After becoming a creepypasta, a new meaning was added to Halloween for me.

As a kid it was all about the candy and dressing up as whatever I thought was cool at the time.

As I got older, it was about having the best costume.

However, now that I am a creepypasta, I've realized that it's also about being yourself. Weird right? I mean, the holiday is basically all about dressing as someone else, but for creepypastas it's a chance for them to go out and be themselves.

"What are you gonna be for Halloween?" I asked BEN, who was sitting on the couch playing a video game.

"Myself. Duh." He responded.

"Have you ever been like... not yourself?" I questioned.

BEN remained silent for a few moments and I couldn't tell if it was because he was focused on his game or if he was really thinking about my question.

"I mean, I remember dressing up as Link a bunch of times as a kid." He replied.

"But you haven't dressed up recently?" I asked.

"Nah." He said, casually, slaving away at his game.

I decided to leave him alone so I could think for a bit.

Being the ruler of the Underworld had its perks, and right now one of those perks was having a lot of space to think.

I strolled along the halls for a good amount of time.

Being a creepypasta who was pretty much always in human form gave me a different perspective than the others. I could go out in public without much fear and I was never concerned about being myself.

But I came to the realization that for the others, they can't just go out in public without a disguise, and they can't just be themselves around strangers.

So Halloween was the one day of the year they could go out, have some fun, and be themselves while doing it.

And yet I wasn't satisfied with that.

So I started planning.

It took almost the whole day, but I did it.

With Slenders help, I planned a Halloween party for all of us pastas.

A costume party.

I decided to host it as a sort of pre-Halloween thing, meaning it'd take place right before kids started trick-or-treating and it'd end when everyone started going outside to get candy.

I couldn't wait.

~A few days later~

Everything was in place.

I decided to host the party in the Underworld and then after we'd all go out into the "mortal realm" and wreak havoc there.

It was almost time for the party to begin.

"So... what exactly are you?" I asked BEN, staring at his odd outfit.

"Can't you tell? I'm a modern take on Link if he was a street racer." BEN responded, seemingly offended.

"So... Link in Mario Kart?" I asked, staring him up and down.

That's basically what he looked like. The only exceptions were he was wearing a green beanie, green t-shirt, and brown pants. It was like a subtle link in a cardboard box painted to look like a car.

"No. I'm Link... but if he was living here and now. And I'm him if instead of adventuring or whatever, became a streetcar racer." BEN explained.

I just nodded along.

I still thought he was basically Link in Mario Kart.

"I don't even need to ask what you are." He stated, observing my outfit.

I beamed at him.

Before we could have any further conversation, I realized that the other pastas has begun to show up. I made my way to the entrance hall to greet them and see their costumes.

One by one they filed in.

Laughing Jack was dressed as Ryuk from Death Note.

Sally was a warrior princess.

Jane wore an ornate masquerade mask and a fancy black gown.

Toby was... the male version of that girl with the bloody nose from that one show Stranger Things but with a waffle backpack instead of a purse.

Eyeless Jack was Jack Skellington.

Jeff was... Jeff was wearing a morph suit that looked like Slenderman...

Slenderman was... one of the inflatable tube guys?

Clockwork was a human Pikachu.

Smile Dog looked to be an Eevee.

Masky was Michael Myers.

Hoodie was Freddy Krueger.

And honestly I could have gone on but there were a lot of pastas and some of them I just couldn't figure out what they were.

"(Y/N), are you what I think you are?" EJ asked, pointing at my outfit.

I smiled widely at him.

"Yep!" I exclaimed.

"I don't get it..." Sally commented from beside EJ, pouting slightly. EJ chuckled and lifted her up.

"She's Sunny D." He told her.

Sally's eyes widened before she looked between us.

"Ok see how her shirt is kind of an orangey-yellow color like Sunny D? And she's wearing a beanie which is the same color as the bottle caps on the small Sunny D bottles." EJ explained pointing at my various items of clothing.

I smiled at him proudly.

"Ohhhhhh." Sally responded, nodding her head in understanding.

She then proceeded to make EJ carry her around and explain everyone else's costume to her.

I guess you could say the party was a success.

But what was even better was the after party.

When it finally came time to enter the mortal realm, everyone changed backed into their normal outfits except for me. Then we all went to a random place and had the time of our lives.

The pastas received numerous compliments on how accurate and realistic their "costumes" were and even met some people dressed as them.

Jeff was one of the unlucky ones who met someone who claimed his "costume" wasn't as good as the real thing and Jeff responded by grabbing a hold of the dudes neck, staring at him, unblinking of course, and sticking his finger into the slits of his mouth and using the blood to paint a similar thing on the dudes face before taking his knife and cutting a smile into the guys face...

Needless to say, one of the "fake" bodies in someone's yards used as Halloween decoration was definitely not fake.

And neither were any of the other bodies.

Okay but like I actually picture human Sunny d to have either short blonde or light orange hair, wear a blueish beanie, an orange-yellow letterman jacket, white t-shirt, dark jeans, and high top converse, buuuuuuuuuut I couldn't copy that exactly so I got as close as I could XD Basically I wore a navy blue beanie, orangish yellow shirt, navy jacket and dark jeans. Since I didn't leave my house I didn't bother with shoes XD Oh! I also taped a sign to my shirt that said "Sunny D" on it. I should've taken a picture but I completely spaced it! So here's a picture of what I wore to school today:

I marked out part of it because my room was a mess when I took the pic this morning XD Also sorry the mirror is so dirty, it came with the house when we moved in and the house is really old so who knows how long the mirror has been in it for and no matter how hard I try to clean it, the spots won't go away XP.
