(Sans' P.O.V.)

I looked up to see Papyrus coming this way, "Well, I have to go, Flowey. I'll see you."

"WOWIE! MY BROTHER KNOWS MY FLOWER FRIEND!" Papyrus shouted, seeing us.

Flowey stared at me and I looked at Papyrus, "Yeah. Why?"

"THIS MEANS WE CAN ALL BE FRIENDS!" Papyrus shouted.

Flowey smiled, "Yeah, we can! Hey Papyrus, has Undyne let you into the Royal Guard yet?"

"NO, BUT I HOPE IT WILL BE SOON!" Papyrus shouted.

Flowey nodded, "That's good! Well, I have to go! Bye! See you guys later!"

He went underground, I ran to Hotland and I was in front of the Lab while sweating.

"Alphys! I need your help!" I shouted.

Alphys opened the door, "Sans? W-what are you doing here?"

"I need your help. Have you heard of a talking flower?" I asked.

She smiled, "The Echo Flowers? Come on, Sans. Those are harmless."

"... It's kill or be killed." I smiled.

She was shocked, "Oh... that talking Flower..."

"Yes, that talking flower. Flowey." I whispered.

She let me in, "What do you want to know?"

"How does he exist?" I asked.

She sighed, "Follow me. I'll explain."

I followed her till we got to her bathroom, "The bathroom? Why do you...-" "- you'll see... we'll have to get the keys to get back out, but... it will be easy. I haven't fed them today, anyway... so..."

"Fed who?" I asked.

She stared at the floor, "You'll see."

It was elevator and we had to wait a long time. After exploring the place, the amalgamates  were somewhat friendly. 'Weird.' I thought.

"Basically, I experimented with souls and corpses... I injected monsters that had fallen down with determination. They... melt into... the amalgamates... I injected determination into a golden flower... little did I know what was to come... the flower had no soul... and... well... the flower had dust on it... monster dust... I never knew whose dust it was, but... after remembering where the flower first showed up, and... when... I figured out who the dust belonged to... the flower appeared just after the queen left... and... you know what that means, right?" She asked.

I was surprised, "Asriel..."

"Right. So... what does that mean?" She asked.

I was really shocked and surprised, "Flowey is really Asriel... that explains why he asked..."

"What did he ask, Sans?" She asked.

I sighed, "He asked what I thought Asriel would be doing now if he was alive... I told him he'd be the good kid he'd been when I met him... I'm wrong."

"Yes, you are... but it's not really his fault. He has no soul. He can't feel anything about anyone. He was nice to everyone, but grew bored and started killing them out of curiousity." She smiled, "Can you keep this secret? Please don't let him know I told you..."

"Of course. I won't let him know."
