"Hey, I'm not here to hurt you. I just didn't expect you to come early is all. I wanted to make sure you weren't a threat or anything." He explained, clearly not afraid I was armed. "It took you that long to decide I wasn't a threat?" I asked harshly. He began to answer, but before he could get the words out, I sensed a presence looming behind me. It wasn't too close, so I decided to wait and see what it did.

"You threw a knife at me. I'm not convinced you're safe yet." He said, eyeing me up and down. The presence behind me stepped closer. "Uh... so tell me about yourself." He said, seemingly desperate for conversation. The presence behind me moved closer. "Ahhh there's not really much to tell, except that I don't like being snuck up on!" I shouted, twisting around and tackling the person behind me.

"You have ten seconds to explain yourself." I said, holding a knife to their throat. "I-I'm with him." The guy said, pointing towards the guy I had been talking to. I got off of him carefully and pulled him up. Then I slid my knife back into my boot. He dusted himself off and walked over to his comrade.

They looked at each other hesitantly before finally, the second guy spoke. "We gotta ask ya some questions." He said. I sighed, hoping this wouldn't take a long time. "Then ask." I said, walking over to a tree and sitting on the lowest branch.

"Why are you interested in becoming a part of this?" He asked, him and his partner following me and sitting on the ground below me. "You guys want to prove creepypasta exist. So do I. You guys want them dead. So do I. The only difference is you guys have more resources, more information. I don't. Isn't it obvious why I want in?" I asked, staring down at them.

They exchanged a look before the first guy shook his head and looked up at me. "How do we know we can trust you?" He asked. "Well for one, I'm obviously not a creepypasta. Last time I checked, there's not a pasta named Alyssa nor is there one who looks remotely like me. Secondly, if I wanted to kill you both I would've already done it. And lastly, we have the same goals. I heard you lost a member a few days ago, so you probably need someone to fill in and here I am." I said gesturing to myself.

They looked at each other and started whispering. "She has a point. The pastas can only have two forms. Their pasta and human form. So she can't be a creepypasta, unless she was like a new one. But last we heard, the new one doesn't look anything like her." The first one, who had brown hair said. "And a pasta probably would have just killed us right away. She chose not to. She has the same goals as us." The second one, who has black hair said. "Yeah and we aren't really in a place to say no." Brown hair guy concluded. They nodded at each other before looking back up at me.

"Okay, you're in." They said. I jumped out of the tree and nodded. "Cool, so what now." I asked, stretching. "Here's an address," black hair guy said, handing me a slip of paper, "be there at 9am tomorrow." He concluded before him and his partner walked away. I slipped the paper into my pocket before heading back towards my house. They didn't follow me, so I yawned and entered. After that, I went downstairs into my room and changed.

I laid in bed but I couldn't sleep. Eventually I threw the covers off of myself before throwing myself out of bed. Then I went upstairs and pulled open the fridge (A/N yall already know what's going down XD). I pulled out a jug of Sunny D and chugged it right from the jug.

"Uhhh is this a bad time?" Asked someone from behind. I froze, mid swig, and turned around slowly. It was BEN. I set the Sunny D down on the counter and chuckled nervously. "Ah no, it's not- it's good- I mean uh- what?" I stuttered out. "Are you okay?" He asked, worriedly. I sighed. "To be honest, I can't sleep." I admitted, shamefully putting the Sunny D back into the fridge.

BEN sighed before capturing me in a hug. "Yeah me neither. You wanna can't sleep together?" He asked. I nodded into his chest before he led me to his room. We sat on his bed and just stared at the ceiling. BEN broke the silence.

"When I was younger, video games were basically my escape. Every time something went bad, I turned to video games for an escape. I could be whoever I wanted to be. When I was sad, I'd play the hero, and when I was mad, I became the villain. It's funny how my escape also became my death. When I first got trapped in Majoras Mask, I was confused, yeah, but I was also amused by the irony. Video games were my escape, my freedom, and then they became my prison, my chains. Eventually, I got over it. That was when I became a creepypasta. Ha anyways I don't even remember where I was going with this." He said, rubbing his neck.

"That's kind of funny, actually. Video games were my escape too. It's stupid, and you might not believe me, but they're the reason I blamed my parents divorce on myself for two years. They got into fights a lot. They found any excuse to fight each other. Well, one night, I stayed up a little late. My dad came home and got mad at me. Then he blamed Mom for being 'too easy on me' and then my mom came down and said I was just a kid and that I wouldn't be a kid forever. Uh- my dad left after that argument got a little too heated. I blamed myself for a long time, but I never blamed the video games. I never saw it as they were the reason my parents divorced, because I was the one who chose to play them. I moved on. I am moved on. Heh- I don't really know where I was going with this either." I chuckled when I realized neither of us managed to make our points.

