Yoongi smiled softly at the messages. With a sigh, he set down his phone, his gaze wandering around the empty walls of the place that was supposed to share with his almost-husband. He didn't want to live here after Hoseok ran away, but they had both paid good money for this house and Yoongi wasn't about to let it go just yet.

Maybe it was the tiny sliver of hope in him, that Hoseok would one day return to him.

Even after three years, he was still head over heels in love with Jung Hoseok. If anything, Hoseok ditching him– no matter how much it hurt, only caused him to fall more. He couldn't help it. Jung Hoseok was his first everything. They just made sense.

Yoongi didn't know where he went wrong.

Everything seemed fine. Sure, Hoseok's anxiety seemed to have increased the days leading up to the wedding, but Yoongi had assumed it was pre-wedding jitters. He should have known something was up when Hoseok had started making excuses and delaying on wedding events they had to plan. He thought he knew Hoseok through the back of his hand.

Turns out, Yoongi didn't know Hoseok at all.

Yoongi picked up his phone once more, taking the time to scroll mindlessly through his fans' posts. It wasn't something that he did often, but on days he felt incredibly down, it always cheered him up to see fans' reactions and if Yoongi were being honest, he definitely needed that boost of dopamine— at least until Minnie and the others came back home.

Yoongi pressed his lips together as he gazed at the tweet.

"I'm glad some people think that," he murmured, fingers lingering on the tweet. "Hoseok didn't seem to think so."

"Am I going to have to confiscate your phone?"

Yoongi looked up to see a bright-faced Jimin, one hand holding blankets while the other one held food. With a smile, Yoongi tucked his phone away, taking the blankets out of his hands.

"How'd you get here so quickly?"

"Considering I wanted to commit a federal crime, I decided that speeding was the best I could do without leaving you for long periods of time," Jimin responded, walking with Yoongi to the living room. "You're lucky I was already thinking of us, or else I wouldn't have brought food. Tae and Jin are together right now, no doubt buying some last-minute things. I'm sure they'll bring snacks too."

Yoongi shook his head at Jimin's casual response, letting out a sigh. "I can't believe you're actually leaving for Gwangju with Jin."

Jimin froze slightly. "Yeah. It's going to be so fun."

"You don't sound like you mean it." Yoongi tilted his head slightly to the side. "Is something wrong?"

"No, nothing." Jimin smiled, though his expression told a different story. "You know, just not too excited to go back to that place. For obvious reasons, I am very anti-Gwangju. Now, enough on that. I came here to spend time with you! So, what we watching?"

"We could always continue It's Okay to Not be Okay," Yoongi suggested, lips quirking up innocently. Jimin burst into laughter, wrapping his arms around Yoongi instinctively. The action caused Yoongi to stumble a bit, losing his footing, sending both of them tumbling to the ground.

"Now look what you did." Jimin grinned. "My clothes are dirty now."

"Warn me next time you're going to do that." Yoongi laughed as Jimin rolled off him, "It's not my fault you decided to attack me this way."

Jimin beamed even wider. "And I'd do it again!"

He got up, dusting himself off, before giving his hand to Yoongi. Yoongi took it gratefully, wrapping his arms around Jimin as he was lifted. They remained embracing each other for a few, basking in each other's warmth. After a few moments, Jimin pressed a kiss against Yoongi's forehead, before pulling away.

"Let's go watch that show, yeah? Eat, then cuddle after."

Yoongi smiled. "Sounds like a plan."

revised a/n: i think what annoys me about restructuring layouts is the loss of comments, like they don't appear where they were originally which sucks cuz many comments made me wheeze and it'd be great if others could see them too 😔
