. That's why, I couldn't say anything.

Sanskaar: (bumps him against the table holding his collar and looks at him with his rage filled teary eyes) Just for those mere pieces of papers do you have any idea what have you done!! She's lying on the bed. Unconscious. And I feel so helpless right now that I can't do anything for her. (shouts) Hell, I don't even know what was there in that drink.

Sanskaar couldn't take it any longer as he slides down to the ground unable to control the tears flowing from his eyes. Navtej runs to hold him as Sanskaar hugs him sobbing slowly...

Sanskaar: Everything is my fault. I shouldn't have asked her to come here. It's all because of me. And now I can't do anything for her.

Navi: Sanskaar. Sanskaar, get a hold of yourself. You need to stay strong for Swara. You need to stay strong for the girl you love. She has no one here but you. You are her one and only hope right now.

Sanskaar: (wiping off her tears) I know. I have to stay strong for her and I will. I will find what exactly was in the drink.

Just then the waiter interrupts from behind...

Waiter: I can tell you that.

Sanskaar: What?

Waiter: Please Sir, give me a chance to rectify my mistake. I don't know what exactly was that but that girl rolled that paper she brought with her and threw it under the counter. Maybe you can find some traces in that.

Sanskaar: Where?

The waiter points under the counter and Sanskaar finds a crumbled piece of paper. He opens it quickly and finds a orange colored powder inside. Even though he doesn't  know what it is, he knows that this will be useful for them. He turns to go back to the hospital but Navtej stops him...

Navi: Sanskaar, but whose that girl?

Sanskaar: Huhh?

Navi: The girl who did all this!! (looks at the waiter) Can you explain how did she look like?

Sanskaar: Wait a minute!! I think I know can scoop so low. Was there a boy with her?

Waiter: No sir. She came here all by herself.

Sanskaar: I know she's not that intelligent. There has to be her brother involved somewhere.

Navi: Who are you talking about?

Sanskaar: Let me show you.

He takes out his mobile phone and opens the group photograph they took just before leaving for Himachal Pradesh.

Sanskaar: (shows the pic to the waiter) Is she one of these?

As the waiter scans each and every photograph, he stops as he finds the face he's looking for...

Waiter: (pointing towards the pic) It's her!!!

Sanskaar: (breathes deeply) As expected. Kavita.

Navi: So, what are you going to do about it?

Sanskaar: I'll deal with her later. Right now my first priority is Swara.

Saying this he tightens his grip on the piece of paper and runs out heading towards the hospital followed by Navtej right after him.

At the hospital, the doctor takes the paper and goes for a quick examination. In the meantime, Sanskaar and Navtej go to Swara and find her still unconscious.

Navtej: Sanskaar, I'll go and get these medicines. You stay with Swara.

Sanskaar nods his head and Navtej leaves.

After almost an hour, Swara opens her eyes slowly and finds Sanskaar sleeping on the chair next to her bed. She smiles and opens her mouth to say something but again like the previous time no words come out. Shaking away all the weird thoughts arising in her mind she tries to speak again. But again she's unable to speak.

Freaking out like never before she tries to wake up Sanskaar but in the haywire situation her hand hits against the water jug and it falls down waking Sanskaar up.

He didn't know himself how he slept!! He was supposed to be awake to pacify Swara as she wakes up but now it's too late. Swara is freaking out of her life right now. She looks at Sanskaar holding her neck as tears well up her eyes.

Sanskaar runs and hugs her immediately and caresses her hairs trying to calm her down as Swara holds his jacket tightly crying silently.

Breaking the hug she looks at Sanskaar unable to control her emotions and signs...

"Sanskaar, my voice..."

Sanskaar has never felt such a pain as he is feeling right now. Every tear flowing down her cheeks seems like piercing his heart thousand times. For the first time in his life he is feeling so helpless that he can't even help 'His Girl'.

Sanskaar: (hugs her again) Shh!! It's okay. Everything will be fine. Doctors are doing the tests you'll be fine very soon. I'm there Swara. I won't let anything happen to you. Just trust me.

Swara breaks the hugs and signs again...

"But it's my competition day after tomorrow."

Sanskaar: Your health is more important than competition Swara.

Swara shakes her head vigorously denying his thought signing that she has to take part in the competition. But as Sanskaar denies again, she starts crying again, this time even more terribly looking at him with pleading eyes.

Sanskaar: (kisses her forehead) Okay. Okay. We'll talk about it later. You test for a while.

But Swara denies.