And then BEN hugged me.

I hugged back and we just sat there. It felt like hours, but I wasn't keeping track of time. We finally let go of each other and I yawned. "Can I sleep in here tonight?" I asked, sleepily. "Yeah... yeah you can sleep here." BEN said, also yawning. After that, I set an alarm for 8am and we fell asleep in each others arms. For some reason, I felt at peace.

-le time skipppppp-

I was walking to the address the guys gave me, already in my alter identity. It looked like an apartment building, but I didn't question it. I walked inside and went to the front desk. "Uh I was told to be at this address" I told the lady, not really sure what I was supposed to say. "Name?" She asked, looking up at me. "Alyssa Waters" I replied. She typed something on her computer before looking back up at me.

"Okay, fourth floor, number D13." She said, turning back to her computer. I hurried up the stairs before giving up halfway and looking for an elevator. I was on the second floor and what I saw amazed me. The floor was mostly open. Boards were put up everywhere showcasing different information and papers were scattered all over the place. There were people sitting on boxes and talking to each other while writing things down in notepads.

I was a little disappointed too though. There were not nearly as many people as I thought there would be. I only counted about 5 on the whole floor. I shook off my disappointment and rushed to the elevator, then I stepped inside and selected "4". I waited awkwardly while the elevator moved and then breathed a sigh of relief when I finally reached my floor.

Then I found D13. "Here goes nothing." I said, walking in.

There were two people in the room. The room wasn't very big, and I felt a little cramped. "You must be Alyssa." An older looking guy said. I paused before realizing Alyssa was my fake name and then nodded my head. "We need to discuss your capabilities" another guy, this one in a lab coat, said. I took a deep breath.

"I can do a lot of things. Stealth, combat, you name it. I've got really good hearing and overall my senses are pretty good as well. I've never had a single person manage to sneak up on me and I know when to drop out of a fight. Honestly, I'm sure there's more, but I don't really keep track." I said. I decided not to mention my shapeshifting because it could be a clear giveaway that I was actually (Y/N) and not some chick named Alyssa.

The two men nodded their heads. "Whenever someone joins us, we perform a surgery that can give them a power. It's unfortunately, completely random, so we don't know what power you would receive. The surgery tends to be extremely painful, but we use it as an initiation." The lab-coat guy explained.

"Greattt, not another freaking sketchy surgery." I thought, remembering when Slender put me through one. "What if I don't want powers? This all sounds a little sketchy to me." I said, trying to get out of doing the surgery. "Well you do have the option not to get the surgery, but if you don't get it, then we will have to kill you." The old guy said. I scoffed.

"Can you at least give me some time to think about it?" I asked, realizing I should probably talk to EJ. The two men glanced at each other before they nodded their heads. "You have one day. If you're not back here by the end of tomorrow, we will have no choice but to track you down and kill you." The old guy threatened. "Yeah yeah, I got it." I said waving them off and walking out of the office.

The second I left the building I sensed someone following me. I guess they didn't trust I wouldn't run away. I started running but they managed to keep up, so I headed for the park that was in the woods. I needed to lose them somehow. I spotted a crowd of people and hurried towards them. I noticed the person who was following me finally come out of the trees.

"My friend fell and got hurt really badly! Can you all please help me make sure she's okay?!" I asked, making tears well up in my eyes. The group crowded around me, asking questions. They were perfectly surrounding me. I pointed towards where my "stalker" was and told them my friend was that way. They all rushed in front of me, and I quickly shapeshifted into a bee and made my escape.

I positioned myself on a flower and watched as the man was practically trampled by the people who were concerned for a complete stranger. The man managed to finally stand up again and then he started looking frantic. He rushed to where the crowd had been just a few seconds ago, before looking around. Obviously, he didn't see me, so he walked into the woods, most likely hoping to find me there.

"Now I have to deal with these people." I thought. I couldn't risk the man asking them if they had seen where I went, so I needed to take them out. "I have to make this look like an accident though." I said, flying away from the flower I had been resting on and towards the crowd. I stopped a good distance away from them and shifted myself into a bear. "This should be fun." I said with a wicked grin.

They had no chance.
