Part 1
Hm, not sure how I feel about this one. I started out wanting to write something to portray InuYasha's indescribable character. I know he's everyone's favorite (he's mine, too), but I, also, think he's extremely complex, and sometimes I find his kindness perplexing, considering how he grew up. Through, he was constantly degraded and outcast, he's incredibly protective. Even towards people he doesn't know. In reality, he would be much more sadistic. Of course, that's not the InuYasha we all know and love. :) This poem was done very quickly, and I'm sure sucks, haha, but I would still appreciate constructive criticism. Please read and review!

Misunderstood
Mistrusted and misjudged
He's a stranger to kindness
Except that of a mother's love
And the perplexity of her tears
"What's a half-breed?"
Scorned and alone
You would never expect
That he would swear to protect
The lives of so many.
He says it's for him
"I don't want no guilt trips"
Nevertheless, he took up the mantle
Of defending the weak and vulnerable.
Though outcast, he makes a friend
A girl, with raven hair and ivory skin
He's slow to trust, but quicker to love
When her tears flow
And he, suddenly, has a place in the world
With her.