Sanskaar: You want to take part in the competition, right? (she nods her head) I'll allow you only on one condition. You'll take rest right now and will not try to do any practice. Okay?

Swara nods her head hesitantly as Sanskaar makes her lie down covering her with the comforter.

Swara sleeps pretty soon under the effect of the medicines. After sometimes, Navtej comes and calls Sanskaar...

Navi: Sanskaar, doctor is calling you!!

Sanskaar nods his solemnly and drags his feet in the direction of doctor's cabin.

Sanskaar: What happened doctor?

Doctor: Mr. Maheshwari, it's vermillion!!

Sanskaar: (shocked) Sindoor?!! Could it be that dangerous?

Doctor: (nods his head) Yes. Vermillion contains a high percentage of lead and this percentage is even more if the vermillion is of any local quality. Intake of it may cause lead poisoning affecting various vital organs of your body. In your fiancée's case it has affected her throat.

Sanskaar: So, how much time it will take to heal completely?

Doctor: As you're saying that the vermillion used was wrapped up in that paper, that means the quantity used wasn't that much. That's a plus point for us. I have changed her medicines according to the requirement. Even though you can see the effect of the medicines in a day or two but it will take at least a week to heal her completely.

Sanskaar: But what about her singing competition?

Doctor: When is it?

Sanskaar: Day after tomorrow.

Doctor: Then I'll suggest you don't let her participate.

Sanskaar: But...

Doctor: Look, Mr. Maheshwari. Being her doctor I'll suggest her not to sing. That might make her situation even worse. Please, if you'll understand only then she will. I hope you're getting my point.

Sanskaar nods his head silently and leaves the doctor's cabin.

For the entire next day, Swara is not allowed to speak anything. Although she is getting her voice back slowly, she is not allowed to practice and Sanskaar bans her from going to the competition.

On the night before the competition Swara decides to give it one last try at convincing Sanskaar for allowing her to go...

Swara: (speaks slowly) Sans... Kaar...

Sanskaar: Swara, how many times I have told in last one hour. Don't speak anything. You need rest.

Swara: But... I'm fine...

Sanskaar: (looks at her sternly) No you're not!!

Swara: Please... Let me go... to the... competition... tomorrow.

Sanskaar: You're not able to speak the entire sentence without taking breaks, how are you supposed to sing.

Swara: Please...

Sanskaar: No means no Swara and we are not having any more discussion on this topic. Now, if you don't want me to tell this entire thing to Simmy Aunty then go to sleep.

Swara realizes that there is no use of arguing with him. So, deciding what she needs to do she goes to sleep after taking her medicine.

Next day, Navtej comes back from the hostel...

Navtej: Sanskaar, our competitions are tomorrow.

Sanskaar looks at Swara's sleeping form with sad filled eyes and takes a deep breath...

Sanskaar: I'm not participating in the competition anymore Navi.

Navi: (shocked) What!! But why?!!

Sanskaar: I was doing this for Swara and if she's not able to participate, I will not either.

Navi: But...

Sanskaar: I have decided that already. But you don't worry about us and concentrate on your competition.

Navi: Okay. Alright, I won't force you. But at least go to the hostel and freshen up. You haven't moved even a bit ever since day before yesterday.

Sanskaar: But Swara?!!

Navi: Don't worry about her. She is much better now and I'll be here only. Just go and come back soon. And on your way back bring something to eat. This hospital food is too boring.

Sanskaar smiles a bit nodding his head and gives a last look to Swara before leaving for the hostel.

After an hour, as Sanskaar is about to leave for the hospital, he gets a call from Navi...

Sanskaar: (picks up the call hurriedly) Navi. What happened? Is everything alright?

Navi: I should have known that this would happen. This is all my fault.

Sanskaar: Stop scaring the hell out of me and tell me what happened!!

Navi: I'm not able to find Swara.

Sanskaar: What?!!

He could feel his world turning upside down as these words get registered in his brain and to say that he was shocked would be an understatement. He could feel like dying any next moment.

Navi: I'm sorry Sanskaar. I should have been more careful but as I returned after meeting the doctor she went missing. I have seen everywhere but I can't find her. I'm so sorry!!

Sanskaar: Don't say sorry Navi. It's not your fault. I'm on my way to the hospital. Don't worry.

Sanskaar ends the call and runs towards the main entrance of the University but the next moment his phone rings again. This time with a message that reads...

"THIS ONE IS FOR YOU SANSKAAR. I LOVE YOU!!"
